Was he still dreaming? His MOTHER said it was ok for him to leave... and to find Terra no less! AND SHE BELIEVED HE COULD DO IT ALL BY HIMSELF!? Well... he already did... but if Xehanort was there... it might be even more dangerous than before. He nodded though, the sadness leaving his face as excitement and hope gleamed into his eyes. "Of course!" He suddenly hugged her tightly as he smiled. "Oh! You're the best mother any Shee could ask for!"
He slowly pulled away, smiling brightly at her. "Let's keep it a secret?"
Dyre couldn't help but shake all over. Thankfully his cloak hid his trembling limbs as he finished speaking. He could deliver devastating, happy or important news to the king and queen, the leader of the Peace Army or anyone else with confidence and proper appeal. This was what made him earn his rank as the royal messenger. But... he couldn't even deliver his own message without stuttering like a fool.
If only he knew that Gin and many other lovers were like this at first as well.
He gasped though as he suddenly felt arms wrap around him. His arms held out like a scarecrow as he mouth gaped. His red face only grew more red as his muscles started to relax and slowly his arms moved down. T-this was going... much better than he envisioned. He was glad... that he came back for the flowers.
Petals dropped as he slowly wrapped his arms around her, bringing her closer. A soft smile ran over his lips as he heard the whisper. He slowly pulled away after a moment, a tanned hand running over one of her cute pink cheeks. "Lady Riri... " Did she... really like him like this back...
Before he could ask though, he blinked as he heard footsteps coming down the hall. He blushed even more when he saw who it was. King Jet. He swallowed, not knowing what to do. He wanted to bow... but Riri was in her arms and---
"Sorry if I'm disturbing anything." Jet bowed his head as he gave the two a soft smile before walking into the medic room.
Dyre blinked, watching the door close.
Jet walked into the room, seeing that his wife was already here. He had been right. A soft smile was still on his face was he walked up to the bed, seeing that Ventus was very much awake... his eyes puffy from crying it seemed but he had the biggest smile on his face. The king smiled as he crossed his arms, looking down at his wife and son on the bed. "Alright Runa... what did you promise him now?" He asked playfully.
Axel dismissed the bit of muffle, only catching it to not really know the answer. He did however know something. That he was SO watching Roxas change.
He licked his lips as he watched the prince change... only for him to turn around. His eyes widened in shock... and rejection. How mean of him! He did however forget about it when he saw that soft butt again... and something else that he had missed last night.
Scabs.
He frowned a bit, looking at the nail marks over the Shee's back that were close to his wing scars. He had drawn blood...? This was concerning, knowing that Shee blood was where the Shee's power was. If it dropped then... Well... Tarsa seemed fine. Nothing different at all but---HEY!
His eyes widened as he watched those tight leather pants pull over the other. Drool slowly started to run down and drip on the floor as he licking his lips over his fangs. Green eyes darkened with lust... before the pants were up around his hips.
When the blonde turned around, the imp blinked. He was glad he didn't have a pair of his on... or they would of gotten tight. He crossed his arms and tilted his head, as if he was judging. "Hmm... no. I don't think this will work..." He shook his head, as if he was disappointed. The Shee seemed to be confused, saying that it fit him perfectly but the imp still shook his head.
"I think they would look better... OFF!" He grinned as suddenly pounced the prince, sending them back onto the bed. And evil grin ran over his face as he nipped at the back of the other's neck. "Now it's your turn." He hissed before a few minutes later, more groans and sounds of ecstasy filled the roost of the imp named Axel.

OOC: This should make you happy I got like 16 hours of sleep
Runa laughed, hugging him back affectionately. "Why thank you Ventus." She smiled when he pulled away and nodded. Of course they would keep it a secret. If Jet found out well...
Speak of the devil. Not a moment later the door opened and Jet was walking in the room. At the question Runa gasped over-dramatically. "Why Jet, how scandalous! You think I have to bribe my children to be happy?" She teased right back. The subject was quickly dropped - and the news of Ven's current rise in position was made. But for today he would be left to bedrest to recover.
Outside the medical room Riri was giggling, a sharp blush on her cheeks because she, like Dyre, had not expecting the king of all people to walk in on them. She looked up at the other, blushing some. "How about... after training we could um, do soemthing together? If you know, you're not too tired." She say a sudden cheerful expression explode over the other's face and quickly plans were made. After all - sans anything happening to Soran at this point - he wouldn't need Riri for any reason and there were new messengers to the king and queen now that Dyre had joined the Peace Army so... they had a whole night to themseleves.
