Axel gasped more and more as the hand around his neck started to get tighter and tighter. Yellow eyes pierced into the green, waiting for the answer he wanted to hear. "Roxas won't open his eyes... and tell the truth. I need someone to help me."
Black nails dug into the old man's arm as he tried to pull away. "F-fine!" He squeaked, knowing he couldn't get away. "I-I'll do it!" More gasping filled the room before he dropped to the ground. He held his throat as he coughed before looking up at Xehanort, narrowing his eyes. The old man only grinned before snapping his fingers, a portal appearing. "You have five minutes."
Axel's eyes widened before he stumbled towards the portal as quickly as he could. Such an imp...
Ven blinked as he continued to look away. "B-but don't you wanna see this place? Get out of here... I mean... no one wants to be cooped up in a-ah!" His eyes widened as he felt the arms around him and the kiss on his neck. He shivered and looked back, his eyes darkening as he leaned back into the other. "Unless... there's something else you want to do..."
Jet laughed and shook his head. "No! I'm serious!" He smiled as he looked down at her. "It's true Runa..." He took her hand again, looking into her eyes. "I couldn't of asked for a better girl... you gave me such happy nights and days... three beautiful children... and... no matter what... you're always by my side. I wish... I had a mother like you."
Carina's eyes widened as she listened. "A-a Shee...?" Her eyes widened though as she heard the last bit and shook her head. "N-no... please don't say that... why... would I want you to leave? If my boy... is in love with you... I don't have the right to interrupt this love... right?"
She questioned before she suddenly took off to the bookshelf. She reached up on her toes, taking a book from the top. When she pulled it down, she blew the dust off and wiped it with her hand. She slowly walked back to Sora, opening the book.
"I originally came from a world called Radiant Garden... before it disappeared from the Darkness..." She spoke softly, as if what she was saying might sound crazy. "The leader there was very interested about the other worlds... and made a book." She stopped at a page and slowly turned the book for Sora to take. On one page, there was an illustration of a creature that looked human, but had butterfly shaped like wings. On the other page, it was titled: The Shee.
Carina smiled as she watched the boy look at the page.

Roxas groaned softly, looking around his cage. Some of the Atterains were starting to struggle back to their feet...
He panted hard, the exertion of the magic making him shake. He wasn't balanced enough to be useing spells - even to save his own life.
He grunted, kicking the door to the cage, but it wouldn't budge. He truly was... trapped. A tiger with deer horns came forward, grinning maliciously. It hooked its horns against the bars of the cage and with a toss of his head sent Roxas rolling.
"Agh!" The boy within cried. Why... why didn't his brothers' know he was in troubkle? Why wasn't help coming? Did they really-
Demonic laughter filled his head, Atterins jumped onto the cage cage and swiping their paws between thebars, deadly claws almost able to reach the little shee. Roxas crawled to the back of his cage, curling up against the metal of what used to be the bottom. He placed his hands over his ears, trying to shut out the noise, the jackals cackling, the cats chucklings, the dogs howling...
He shut his eyes tightly, tears slowly leaking down his face. "S-S-Sevak.... badza-axom" H-H-Help... someone... He didn't have a choice. If he wanted to live... He had to... "XEHANORT!" He cried. "Eka cah-" I'll-
"Roxas don't!" Roxas' yellow eyes snapped open and he looked around as light suddenly burst into the area. Atterains yelped and screeched, jumping away from the cage as it was burning them and running in all direction. The blonde breathed unsteadily, confused.
Then he looked behind him and gasped. Because, as if looking through a mirrior and not through metal, he could see a reflection of himself. For a moment he thought it was Ven, but he held none of his brother's physique... it was... himself. This Roxas had a calm smile upon his face, blue eyes... and white wings. He didn't flinch as the Atterians regained their bearings and growled, seeing him as well. Claws swiped at the white-winged Shee, only to go through him like he was a ghost.
"Kisane...?" 'Who...?"
"Have you forgotten me as well?" the other Roxas asked, chuckling softly. "Roxas... why did you go to Tarsa?"
"Axel..." "Wrong!" The voice snapped back, and the black-wing flinched, feeling so... udnermined by this other half. "'My goal... is to find an imp I can trust.' Remember? Sure, you thought it was Axel had first - but then you fell in love. You became blind and lost your way. Lost your Balance... and your mission got farther away." ...What? Roxas thought, unable to even voice it he was so... confused. the other sighed, hearing the question loud and clear. "Roxas... Axel wasn't the one who needed to be trusted. YOU'RE the imp that you need to learn to trust. You think Xan, or Maxius, or Samtux, or Rexta had it easy either? For all of us, the black-side of our wings tells us what a black-wing knows. What our grandmother felt and couldn't escape. It tempts, it tricks, it cheats, it hurts just like an imp..." The white wing fluttered, smiling placatingly at the Atterains. "You went back to find your Balance, but the blackness was too much and it overwelmed you. You lost yourself - but it isn't too late. You went where no other black-and-white wing dared to go before but now... now you need to come back." "Se..." Roxas shook his head harshly and looked back. "I don't understand." The white-wing grinned. "Soran. Ventus. Runa. Jet. Lilo. Gin. Firi. Latium. Artios. Riri. Dyre. Casis. Peri. Maki. Yelra. Family, friends, and Shee alike. 'I'll protect them all!' Don't you remember syaing that?" The black-wing blinked, feeling memories assulting him as each name was chorused, reminescing when he used to beg his dad to bring mom along for their days out, or playing games of tag with his brother, or smiling as he accepted flowers from Firi, or struggling to perfect a spell Artios had taught him. He rememebred archery practice with Casis... lessons with Latium... having picnics with Gin's family... getting a scrape bandaged by Riri...
He remembered turning ten, standing in the tower while lightning and rain took over norn - he remembered Soran asking him to come to bed, and Ventus staying half hidden behind the door. "Look at the town." Roxas said softly as bolts of electricity scoured the town. "Scared as they lay in bed. Scared of the unpredictable..." "Yeah well, that's only natural. Change is scary." Soran said softly. "One day... one day I'll be king. And no matter what happens that we can't predict, no matter how scared everyone gets I'll protect them... You hear that?!" His wings fluttered, faced determined as he yelled to the storm, "I'll protect them all!"
Roxas stopped shaking suddenly, his eyes widened. The white-winged Roxas smiled. "You're wings won't determine how great you are... you are the only one who can be great. King is just a title - and a king is a leader, protector, a savoir. He's compassionate loyal and honest. He's fair and intelligent... and most of all... selfless. He's the one who stands up and says, 'XEHANORT I-" "WILL NEVER LET YOU WIN!" Roxas cried out, his voice booming across. White surronded him in a bright glow, and power radiated across the room. Atterains screamed as they were all shoved backwards, beastly forms cracking into the walls. The prince stood inside his cage and like water falling from a fountain, the blackness that had taken over his wings started to fall away and turn into ash, revealing the beauty of what they once were. Black and white, perfectly balanced. This... was who he was meant to be.
