The Tale of Seven

[Rikugurl]

Axel's green eyes picked up as he saw a heart float by his face.
What the---?
He looked up, seeing the ghost swooning over... Sora's Jolteon. Now... that was a bit odd... but... lightheartedly cute.

The ghost continued to swoon over the Jolteon, not minding the growls or the electricity. It was Sora blocking the way of his lovely fox that made him blink in confusion.
His large smile dropped dramatically as a sad looking face ran over his ghastly features. No.... pun intended.

"Hau--" He was cut off and blinked more as his mouth started to quiver. Every time Sora spoke, he flinched and grew more and more sad. When the finger was pointed at him though, he broke.
"HAUN HAU HAUNTER!" He cried out loud, tears flying out like water falls as he flailed.

"H-hey!" Ven called as he walked over. "It's just in their nature to go around and scare people and Pokemon..." He looked down and sighed. "I mean... don't yell at him. It's my fault he went out there and did that. I wasn't giving him enough attention."

The ghost sniffled as the tears stopped and he wiped some away with a claw.
The ex-Rocket looked over and frowned. "But you should still say you're sorry."
The ghost nodded and sniffled again. "Haunter. Hau hau hau haunter."

[Reno]

Sora pouted when the ghost started to cry, feeling badly as well now. He didn't mean to do THAT! Luckily before Sora could burst into tears too Ven quickly intervened and explained everything.

Sora cheered up quickly when he got the apology though, and nodded to the ghost smiling. "It's alright, but please don't do it again." He looked back at Jolteon and raised an eyebrow.
The fox looked away stubbornly. He would NOT accept the apology.
"Jolteon."
The fox sighed but got to his feet and trotted next to his master's side. He looked at the ghost then looked away. "Jolt." There, was he happy?

Haunter sniffled once more before nodding again in agreement. He wouldn't scare any of Sora's Pokemon again!
He looked down at the fox though, his face becoming sad once more at the rejection. "Haunter...." He whimpered as he got the half ass acceptance.

As this was all going on, the hooded figure stood and slowly made his way away from the camp, unseen to everyone seeing that all eyes were on the ghost and commotion. Umbreon however was gone as well.

Ven sighed before pulling out his next Pokemon, the one in which was his own. There was a flash and then a light purple cat appeared. "Spe?" She mewed as she looked around. Where was she...?
However at the sight of the nearby Jolteon, she mewed happily. "SPEE!"

[Reno]

Sora looked at Haunter's sad face and he sighed some, smiling sadly. "Ahh... Haunter I'm sorry..." Wait... wasn't Haunter... a boy ghost?
Did... ghosts even HAVE genders?

Jolteon's eyes opened when he heard a familiar yelp and he looked forward smiling happily at the sight of his sister. "Jolte!" He walked up to her, nuzzling her happily.
Sora chuckled reaching down, petting the top of the fox's head, glad to see the old friend. "Hey there Espeon!"

Glaceon looked towards them curiously, before slowly walking over, standing beside her sister. "Gla...?"
"Eon!" Jolteon looked at her and smiled licking one of her ears in greeting. That means he'd seen all of his siblings!
Sora blinked curiously, tilting his head. "That's... interesting...?"
"Not really." Aqua said as she walked over standing beside Ven. "Glaceon's his sister."
Sora looked up, and even Axel, Terra and Roxas seemed interested now. "You mean... you got an Eevee coin too?"
Aqua nodded waving a hand to the foxes. "Yep. All seven are here."
Sora looked at her thinking about that. There were the three before him... then Roxas' Flareon, Terra's Leafeon and Axel's Vaporeon... that made six.
"Wait that means..." He looked towards were Gethin had been, and his brow furrowed. "Where'd he go?"

Ven blinked as he too started to see things click. So... all the... Eevee pups were here. Everyone in this group had been the winners of the... Eevee coin contest...?

"Spee!" The Espeon cried happily as she was nuzzled by both a sister she hadn't seen since that day they were separated and his brother who she grew up with. He became a Jolteon!