Roxas finished his struggle and, once he had pulled them completely on, he actually found them rather comfortable. They weren't squeezing him to death like he thought they would - a little snug for the legs and it left nothing to the imagination but hey they weren't bad.
He turned around, looking a tad shy. "So...?" He was a little confused when he only got a dissapointed stare. He TOLD Axel he didn't have much to show. "They fit perfect..." He said, with a helpless shrug.
What he wasn't expected was the evil gleam and - with a yelp - he was tackled down onto the bed. "A-Axel!" He stuttered, feeling those teeth take over his neck. At the words his eyebrows furrowed. "What do you mean Axel? Oh!" He cried in surprise as he felt the hands wandering. "Oh, A~xeeeel." He groaned and let the other take over.
By the afternoon, Axel wasn't the only limping.
Night had fallen on Norn. The trainees for the Army had all exhastedly gone home. Gin was happily curled up with his wife, too weary to even lift a wing. Aqua was fast asleep in her given room, having been fed by some servants. Demyx was also in a guest room, having delivered the news of his missing friend to King Jet and like the other woman was promsied that they would do whatever they could. Riri and Dyre had already said goodnight and gone back to their quaters. King Jet had retired to bed for that night. In fact, the only Shee still stirring were the guards that kept a constant watch at the portals and the edges of the town, looking for any signs of attack or any signs of the mising prince; Queen Runa who was waiting silently by the fountain for her son; Prince Ventus who was just getting ready to leave; and Soran who had just finished folding up his letter (this time in the shape of a crescent moon) and with a his hands placed over it he murmured 'To Riku'.
He was just about to go to bed when he heard from his open window, the sound of the creaking panes next door opening. His eyebrows furrowed and, in only his pajamas he went to the edge of the window and was just in time to catch sight of red wings fltutering in the night sky. "Ven!!" He called.
His brother, caught and guilty looking came to his window, hovering there. Soran took one look at the cloak and the vial in his hands and knew exactly where he was going. "To Atteris? You're... you're gonna come back right?" He asked, sounding sad and worried. He was quickly consoled however and told quickly the story - and that their mom was waiting for him.
Surprised, Soran smiled, the sadness leaving his eyes. So Ven just just going to make sure Terra was alright. "Oh, then I hope you find him. I'm worried about him too. I'll see you in the morning." The boys said their good-byes and good-nights before Ventus was off once more and soran turned for bed.
He wasn't jealous at all that Roxas was with Axel or that Ventus was going after Terra. He knew it was a tad unfair, that he was the only one left still unable to see Riku but he was consoled by the fact that he had his letters, telling his silverette love that everything was okay. In his last ring of dove letters, he had warned Riku of the upcoming war. His current one now told him of the developments they were making and also his participation.
He had no way of knowing that, as he fell to his bed in an exhuasted heap after that days trying training session, that his letter never made it all the way to Destiny where twilight was just beginning to take the sky. No, his letter fell a few worlds short on a plain of grass, vines and large trees and was ripped about by a curious monkey.
Runa looked up, hearing the flapping of a cloak in the wind, and smiled softly as her son flew down to meet her. She smiled. "You'll be back by daybreak no matter what right?" When she got her affirmative, she hugged her son. "Good luck sweetheart, and be careful." She stepped aside and, after she was happened an empty blue bottle, there was a zap of light, and her son was gone. She sighed, and not a moment later, the guards that were assigned to watch the portal at the fountain had returned. She gratiously thanked them as they handed her the flowers she had sent them out to get, apologizing with a blush - how silly of her to forget Firi's birthday! - and with a nod, let them go back to their work as she retired to bed with her husband.
Terra growled as he stepped into the 'training ring', lowering himself in a protective stance some as a panther apporached as well - looking positiviely ready to tear him apart. He was obviously Atterian - the tail and the horns indicated such - and his scent was terrifingly familar even if he knew he'd never seen this one before. Almost similar to his father's scent, but not as strong. It... held an air of water and salt to it that was too strange a combination - where had this one come from?
