The Tale of Seven: Kidnapped Hope

Ven rubbed his head as he sighed, a large sweatdrop coming down on his brow as he got on top of Flygon. If they kept talking about sex... he was going to start getting horny and that wasn't good for anyone! "COME ON!" He grabbed Terra's collar and pulled him over, waiting for him to get on behind him.

Fuu blushed even more as she climbed up onto her friend, seeing him roll his eyes. Oh yea, he knew those nights when he was placed on the counter with the oohs and aahs. Luckily no one could slap him because they didn't know what he was thinking... and even if they DID slap him, he wouldn't feel a thing. HA!

Axel nodded as he patted down Rapidash, watching Roxas climb up easily now. "We saw Ninetail's baby." The unicorn seemed to neigh happily, her head bopping up and down to know more, nuzzling his shoulder. "Hahaha! It's a red Absol. We named her Sanuye." The horse seemed to smile before Axel left to her side and got up with the help from Roxas.

Riku hopped up onto Arcy, feeling how warm she was. She must of been happy too to hear that another baby was born for she was watching Axel intensely as he spoke. He rubbed her side before wrapping his arms around Sora, leaning in to speak into his ear. "Sora... do you know what happened to Arcy's pups?"

[Reno]

Terra laughed softly as he saw Ven's overreaction but climbed up obediently, his arms curling around his waist. He lent close, nuzzling the other's neck and then murmured, "What's wrong, getting a little bothered?" He slooooowly licked the other on the ear, grinning as the other shuddered.

Aqua blushed, getting on Steelix as well, but as the rock snake lifted his head, she glanced at Fuujin from the corner of her eye. She lent over whispering softly, "You know, that handcuffs thing isn't a bad idea."

Roxas smiled at Rapidash's cheer. He wondered is she was ever hoping for children... He lent back some as Axel settled in behind him, turning his head and kissing his jaw lightly. "Love you."

"Arrr~" Arcanine said as if she too was cooing over the idea of the little red Absol. Ninetails was so lucky!
Sora smiled but blinked as he got the question from his lover. He glanced at him some before shaking his head. "No... When I first got her all Nurse Joy could tell me was that she had been a mom... but she never told me what happened. To the pups or her mate..."

"Alright guys lets go!" Roxas said, before he snapped the reins and they were off. The others quickly followed his example.

Ven's eyes widened as he heard his lover in his ear, about to turn around and whack him good when his eyes lidded some, feeling the hot tongue on his ear. A sensation ran through his body, all the way through to his groin as his cheeks became red. "Terra.... this isn't the time... for that." He swallowed before his younger brother snapped him into attention. He took a breath to calm him down before hitting Flygon's reigns. "Up flygon!"

The singing started around them before they were lifted off the ground and up into the air.

Fuu's face turned bright red when she heard Aqua's suggestion, her hand suddenly reaching up and covering her lips as red eyes widened to look at her lover. She cleared her throat some before patting Steelix's head. The large pokemon understood before starting to head after the horse in front. At least he got to see the world now. He was never let out before since a boat couldn't hold his weight.

That's why him and Aqua never got along. Ever since she came around, they were always water bound and he couldn't be called upon. Did she have any idea how boring it was to stay in a pokeball for weeks!?

Riku nodded as he pulled away a bit. As they started, his mind started to wonder. Was Arcy's mate an Arcanine too... or was it another pokemon of her egg group? He never thought two different Pokemon could fall in love but Absol and Ninetails proved him wrong... then so did Houndoom and Skitty. They were suppose to be complete opposites! Luckily for the devil hound though, now he didn't have googly eyes for any female who walked on four feet!


They traveled through the day, going across the trails and into towns and cities alike. People stopped to see the small adventuring team as they went by, some hardly noticing the two up in the sky...which might be a good thing since the two got into a steamy make-out session and before it could get too hot, Flygon hit Terra in the back of his head. There was no way he was letting them do it on his back while he was flying... and especially not with Ven!