The charm on his chest came back to life, the X shining brightly.
"DO YOU HEAR ME?!" His voice roared across the room, just like it had when he faced the storm. "I'LL PROTECT THEM ALL EVEN IF I HAVE TO DIE! You... YOU WILL NEVER HAVE NORN!" The blonde panted hard, shutting his blue eyes tightly.
Terra grinned softly at the look they other made. "Ah, I can do lots of things..." He tilted the other's chin, pressing his lips against the other's. But a shift in the world make him break away and he blinked looking around. "What IS that?"
Runa blushed, before smiling softly. "Jet..." She leaned up between them, pressing her lips against the other's - but she felt the Balance pull and she blinked, glancing out the enarest window. "Oh my!" The X on the fountain was glowing brillantly.
Soran looked up in surprise at the woman's words, blushing a little. She... really meant that? He smiled - she really was a great mom.
He blinked curiously watching her as she hurried from the room and straightened out. As she came back, a book in hand and shared her story, he only smiled. but not in the compassionate, pitiyng way humans did when they thoguht what the other was saying was crazy - no Soran's held belief and udnerstanding. He knew what she told him was true. Destiny... was an in-between world after all...
He blinked however as the book was held under his nose and he took the old thing with care. He read the words and say the picture, eyes widening with amazement. Was Radiant... a blue world? But the book seemed so ancient. He smiled, seeing the orange-wings on that Shee's back, chuckling. Someone had traveled there...
"I never thought... my mission would be such a success." He murmured then, handing the book back. "I didn't find just your son to see me without fear... but you as well Lady Carina." He gave her a sweeping bow, as if she were a princess. "When I return with Riku... well I'm sure we'll all have a lot to talk about." He straightened again, smiling at her. "I'd better go now though. Can't keep a damsel in distress waiting, right?" He joked with a chuckle before turning on his heels and hurrying for the door, his wings disapeparing in a flash of light. He opened the door before pausing on the threshold, looking back. She looked... happier now. More hopeful...
"I'll be back soon!" He called, before he ran out the door. His fingers curled around his charm, feeling a sudden glow come to it from someone he hadn't felt in over a week. ...Roxas? But the connection held no fear or pain... no it held... bravery and assurance. Roxas was back!

Axel panted more as he reached the portal, looking back at the old man. "Four minutes left." The imp growled before he pressed through. His body shivered from the coldness of the Darkness.
When he appeared in the new room, his eyes widened when he saw that there were Atterians scattered all over... but all seemed to be... unconscious. He swallowed before looking at the side, seeing a cage... and what was in it.
"R-roxas...?" He gasped, seeing the white that he had once remembered. He stopped, slowly standing up right. His wings flapped as his eyes softened. He remembered... this Roxas. He shook his head, his mind and freewill coming back to him. What... what had happened?
"One Minute." Green eyes widened as he looked around. Shit... that was right. He frowned as he was about to go to the cage... but... he couldn't move. His feet... seemed to be glued to the floor. "Wait! That's not fair!" The imp cried as he fell over, falling to the ground since he didn't have the strength to balance himself.
He struggled before his eyes widened. "Time's up." "NOOOOOOOOOO!!" A portal was made, the old man appearing. He looked over at Axel and grinned before a key shimmered into existence. He looked over at Roxas before chuckling... and shot towards the cage. "NO! ROXAAAAAAAAS!"
Wings flapped hard, pushing and pulling until a power came from the frail body. "I LOVE HIIIIIM!" A scream sounded before a blur of black raced across the room. Eyes went wide as the key weapon sliced through the bars as if it was a hot knife through butter... and then, one last slash...
...hit a ray of light.
The light beamed out, stopping the key right before it came down on bare skin. Exotic green eyes stared down at the old man, his arms stretched out as he protected the Shee he was in front of. The tip of the key was only an inch from his skin as it was held there in time.
No black horns came from Axel's forehead, no devilish tail came from his hind. No fangs or devilish tongue. Wings however... those he still had... but they were much different. Light radiated from the bright orange wings. The wings of a Shee. The orange wings of Change. Sacrifice was the opposite of impish. The Balance was found.
"Back off Xehanort." The Shee said, his tone true and defensive. Yellow eyes looked at the orange wing before quickly shooting down at a familiar blue eye. His eyes were open... and wide. Axel noted and suddenly a spear of light appeared in his hand. "NO!" He slashed his spear against the key, making Xehanort fall back a bit. Axel turned, and without much hesitation, he grabbed the prince and they were gone in a flash.
A portal opened near the outskirts of the kingdom, the same place where Axel had brought Roxas the last time he was on Norn. He was ready to feel the height of the Balance... but his eyes widened as he looked around, FEELING the balance. "What...?"
"Terra..." The prince gasped breathlessly as he felt those lips coming in on him. His eyes closed as their lips pressed against each other, soft and sweet. Before Ven's teenage hormones could kick in, he shifted. It was different doing something like this FAR off... but right at home!?
He was about to pull away when a shift in the Balance did that for him. He blinked, feeling the charm on his chest warm. He looked out the window, slowly leaving Terra's side. "The Balance... it's starting to... balance..."
Jet smiled as his lips met familiar ones, ones that he had fallen in love with the first time he had kissed them. He would never forget that day... but something pulled at him and he pulled away. Jet pulled away and rushed to the window, seeing the cross glow brightly... as bright as it had a week ago. "Roxas!"
Carina blinked as she watched Sora... bow to her. AND called her 'Lady'. She blushed, feeling a bit pampered but her eyes grew light as she nodded. "Y-yes... please Sora.... hurry and make sure my son is alright." She watched him leave, waving softly and smiling as she looked down at the book. So... they were real...
Silver hair floated in the ocean as a limp body shifted. Labor breathing could be heard... easily since no birds could over sound it. Sweat ran down his face as the hot sun continued to push onto him. "So....r.......ah...." He panted, his eyes slowly closing for he had no more strength to keep them open.

"One minute." "That's not fair! Roxas head raised, and jerked to the left, though he didn't dare look. "Axel?!" He called, confused. It... could it really be? Or was it another one of Xehanort's tricks to get him to look?
He heard someone fall and he tensed up. "Time's up." Darkness slammed into the area, but Roxas stood strong, his wings keeping a circle of light around himself. Feet tapping on the floor only feet away from him. He turned his head towards Axel's voice, hearing him screaming. "Ax... it's okay..." He called. This would be a noble death.
He flinched as he heard metal screeching and protesting as it broke and took a deep breath, tensing all over as he waited for the blow.
"I LOVE HIIIIIM!" Suddenly power and warmth spread throughout the area, and the glow made Roxas see the reds of his eyelids. The blow never came, but something soft brushed his cheek, making his eyes snap open with alarm...