Axel rose an eyebrow as he watched them over the flames before looking at Terra. "All seven of the Eevee septuplets are here together from seven different trainers from all around the world. Do you..." He stopped, realizing that Terra's answer would be... a macho hardheaded one. "Never mind..."
I wonder... if this was fate...

However when everyone looked for Umbreon, they realized that the black fox and his master was gone.
"Haunter...?" The ghost scratched his head before shrugging.
"Maybe he went to go find some more fire wood." Ven glanced over at Sora who seemed to be a bit concerned.
That was right... he remembered his brother had this... odd.... thing for this Gethin character...

[Reno]

Terra glanced at Axel, raising an eyebrow when he cut himself off. That probably meant he didn't want to hear whatever the hell he was about to say. "What are you talking about." He scoffed waving towards Ven, Sora and Roxas. "They come from the same goddamn mother, that doesn't really constitute for ALL around the world."

Sora frowned some at the answer. "Oh... y-yeah probably..." He had wanted to talk to Gethin so more... get to know him. But maybe that wouldn't be very easy. "He could of said something."

"Tch yeah because he says SO much in the first place." Roxas said with a roll of his eyes. Why did Sora sound like Gethin going to get firewood was the end of the world?!
Sora glared. "Oh shush Roxas you're quiet a lot of the time too!"
Roxas was about to respond to that when there was a pop on his belt and suddenly his lap was full... of a little red fox. "Flareon?"
The fox grinned up at him. "Flare!!!" She yipped happily before jumping off his lap and running over to her siblings. She couldn't wait for him to let her out, that could be years! "Eooooon~"

Green eyes rolled as the redhead looked away. See what he meant?
He shook his head, his red hair shifted before he spotted another flash and the cute little red fox was up and about.

"Spee!" The Espeon mewed happily as she nuzzled her youngest sister, her tail wagging happily as the gem on her forehead glew..

Axel had to smile as he reached for his belt and tossed a poke ball out, another flash of energy shinning before a mermaid fox was in front of him. His yellow webbed ears picked up a very happy reunion before he looked back, seeing his.....SIBLINGS!?
"VAPOREON!" The fox cried before he quickly rushed over, headbutting everyone.

Ventus smiled as he saw the Vaporeon come in... and not to far after... a Leafeon.
All that was missing was....
"Hey Sora..." Ven glanced at his brother before grinning, the smile looking more evil from the fire. "Why don't you go find Gethin and tell him that there's a reunion going on?"

[Reno]

Flareon laughed happily at the nuzzle from Espeon before she went ahead and tackled Glaceon. It wasn't long before Vaporeon joined the party.

Terra sighed as Axel let out Vaporeon and rolled his eyes. "Alright." He grabbed Leafeon's Pokeball and let it fly. The leaf fox appeared shaking his head and yawning in wakefulness. "Lee?" He didn't HEAR a battle going on.
"Look behind you." Terra said.
The fox blinked but turned around... and grew excited as he saw five eeveelutions all with very familiar voices that he remembered from years back. "LEE!!" He jumped up and ran over. His ears twitched before he jumped on Espeon and Vaporeon both, laughing. He was obviously the roughest of the siblings but he was welcomed in just as Vaporeon's headbutting wasn't minded. Jolteon just watched over them, smiling like the eldest he was. He knew better then trying to join in with all his spikes... he could hurt someone.

Sora looked down, smiling excitedly at seeing the six Pokemon so happy. This was really soemthing amazing... but it was missing-
He looked up at Ven cringing a little from the smile on his face. "Eer... uh o-ok..." Go... get Gethin.
Go get Gethin!! He grinned. "I mean yeah I can do that!!!" He laughed happily hurried around the campfire and into the forest. "I'll be right back!"
Jolteon blinked and looked after his master in confusion. "Jol?" His head started jerking to the left as something bit his ear and tugged. "Jol!" He batted Flareon away.
"E-e-e!" Laughed the red fox falling onto her back.

"Spee, eon, on spee!" The Espeon nuzzled the Leafeon as he came over. She was the eldest female end even having the roughest trainer of the Holani triplets, she was the most reserved and motherly like.
She mewed more as the fire fox ran around, bothering everyone. She could only chase after playfully and pawed at her tail as she fell over.