The wolf's hair bristled, body already covered in scraps and cuts from his previous opponents (it felt like he was going back to school, being so constantly challenged) yet, weariness was drawing at his body and he wasn't sure he could suffer this next fight especally not against one of his own. Not against one who had seemed to fight so much - scars littered the body, all proud shows of strength, and despite missing an eye had won most of his own challenges without a problem. They had all seen it.
"Hey" He called to the panther, unsure but unafraid to show it. "Think we could put this on hold until tomorrow?" He heard some of the Atterians bursting into laughter around the circle and the foxes and coyotes cackling - even the ones he had easily thrown from the ring. He snarled at the mocking animals. "FUCK OFF!" He turned his eyes back to the panther, waiting for his answer.

Jet yawned as he nuzzled the pillow. He turned, seeing the empty space next to him. Runa was gone. He frowned but remembered that she said that she had some papers to work on... and might be late to bed. She seemed to be working so much lately. He knew that she had extra work, not only being the queen of Norn, but also the leader of the Speakers of Norn. And then... she was also a devoted wife... and a loving mother of not one but three teenagers.
She had a lot on her plate. Enough to even forget one of her dear friend's birthday.
Jet smiled softly, closing his eyes. He was glad... that he had married her instead of the woman he was set up to marry. After the war, he would have to change the marriage laws once and for all. And... before the war... he needed to give Runa a day of luxury.
Dyre smiled as he walked down the hallway, a doctor a hold of his arm. It was late and he knew he needed to get to bed. They both did. They stopped in front of Riri's room and faced each other. They had gone to the swamp and watched the light bugs dance as they gazed at the beautiful moon. They held hand and shared stories and when it grew cold, they cuddled together under Dyre's heavy cloak.
He smiled as he held he hand, blush running over his cheeks again. "Well... I had a lovely time, Lady Riri..." He slowly leaned down and planted a soft kiss on her cheek. "Good-night." With that, he walked off towards his own room, looking back only to wave before turning a corner.
Ventus sighed as he pulled on his cloak. Since he was able to sleep for most of the day, he felt alright for now. His heart was pounding though. What if he ran into something bad. Maybe other Atterians that obviously weren't as nice as Terra... but he was doing this for the man he loved... and for his mother. She was so happy that he had found a.... friend who was one of their arch enemy.
He took a vial to keep him cool under pressure... and if he might have to take a journey out into the desert if Terra was still out there.
He flew off, only taking a small bag that he needed. His red wings flapped through the air but suddenly beat quickly as he heard his named called. He stopped, looking back to see... Soran. He frowned, feeling a bit guilty. He didn't want Soran to know... because he knew that it wasn't fair... He flapped his wings and soared down, hovering in front of his brother's window.
He admitted that he spilled the beans about Terra... and that their mother was allowing him to sneak out one last time to see if he was ok.
Once he said good-bye, seeing that Soran didn't seem too upset, he rushed to the fountain and landed. He hugged his mother and nodded at her questions before quickly rushing into the portal, never looking back.
It was mid morning on Atteris... and the sands were a different color than what he remembered. His blue eyes looked over the rustic colored sand only to see a familiar town... half burned. He swallowed, seeing the remaining smoke from the buildings that a blast had gone through. He slowly found the shadows and climbed up onto a roof. He jumped carefully, the smoke thicker up here but landed on the roof next to the library.
Or what... remained of the library.
His eyes widened in horror as he saw the home of his lover completely destroyed. Black smoke bellowed from the broken window... but the young Shee covered his mouth and jumped in it anyway. "Terra!? TERRA!?" He called in fear as he looked around. Books had turned into ashes as boards cluttered the once neat pathways. Tears started to fill his eyes as he slowly walked over, seeing a remaining piece of paper. It was ripped off of something... and the only thing written on it was: Hatori
Dark animals limped as they walked over, trying to restore their wounds in the small bouts of Darkness. It seemed like the Atterians still reigned over them. This was a good test though. Xehanort could find their weaknesses, and push more Darkness into them that he could before they completely turned into a Heartless.
He watched the battles from his throne, grinning as he saw the wild tactics that the few Atterians who had join push out. They were merciless, cold blood killing machines. Perfect for the attack on Norn. The fighting had gone on all day and many beast were weary... but he didn't call off the fights. He wanted to see who would stay up the longest.
In the circle, a wolf Atterian with spikes running up his spine stood on one side as a panther with matching spikes stood on the other. They walked around the circle, eying each other as they prowled. Xehanort grinned, hearing the question that the wolf had asked. He was very different... not so mindless. But so wasn't the panther.
