Audace sighed his mind blank. it was like a void of darkness. what he could feel though was mounting tension then relaxation. Kuni? was he awake?

Kuni sighed. His shoulder felt better but his head was another story. He slowly wrapped his arms around the young boy. It was growing cold and he didn't have the stregth to close the window.

Audace's eyes opened wearily. his mind was still foggy but he felt Kuni's closeness and he would have yelled in surprise but... was still too tired to really think about it.

Kuni sighed. His attempt on saving the army was pathetic. He didn't even make it a full day out of the palace without being injured or robbed. The only good thing that came out was the fact that he now trusted Audace......to a point.

Kuni looked at Audace in the darkness. "yes Audace?" He narrowed his eyes so he could try to see Audace better. He could harly see straight to start with.

Audace grit his teeth while his heart jumped by just hearing Kuni say his name. how is he doing this to him? no one had ever affected him in this way before, "is something bothering you?"

Kuni blinked. "No......is something bothering you? you sound shaky. Are you cold?" His voice had much concern in it.

Audace felt his heart race and he was bl;ushing, "i'm just fine," he grinned shakily. damn kuni he was making him feel so strange... he didnl;t understand it! he;s barely knew the boy!

Kuni could hear Audace's heart beat fast. He raise his eyebrow. "Are you sure you're ok? did you have another nightmare?"

"no," Audace answered in a small voice. it was sencere and honest. he was looking at Kuni biting his lip. damn if e wasn;t careful he was going to do something stupid.

Kuni frowned. "alright. Try to get some rest. We have a lot of traveling to do tomorrow. We have to get up early to shop too. we lost a lot today because of that damn theif." He sighed and closed his eyes.
