It was hard to see raichu like this, holding onto his life. Dainket could remember how strong raichu use to be. now he looked so fragile, like he could break any moment. Dainket just stood there and sighed. he didn't feel like talking anymore. he just felt like watching his grandfather weither away. that's all he could do.

Raichu set the bag down as he got out a big pot as he began filling it with warm water at the sink " you look concerned dainket... try not to worry about me alright" he sighed then looked out the window

don't worry? yea right. his grandpa was going to die tomorrow, maybe even tonight. how could he NOT worry. He wanted to be there when raichu fell for the last time. he walked into the kitchen and sat down.

Raichu began to fill the pot with the rice as he let out a sigh then stopped when he thought there was enough... slowly he put the pot in the oven as he turned it on then walked over to the table " you dont want me to fight in the tournament do you?"

Dainket looked away. "No, no i really don't. I understand your wish though. it was something you loved and i won't take your happiness away, not when it would be the last thing you do." he sighed and looked down. "I just don't want you to die in the middle of the match. I rather you die after the fight, were you're body wouldn't be blown up into small peices."

Raichu looked over at him as he smiled slightly " dainket I promise I wont be blown up alright" he laughed then sat down in a seat " I plan on living out the tournament atleast I hope I will, I may be old but im alot stronger than most people still"

Raichu nodded slowly " yeah I know... ill just try my best not to hold my heart then I guess, to bad weapons arent aloud in tournaments my power pole would help alot" he frowned then looked up at the ceiling " oh well"

Raichu sighed then nodded " Then I want my younger brother to have it then... you remember Vertix right... he liked it when I was raising him... I guess he can give it to one of his kids" he sighed... he had always planned to give it to ryten... and now he was trying to give it to dainket but he wouldnt take it

dainket didn't remember Vertix at all but he nodded anyway. "If it means that much to you, I'll take it and give it to my first child, if i even have one." he blinked slowly, he was tired and he knew that he would need sleep of tomorrow. he might be up all night crying tomorrow. he loved raichu and couldn't believe this would be his last night with him.

Dainket nodded and stood up. he walked to the window and looked out. it was dark now, the time was crawling up Dainket's spine. he hated this. he wanted it to end, but then again, he never wanted to say good-bye. I'll be all alone tomorrow night.....all alone.