When it became dusk, they were only a few miles from Johto. They would be able to get to Jubilife City in the early afternoon. They decided that it would be a good place to stop, flygon looking for a body of water for them to rest by.
They found such place, a small stream and a field close by to set up camp.

A fire was made thanks to a few pokemon collecting wood before Axel pulled out a packed meal to cook. Large sleeping bags were spread around the fire and respectful couples at on top of each as they sat around the fire. Ven unfortunately still looked flush along with Fuu but the meal seemed to take their mines off it.
"Mmmmm, what is that?" Riku had to ask as he poured a cup of ice tea into his mug before passing it to Sora.

"Bread and Tropius banana pudding." Axel exclaimed as he stirred the stuff bubbling over the fire.
"Sounds more like a dessert than a meal..." Fuu frowned, watching him stir.
"It is... but it's as healthy and filling as a meal. I figured it would be a nice treat and maybe... for the celebration of the new baby."

There was a soft chuckle in the blond's ear, the male nuzzling his face into the other's shoulder comfortably. His hot breath tickled down the others neck, a clear contrast to the wind whipping around them as Flygon started to fly. "Whatever you saaaay." It was too bad for Ven, Terra wasn't the one leading, because now he had free access to his neck.

Hours later Ven would have many dark marks along the pale skin to show off as well as kiss swollen lips.

Aqua had to hold back a laugh at her girlfriend's expression, finding it cute and hilarious at the same time. She held on as they started to move, sneaking glances at the other ever now and again - yep still red.

It was too bad she didn't know she was seriously considering it!

Riku meanwhile wasn't the only one lost in thought. Sora couldn't help but wonder an age-old question. He had honestly asked the tiger dog many times about her litter, her life before him. But all the dog would do was smile and nudge him with his nose until he fell over and lick him to death until he forgot. She would never answer him which made him think the happening was not one she wished to remember. All he could guess was that her lover might of been an electric type, which could explain why she hung around Junita to find him in the first place.

He wasn't sure... but he wish he knew.


The sun would fall, burning the sky with oranges and red like a fire. It was such a nice sight for Terra and Ven or Aqua and Fuujin who were higher up and would see the horizon perfectly.
"It's quite a sight!" Aqua had said via communicator.
"It's just a sunset, happens everyday." One could practically of heard Terra's eyes rolling from his tone.
A chipper voice jumped in. "I wanna see - bet they aren't anything like the ones on Mirage though!"
And then Axel. "Hey, do you guys know why the sun is red when-ow!"
They had faintly heard Roxas' voice, the obvious one to interrupt the red-head. "Don't be romantic with them!"
"I'm not, it's just a fact!"

They never did figure out why the sun was red though.

Soon though, thanks to the colors of the sky and sun, Flygon called as he spotted it being reflected in a body of water. He led the way to it, the other Pokemon followed through the trees until they all came to the small clearing, perfect for setting up camp. And they did so quickly with the help of their Pokemon.

Pretty soon they were all sitting on their sleeping bags, talking and enjoying the drawing night as Hoot-Hoot and Noctowl called and Dustox and Masquerain flew by, attracted by the light of the fire. The few Pokemon they had let out explored the area, like Mightyena with her stalker Luxray right behind, or were - like the eeveelutions - playing in the dirt. Others, like Seviper and Honeytail, were curled up close to each other, watching the stars. Only one of them sat alone.

"Rai, rai rai..." Said a little electric mouse by the stream, pulling off a petal from a flower he held, leaving only two left on the massacred flower. It was something he saw his master doing once and realized it could predict his future! "Rai raichu." He pulled another. "Rai rai rai.... Rai rai! Rai rai!" The mouse held the empty flower close, cheeks sparking a bit in happiness. He couldn't wait to get back!

Sora was watching his mouse friend from where he sat a little smile playing on his lips. It looked like he had found love after all. He looked over, a cup suddenly in front of him. "Oh, Thanks Ri!" He took the cup with a smile, taking a sip of the cool drink. He also caught the sweet scent of the food in the air though, making his mouth water and his sweet tooth just beg for a taste. "Mmm, well it smells wonderful. " He reassured Axel after he spoke with Fuujin.