Vaporeon laughed as well as he was fallen on. "Vaaaaaa!" He yipped happily as he pawed at his sister, Glaceon, and bobbed his head in a happy dance to see her.


Down through the forest and another clearing not to far away, a hill rose over some long grass, a beautiful full moon glowing in the sky.
On the hill sat a figure, his hood now down as his silver hair blew in the night breeze, the shine from the moon making it glisten.
Next to him was the black fox, his golden rings glowing as he looked up at the moon as well.

The red eyes widened as his ears twitched, hearing something coming from the forest behind them. "Umbreon...?" He turned and looked back, seeing a brunette with untamed spikes coming into the clearing.

[Reno]

Flareon laughed some more as his tail was attacking by his eldest sister. She smiled up at the other before rolling onto her stomach and jumped up before nuzzling Espeon bitting and tugging at her ear now.

Glaceon smiled down at her brother licking his ear. Though her coat of fur was tough like Jolteon's it was easier to touch and much smoother, just freezing cold. They were all so different now!

Leafeon looked at Jolteon before smirking and walking up behind him, looking to bite his tail like he always used to. But blinked when he found... there wasn't one. He tilted his head and raised a paw, smacking Jolteon in the butt right under the row of spikes.
"JOLT!" Cried the surprised fox, jumping away. Leafeon chuckled evilly and he heard his master burst into laughter from where he sat.
Jolteon whirled around growling playfully and headbutted the other onto the grass. "Teon!"

All around the, the bystanders, their trainers and friends, watched each wearing some degree of a smile.


Sora frowned as he wandered through the forest carefully, keeping taps on his whereabouts so he didn't get lost. At the same time he studied the area carefully, looking for the tell-tale yellow glow of Umbreon's rings, knowing if he found the fox, he'd find Gethin.

It didn't take too long. The forest thinned quickly and he saw the rings. He grinned hurrying his step, not bothering to be quiet. He didn't want to startle the other.

Just as he got out of the trees, he took notice of two things. One Umbreeon was aware of his presences and two... Gethin's hood was down. Sora's breath caught as he saw that beautiful silver hair some more... getting a much better glance at it. It so perfect in the moonlight that it almost seemed to have a halo around it.

His heartbeat quickened and he swallowed hard before taking a few steps forward, finding his voice. He wondered what his face looked like? "H-Hey... I'm er sorry to interrupt..." He knew the other loved his solitude... it didn't take a genius to figure that out. That was probably why he split away from them...
Or maybe he just didn't like him...?

His heart quavered at the notion and forced him to hesitate at the bottom of the hill. "It's just... that we;re having a little reunion back there. For the Eevees... or well there not really Eevees anyMORE but eerr... ummm..." Stop sounding stupid!!! "A-A-Anyways... um... I just wanted to know if er Umbreon would like to... join them?"

Espeon blinked and closed the eye that was on the side that Flareon was tugging her ear. "Spee~~~" They all stopped when they heard their eldest brother suddenly bark and looked over, seeing what had happened.
"Vaaaa, por, por, poreon!" The water pokemon laughed as he left Glaceon's side and jumped after the grass and electric. Oddly enough... both elements were his worse nightmare but he pounced onto Leafon before tickling Jolteon's nose with his fishy tail.

Axel couldn't help but smile as he saw all the eeveelutions play together. He never thought all seven....well.......six would come together one day.

He looked out though, by the fire and saw that Ninetail still didn't stir as she slept... which was very unlike her. She should of been up and supervising the group, making sure no one was too rough...
But, there she lay, still fast asleep and now with Absol laying next to her.

"I really should of checked her when we were at the center..."
He sighed before shaking his head. He would just have to keep an eye on her until they got to the next town.


The Umbreon watched the the brunette closely, his rings fading on and off. However, the minute he heard that there was a family reunion, he yipped and looked up at his master.
"Breon?"
The figure looked over and nodded, before the black fox should down the hill and passed Sora. "Umbreon!" He called again before disappearing into the woods.

