The Chasers: The Key to Memories Past

[Reno]

"Well," Lucina said in a smug way after Roxel had finished and they had been allowed to absorb the information. "Looks like we were going the right way all along." Most of them gave the girl a curious look and she had to explain about what happened yesterday. Most of them were shocked to learn about finding Sammy's father. But...

"That is not necessarily correct." Kadaj spoke up, earning him an angry look from the blond. He shook his head and explained, "Sammy is not the only one with lost relatives. I am still technically missing 'brothers'. Namine knows not where her grandparents are. And even if we were to narrow the term down to parents... Fuujin and Seifer would be still counted as well. And I would gather that if Adrielle Umi was cut down by a heartless and the heartless are now gone, she should have returned now as well."

There was a choking sound, drawing attention to the bluette, as Aqua lost her air. She coughed some and managed to shout out, "W-What?!"
"It is a mere hypothesis but I believe that is what occurred..." The man explained.
The eldest woman had no words as she slumped against the wall. Because he was right. Her mom had died by the hands of a heartless and now... "Well shit..." She was... OLDER than her now!
"Wait, wait!" Seifer spoke up, shaking his head. "If THAT'S true then why are the other organization members showing up as dead?"
"Possibly because we are searching for Nobodies when we would be looking for a human."
"I though those searches went too fast..." Lucina mumbled but it was easy to catch her voice.
"If that is the case," Kadaj said, "Then Tensai is not showing up because we are searching for a keyblader."

She nodded and looked at Sanyi, giving him a warm smile before tilting her head and thinking. "That reminds me, Lucina... I totally forgot about the DNA thing Ven came up with." She turned to her leader and smiled. "Do you think that you can find dead relatives?"
Some eyebrows went up at the odd question. Why would they want to look for a dead relative.
It was confirmed that they never tried it before...but it could be possible.

"Then it's simple!" She chimed as she walked over to the Research Room. "The phoenix said that he was in a place that he once was, right? A world far away? Well we know from the memories that Tensai had only been on two worlds, technically. He was from Destiny...which is definitely not far away from here and then there was his REAL home world...which is a world we never saw before so it must be out there further than what we ventured off into."

Olette giggled when she heard Sanyi beside her look dumbfounded, whispering something that he was sure no one would hear but blushed when he heard her giggle.

"Sooooooooo, if this thing can find dead people...we just need to find where Charlie Wish was buried."

[Reno]

Sanyi shook hier head as Namine spoke, mumbling under his breath, "I have a crush on a crazy girl..." His cheeks went bright red when he heard the older woman laughing beside him. Oops... no one was supposed to hear that!

But Namine made a good point. If they couldn't find Tensai by his keyblade any longer then... his DNA was the next best shot. It wasn't as if they had Ven here to change the specifics of his searches - they'd been relying on his old technology for years as no one had the knowledge on how to change it even if they needed to.

They all looked towards Namine in silence as she changed the specifics of Tensai's search and started it. The computer whirred to life and started to look. And it took longer this time names of words spinning on the screen faster than could be read. Well by most of them but some of them had eyesight that went way beyond human capability. Kadaj had to look away, rubbing his temple as it started to give him a headache, overworking his eyes like that.

There was a long silence, some of the Chaser's moving uneasily as the time dragged on... and on... and on... Twenty minutes passed and then the computer finally binged as it finished.

Eyes tentatively looked at the screen.

Lucina smirked. "Well, well~ Look who was right again."

After awhile...Namine was worried that she might of broken Ven's old computers. She knew he would come and haunt her for killing all his years of hard work! Gunnar too had to look away and rub his eyes. Sometimes, being able to see better wasn't always an advantage.

When it beeped however, more than one person was relived for multiple reasons.

Namine's eyes widened and Fuu rubbed her arm, remembering the night before.
Well damn...
Sammy could only smile as he looked at Lucina, all boasting and puffing her chest out.

"So it says Charlie Wish is the only relative that it could pick up and it says that he's located in the Connection 129." That was a long ways away. She looked back at Lucina, a bit confused, as were most. They didn't know about the little incident that occurred the night before.
Sammy decided to explain.
'Lucina and I were looking to see if any of my relatives could still be alive now that the worlds have their hearts again. We found out that...' His hands halted before be started again. 'That my father is still alive. He too is located in Connection 129."

"Than that has to be it!"
Namine looked at Seifer before frowning. "WELL!? GET WORKING!"

[Reno]

"Jesus are all you woman on this damn ship so demanding?!" Seifer grumbled loudly as he stopped to his chair, making some of the so called women yell in protest and a few guys chuckle.