Only to widen further as he tried to take in what he was seeing. "A-A-" He stuttuered, unable to get out the word as he looed at Axel's back, and at... a beautiful pair of orange wings. Shee wings...
Shee really had been borne from imps!
Suddenly however, he looked up, and his eyes met golden ones. He felt memories being pulled from his head. The keyblade of Fire, of light, of magic, of- "NO!" Suddenly Axel was there, breaking the spell as he sattacked and Roxas say nothing as he gained his ebarings and shut his eyes again. There was a grunt of pain and then arms were wrapping around him, warmth circling his body once more...
and he heard the sound of chirping birds, rushing water, a soft breeze. He dared open his eyes. And he laughed joyously as he did. He was home!
Disregarding Axel's confusion he threw his arms around the other. "Axel!" He pressed his lips against the others. "I... thank you!"
Terra walked over to his mate's side, glancing at him. "Do you realize how odd that sounded?" Yet oddly, he could sort of feel what Ven meant. It was like... turning rightside up after handing upside down on the monkey bars too long.
He noticed the charm however and reached out, touching it. It felt warm. "I though this emant one of your brothers was in trouble?"
Runa stepped up to her husband's side, her eyes swimming with tears. But they were not of saddness. "Our son... what could he possibly be doing?"
Sora ran.
His legs were pumping as they brought up clouds of dust and dirt behind him in a mad dash to reach the beach. A twist here and left there and right here and there! he was on the main road and wasn't stopping.
He could see the ocean spreading out before him. He passed Wakka and Tidus fighting on the beach, he jumped upon the deck and his feet pounded on the wood loudly. Kairi and Selphie were at the end of the deck and regardless of the ramification he spread his wings and FLEW over them, hearing them cry out in surprise. He didn't have anymore time to waste though! In his heart he could feel that things were not at all okay.
Tidus and Wakka paused on the beach, their jaws dropping open as they saw their newest friend... sprouting wings?! "Okay... we did not just see that." Tidus announced. "Cha..."
Lucky for Sora, humans often never believed things even when they could see them. He turned, wings pounding heavily as he raced across the water towards the play island. He curved around it, seeing what he had feared most. The raft WAS gone. He landed on the beach, looking around for any clues - but not even the imprint of where the raft had been was left. He looked out across the water, towards the horizon where Riku had been planning to go...
"Riku..." He whispered, "Hold on I'm coming!" His blue wings glowed with vitality as he took a running leap across the the beach, flying over the water so low water parted and created waves thats crashed down upon the water in an unntural way.
He gained height keeping clear of the liquid as he took off over the sea.

Axel's eyes widened as he felt arms wrap around him and then... lips. He smiled, feeling the softness for the first time. Every other time he had felt them, they were wet from sweat from the heat of Tarsa. A shiver ran down his naked body as he fell onto his knees and over the Shee.
When they pulled away, Axel just shook his head. "T-thank you." He flapped his wings... but paused. His wings were much lighter than before, making him look back at them. His eyes widened more as he saw them. Orange, glowing wings that sparkled in the sun. Light glitter sparks of light fell off them as they flapped softly.
He slowly looked back at Roxas before reaching his hands up, touching his forehead. His horns... they were gone. "What... what happened...?"
Ven rolled his eyes and smiled before blinking, feeling Terra's hand on the charm. He looked down, seeing it glow. Shaking his head, he looked up at his lover and smiled. "Sometimes... it's just glows to make sure we knew we're there for each other. Now get dressed! We need to hurry!"
Jet smiled, looking down at Runa before nodding. "Let's find out!" He took Runa's hand and quickly raced down the hallway and out the front doors of the palace. They needed to follow the tug of the Balance. Maybe... it would bring them back to their son.
Around the palace and kingdom, Shee all over started to feel the return of the Balance.
Firi stopped dead in her singing and Lilo tilted her head. "What is it, mother?" The blonde Shee smiled as she walked over to the window, looking out and seeing the fountain glow. "Roxas is back!" "ROXAS!?" The girl cried in joy as she shot out of the room. Firi blinked and rushed after her. "Wait up for me!"
A loud crash could be heard down the hallway as a messenger crashed into a wall. Red wings fluttered all over as a dark skinned Shee shook his head and rubbed it. The change of the Balance had thrown off his flight. He grabbed his letters and looked around, making sure no one saw what had just happened.
Kairi smiled as she sipped on her tropical drink with her best friend. She was worried about Riku... and the way Carina had taken it... it was really sad. Even if... Riku admitted that he was in love with Sora... how hard that had been for her... she was still worried about the boy SHE loved.
She sighed before she heard heavy, large footsteps coming right for her. She and Selphie looked back. "SORA!" The brunette called but both their eyes widened as he jumped OVER them. They were expected to hear a loud splash... but their eyes caught onto something more... unbelievable.
He was FLYING.
Selphie shot up, her mouth gaping as she watched one of her dear friends FLYING towards the island that they all knew so well. "Whoa...."
The raft continued to bob up and down in the ocean, not sure if it was drifting or moving at all. It seemed like it didn't really matter anymore... for the man it was carrying was almost dead.
There was some movement... then a lot. The raft suddenly started to rock faster and then almost flipped over. The limp body shifted and slid towards one of the edges, making the raft tip dangerously. As a power started to grow, the boy's body was slowly starting to be claimed by the ocean's water.

Roxas chuckled at the other's words, his eyes light and brillant for the first time in many weeks. He couldn;t help but chuckle at the other's confusion. "You never heard the legend? I'm not surprised... but it's one of the reasons we shee try to keep a connection with you imps..."
He leaned back, placing his hands on the soft grass. "It was said... long ago before even Isu and Xan or the worlds were disconnected from travel, there was an imp named Zanatos. He was said to be the worst of them all - he habored over ten imps in his consort, cheated in all the games to the worst degrees, his pranks on others often caused harm, kept no secrets, and was a brillant coward who often gave up people's names to save his own tail. Then one day... he stumbled upon Juturna, and fell in love with a water nymph. Yet, he couldn't get close to her because the water would kill him - he could only watch her from afar."
Roxas smiled, seeing Axel's intense gaze. Yeah, he definietely never heard this story. "Well, as it goes he was going to to her realm with a gift for his nymph love, her name was Masika; but when he got there she was no where to be found, she had been taken from the water. Fearing for her life - because she could not live without water - he went on a quest for her. There were trails and tribulations and to make a long story short he eventually found her one long year later - but she was not as he remembered."