Funny... the Tellis name was a proud name on Atteris.. but both of these Atterians were good at... running away.
The panther stopped as he heard the question, a gleam in his remaining eye. So, he finally had to battle this one. All the rounds before it, he had won. He had been beaten down at the first match... but he quickly got back up, remembering that strength that he had used long ago. He slowly frowned though, his tail wagging slowly. "Put this on hold? As if." He said nonchalantly. "You really think the Shee will put their fighting on hold?" He frowned more as he heard the watchers badgering the wolf more at his statement.
He looked around before slowly turning. "You really are Ida's brat..." He turned as slowly walked off the circle. "I'm done for today... this is not the kind of creature I wanted to be..."

Runa trekked back into the palace, yawning some. She went off towards to where they stored their many knick-knacks and things. Inside here was replacement furniture, picture frames, shelves, stands, extra chairs, tables and especally inportant, vases. She found one that was pretty - white with pink flowers and white stems and black leaves (called Galaxis) and took it.
Next she went to the kitchen - still smelling some of that night's dinner. Only Soran had been there with her while Jet was off at another meeting and Ventus was resting for his adventure that night - and she faintly recaleld that her brunette son had nearly slipped into his dinner face first he was so exhuasted. she didn;t approve of how hard Artios was pushing him so soon - but she knew there would be no other way around it.
She filled the vase with water and went back to her room. She heard Jet stir in bed and blinked in surprise. He had been waiting for her? She smiled, answering his questions softly. Yes she was done with her work, yes she was coming to bed. "I'll just be a sec." She said as she wrote a note out, "I feel terribly ashamed of myself for forgetting Firi's birthday!" Jet seemed to chuckle andreassure her that it wasn't all bad, that she was just busy. "I bet Gin was unhappy he couldn't spend it with her." She said softly in a sad sort of way. Before, when Gin wanted the day off to spend with his wife he would either call the training off early for the day or even allow Ven to lead for the day, just to give him a taste of what it was like, so he could be with Firi. Unfortunetly, he had been allowed no breaks - or more so, he was so determined to make sure his team was at their best he wouldn;t allow for himself to have any.
She heard however, that Gin still managed to surprise her. She wasn't sure how exactly, but...
She looked back and smiled. "Be right back." she snuck out of the room holding the vase steady so had not to disrupt the flowers or the water, and went down the hall to gin and firi' room. she paused outside the door listening for any... unusual sounds, and when she heard none she dared to sneak open the door. to her relief, they were asleep.
She tiptoed inside, setting the vase and letter on Firi's nightstand - and then blinked in surprise as she caught, in the moonlight, something shimmering and silver, newly made it must because the polish was fine - earrings. She smiled suddenly, seeing what Gin must have given to her that day. It was a musical note of some kind - treble clefs if she wasn't mistaken - and they were rather beautiful.
She tiptoed out of the room, shutting the door without a sound before hurrying back to her room - finding Jet still waiting up for her. Excitedly, as she changed in her sleep clothes, she told him about what she had found unable to keep the news to herself. Gifts had always excited her.
Riri blushed at the kiss, unable to contain her smile. "Good night dear Dyre. Until we meet again." She giggled softly. She watched him walk off - only to pause and wave, as if he really didn;t want to leave. It made her chuckle and wave back. Then he was gone.
With an affectionate sigh she turned and went into her room, shutting the door softly. It was time for bed.
"Terra is gone." A voice growled in the black smoke. Flames were still dying out in the blackened library, everything gone and destroyed. The blonde seemed to panic, turning to face the voice and out of the smoke came a red-eyed man, his eyes narrowed and cruel looking. There was a twisting of magic around him, keeping him from breathing in the smoke it seemed. He had been watching the library closely, waiting for his son to return - and instead had found this one.
"I've seen you with him. You must be his mate." Hatori scoffed. "I cannot imagine how you did not already know. You're not very attentive are you? Xehanort dragged him off before he could lose his fight with dignity. I suppose he decided to stay there since he didn't come back. Or he died. The weakling."
He snarled in disgust, a hand unconciously curling around a circular scar on his forearm. It had faded some with age, but it was still apparent if one looked closely. "It's a shame knowing you've mated with someone so pathetic, isn't it?"