Only Sanyi was wondering something similar. Next to the stories he heard about Miss Aqua - she was quite well-known in the region from her 'Goddess' status and her odd behavior that most teachers used to deter them from behavior like hers. Of course, when they learn she ended up having a keyblade, protected all the dragons AND saw the Divine dragon and lived, a lot of woman had tried to be stronger. Many failed - it was just too hard not to fall into the rules of society. But they tried.

He just never realized....He would like that in a woman. He sighed hearts in his eyes as he watched Namine. Wow what a woman!

Kadaj glanced at Gunnar curiously but like the others excited as the new news was revealed. It still was not certain Tensai was physically there - but there was now more of this 'hope'. They would figure out what to do from there if he was not; they always did.

Lucina smiled and took Sammy's hand in hers, rubbing along his knuckles comfortingly. "So after we get Tensai we can go see your dad." She felt a little bit of fear run through her, lent up whispering softly. "Don't worry, it's going to be fine. I promise." Though they had seen very little of Sammy's dad in the memories he obviously desired very much to see her and she bet that only grew more when he was aware he had a son.

Aqua sighed in relief glancing at her wife with a smile. They were going to have him back. She didn't realize, when on average when they still had Balder and she hardly saw him once a week as it was, that she could possibly miss him or worry about him this much. She had lost too many people who were close to her recently... her brother, technical 'brother-in-law', her best friend...

Her son was just too much. Short of losing Fuu, she probably would of lost her mind.

Moxley looked back and forth between the Chasers his tail started to wag in excitement as he recognized the syllables of his master's name and the happy tones of the others. That was a good sign!

The whole ship shook and nearly everyone was ready to cheer.
Aqua looked at Olette, smiling teasingly. "Where's your 'let's celebrate'?"

Olette could only giggle as she looked at Aqua. "We haven't found Tensai yet!"


Course was set and their auto pilot was set in high speed. Even so, hardly anyone could tell except for Gunnar and Kadaj who could hear the gears and things working harder than usual. It was all blocked out as they grew use to it though and another day went by. Now with hope, things started to settle and minds could be at ease.
At least for some of them.

Light red hair shifted as hazel eyes looked out, seeing a blue haired boy in the same gaze he had been a few nights before. Lost in his own thoughts. She knew it wasn't in her place once again to interrupt his thought but being a princess of hearts...she had this need to make sure everyone was alright.

"Sanyi? Don't worry... we'll find Tensai." She smiled only to blinked as he seemed to be started and looked back at her, his cheeks flushed.


Purple eyes scanned the screen, seeing dress upon dress that all seemed to look the same to him...but the woman next to him seemed to be studying them as if there were hug differences. Olette had made a big fuss on why her wedding dress wasn't good enough but it was explained that ORANGE wasn't for everyone. Then there was Aqua who told her to make one like she had but it wasn't like Lucina knew how to sew.

So, they were looking at all the shops in Twilight Town and Delshad who had a website to see what kind of dresses they had. Everything could be tailored for her and seeing that they both agreed getting married in the same place as Lucina's parents had been married was where they were going to as well. The problem was, Lucina wanted the colors to be purple and green... in which Gunnar commented on if 'Barney' was having his wedding too.

Lucina smacked him out of the room and locked the door, tired of people not helping. Sammy could only guess who this 'Barney' guy was.


In another section of the ship, a cell phone was turned off before a pin was entered and the door opened. Gunnar walked into the old chamber that was now his and Kadaj's room, a smile on his face from who knows what. He stopped dead, seeing Kadaj stripping to put on something more cooler due to the boiler room so close. A grin ran over the brunette's face as he walked over slowly, wrapping his arms around a bare waist. "Why don't you just keep it off~~~?" He spoke into the other's ear softly before sucking on the lobe.

He pulled away slightly, leaning his head on his lover's shoulder. "Hmm...have you thought of where you'd want to live after we find Ten?" The question was a bit hesitant...as if he though they weren't truly over with this life...

[Reno]

Cheeks darkened some as he was caught lost in thought once again. Better ears and yet he still wandered off into the crystal palace - as his mom liked to say to explain him daydreaming too much. "Oh I know Miss Namine." He said. "I have little doubt anymore about the capabilities of this team."

His golden gaze turned out into the starlight. Though there sure were... many stars... and many places for Tensai to hide. It was rather scary - he had no idea how the team did not break under the pressure of this mission (if he had seen what they had gone through since the beginning, he would understand).

"And it is certainly exuberant to see Roxel in a better mood; it was so terribly sorrowful how pained he was. And you too Miss Namine. You are glowing now, and talking more. He certainly... makes a lot of difference up here..." Sanyi trailed off, a bit of longing in his tone.