Roxas chuckled. "She had... wings like a butterfly. She told Zanatos that she had never been a nymph, that she had been with the nymphs to learn about them and their culture as well as to make friends. She also knew that he had been following after her for those many long monthes and was quite flattered and fallen for him as well - but she said they could never be together because he was an imp and she was a Shee, and nothing good could come from them mating. She sent Zanatos away. Once he got back to Tarsa, he was heart-broken. He sent his consorts away, he stopped cheating and pranking people. all he did was sit up in his room, thinking of Masika. Finally, after a long time of thinking he came to a decision. He went all the way back to Juturna and found Masika at the waters edge, speaking with some of the nymphs. He raced towards her, yelling out 'Please be mine!' And then he fell into the water...."
There was a pause and Roxas took a breath. "Everyone thought he would die. Masika was torn up as she ran to were he had fallen - and found not a dead imp but a man coming to the surface of the water - and on his back were the bright wings of a Shee. And that's the story. It was the first but not the last of cases... there were other imps who shed their sins and became like us."
He reached back, fingers fluttering with care over the other's wings. "Orange represents strength and change. My grandfather was an orange wing. It suits you..."
Terra blinked at the other's insistance. "Okay, okay!" He turned back to his clothing, sheeding his pants - and got a yell of surprise from Ven. "What?" The Shee turned and spluttered about undergarments and Terra laughed. "I decided to forego the udnerwear - big deal." He threw off the pants - only to get a pair of boxers thrown in his face with amazingly good aim.
The wolf laughed, but obediantly put on all his new clothes, bare toes wiggling on the carpet. "Okay, lets go!"
Runa laughed softly as her husband pulled her along. "Right!" The two followed the pull of the Balance, running past the fountain glowing so brillantly. Feet pounded on the paved roads as they made it from the center of town towards the outskirts coming to where the large gates shot up towards the sky.. and just outside... were two Shee.
One she was certain she had never seen in her life, but another... she knew as well as herself. Her youngest... "Roxas!!"
Roxas head tilted towards the cry, glancing towards them. "...Mom? Dad?"
Sora soared across the sea, shutting his eyes. He needed to find him... but how? The ocean was miles and miles wide, endless and unfathomable. How would he find... unless Riku had his first letter!
"Seal - sense!" His eyes opened, bright orange. In his clenched hand, he still held the letter he had never let go off. It glew, a red thread of magic dipping from the seal and into the ocean and further outwards - many, many miles - passing over the soaked wood of a raft, a motionless body precariously perched on the raft, and connected with the small spots of red wax left behind where Riku had found his first letter.
Sora's eyes snapped open and he gasped in alarm. "Riku..." He looked down, seeing the thread still and followed it dutifully. He glanced back - and though he had traveled far he could still see the two islands...
He felt so pathetically slow! "Hastega!" He snapped, a golden glow surronding him and his wings started to flap faster and faster, pushing him farther and faster across the water. It was a good thing he paid attention during his lessons. Seconds passed, turning into minutes... his wings started to scream in protest. He'd never given them such a workout before.
He glanced back, panting a little. The islands were gone from sight now - had he really gone so far?
Roaring water made him look forward and down, seeing the waves shifting below him. His eyes darkened. This time the ocean was not going to beat him! It had already tried to claim his life not once but twice. And now... it was trying to claim riku's...
But if he didn't go faster he'd never make it in time!
"Come on... think think..." He berated himself, before he remembered. He could try... but he wasn't very good with that spell...
Damn it, he had to try! He ducked his head and took a deep breath - before blowing out. A powerful gust of wind sent him rocketing even faster forward - nearly making him tumble over himself. Now this is the way to fly!!
"Fly, fly!" He chanted to himself, taking another breath and blowing outwards. It sent him richoeting through the air once more.
The sound of thunder made him look up in startlement, and his eyes widened - seeing dark clouds ahead. A pwoerful storm was brewing - must of just begun.... And the red thread was pointing right into the midst of the storm.
He took a breath, braced all his courage, and flew right into the storm. Everything became dark.
"RIIIIIIIKUUUU!!!" Sora screamed out into the suddenly whipping air that was trying to battle him down, the waves turning ferocious under him. And then, in a flash of lightning... he thought he could see something brown... The... the raft?

Axel blinked as Roxas asked him about some legend. Like imps had the time to teach. His new wings fluttered, feeling so light on his back now, as he listened to the boy who he had created so many sins with not too long ago.
His eyes grew more and more wide as he listened. The story was... kind of heartwarming in a way... though it was unbelievable that an imp would have a hard time shedding such sins... Then again... no imp ever even thought about sacrificing themselves for their cohorts...
He looked back at his wings as Roxas touched them, smiling slightly. He was... a Shee now? "No one likes you... because you're better than everyone else." Had his brother... known about this...? Before he could say anything, he heard the call of a woman. He looked up, seeing a blonde woman rushing out from the gates with a man.... that had unusually long hair.
He blinked as Roxas was taken away from him, swooped up in the woman's arms and smothered with kisses. He rubbed his arm, looking away. "Excuse me...?" The redhead looked up, seeing that the man with brunette hair looking down at him. This had to be... King Jet. "Y-yea...?" "Did... you bring my son back?" The redhead looked away but nodded.
There was some silence between the two before Axel felt a hand on his bare shoulder. He blinked, slowly looking back up at the King. "Thank you... and... welcome to Norn."
Axel was about to ask how Jet had known... but even before he was interrupted by more calls of Roxas's name... he figured that Jet would know each and every single Shee in the kingdom... and obviously... he didn't know him... He looked out, seeing another woman and a little girl rush over to his lover. The girl wrapped her arms around the blonde, smiling happy as tears of joy ran down her face.
They... all really missed him. Even if he was... a Shee now... he never... saw this kind of love before...
Ventus smiled as he looked over Terra. He wore an earth tone tunic with fine made pants. A belt held it all together as well as strings and ropes. It was... kind of funny seeing an Atterian in Shee clothing... but it made his heart swoon. Terra was really here... and safe... and...his.
"Oh wait!" He smiled before going back to the closet and grabbing something. It was a large pile of something and he walked around Terra. The pile was shaken out and gently placed around the Atterian's neck and shoulder. A cloak. "There..." He spoke softly, smiling lovingly at the brunette.
The waves continued to rage roughly, pushing the raft around as if it was just a twig. The sail suddenly ripped off, flying into the air but not for long as the rain beat it down to it's watery grave. The titleless book slipped from unconscious arms, also wetting again in the story waters.
The dead weight of the boy could no longer let the raft stay afloat and if he had been awake and well, he could of managed it. But he wasn't... and he finally slipped off the raft completely. His body fell through the dark waters, the sound of the thunder leaving as his limps floated above his body. Sora....

"Ah moooom!" Roxas couldn't help but whine playfully as he was grabbed and hugged, kisses spread across his cheeks and forehead.
"My baby! You had me so worried." Runa said, smothering him further.
"I-I'm sorry!" Roxas said, squirming in her arms, unable to keep down his smile. He had never been... so thrilled to receieve his mother's love before. "But you're kinda crushing me mother."