"It's no muffin... but I call Roxas' share!" Terra suddenly added. Everyone gave the brunette a stare of confusion or disbelief. What a glutton! Besides, Roxas would never give him his share because secretly he had the hugest sweet tooth in the world and would nev...
The strong tan hand of the greedy male waved behind Axel making everyone look over. They found a sweet sight. The blond was laying out on his sleeping bag, an arm wrapped loosely around Zan who was lying beside him. The scene was rather cute, as he used one of the wolf-dog's large paws as a pillow. Anyone could tell from the way his chest rose in fell at even intervals that he was fast asleep.

Sora and Riku shared a look, before the brunette smiled just slightly as he remembered last night.
"Umbre! Umbreon!" A cold nose touched Riku's face and a paw tickled Sora's cheek, awakening them both.
"Huh? What is it Umbreon?" Riku asked a little groggily.
"Bre, bre, umbreon!" The fox looked back nervously to where Axel and Roxas' sleeping back was the sight of it half empty then he looked towards the sky where the moon was. It had been awhile, was what he was trying to convey.
"Ah, what the? Where'd he go?" Riku started to sit up, a little more awake.
"Wazat?" The brunette mumbled incoherently.
"Your brother is gone."
Blue eyes slit open and he looked past the other. "Mmm.... Roxas?"
"Yeah we bet- Ah, Sora!" Arms wrapped around the silverette, bringing him back to the 'bed'.
"Don' worry 'bout him." The brunette slurred, yawning as he snuggled closer.
"But..."
"He's always like dis when he's stressed... needs ta think and... and all..." Sora yawned again. "He'll be back. Tommora he'll give Flar his food, be mean all daaaa- yaaaaawn-ahh... and by night he'll be first ta sleep..."
"....Alright."
They fell back to bed and never saw the blonde return.

And he was right for the most part. That morning Roxas had given his food to Flareon. That morning and well into the day the blonde was a bit more cruel and short-tempered, even after the visit to Mauville. And by night he was fast asleep, not even an ounce of food in his belly.

But if anyone asked Sora, he would of said Roxas DEFINITELY needed the sleep more. He was only a slight jerk when he was hungry; he was an absolute MONSTER when he was tired.

"It's too bad... I wanted to read some of mom's diary tonight." Sora finally sighed, perking Ven's interest.

Everyone glanced over, seeing the disaster pokemon and master sleeping under the stars. Even Axel stopped his stirring for a moment to look back at his lover. He seemed to know Roxas's routine almost as well as Sora. He actually got this information from Sora when Roxas pulled this the first time.
He only gave a soft smile before turning back, stirring the dessert again. It's too bad he would miss this... he didn't make this very often for it was hard for him to get Tropius bananas.... especially living in Lavaridge...

Ven glanced up at Terra before rolling his eyes. "You fatty... if you keep eating the way you do, flygon won't be able to fly you anywhere and I'll have to ride you instead."

The camp site grew extremely silent as they looked at the oblivious blonde and the grinning brunette.
"Uh... Ven....?"
"What?"
Fuu pointed to Terra, making the blonde look back at his lover, eyes widening before he slapped him. "PERVERT!"

"ALRIGHT! It's done." Axel announced, grabbing some bowls and starting to fill them up. Instead of giving Terra Roxas's portion, he gave everyone some extra before placing some spoons at the top. He then passed they around and sat in front of his lover to help block the fire's light.

Ven blinked as he took his bowl... but before he could dig in, he looked over at his older brother. "Mom's....diary? But she said never to look in it and... did you take it!?" It didn't sound like something any of them would do, especially not Sora!

[Reno]

"I'll have to ride you instead."
Blue eyes went a little wide, looking at Ven who hadn't even realized what he had said. A maniacal grin spread on his lips, his eyes becoming a little unfocused as his mind wandered.

