"You're right." he stood up and got the tent packed and some meat stored. He tied it all to the horses and mounted. He took the reins and looked down at audace. "let's get going."

Audace smiled and untied his own horse and got on. he smiled at Kuni and nodded, "you first."

Kuni nodded and tapped the reins a bit. The horse started to gallap down the hill and into the plains below. It had been a long time since he rode a horse fast. It felt good with the wind in his hair. He stayed down low on the horse so that he wasn't bounching all over the place.
Kuni looked back at Audace to see if he was catching up.

Audace grinned and followed. he loved riding though he didn;t get to do it often. it was his brother who taught him and it was one reason that he lvoed it soi much. other then that it was the exceleration of speed and the scenery whipping by you that kept it interesting.

Kuni suddenly senced something and stopped the horse. He looked around at the hills that looked down at the plain. I swore that he could hear more horse hooves agaisnt the ground.

Audace stopped next to Kuni, "whats wrong?" he asked the older man and glanced around. maybe it was just him but something didn;t seem right about this place.

Then he heard it. The whistel of an arrow. His arm jotted out infront of Audace face a caught the arrow in his hand. It was about a few inches away from Audace's face. Kuni looked up at the hill from the direction that the arrow came from.
There on the hill stood a man mounted on a horse. A pole was fixed to the horse's set that held the flag of the tribe.
Kuni looked at Audace uneasy. "A friend of yours

Audace's eyes were wide and he looked up, "most likely," he muttered sarcastically, "we better find a way to take cover before he shoots again..."

Kuni tapped the reins lightly and the horse moved slowly across the plain. He didn't take his eye off the man at all. He could see that he was setting up another shot. "He'll have to break a run Audace."

Audace was following, "yeah... but it honestly can;t just be him can it?" he searched quickly for anyone else.

Kuni nodded. He then suddenly heard more horses. He looked on the otherside of the plain and saw a small group of the tribe. All their bows were fixed and pointed to Audace and the prince.
"Holy shit..." Kuni pulled the reins towards the open space that wasn't guarded by the tride. The horse kicked and started to gallap fast towards the direction that Kuni ordered.

Audace followed his hand on his sword, "this is not good!" he glanced around. sure he was great with a sword but against arrows made it tricky not to mention Kuni could get hurt.

Kuni looked back. "Audace! Let's go! We're no match for them now!" Kuni was a great swordsmen but he had no chance when it came to blocking hundreds of arrows at a time.
The tribe started to came down from the hill and began attacking the two boys with flying arrows.

Audace sighed ducking his head nd glaring, "yeah i know that but what are we gonna do?! the horses wll get tired out at some point!" he unsealthed his sword and slashed stopping some arrows.

"We're just going to have to out run them, we can't stay and defend! It's impossible!" He was getting further and futher away from Audace.