Terra's ears flipped back, making no comment about the Shee. This ebast was honestly stupid - like the rest. They were good people - if you asked for them to spare your life they would give it. They were merciless and heartless like themseleves. they never charged into combat with them like they were doing now...
They were caring and helpful and pure... and he wasn't going to fight them.
His ears shot up however at his mother's name... and the very odd statement afterwards. He ran forward suddenly. "Wait!" He called, then skid to a halt when the other looked back, golden gaze spearing into him. "What... do you know about my mother?" His tone was sounding a tad more dangerous, as if Xigbar making any sort of rude comments would not be accepted. This sparked interested around the circle.

Jet sighed as he laid in silence, hearing some footsteps come down the hall. He sat up when his wife came in... and seemed a bit surprised when she noticed that he was waiting for her. No matter how tired he was, he always liked to fall asleep with Runa in his arms.
"So, you all done now?" He whispered as he looked at her in the darkness. She nodded and said something about Firi. Jet only smiled and shook his head, laying back onto the bed. "Don't worry... I think she understands. I heard she spent all day with Lilo and had a great time in the Wood.... plus Gin surprised her with something special." She stated that she would be right back and nodded, closing his eyes and sighing softly.
In the room down the hallway, a blonde woman slept in her loving husband's arms. A soft smile was on her face as she slept, not knowing that her queen and best friend was even in her room.
When Runa came back, Jet wrapped his arms around her when she came into the bed. He blinked as he heard how happy Runa seemed about the earrings and smiled. "Yea...? Well... I know that Firi's first concert was next week... and that it was canceled because of the pre-war..." He sounded sad, knowing how much Firi wanted to sing. This war... he wished it never came up...
More tears littered Ventus eyes as he covered his mouth with the cloak, trying not to breath in the deadly smoke. His eyes suddenly shot open and he twisted around, seeing the man coming from the smoke. His eyes watched in horror as the man grew closer, feeling like he knew exactly who it was. Hatori...
He frowned, but didn't back up any. His eyes widened though, hearing that Xehanort had taken his love away. His eyes grew dark with hate, hearing how he talked about his son that way... but... He looked away, growling. "It... is pathetic." This was the same man... who killed Terra's loving mother. He turned, looking at all the ashes. "I hope he dies..." His words were cruel and cold... and it hurt his heart so much... so much that he wanted to curl up and take his life for even saying such words...
He slowly turned, looking at the evil man straight in the eyes with no fear. "But I want to see it for myself."
The panther continued to walk off when he suddenly stopped, hearing the wolf call out. He slowly looked back before turning to the wolf again.
Panthers were larger than wolves. A grown and old adult panther was MUCH larger than a young wolf. Large paws slowly started to move towards the boy as a devilish grin ran over his features.
As he walked, he saw the wolf move backwards. "Ida was a dud in who my brother fell head over heals for. She was weak and an outcast and cheated death." He moved faster, growling at the wolf. "And if she really is your mother, than you and I share some blood." He stopped suddenly and frowned, staring the angered wolf in the face. "I wanted to kill your mother... but I had other roads to walk. I found... my own mate... and stayed far away from Atteris." He looked around at the others before putting his head low and seemed to whisper. "I am no longer the beast I was back then..."

Runa sighed a bit, placing one of her hands over Jet's in a comforting manner. "Hey..." She murmured softly. "We'll make it through this. All of us, and then when it's all over we'll make up for everything we lost." Her fingers squeezed Jet's, and she smiled. "We'll be okay Jet..."
She knew however how tough it really would be. the losses, the grief, the pain, the injuries - what if... what if they lost one of their own in the battle? Ventus could miss or swing or Soran wouldn't have enough experience...
And what of Roxas? Did Xehanort know that the had a wayward son out there - a son who know te lcoation of all ten ancient keys? It was terrifying to think how much trouble her youngest could be in, separated from them all.
Or what if... Runa looked up into Jet's face, the angles on the planes on his face, the bright blue eyes, the soft long brown tresses, and that smile she had fallen in love with the moment she had seen it...
What if she lost him?
Hatori's blood red eyes caught Ven's in an unnerving stare, and they stood off against one another. Silence reigned over them for many moments, and it seemed like they were guaging one another, like opponents would.
A weakling mated a weakling. This one would not last three moments against even the weakest of beats, of that he felt sure. And he was certainly not worth a millisecond of his time.