"Oh!" She let him go, only to take his face in her hands, inspecting every inch of him. She ran her figners through his hair, checking for injury. "Next time, don't just run off like that!"
The blonde never got a chance to respond to that when another chorus of his name made the son and mother break away - and another girl came to him. This one was much smaller with brown wings. Roxas chuckled, embracing her back. "Hey Lilo! My, you've grown in the week I was gone." He teased, before lifting her face and brushing away her tears.
The minute he was distangled from her he was being swept up by Firi! He smiled up at the woman who he'd always thought of as a second mother - but wow this was about as much as he could take! He hugged her back however, glad to be home.
When he was finally done with that, he looked to his father, who was talking with Axel. He looked around, a little confused. "What, Soran and Ventus didn't wanna greet me?" He joked, feeling a little bummed that his brothers hadn't found him worth their time.
"Soran is off on Destiny, said it was urgent he found this..." Runa began, before trailing off. "Riku?" He asked, a little concerned. Riku was in trouble? "Yes that was it! And your other brother is well... entertaining his Atterain friend-" "...Terra's here?!" Roxas cried, shocked. An Atterain... on Norn!! "Yes and why am I not surprised you already knew them?"
He laughed nervously. "Well then, no secrets anymore." He hurried to his Shee friend, helping him to his feet. "Everyone I'd like to announce my friend. This is Axel, a former imp." He grinned up at the red-head. "He saved my life."
Terra blinked as Ven went a-rummaging in the closet. he tilted his head curiously, and if he were in his wolfen state the gesture would have looked honestly adorable.
The length of cloth fluttered in the air and he watched Ven come behind him and secured it over his shoulder. He fingered the material, before smiling back at Ven. "I feel so... mmm... regal." He joked. He reached up, curling his hand around Ven's. "Let's go for that walk!"
Sora squinted his eyes, flying towards the brown-thing he saw tossing and turning in the sea. As he got closer, his heart beat rapidly, catching sight of something silver - even at the mast of the small raft broke in two, and was thrown into the air. "RIKU!" He cried again - voice lost in the storm. But he was getting clsoer and closer... His breath came in hard pants, exhausted from magical and physical exhertion... His charm dangled from his neck, catching his eye... His heart froze and his mind reeled in sudden realization... A bolt of electricity flew through the air, a boom of thunder... And then suddenly Sora went sailing out of the sky. SMACK! Plumes of water lifted and were swallowed up by furiously raging waters. Seconds later, Riku's body slipped into the water and was lost to the darkness of the sea. The raft bent and twist in the water, before it's ropes gave way and broke in half. There was nothing but the sound of water churning, thunder crying and wind whistling as the storm ate everything it was given.
Then, suddenly, a blob of brown emerged from the water, and gasps desperately echoed in the air, swallowed by the noises around him. Desperate and shaking hands pushed locks of brown spikes from blue eyes, searching across the water desperately - and saw the raft in pieces. "NO! RIKU!!!"
He tried to get out of the water, but his wings refused to respond in the strong waves. He grunted and drew them in before they ripepd right off his back. It looked like he would be putting his lesson to a real test!
"See, floating is a good way to survive if you're lost at sea." Riku said, watching the other laying on his back with a clumsy ease. "But what about storms?!" "Storms?" "Yeah!" Sora said, his eyes wide, "what if your lost at sea in the middle of a furious storm!" "Sora, that's a little dramatic, don't you think?" "Yeah, but knowing me, the universe will take my greatest fear, and shove me into it with the worst situation possible." "Sora..." "I'm not joking Riku! Come on just tell me." The silverette sighed... "Floating won't help at all, the waves would just tip you over. The best thing to do, is get under the water where the waves can't surprise you by coming on top of you."
Sora took a deep breath and dived under, going down as far as he could.
"Don't worry about how tired you are, adrenline will keep you going for awhile.
His legs and arms were screaming at him, but he pushed that aside as he continued to go down until he could take the currents, and pushed his legs forward.
"If you're trying to reach something, you'll want to use the front crawl, a version of the breaststroke - it's your fastest swimming style. If you don't see anything, save your energy and use the butterfly or doggy paddle."
Sora started to swim, his arms moving in a clockwise roattion over his head, legs kicking behind him - up and down, down and up - rhytmatically.
"The problem with the front crawl is it sucks your energy and you'll need to surface more because you'll run out of air quickly. Be careful because the waves can surprise you."
Sora blew out a wind spell from his mouth, creating a pocket of air around him. He breathed quickly before the water reclaimed the space. That's when the waters became rough, tugging at his body.
"Never fight the current either. It won't get you anywhere any quicker and only tire you faster. Let it take you back and when its lets up, keep swimming."
The brunette let up, body twisting in the water, and when the sea calmed some, he kicked his legs like they were a mermaid's tail and fell back into his style...
And then he saw it - or rather, he saw him. In the depth of the blackening water, his glowing orange eyes saw moonshine hair and a motionless body being thrown about in the sea. He gave a burst of extra speed... and his arms curled around Riku's body.
He forced his wings out and in a brillant shot of light they disappeared.
He fell with a cry onto something soft and bouncy. He coughed, looking around with confusion - quickly recognizing his parent's bedroom. He disregared that fact before finding the silverette beside him, turning him onto his back. "Riku? Riku!!"

Axel blinked as he was pulled up, quickly covering his... privates. There was a girl here! Besides... it didn't seem very proper to show his naked self to the king and queen... especially since Shee liked layers and were always wearing cloaks.
He smiled embarrassingly as the Shee looked over at him. Jet blinked, tilting his head some. "Former... imp?" He looked at Roxas before frowning. "You... were on Tarsa this whole time?" With a nod, everything seemed to fall into place. They knew Roxas had gone somewhere hot due to all those vials but... no one had expected the world of the imps.
He slowly looked back at Axel, smiling softly. "It's been... a very long time since an imp had changed..." Almost a few hundred years... Lilo slowly walked up to the tall man, reaching up and poking the orange wing. It fluttered as Axel looked down at her. She smiled up at him before speaking. "You have really pretty wings, Axel." "That's Sir Axel, Lady Lilo." Jet corrected. "If he saved the prince... he well deserves the title."
Before anyone else could say anything, there was another yell coming from the gates. "ROXAS!?" An identical twin cried, letting go of the hand in his as he ran over to Roxas. The boys seemed to jump as they held onto each other's hands and bounced a bit. "Roxas! You're back! You're back!" Ventus cried happily before stopping their kiddish little bounce and hugged his brother.
When he pulled away, he smiled more. "I--" He stopped dead though as both their eyes suddenly glowed yellow, their charms glowing. Something was wrong. "S-Soran!" They cried in unison. They both started to panic but stopped as the heaviness went away... and another pull of the Balance pulled towards the palace. Both brother's eyes turned back to blue as they looked back at their home.
