Audace blinked, "i have no idea i was half dead." he laughed trying to lighten the mood then pointed, "that way."

Kuni elbowed Audace in the side playfully. "shut-up, you were not half dead, I would never let you die..." he sighed and pulled thuders reins to the direction Audace had pointed to. The horse started out into a trot as they went over the hill.

Kuni looked back and raised his eyebrow. He couldn't blame the boy for being so close. He really never had anyone to hold him. He sighed and kissed Audace's forehead.

Audace smiled ;laying his head on Kuni's sghoulder and shutting his eyes. he felt tired but he was happy to be with Kuni. he was really going to make a difference in the young prince's life.

They traveled for a few hours till they got to a small vally and saw a group gathered around. Kuni pulled the reins and thunder stopped. "Audace, is that some of the tribe?"

Audace looked up tieredly. he had been dozing and he yawned then he just froze. his breath hitched and hi heart stopped and he felt his blood run cold. he didn;lt answer just stared and a termor went through him as he clutched onto Kuni tighter with fear in his eyes.
a man stood there slightly taller then Audace was himself. his black hair was pulled back in a messy pony tail with a smirk twisted over his face. but his eyes were what made Audace really freeze. they were narrowed and a sparkling golden color.

Kuni caught his breath as he saw the man looking at them...he could see his golden eyes. It seemed like the sky grew blacker by the minute as they stared at eachother. Kuni knew what the golden eyes were.......it was Audace's father.....

The man smirked and motioned for the rest of the men to look up.
Audace shivered buring his head into Kuni's shoulder, "run...... run now!"

Kuni pulled on the reins and thunder snorted and rose on it's hind legs. When thunder got back on all legs it dashed back from where they came. Kuni stayed low to the horse to that the wind wouldn't slow them down.
His heart was racing....Audace and him were up against the leader of the tribe. They might now make it out alive...

"follow them." the man groweled and the men complied.
Audace was shaking. he was scared that his father would tear them all out alive. no he couldn;t lose Kuni and he had grown attached to Thunder....

Kuni started to breath hard when he heard the hooves from the other horses behind them. His vision started to get blurry as his sickness started to kick in again.
Suddenly thunder collasped and kuni and Audace went flying. Thunder had been hit with a arrow and laid on the ground.
Kuni didn't know what to do as he landed on the ground hard. He reached out and grabbed Audace.

Audace winced looking at Kuni. he frowned getting up and drawng his sword standing in front of the prince glaring at the tribe that had stopped.
of course Audace's father moved forward. he smirked, "Audace Audace Audace. i never thought i'd see you ever again. for some reason thought i feel like your wretch of a mother gets everything wrong. you're brother was braver and more daring then you of course i killed him. ha!"
Audace growled his hands tightening on his sword, "shut up, Coeur."
Coeur smirked and laughed bitterly, "you need some respect son."

Kuni took out his sword and glared at the man. He was still breathing hard as he glared across the faces of the other men. He was scared fo once.....he couldn't remember the last time he was scared.
he focused though, he wouldn't forget what his master told him. stay calm....

Audace glared looking down at Thunder and his hands tightened over his sword. Coeur noticed and laughed getting off his own sword, "you are too weak. caring about something that doesn;t even have feelings."
"horses have feelings you bastard," Audace growled but was thinking quickly. they had to get OUT of this mess....
Coeur studied Kuni and Audace carefully.