"Oh, oh fuck Terra~" Ven groaned, his pink nipples erect and his member hard and dripping as his body shifted up and down, swallowing a second erection whole. His skin was glistening with sweat and lips full and red from being kissed. And for some strange reason he was wearing a cowboy hat. "Ahhh... ahh TERRRA!!"
"Mmmmm~"
"Unnn, do you like it? Do you like it when I ride you hard and fast?"
"MmmmYes..."
Dream Ven grinned and then raised his hand and swung-

-SLAP!

"OW!" Terra cried, snapping out of it. "Bitch," He grumbled sourly as he rubbed his cheek. And it was just getting good too!

"How do we keep getting on the subject of sex?!" Aqua said from the other side, shaking her head as she took her bowl. Men really did have one-track minds!

Sora smiled as he received his, about to happily dig in when he heard his brother. His cheeks went bright red at the accusation. "NO!" He stirred his meal, looking at the yellowish goop. "Kirlia gave it to me... and er 'told' me that me, you and Roxas have to read it. she gave a letter mom wrote to dad too..." He looked up at Ven, "I think they're supposed to be... mom's final words to us."

Fuu shook her head, eating the pudding quietly as she blushed. This was going to be a very interesting mission...

Ven blinked when he listened to Sora. Mom's... last words? He frowned, blue eyes rolling down to look at the steaming goop that was handed to him. It really smelt amazing... and Axel was known to make great food since he was experienced with how to use the fire but... just remembering her laying there... not moving except a weak smile. She couldn't say a word... and what was worse was that she knew she wasn't going to make it.

Why hadn't she wrote to them then?

Slowly he sighed and raised his bowl over to Terra. "I'm not so hungry anymore... Maybe I'll go to sleep too."

Axel pouted, watching the blonde crawl behind Terra and get under the covers.............. WHERE THEY JUST STALLING FROM EATING HIS FOOD!? There wasn't anything wrong with it!
He stuck a spoon in his and took a big bite before smiling. Nope! Came out perfect!

Riku frowned as he watched Ven, glancing at Sora. He had never seen Ven so touchy about something... but it really seemed like he was close to his mom more than any of the other triplets. He had to question why. He always seemed like he'd be the rebel and wouldn't let his mother baby him.

Maybe that was why... maybe he wouldn't let his mom baby him and now he regretted it.

[Reno]

Terra looked back at his lover in concern, then glared at Sora accusingly. Why did he have to bring that up?! The moment he had the brunette's attention he waved behind him indicating the blond, and mouthed 'Did you have to?!"
Sora just shrugged making a few wild arm movements as if to say he didn't mean to then mouthed right back, "He had to find out eventually!'
Terra pointed at the full bowl sitting next to him and simply rose an eyebrow.
The smaller brunette shrugged again. Not that he didn't care, but he knew Ven was incredibly stubborn and if he didn't want to do him nothing in the world could coax him into it. 'He'll live!'

The gym leader rolled his eyes but sighed, shoving a spoonful in his mouth irritably. "I thought you just said you didn't want me getting fat, Ven!"

Sora sighed poking at his food too, not even bothering to look up at his fiance. The mention of his mother made his stomach deflate as well, no matter how good it smelled. The thing was... it just... ugh! "I'm gonna take a walk." The brunette said with a sigh, but when he noticed Axel's aghast stare he smiled in slight reassurance. "I'll take my dinner too. It might like to see a bit of the world before being eaten."

He stood and walked off, whistling for Raichu considering Jolteon was having fun with Haunter and his siblings, and Luxray was still trying to catch Mightyena's attentions. The mouse's ears picked up and he put the empty flower in his mouth before hurriedly running after.

"I figured you wouldn't mind me riding you..." Ven muffled as he sighed, burying his face into the pillow. His chest tightened a few times as the images of his mom in the hospital came and went, the feeling to cry sweeping over him when he pushed it back. He was still having a hard time realizing that she was permanently gone. Sure, she was there in his heart but... he'd never see her big smile again... only being able to remember it. Her warmth was gone... only remembering a hug... and now he couldn't even deal with it right.

No, instead he had to save the world that took his mom away from him to begin with.

He shook his head, tears forming around the edge of his eyes. Maybe he should walk with Sora too... but maybe he wanted some alone time. Ugh... he hated this...