Water soaked into the sheets of the large bed and splashed onto the white bricks. Silver hair stuck to the white pillow and sheets as his body was shifted. Riku's body was still limp, his breath still labored but now with signs of water in his lungs. Not just any water either, but salt water.
His body trembled but his eyes did not open. Even if he responded slightly to Sora's touch, he was long gone in a deep sleep of dehydration, heat exhaustion and starvation.

Roxas smiled at Axel's new title, feeling proud for him even if his lover didn't quite understand the honor. However, a cry made him look up and his eyes brightened. "Ventus!!"
He rushed forward, the two putting on a very odd and childish display, laughing some. He smiled however when he was brought into a hug, gladly returning it. "Are you telling me you didn't know?" He teased.
Terra watched, his eyes widening. Holy shit... of course he knew what twins were even if none existed on Atteris but holy shit! There were TWO Ven's?! "Good god..." He breathed.
Runa looked up and glanced back, only to giggle softly at the sight of Terra in a familar pair of clothes. She recognized them because they were the same clothes Jet had worn... on their first date together.
"S-Soran!" But the cry from her sons made her look back at them, tensing some at their cry. Her heart couldn't take much more excitement.
Roxas frowned some as his eyes went back to normal and he glanced towards home, before glancing at Ven, worried about his eldest brother. The last time he had been panicked by Sora, he had nearly drowned. "I thought he was on Destiny?"
Soran looked down at the other in panic. At least he was breathing - which was good he had no idea how to perform CPR - but the wet sound in his lungs did not settle him any, knowing the dangers of pneumonia and from the paleness in his cheeks and the warmth to his skin he knew... He needed help right now.
The blue-wing suddenly burst from his parents room, doors smacking against the walls powerfully as his tired and wet wings tried to lift him in the air. After a couple of tries he created enough of a circulation to dry them and off he went.
But he couldn't get very high... "Ah sorry!" The prince cried, as he broke between two Shee who were bringing out a meal for another group. The food was tossed up and splattered all over the nice tile. "Watch out!" He yelled, barely making it over Dyre's head and spilling his letters all over the place. "Sorry!!!" "Lati-" He started to shout, but the old yellow-wing silently stepped against the wall, soran harmlessly speeding past.
And then his wet shoes slid on the tile as he tried to stop himself. The squeaked and he yelped as he tooppled all over himself, falling on his side. The cry brought another shee with green wings to the door. "Prince Soran! Are you alright?"
"Yeah, yeah!" Soran said, scrambling to his feet and grabbing her hand. "Come with me!!" He dragged her down the hall, panting between his explantion, "In my parents room... a human. Riku... he just nearly drowned and he needs help.... dunno what's wrong!" "Alright Prince Soran, I understand! I'm right behind you! Oh Latium dear, watch out!" He who wisely stayed out of their path. But as Soran came to another hall he saw someone outside that sparked his interest. "Keep going I'll meet you there." He jumped out the window and flew off.
Riri shook her head and continued on her way - only to pass, "Dyre?!" She stepped around his letters gracefully and kept gong, sending an apologetic look back. she wished she could of helped... "Sorry emergency!"
Her next surprise was a pile of food and two Shee's with mops which she easily hurried around, but not without tracking more food over the place by accidently stepping in some green peas - sending her apologizes behind her. Emergency after all!
Soran flee across the fields. "AQUA!!!" "WAH!" He scared the hell out of the woman and her spear she had been practicing with spun out of her grip, and the water she had been manipulated fell back to the ground. She growled angrily. The spearhead imbeeding itself very cleanly between Demyx's legs where he sat strumming his sitar. "Eeep!" The Nix yelped, quickly jumping up. "I almost lost my ability to have children!!" "Sorry!" Soran cried before he swept over to Aqua's side. "I need you're help! No time to explain!" He threw his arms around her waist and with a powerful beat of his wings, tugged her and himself into the air. "W-What the fuck?! PUT ME DOW-" Aqua looked down, seeing the ground had gotten far away. She clenched her fingers in the prince's shoulders. "DON'T LET GO!"
Soran didn't. He flew her around the edge of the castle to his parents open balcony and let her on her own too feet. Riri was already there, inspected the silverette quietly. Aqua frowned some, looking at the silverette. "He's... a human like you." Soran explained, exhuasted. "He just nearly drowned and..." He bent over, placing his hands on his knees. there was a stitch in his side thatw as really killing him and his wings felt ready to tear in half. "Water... in his lungs... and..." Huff, huff, pant, pant. "You need me to get it out. I got it." Aqua said, not needing the other to finish. She could hear it in the teen's breathes - how wet and wrong it was. "I.... I owe... you..." She waved away his words and walked forward. Helping people was what she did; she never asked for anything in return. As a guardian in the relam of water, drowning was unsurprisngly common. The danger laid in the water staying in there however... "'Xcuse me," She said to the green winged Shee, politely shoving her back, before placing her hands on Riku's chest where his lungs were.
Her hands glowed a faint blue, and Riku's body jerked a little as all the salt water in his lungs collected and was brought back up his airways. The silverette coughed reflexively as it came out his throat and mouth. She smiled proudly before letting the water explode upon the tiles, creating designs like a small water balloon.
Soran looked up and smiled gratefully. He didn't what dmage the water might of already done, but it wasn't in there anymore to do any more. "Thank you..." Aqua only smiled and nodded, kind of... glad she had been able to do something nice for these creatures.
Riri only blinked, before going back to her job, a yellowish glow coming around him as she searched his vital signs. "We're not out of the woods yet..." She murmured. "He's starved for water and food and over-heated. We need to get him back to the medical ward so I can hook him to an IV." "O-Okay. I got him." Soran said, weary and worried - how would he ever carry Riku so far? - as he tried to straighten out, but his limbs gave out and he fell to his knees.

If only Ventus and Roxas could of seen their brother... they would be rolling on the floor laughing... but they knew the seriousness behind it... and it didn't take long to get the story.
Dyre walked down the hall, this time, not having to rush for the papers were to just be delivered down the hall. No problem... right? Wrong. "Watch out!" Eyes shot opened as he looked up. "HuhAAAAAH!!" The papers where thrown up and he put his hands over his head, ducking. The sound of the papers coming down all over the place could be heard, but not over the grumbles of the two Shee who had spilled food all over the ground down the hall.
He sighed but waved to the prince who seemed to be Norn's newest wrecking ball. "I-it's ok." He sighed as his shoulders slouched and just was he was about to pick all the papers up, he became quite distracted. He blushed as the familiar and beautiful woman passed him."Ut! Lady--!" And Riri was gone down the hallway. He blinked, standing there in the middle of his papers. "O-oh... y-yea. I under...." She was long gone. "..stand." He sighed more as he shook his head and started to get the papers together once more.
There was never a dull moment.