He burst through into the camp once more and his red eyes spotted all his siblings once more. "UMBREON!"

[Reno]

Leafeon laughed as he fell under the weight of his sister. Jolteon sneezed at the tail wiggling his nose to get out of the ticklish feeling.

Terra watched the six curiously, but blinked as he heard Axel's words. He looked at him, then towards the fox who had Absol almost protectively close. "Don't worry too much Axel. If something were really wrong you'd know." He did his best to comfort. Axel WAS a Pokemon rescuer and Ninetails WAS his Pokemon. He always knew when she was sick... right?

There was a pause over the forest them a happy cry that drew every eye to the other side of the forest. "FLAAAARE!" Cried Flareon happily, running forward, jumping through the fire and to the others side. She shook herself free of ash before nuzzling the fox, a little warmer than usual.

Glaceon much more carefully walked around the flames her fur dripping water some as the radiating heat made the ice crystals keeping her fur spiky melt, before she nuzzled the black fox's other side, a freezing contrast to Flareon.

Sora smiled as Umbreon ran off, hearing happy yells from the close-by camp. They were really happy to see him it seemed! His knees were shaking as he looked back towards Gethin, taking a deep uncertain breath as he started up the hill, stopping uncertainly half way there. "May I join you?" He said softly.

Umbreon smiled as he saw his sisters run over. He had always been the most... attractive with the ladies, even his sisters thought so!
"Umbre!" He yipped and he headbutted his two sisters before racing over to the others, nipping their ears as well in a hello.

Axel nodded but looked over at the group, now complete. "Wow..." He breathed softly before smiling. "You know... there are people out there that would do anything to see something like this. It's like... a world wonder. All seven evolutions of an Eevee, all in the same place and all getting along."
He pulled his legs in closer and smiled more. "I'm glad I was able to see this..."

He watched for a little longer before slowly getting up and walking around the fire to where Roxas was sitting. He slowly knelt down, leaning over Roxas's shoulder a bit. "Hey... how are you feeling?" He asked softly.


The silver hair continued to flow in the breeze as the man continued to sit and look at the moon. He could hear the grass behind him crunch under the large sneakers but it didn't bother him.
At the question though, he just nodded. "If you want to, sure."

He heard more grass being crunched before someone was by his side and slowly they sat down. The silver hair continued to flow around before he slowly turned his head, looking right at Sora.
His face was pale, lean and handsome as the silver hairs blew in it. However, that wasn't the best feature.
His eyes... reflected that of the ocean, the moon, reflecting off that.

"Beautiful night, huh?" He asked softly, his pale lips parting to whisper it out.

[Reno]

Glaceon and Flareon quickly hurried after Umbreon and in seconds all seven were together, nipping and chasing and tumbling around. Leafeon bit at tails, Flareon bugged everyone in her happy way that no one really hated, Vaporeon had a happy dance in his step, Umbreon was glowing brightly, Glaceon rubbed up against her warm-blooded companions and laughed when they shivered, and Espeon and Jolteon supervised it all in a motherly and fatherly way.

Terra rolled his eyes chuckling. "You're a sap." He said softly to Axel. He thought seeing a legendary far outranked this. It wasn't long before Axel left his side to go talk to Roxas. His eyes fell from the foxes and looked past them towards the edge of the forest, seeing Aqua there. In front of her was an orange sea otter like Pokemon - a Buizel. She murmured to it softly, but the Pokemon tilted his head and smiled nodding to what she asked. Aqua seemed overjoyed by this, holding out his Rocket ball and asking him something. The otter nodded and she threw it into the air. Buizel jumped from his spot, and twisted, water all around him before he hit the ball. It went flying and smacking into a tree, shattering upon impact.
He landed next to her, smiling. She held out a normal Pokemon and he tapped it before being sucked up in a red light. She made the ball smaller before letting it join her belt beside Glaceon's and reached for another.

He looked away from her slowly... and looked towards Ven.