Axel glared at Sora when he heard that he was going for a walk. He didn't make his rare specialty for himself, dammit! But Sora announced that he'd take it, making him sigh softly and nodded. When Sora left, he looked around the camp with a smile. "So, how is it?"

"Different..." Fuu stated, taking another bite. "But tasty."

Riku, unfortunately was silent as he watched his lover walk off. He knew this was going to be a hard time for the three... and it seemed to be harder because they all dealt with it differently. He too was debating if he should go after his fiance... but space was important as well. If he remained out there after dinner, he would go and find him.

[Reno]

"It's not bad," Aqua added as she ate some more. It was incredibly sweet, and the smell brought some old memories back. "Reminds me of Christmas Eve night." That gained her some curious looks and she shrugged,
"Well... back in Canaclave, every year my mother would throw this huge Christmas dinner party. There was more food on the table that night then there was on Christmas! And my dad would always whip up these delicious desserts... They were always really sweet like this."

Terra forgoed answering as well, looking back at the blonde laying in their back, hearing the light sniffle every now and again. He frowned, shifting some and reached his hand out, rubbing the others back some.

"So, it's that Pikachu huh?" Sora teased as he sat against a wall, taking the empty stem from Raichu, holding it up with a smile. "She loves me, huh?"
"Raiiiii~" The mouse blushed a little, fiddling with the long, thin line of his tail.
Sora grinned, "Well then, I guess I'll have to call Eskel and let him know we're interested in adopting."
The swirled ears perked up, brown eyes wide and hopeful. "Rai?!"
"Of course~ If she likes you back naturally."
"Rai! Raichu!" The mouse jumped into Sora's lap, hugged him tightly.

Sora chuckled, giving him one in return. "And as celebration - here!" He held out the spoon to the mouse, revealing his second reason why he called out the mouse rather than anyone else. Raichu loved sweet foods, to the point he and Riku had to kick him out of the kitchen whenever they had Pecha berries around for making muffins or pancakes!
The mouse grinned, making himself comfortable on his master's lap as he took the spoon and started to lick it up, the bowl being placed on the brunette's knees for whenever he wanted more.

"You know..." He said softly, not minding if Raichu was listening or not. "Is it bad to feel so... jealous? I mean... mom and dad always gave Ven and Roxas more attention, 'cause they always got into more trouble. Whenever Ven failed a test he got scolded then mom would spend an extra hour with him with his homework. Whenever Roxas fell asleep in class he'd get grounded then mom would give him an extra story at night to help him fall asleep." He sighed, running his fingers on his Pokemon's head.
"Chaa~" Raichu said happily as he was pet, getting out another scoop of pudding.
"Now they even got to see mom before she left... All I've got is that book and all I want to do is read it; and what makes me really angry is I know she wanted us to read it together, and that could take... take years for Ven and Roxas even to want to! How..." Sora shook his head, feeling frustrated.

"You know, when I was a kid I used to think... that the only reason I was born was to make everyone else happy, make everything else simpler. I used to think that when I was a kid, though that was why I looked so different from my twins. I felt like an alien sometimes. So I hardly got in trouble, always got good grades, always followed the rules, always tried to cheer people up... and I always tried to pretend I didn't care when I felt left out." He sniffed, rubbing a hand under his eye as his voice started to choke up and tears started to form.
"Chuuu..." Came a sad noise, a spoon full of pudding held up to him.
The sight of it made Sora laugh some, "Sugar's the cure to all right?"
"Raichu!" The mouse nodded.
He laughed, more tears falling before he closed his mouth around the spoon, disregarding the dozens and dozens of times Riku told him not to eat off the same spoon as his Pokemon, and drank the sweet liquid. It made him feel just a little bit better.

"I think they're the ones jealous now..." A voice came from the darkness but it didn't frighten the brunette... shocked him though, yes. An arm wrapped around the shorter's shoulders, a ring seeming to glow in the moonlight before silver strands of hair fell onto Sora's shoulders. The smaller frame was pulled close against a strong chest. "Sora... you're a good person. Don't think that all your efforts are in vane."