The night had come quickly thanks to all the new things that Norn... seemed to adopt. There was Aqua, the human and guardian of Regole's Region of Dragoon. Then there was Demyx, the half Nix, half Siren of Lincintia. Next was Terra, the Atterian with a heart. Axel, the imp turned Shee from Tarsa and now Riku, another human that was in the care of the dear medic. There was also the worry of two missing ones. One named Xigbar... and the other... Puppy.
Even if there was so much to learn, it was hard to not be tired after the full day.
There was always tomorrow... and King Jet and Queen Runa were full of questions.
Axel smiled as he looked out over the balcony. He was now fully clothed with Shee attire. He guess he should get use to this... now being a Shee and all. The smile turned into a sigh as he looked up at the moon. This meant... he couldn't return to Tarsa... on the same level that he use to. His wings flapped behind him, still unable to retract since he didn't know how to yet.
He looked back, seeing Roxas changing into his night clothes. They would be attending his honorable meeting tomorrow... where he would be dubbed a 'Sir'. He wasn't sure... if he was ready for such a life. "Roxas...? I... I'm a bit scared..."
Some giggling could be heard over the frogs, crickets and other animals of the night as two lovers laid in the meadow much like Firi and Gin once did. Two sets of blue eyes looked up at the stars, clouds and moon that hung in the sky as they cuddled with each other on a blanket.
The blonde turned, wrapping an arm around the strong torso and slowly rubbed it. "Terra...?" Ventus looked up at the Atterian, a bit more serious than the past hour. "When... Aqua said she was looking for a man named Xigbar... why did you... become so gloomy?"
Inside, two figures could be seen in the medic room. One one the bed, the other on a seat. Some IVS were hooked up to the silverette on the bed as the brunette on the chair sat close, running a brush through the long hair.
Slowly, aquatic eyes opened for the first time, catching the brunette off guard. Riku looked up slowly, his vision still blurred. "S-Sora...?" He whispered as he reached up, his fingers softly brushing the brunette's cheek. "I....I found you...." A soft smile ran over his face as his hand sluggishly fell down a ways, pressing against Sora's chest. His heart.
"The light....in the darkness.... is here...." He whispered faintly, his voice breaking. He tapped on the boy's chest before his arm went limp. "I...I'm ok.... j-just...tir---" He dozed off, his body becoming limp once more.

In the end, it was Aqua - much stronger than she looked - who carried Riku all the way to the medcal ward, while riri attended to Soran.
Minutes later, a misfitted group re-entered the place, two Princes elading the way to their brother. What they found was a handsome silverette human resting on a bed, as Riri prepared his skin for the needle of an IV, Aqua, looking away with a grimace, and Soran trembling on an opposite bed blue eyes swimming with tears.
But the minute he saw Roxas he was flying off the bed to hug his triplet of a brother, his tears now of happiness. And then he was hugging Axel - who had been given Terra's cloak (because well he was still kinda naked and though it didn't bother either him or Terra in the least, they both knew the Shee hated it) - and telling him how excited he was to finally meet him. "He's a really touch-feely person." The Atterains murmured to the former imp, grinning some. Soran sat back down and, because his story was shorter, quickly made introductions and explained what had happened.
The next moment after Aqua was approaching Roxas and Axel both, saying her hello's in her 'nice' sort of way and asking them bth if they ahd seen her one-eyed jackass of a friend. It wouldn't be long after that Demyx did the same for his wolf. Both water mages were upset by the negatives.
They all wanted to hear Roxas' story - but the sun on norn was setting and Soran and Roxas were magically drained, and Axel was rather tired as well from his transformation so they left it for another day. The blonde however did have enough sense of mind to pull his father away for a short, private conversation. He let his dad know... that Xehanort knew the placements of three keyblades. It was... not comforting news. Roxas also seemed rather ashamed - not only because of accidently letting that information slip but because of his abrupt and reckless abandonment of his world leading to that outcome. He had been nervous as he apologized over and over to his father - after all he had been the only one not to welcome him back with a hug; and with his dad, that was never a good sign. Roxas clutched onto his necklace, near to tears as he stared at the white tile under his feet. He had noticed Ven's new 'charm'. "I-I'm ready to live up to this symbol and be the heir dad... but only if you think I still deserve to be."
Roxas pulled over his shirt, brushing out the wrinkles - it had been awhile since he had worn them - when Axel's tentative voice drew his attention. He was about to question the other's out-of-the-blue statement, when he paused.
He had been scared when he had first come to Tarsa too. And, had he of been less hypnotised, he probably would have been terrified of the imp he had become as well. Suddenly being torn out of one's life and fbeing forced to adopt another was not.. an easy thing to do.
He walked over quietly getting on hie tip-toes and hugged the other. Axel was still so tall - and with those wings only appeared even taller (how unfair!).
"Axel... change is scary..." Roxas told him, before tilting his head. "But you also represent the strength of that change - your wings themseleves are telling you... you can face these changes head-on, just like you faced Xehanort to save me. I'm not going to say you won't be scared doing it or anything, but bravery can't exist without fear." The other pulled away, smiling, before taking the other's hand in his. "Besides, I'll be right here with you. You won't go through anything alone."
There was one other scary thing that they would ALL have to face though eventually... and that was finally telling his parents that he and Axel, and Sora and Riku, and Ventus and Terra were more than friends. Much more.
Terra smiled as he stared at the sky. After all the craziness that had happened in one day (seriously, was a Shee's life this always this hectic?!) he was truely shocked he was here, laying under the stars after a nice walk around the woods. He had gotten the chance to see all the wild flowers before they closed up for the night and that had made him incredibly happy.
He had even gotten to formally meet Ventus' evil half. "So... you're Terra?" The look-alike asked, looking the other up and down with a scruntizing gaze. "Yes. Terra Tellus of the Tellus clan. I'm part wolf. And you're Roxas. Third prince of the Shee and heir to the throne." He pointed out in a smug, all-knowing way. The other quipped a smile, before nodding his head. "Nice... to meet you. Just to let you know now though - you hurt my brother, I hurt you. Got it memorized?" Sca-RY! "Hey that's my line!" A half-naked red-head called from inside the room he was dressed in. "Sorry, it sounded oddly apporpriate." Roxas called back.
He sighed happily as Ven giggled beside him, smiling. He'd never felt this at peace before... no wonder the Shee fought for this so valiantly. It was something worth protecting.
He blinked however, feeling the hand rubbing along his chest, sending a pleasant tremble down his spine - quickly forgotten by the other's much more serious tone. He glanced at the other's his eyes suddenly very dark.
He remembered practically being bombarded by the two, a cowardly Nix and a water mistress, at once. "Have you seen a wolf?!" Demyx cried. "A... wolf..." Terra suddenly grinned and in a flash he was circling around the other, heavy paws clicking on the floor and tail brushing Demyx's leg teasingly. "Am I wolf enough for you?" "Terra stop scaring my friend!" He was smacked on the head by his blonde lover. "Ow!" The other was much less fun. "Have you seen my bastard of a friend? He's missing an eye courtesy of me, the other's gold, and he says as-if after every fucking sentence. His name's Xigbar." Terra eyes darkened and he shoved his burnt hands in his pockets. "No, I haven't." He turned and walked off.