Roxas watched Flareon with a faint smile that was slowly falling from his face as he remembered where they were and what was happened. As if he could feel it, Axel was suddenly there, practically... WHISPERING in his ear. "AH!" Roxas jumped back, and turned to look at Axel. "Don't do that!" He said, embaressed that he had been startled. "And... I'm fine Axel." He said softly. "I should be asking you that."


At Gethin's answer he grinned happily. That meant... that meant!!! He took a deep breath, trying to calm himself as he started to the hill, concentrating hard on the ground, struggling not to fall flat on his face. Left foot... right foot. There...he could do this!

He slowly came to the other's side, his legs shaking with fear and anticipation. He plopped down heavily beside him biting his lip as he stared at the fabric of his pants as if it was the most interesting thing in the world.
Come on now... look up. Look up. You can do it just LOOK. UP!

He swallowed brain sluggishly working with his neck muscles as he turned his head and rose it. At that same second, so easy and graceful, the other turned to look at him as well.

Sora's heart stopped. His breath caught. His eyes went wide and his jaw slackened.
This man... had to be the most beautiful thing he ever laid eyes on. From behind his hair was stunning enough, but from the front... getting a good few of all those sharp, pale features and those mesmerizer wonderful eyes... he was just completely breath-taking.

It took him a few moments to discover the stunning, gorgeous silverette had asked him a few questions. It took even more for his brain to register that he should ANSWER that question. The other was slowly starting to give him an odd look.
Sora dropped his hands to his lap, hands twisting together nervously, finding he could not speak when looking at him. "I-I-I uh er... y-yes?" He peeked out of the corner of his eye, seeing the other still seemed a little surprised at his very oddball reaction.

"It's just you're..." Sora started to say, before he stuttered out the words. "V-V-Very p-pretty."
A pause as the teen processed those words - just as he did Sora realized what he had said and gasped in horror and slapped himself in the face, knowing words like those were punishable by a punch to the gut. He looked at the other, panicked, not wanting to offend him, hands flailing before twisting into his necklace. "I-I mean not pretty like a GIRL or anything but I uh mean er..."
SHIT! He couldn't think when he looked at him! The brunette hurriedly drew his gaze away towards the darkness of the night, groaning and bringing his knees up, burying his head in them. "I did NOT just say that." He mumbled into his clothes, voice slightly muffle but not hard to hear in the quietness of the night.
"I'm sorry I'm a total idiot... You can hit me now if you want." He said second later.

Axel's eyes widened as he heard the blonde cry out.
"O-oh, sorry." He blushed under the fire as he slowly sat down and sighed softly at the question. "Y-yea.. I'm fine. I... I know we can do this and I have lots of confidence but... the thing that's worrying me now is..."

His green eyes glanced at Ninetails. "Her... she hasn't been herself at all. She's never refused to fight before."


Ven... was actually nowhere to be found... however his ghost was still floating around the Jolteon, making sure not to get close.

That was when a certain gem fell in front of Terra's face, the brown swirls dancing in the light of the fire.
Ven was right besides him.
The blonde could hear a huff from the dragon close by as his sighed. "I.... I'm sorry....both of you...."


The silverette blinked a bit as he saw Sora's black expression... and the length it was taking him to speak. He rose a silver eyebrow, becoming a bit concerned when Sora finally reacted. He answered... with a question.

He shifted a bit but his eyes grew dark when he heard the word... 'pretty' and slowly looked away.

"HA! HA! PRETTY BOY! PRETTY BOY!!"
Rocks flew through the air, hitting the pale boy with long, silver hair.
"STOP IT! LEAVE ME ALONE!" The boy cried back but the boys down the road continued to toss rocks at him until he had to run away, crying, his Eevee running after him in worry.
"THAT'S RIGHT, PRETTY BOY! GO RUN BACK HOME TO YOUR MOMMY!"

The boy bust through a wooden door and headed right into the kitchen, wrapping his small arms around a woman's hips, burying his face into as he continued to sob.
"Sweetie! What's wrong!?"
"I WANNA GO BACK TO THE ISLAND MOMMY! PLEASE!"

However, as the brunette kept talking, his eyes became lighter again... and hearing the last bit... he slowly looked back at Sora.
"Why would I want to hit you...?" He asked softly.