"I guess I am just sad that... just when I have begun to get settled in my new home, gotten used to constant meals and a warm bed, and have the possibility of truly making friends and being part of a new family..." His voice trailed off to a bare whisper. "I will lose everyone once you disband."

He turned his head away from her... because he could not believe tears were filling in his eyes.


"You know, I always heard that finding the perfect wedding dress was really hard!" Lucina spoke up for the first time in awhile. She had been so intent on studying the dresses. "I thought what I wanted was really simple!"

She lent back in her chair waving her hands some. "Thin straps, no train, something that won't touch the floor, some beads but not too many, maybe a nice floral design..." She trailed off, seeing wide eyes staring at her. "Okay I am a little picky!"

She laughed softly though, smiling up at him. "The good thing is I suppose, we don't have to worry about not being able to afford anything. I certainly have enough money from my old swear jar. Oh wait..." No she didn't. It was in Balder. And Balder was...

Damn you Kuku!

"I guess we're actually broke!" She laughed.


Having your own room was great. But he really missed controlled temperature. Less sweat - and in most rooms one's own bathroom.

Green eyes dilated some as he heard the other sneaking up on him, smiling at his 'attempt' to be unheard. He found it endearing and let the other do as he willed because - "Mmmmmmmmm~" Gunnar tended to do nice things when he did.

He relaxed against the broader, strong chest, but the question made him think, feeling the uncertainty and fear run through him. He knew the change would be much harder for Gunnar than for himself. "I have considered it some. I know I do not wish to return to my home." He felt a bit of surprise, but a tinge of understanding. That world did have some of Kadaj's worst memories - in fact, the only real good memories he had from there were the few (very few) nice things his brothers ever did for him. The really good memory he had was... meeting the man currently holding him. And he was the one to get him off of that world.

But, though that was certainly something because Kadaj was still human and when he felt something or someone had 'wronged' him he turned out to avoid it for a time just like anyone else, that was not the only reason.

"I rather like eating." He said, "It is a sensual gift. And I've found I have become rather good at cooking, thanks to Roxas." He thought about it for a short time and added, "And I do not think I could survive without my sexual drive." He felt shock and he turned his head, smiling some up at the brunette. "I did not touch you just because my brother was around Gunnar. My world has more hindering qualities then I first knew."

He chuckled softly, the sound low and endearing, a hand reaching up and running along Gunnar's cheek and turning his head some so they were staring at each other. His Mako eyes were darker than before. "I would miss this." He murmured before leaning up and kissing him.

Namine listened to the young berserker, frowning as he seemed to be rather longing. It was when he said his last bit, her heart started to ache for him. The poor thing... She would never know how he actually felt but she could guess it would be so hard. But she knew it. Sunil seemed to as well. Sanyi could never live a life like this for the remaining of his life. He had a duty to perform. He was a berserker...and he had to protect the people and dragon of his region.

She could only smile, if not weakly. "Don't worry, Sanyi... Aqua and Fuu promised that you will not be alone. I am sure that meant that they too will be living in Dragoon...and... I'm sure everyone will visit too. Besides, with Aqua there...she can change things like her father tried to. Maybe living conditions wont be so bad?"

She slowly crawled over, getting into his bed before coming closer to him. "Besides...I might just....live there too...."


Sammy tilted his head as she started to go on about dresses. He didn't understand one thing she was talking about. He didn't even know the trouble he got himself into with this! All he knew was how to purpose thanks to Riku.

However, when she talked about her jar, he knew exactly what she meant. When he first joined the team, it was something she was very proud of. Strangely enough, she had raised thousands of dollars since he saw a child. It wasn't a bad idea at all and it was even better when Gunnar stopped stealing some money from it once he found something else to occupy his time...

He only smiled at her softly, seeing how joyful she still was even knowing she had lost so much money. It made him feel....so good. She loved him more than thousands of dollars...
He leaned in as she looked at him, their lips pressing together softly before he pulled away.

His hand suddenly sparked and a purple flame arose, catching Lucina's attention before he just seemed to drop it onto the floor. It melted and a black hole appeared, an ancient symbol glowing before a headless creature appeared. He knew Lucina knew that these creatures would not harm her but he still felt a small flick of fear. She had never been so close to one of his servants before.
However, the breast seemed to pull something out of the hole with it. A large jar that held the many shining pieces of Munny.

Lucina was shocked as Sammy took her old jar and gently handed it to her.
"I made sure it was in good hands..." He spoke softly as the servant slowly disappeared into ashes.