Aquamarine eyes looked up at the moon, a smile running over pale lips. "If I never met you... I'd still be Gethin... a man running away from himself and looking for someone who doesn't even exist. I'd be pulling myself further and further away from humanity and end up alone...not caring about things I should. Sora... meeting you... was the best thing that happened to me..."

A hand took his lover's chin and pulled his face up so they could look at each other. "I love you..." The fingers moved up, wiping the tears away as lips descended and pressed against the others. When they pulled away, his arms ran down lower to wrap around Sora's waist. "Ven knows you have the book... so tell Roxas tomorrow. Ask them if they would like to read it and if now... if not now.... ask if you can because you're ready. Because you didn't get your last good-bye. I know your mom wanted you all to read it but she knows you all... and she knows that it might not happen. For all you know... the first pages you read is her only talking to you... because she knows you, Sora... she never needed to give you the extra times she did with your brothers... because you were different."

He paused before nodding. "Being different makes you special... not left out. I learned that from someone..."

Sora was just returning the spoon to his friend;s hands when he heard the voice, gazing towards the far end of the forest trial, watching as a silverette came out and started to glitter in the moon. He sniffled again as the other came closer, leaning against him willingly.

He listened to the other quietly, his eyes watering more as the other told him that he'd made a huge difference in his life. Riku had never... said anything like that to him before. At that moment those words were more powerful than the I love you and the kiss that followed. Unknowingly, Riku had just wiped away one of Sora's fears that he had kept hidden away even after they had become officially engaged. Sure, engagement was a big commitment, but so was living together and they had really screwed that up. But by telling him how much he appreciated him, how much he meant to him... it told Sora something he didn't readily know before - Riku needed him, like he needed Riku.

And nothing in the world was going to tear them apart this time.

Sora lent against Riku more, hearing the rest of what he had to say and he nodded. That was true he was ready to read the diary, if for nothing else, to find some sort of closure between himself and his mother. He needed that more than his brothers, because it was something that fate had taken away from him. "You're right... about everything. Thank you Riku."

He lent up giving him a sweet kiss and wondering in the back of his mind what he ever would of done without him. If for nothing else, at least Riku was always there to let him know he was always wanted.

A lightning bolt tail slapped him lightly , breaking the two apart. "Chu!" Cried an offended mouse, stuffing his face with pudding. What about him?! He gave him sugar!
"Haha, you helped too Raichu." Sora shook his head, petting him on the head to calm him.

Riku laughed as he saw the mouse become rather offended. Sora's Pokemon were funny like that. Well... they all were. What they all had to realize was that they were all living in the Pokemon's world... not the other way around. These creatures were strong and like they were seeing now... could cause a lot of damage. They needed to keep a balance just like the ancient people wrote in books. Balance was the key...

"We should head back. We still have awhile to travel and some detective work tomorrow." He smiled as he suddenly swooped Sora up, making Raichu have to jump to he ground and catch the sweet treat. "Come one, Rai!" He laughed as he called the mouse by his nickname before carrying his lover back to the camp.

When they reached it, they saw that the couples were snuggling close to their loved ones, some whispering softly while others started to snooze off into a land that would hopefully be better than what they were dealing with now. He placed Sora down on their sleeping bag before looking around, seeing that Jolteon hadn't returned. When he turned though, he saw a large ghost lean in and lick the yellow fox... without paralyzing it. Instead, a bunch of hearts burst around them before Jolteon barked and came running back to the camp.

"HAU HAU!" The ghost laughed and waved before more hearts came from him... then he disappeared.
"Miiis..." Another ghost rolled her eyes before looking down at Umbreon.... before quickly looking away.
It was time for night patrol again...

The two lovers got into bed, getting comfortable under the moon above. They had to wonder... what tomorrow would bring. Would they be going forward... or would another disaster bring them back. They were hoping the first... because not many could deal with more bad news.