"I lied to her. I know Xigbar, and even where he is." He admitted getting a look of shock in return. The blonde started to protest, asking him why he hadn't of told her - but he raised his hand to silence him. His eyes saddened. "Xigbar's... an Atterain Ventus... and worse yet he's my uncle. A Tellus - the worst of the worst." He looked away. "And... he's joined up with Xehanort. I watched him fight Ven... He's gotta be one of the strongest on his team..."
There was silence among them, before Terra looked back. "Back on my world, he was known as a ruthless cannibal who could kill entire gangs without even trying - that's serious power. We were... we were even going to fight before you came to save me. It was the first time I had ever met him - he'd been gone for years doing who knows what, before I was ever born... we all thought he was dead. I guess we were wrong." He sighed. "I didn't want to tell Aqua because I didn't want to know her 'friend' is... well a killer."
Soran yawned tiredly as he ran the comb through the silver locks again and again, lovingly. After re-dressing Riku and drying him out and feeding him via tube, Riri finally announced that he was going to be alright. They would just have to be careful not to let his body exhert itself too much, even in sleep. They couldn't risk fever or something worse.
And now here he was, still awake and not willing to leave Riku's side even for a second and his body was begging him to shut his eyes. To fall to sleep, even for a minute...
He wanted to give in, but each time his eyelids dropped he shot awake, berating himself strongly. Not until Riku wakes up! He didn't CARE if he got hit by lightning (he still hadn't quite figured out how he survived that either) he was going to stay awake until Riku was!
Yeah... when Riku woke up and got all better, he could finally show him his world. could show him the flowers at the water's edges and the waterfall and the woods and they could have uh... coffee together - did Riku LIKE coffee?- and then-
A broken gasp of his name made his eyes widen and he looked down, seeing the glazed, pale shade staring back at him. Riku was awake! The prince relaxed, setting the brush aside and smiling. That meant he would be okay - right? "Yeah... it's me..."
His gaze softened as he listened to the other talk though it sounded like nonsense to him, feeling the hand brush against him. He reached up when it dropped, fingers curling into the other's. "Ri-" He started... but the other was already asleep.
He sighed, but smiled adoringly. "I'm... so relieved." He said, kissing the other's hand. "You're gonna be okay..." His voice got lower as he leaned in, brushing his lips in the other's in a whisper of a kiss. "I love you..."
He laid Riku's back back against his body, but he didn't let go as he settled down beside him, head resting in the crook of the other's shoulder. His eyes fluttered closed as he succumbed to his body's needs. "Ri...ku..."

The Shee tilted his head as the prince walked over, but smiled as he was pulled into a hug. He wrapped his arms around the other, really feeling the height difference now.
He could only smile more as he listened to what his lover had to say. He slowly pulled away, looking down at their joined hands. "Y-yea..." Slowly his green eyes looked back, seeing the bright orange wings coming from his back. Change... It was... going to be real tough.
He smiled though, looking back at Roxas before slowly moving towards the bed that was well big enough for the both of them. He had been assigned to another bed, but Roxas sneaked him out. He really didn't know what a sixteen year old needed a queen size bed... but hey, he wasn't complaining.
"You know..." He stopped and sighed, some sadness running over his eyes. "What... what about the other imps? I mean... every imp can become a Shee right...?" He sat down and looked up at the boy. "But... they're lost... aren't they? I suppose it's easier to just lose yourself to sin than it is to get out of it." He tilted his head and sighed. "My brother told me that no imp liked me because I was different. I wasn't... like the others at all until... we fell. I wonder if there's a way to save all of them."
There was silence before he shook his head. "I guess... if they want to change... they'll have to do it themselves right?" He rubbed the back of his neck softly. "In a way... I kind of already miss being an imp..."
Ven could see the cold look in Terra's eyes... and then he admitted that he lied. "Wha... Terra... why did you lie? You know she's been looking around for him and from the looks of it, she seems really lost withou--" He was cut off, as if Terra needed to justify this lie.
His eyes widened as Terra told more of the truth. The man Aqua was looking for... was an Atterian...? And Terra's UNCLE!? "XEHANORT!?" His sudden cry made the crickets stop and the night birds flew off. When all seemed to settle, Terra continued. The prince looked down, frowning at the information. Cannibal... Latium said that a cannibal was any animal that eats its own kind. Xigbar... ate other Atterians...?
He swallowed, just envisioning all the blood. He closed his eyes and shook his head to shake it from his brain. There was more silence before Ven looked up at Terra. If he could do math right... Xigbar must of left Atteris over 20 years ago... and never returned? When Atterians leave, they usually have a job to do and waste no time doing so... so... what was he doing all those years? "W-why do you think... Aqua's looking for such a man?"

Roxas smiled, jumping onto his bed. The springs of the bed creaked in protest and he sighed laying out on it. He listened to the other talk and sighed slowly.
"Yeah, they'll need to make the decision to change on there own... but you know you can always go back to Tarsa... and tell them that they have the option. Not even you knew about it Axel, so I doubt any of them do either. At least as long as they know they have the choice to change..." He said softly. "You can't do anything if they're happy as they are though... that's what we learned about the Atterains long ago."
His blue eyes caught sight of the other. "Come to bed Axel... tomorrow's gonna be a long day."
Terra's eyes narrowed a bit in thought, then suddenly his eyes widened asnd he sat up. "Aqua's his mate!!" He got a look of surprise. "Before we fought... he said that he had a mate... and that he wasn't the creature he wanted to be. Maybe Aqua and him... are like me and you... it's not unusual for even the toughest of Atterains to act slightly nicer around there mates." He glanced away.
He frowned staring up at the sky. "But then why is he with Xehanort?" He whispered, speaking more to himself then anything. He didn't understand it...

Axel looked back, slowly laying down with the other. He was exhausted... yet overtired. Who knew what tomorrow might bring...
He wrapped his arms around his love before nuzzling his face in the boy's neck. "Yea... maybe I'll go back to Tarsa... and the imps with throw stones at me again." He shook his head and looked up, his green eyes meeting blue. "You know... what I find odd? How come you and your brothers are with older guys?" He grinned as he poked Roxas. "Some sort of Shee kink?" You can take the Shee out of the imp, but you can an imp out of a Shee.
Ventus yelped when Terra shot up and cried out of no where. He fell back and landed on his back before looking up. "M-mate...?" His eyes widened more as his stomach seemed to turn. "But... don't you think.... your uncle is a lot more....older than Aqua? I mean... A LOT older?" He frowned as he watched Terra look up at the moon, doing the same. "She sure didn't act like she was looking for a lover..."