Gunnar's eyes widened. Sexual...? WAIT!? They couldn't have SEX if they lived on Gaia!? There was NO way they were living there then! NO FUCKING----
"Mmmmmnnn...." He moaned into their kiss, his own eyes becoming dark as his fingers started to rub the thin pelvic region as he deepened the kissed.

The young shepherd wiped at his eyes discretely as Namine came close - be a man damn it! - and he swallowed the thickness that had gathered in his throat as she spoke. She was right... at least his moms would stay with him. And the others visiting would be nice though he doubted they'd ever come to see him and-

and what?!

He turned his head staring at Namine with wide eyes. "B-B-But why?" He stuttered, not unhappy just... confused. "Why would you leave all this to live... there?"


She couldn't help but start in surprise when the headless creature appeared. She could not help but be a little unnerved with the headless sight of it - it was a silly human reaction she hoped one day to break away from - but her eyes went wide at the sight of her swear jar. No way!

She stared at it soundlessly, before smiling as Sammy explained. She set it down before moving to hug him, kissing him softly. "Sammy you are the most wonderful and most thoughtful man I have ever known." It wasn't the money that was making her happy though... it was the gesture and the care. He knew how proud she was of her idea from childhood and wanted to protect that.

He really was perfect.


"Nnn~" Glowing eyes lidded and a mouth opened, giving access to a strong muscle to rub against his own. The slighter man shuddered, running his fingers through dark hair and when they broke away they were both panting lightly, lips more red then before. Despite liking how that hand was moving along his body he turned away from it so his body faced the taller.

He didn't initiate this type of play very often - though that didn't mean he did not end up on top - so this was a real treat for Gunnar.

Kadaj smirked slightly before moving down to the strong neck, sucking down on a patch of skin he knew was sensitive. He was his tonight~

Namine giggled when she saw the wide eyes but she shook her head. "Hey! You said that you were going to protect and what good would that do if I wasn't around you?" She smiled as she tilted her head, seeming to look away as she went into deeper thought. "Besides... I could teach the kids how to play Blitzball. Then they could be like....normal kids. Get their mind off of...being hungry and cold all the time. People need hobbies and things to cherish to get them through things and even with the love of the dragons... they still need something....more. Any bit of fun, I know, will help them. Life if to be enjoyable...and I want to make a difference."

Sammy smiled as he kissed her back softly. He looked back at the screen with all the dresses. Sure, it was a bit of a headache with all her told that he didn't understand...but the look in her face and eyes were that of pure joy. He could only wish that he royalties to put into this wedding...to make it that much more great for her. He knew though... that if it was nothing but just her and him...it would be perfect.
"No, it is you, princess... that you must be grateful for. Since you are the one who let me into your life..."

"Mmmmmnnnaahhh..." Gunnar moaned as the kiss grew deeper, his tongues tasting every part of his lover as if it was the first time. It had been awhile. Maybe not....really but it felt like it. And for once...even if he was sure they would reach the new connection in a day or so...he didn't have to worry that tomorrow he could lose this man. When they broke away, his eyes lidded as he whispered. "Kadaj...."

He pulled the other down into the bed, feeling the weight on him before he head leaned back. He moaned softly as he felt the kisses on his neck, the sensation running down his torso, abs, pelvic and groin. Strong fingers ran down the colder, tight yet soft skin of the other's waist before pulling up, feeling Kadaj's spine. "Haa....I love you..."

The young teen could not help but smile at her words, looking at her with bright eyes now. He truly had never seen such sincerity. "Your heart is made of gold miss Namine."


Cheeks flushed lightly but Lucina smiled, nuzzling their noses together. "We were always meant to be a part of one another's lives~" That she could definitely believe... the Thym had predicted their meeting before either of them could spell the word 'destiny'.


Kadaj followed after as he was tugged towards the bed, draping his body over the other's as they found the bed. He went right back to work, running lips lips and tongues along the shuddering neck, tasting a taste that was just... Gunnar. "Mmmm~" His body arched as the hands ran up his spine, their bodies rubbing against each other deliciously.

At those words his pupils turned into slits and he grinned, shifting his body so he was straddling Gunnar's hips before he moved his head, liquid silver tickling a slightly darker tanned cheek. "I love you too~" He murmured against the other's ear before licking the shell of and he pushed his hips down, their pelvises grinding together. "Mmmmmmm!"

Namine giggled again and shook her head. "Nooooo, I don't." She sighed softly before looking back at him, their faces close. "Ever since I joined the chasers, I gave up my life dream to become a Blitzball professional Blitzball player. I just want to see someone.... maybe reach that instead. Actually...I just want to see someone reach one of their life dreams...and when I was on Dragoon...I could see the look in some of those kids eyes. I want to see them do what they really want..."