When morning came, the camp was a bit more cheerful. Axel had made a large pot of coffee, this time being happy that EVERYONE had some. Ventus was still quiet than normal... and Roxas was still kind of held back. Either way, everyone was hoping that the next town didn't have bad news about somewhere in the world. Who knew what seven pissed off legendaries could do... or if anymore had become ticked.

Their first clue of the day was the weather. Angry clouds seemed to roll through the sky and they knew they were nowhere close to Mt. Coronet in which the sky never looked very friendly due to Giratina. Hopefully these clouds were natural... and had nothing to do with Zapdos this time.

As they began to eat their light breakfast, Riku nudged his lover. When he got his attention, he motioned over to Roxas who was handing Flareon some berries.

[Reno]

"Whoa!" Sora called in surprise as he was lifted off the ground laughing as he wrapped his arms securely around Riku, "Practicing for the wedding?" He teased, nuzzling his face against the other's neck. Wedding right... he couldn't wait for the day things calmed down and they could finally settle down.

At the camp, everyone settled in for the night, Pokemon and people alike (except their night patrol). Jolteon and Raichu settled down with their master and his lover, Mightyena laid across Terra and Ven, glaring at Luxray all the while until the lion sulked and went to sleep by the stream. Zan happily kept his two masters warm as they bedded down on either side of him. And Flareon, strangely, jumped into bed with Fuujin and Aqua just to say hello but ended up falling asleep there.

It was a fairly peaceful night, though cool, forcing the couples to cuddle just a little closer for the night.


Morning did not make the prospects look any better. One look at the sky had Terra, Aqua and Ven all remembered a day long ago when they nearly lost themseleves over a cliff. From the negative energy in the sky, it made Jolteon, Raichu and Luxray all restless and unfriendly enough to everyone else that Sora had to feed them quickly before recalling them. It wasn't their fault - storms could have an adverse effect on electric types if the charge was opposite of them.

Other than that the morning was perfectly harmless - in fact their seemed to be more cheer on most people's faces particularly Axel's as he handed out cup after cup of coffee (and was only slightly offended when Riku declined any due to his deep distaste for the caffeine-inducing liquid). He had tea instead.

They were halfway through the meal when Sora felt the nudge. He glanced at his lover then across at where he was indicating his brother. He swallowed a little nervously, setting his fork back on his plate. "Hey... Rox?"
"Yes Sora?" The blonde asked as he held a berry high and moved it in a circle, Flareon standing on her hind legs and also dancing around in a circle in. It made him smile and for her trick he gave her the berry.
"I wanted to talk to you... about something." The blonde looked at him curiously, and noticed Sora giving a strange look to Ven. "Well, before we left...Kirlia gave me something of mom's for us. Something I think she wanted us to read."
"...And?" Roxas asked confusedly, trying to get where his brother was getting at.
"It was her diary." The blonde stared blankly but the brunette continued. "I mentioned it to Ven last night and... I don't think he's ready to read it yet. And if your not either that's fine but... I want to. And I just wanted to make sure that was okay-" He quickly glanced at Ven. "With both of you."

Everyone seemed to stop when Sora started to speak.. and listened even though it wasn't their business. Ven frowned as he continued to eat, pretending that Terra wasn't looking at him. However, when he felt eyes on him, he sighed and irritable one. "I don't care.... go ahead." There, he said something and now everyone could be fucking dandy! He was told never to read that book even when Roxas found it laying around one day...

It still felt weird to break a vow... especially from his mother and MORE SO now that she was....

He swallowed down his piece hard before taking a sip of coffee to wash it down.
What if Kirlia was wrong? What if.... Ugh.... Kirlia was never wrong. She was almost as goody-2-shoes as Sora... maybe even more so! But why would mom want them to read something that she never did before?
It didn't make sense to him...

Axel blinked as he looked at Roxas, seeing the emotions playing on his face. His green eyes then rolled to look at Sora, giving him a soft smile. It was nice for Sora to ask... and give those options. He probably wouldn't be that cunning. Then again, he was an only child---
A frown turned his smile upside down before he looked away, watching Arcy and Ty talk to one another. He was an only child because... Reno left... and joined the Rockets... to become a horrible person.
