Audace shut his eyes and sighed. he expected that. he picked up his sword looking at it and not saying anything. he never told his story to anyone before. it was so strange letting someone know a part of himself. he never really trusted anyone yet what did he have to lose? the prince could probably care less.

kuni looked at him and frowned. "Come near the fire, it's cold out there." he didn't want to make the boy feel bad. maybe if he acted nice then maybe Audace would respect him when he rules.

Audace looked at Kuni in shock. only a few hours ago that same prince was trying to bite his head of now he was actually caring? maybe this was all just a plot to get him to trust the other boy anf then backstab him later. well... no one said life wass easy. he;d just have to take some risks.
he smiled at Kuni and nodded, "right." he stood sealthing his sword and walking over and sitting by the fire but keeping a distance from Kuni. after his previous show of affection he wouldn;t like to repeat a beating if he ticked the older boy off.
he watched the fire carefully then a question came into his mind, "kuni... if you could have chosen where yuou'd grow up and live... would you still pick being royality?"

Kuni frowned. "I never thought of it. I never really had to. Royalty was always in my blood. I don't know how I'd live life if I weren't." He looked at Audace and snickered. "i'm sure you'd choose royalty over the tribe."

Audace looked at him and smiled, "well no. not exactly. my choice on the matter is rather difficult. being royality is great but i'd hate for everyone to stare and ultimitmatly think i'm the best in the world and yet secertly be feared by the power i hold over them. being in the tribe isn't great either. to walk around where no one trust you or cares for you and recoils in fear really hurts. but i would stay in the tribe for my brother just so he could know... that he didnlt die with knowing that everyone hated and feared him and no one cared and are glad he;s dead. thats not me. i cared... and i still do. but fr myself? i;d just... wish to be normal. where no one stared or feared. just another normal pushover person."

"heh, but the memories will not be forgotten. they'll still rember me for who i was and they still won;t except or trust me. for i was part of that tribe. i never killed but i was in the raids and the main distrationist. m father a cold blooded murderer. my mother not even of japanese blood my brother a theif. even if i had a son or daughter they'd treat my child the same. maybe thats why i;m gay. i;d never wish this upon another being..." he shrugged, "or maybe i look into things too much."

Kuni nodded. "i would never know what it's like to live like that. I don't care either." he looked away and cloed his eyes. He heared a few bugs in his ear and shwooshed them away.

Kuni looked at him and growled. "I'm not power hungry! How dare you say that!" he flung his long sleeve over the fire and a few ashes flew over towards Audace. small twigs around Audace cought on fire.

Audace smirked and blew out the small fires and stepped on the rest, "careful you may kill me one of these days." he sat up and smirked, "your not power hungry but you sure don;t seem very caring of people. if your not careful you'll be a bad ruler. you have the poteintel to be a great one so don;t become selfish my friend. it happens to everyon trust me."