Sammy smiled as they exchanged the eskimo kiss. When they finished, he nodded. It was true. Of all the things his mother had predicted...this was the best one. Slowly he looked back at the screen before smiling. "The dress is the most important part...right?" He was hoping so...


"A-aaH!!" Gunnar shuddered as he felt those hips roll down on him, his own twitching before rolling back up. Damn him with clothes! "Haaaa....Kadaj...." He whimpered, his fingers running down the fair skin. They came to his thighs, rubbing them sensually before moving in a bit more, feeling those curly, thick silver hairs.

The blue-haired teen's eyes went wide as Namine came close and his head went fuzzy - what was she saying? What had they been talking about...? - and he swallowed thickly as her melodious voice stopped.

He didn't know why he did it. If his father found out he was doing this like some shameful boy in the haystack of barn he would be shamed for life. But... But he could not help it. She was just too alluring.

He lent forward and experienced his very first kiss with this beautiful woman.


"No, No, you and I are~" She said in a romantic way, eyelashes fluttering - then she giggled, her smile teasing. "But the dress ranks second."


Green eyes watched the other closely, a smirk playing on the man's lips. Mmmm Gunnar was truly a sight like this. He was nibbling along the other's jaw when he felt the wandering hands. And he was the impatient bottom?

He balanced himself on his knees and reaching down, grabbing the hands in his own, pulling them away. "Tsk, tsk. Trying to hurry me up? I feel adventurous today."

Kadaj lent closer, his eyes dark. "I just got my hands back." His lips came close to the other's, whispering passionately, "I'm going to explore every inch of you Gunnar~" Then he sealed their mouths together, plunging his tongue in to dance with another. His fingers rubbed along the skin of the younger's knuckles before pinning them on the bed. His fingers continued to move, running along strong forearms and pushing up sleeves to feel the muscular upper arms.

Namine smiled as she finished but the look on Sanyi was stunned. Had she...said something wro---
Hazel eyes shot open wide was the boy leaned in and she felt soft lips on his own.
OHMYGODOHMYGODOHMYGODOHMYGODOHMYGOD!!! She froze in place. She was NOT kissing a...a boy! There was nothing right about it! Nothing at all but....he was so cute and sweet and....well of course! He's too old enough to be a jerk like Gunnar!

But she knew he would never turn into a jerk. Her eyes slowly lidded as she gave in, replying gently. This too was her first kiss. Her parents would be so disappointed in her if they ever found out she was kissing a minor... but why was something so wrong....feeling so right?


The clouded mind snapped out of it as his hands were stopped. He looked up at the other, his mouth gaped slightly as he panted. "N-no...I wasn't even thinking..." He admitted as his lover came closer, just the look in his eyes making him aroused. At the beautiful voice, he wanted to moan but it was clogged as a powerful tongue came into his mouth and they began to battle passionately. "Mmmmmmmnnnnn~~~" His body tingled as he felt the fingers on his skin. They were so cold they sent goosebumps down his arm that ran over his chest as well.

The kiss broke, their panting growing harder as Gunnar's cheeks grew darker, eyes a different shade as they looked into the other. "Kadaj..." He gasped, feeling as if it was the only thing he could say. The only thing he wanted to say.

OOC: Sorry hon ended up getting sick and fell asleep in the bathroom

The teen waited in tense anticipation, wondering if she was going to respond - was she every going to?! - maybe he was doing it wrong. Was there a right way to kiss a pretty girl?

Just when he was beginning to panic he felt a small pressure... and his gold eyes went wide.

She was kissing back.

She was kissing back!

Oh this was amazing! What... what next? Uh... his dad always brought his mom closer so...

He rose his arms tentatively, wrapping them around the slim form of the girl in a light embrace, shy and awkward and so very boyish. He wondered how many she had kissed. He wondered how bad he was at it.


The man looked down at the one calling for him, a slight tender smile spreading on his lips. He rubbed his hips down again, groaning low in his throat at the friction increased. It was driving Gunnar more wild because of the barrier of his clothes.

The silverette move his hands to the dark brunette's waist, pulling up the shirt that was starting to stick to the other's skin, urging the other to assist him. Soon the hindering material was gone, thrown to the side. He curled his cool hands around the shoulders, brushing them down along the path his collarbone made and rubbed along the broad, strongly built chest. He lent over the over, his lips kissing, nibbling and licking after his fingers. "Mmmhmmm~" He hummed contently, finding the other's nipples and rubbing his thumbs against them before his mouth took one's place, suckling on the little bead.