Finally the leopard drew his lips back in a snarl. "Then enter one of the portals brat. Let Xehanort read your intentions in your eyes." He turned away. "But if he finds them unsatisfactory, you won't come back alive."
The leopard turned away walked back for the broken window. "Either way, if he comes home or stays there, Terra will die." And then he was gone.
Terra's ears flipped back and his tail fell between his legs as the much LARGER beast started to approach him again. He backed down quickly, he wasn't foolish...
However he growled at the insults, his eyes flashing when- ...'than you and I share some blood' Terra froze eyes wide in disbelief.
"You... are Xigbar? My father's brother?" He questioned softly. When he got the affirmative, he chuckled at the irony of it all. Here he was, facing off against his uncle who he had never once even met - no wonder he recognized the smell of him. He was a Tellus. Had his father of come, he would have been deliciously happy to face off against his elder sibling.
He turned away then, and began to trek back out of the ring. "Then I suppose you'll be happy to know my mother is dead. My father killed her." His eyes narrowed. "By the way, my father wants his fucking flute back."

Jet looked down at his wife, only smiling softly. He hoped... she was right. Of all his years being king... he had never been so frightened. He only smiled down at her and nodded, squeezing her hand back. "Yea... we'll be alright."
He knew that the army was working hard... and that everyone would be strong under Gin's hand. His best friend had turned out to be quite the leader... but he had it in his blood... and even from the first day he met him, he knew that Gin was a strong and loving fellow.
He slowly laid down, bringing Runa close. He leaned over, softly kissing her sweet lips and pulling her close. His rested his chin on her head, looking out into the darkness. There was still no sign of Roxas... and if he knew what Ventus was doing right now... Balance help him.
Ventus growled as Hatori turned and disappeared through the windows. His fist clenched, wanting to go right after Hatori and slug him in the nose... but he knew that wasn't going to help any. He frowned, looking around the place that Terra once called home. "Terra..."
Suddenly he jumped through the window as well, landing on what was left of the roof. Portal he said... Blue eyes scanned the town before he slowly looked behind him, feeling a cold breeze go though his hair. There was nothing COLD on this world beside the water that was in the oasis.
His eyes widened, seeing exactly what was behind him. A dark portal. That must of been the one Hatori was talking about. He looked back at the desert, seeing if any Atterians were around there so he could make a get away... but... he frowned, slowly pulling his hand around the charm. "Terra..."
He looked back at the portal, feeling the bitter cold that it gave off. He closed his eyes before turning away from it. "I'm sorry....mother." With that, he jumped backwards, into the portal.
The seagulls called up above as the water crashed on the waves. Silver hair once again fluttered on the soft wings as the shadow of his hand protected his eyes from the tropic sun. He had looked once again... but there was nothing to be found. Still no letter from Sora.
He pulled his hand away and he frowned, pulling up a brown bag and pulled it over his shoulder. It was heavy, but light enough so that the raft wouldn't be over weighed. He had finished it that night, not knowing what to do with himself anymore. He walked over to it, strapping one of the handles to the wood pillar in the middle that held a wind sock. He checked his pockets, making sure that he had everything.
He looked back at the island, only to sigh. This was it... he was setting sail... alone. He hadn't said good-bye to his mother... or Kairi. His mind was fogged, worried about the boy he was longing to see again. He got onto the raft and pulled a string, making the sail open up. He grabbed an oar and pushed the raft off the beach with it.
The raft floated in the water, making it ripple as it slowly drifted off out to sea. The silverette sat by the pillar and looked out. His journey to find Sora had begun.
The panther blinked as he watched the wolf turn away and started to walk off. He looked away though when he heard what had happened. His brother.... had killed Ida...? The girl that he spent almost all his life watching and waiting for?
He slowly looked around, seeing the others look at him before he growled and roared at them, making them back up as he slowly started to leave the circle as well. That sounded like something Hatori would do...
He stopped though as he heard the last part, his eyes widening. He looked back, seeing the wolf heading out another way for the night.
"So... what the fuck is this old thing?" The bluette asked as she picked up an old piece of wood from a very badly beaten up bag. "HEY! Don't fucking touch that!" The older man stood and suddenly ripped the wooden object from her hand. His golden eyes shined as he looked down at the flute, his hand running over it as if it was the most precious thing in the universe.

Terra walked out of the ring, snapping his teeth at anyone who dared stray in his path, nudging a door open to walk into one of the halls. He was not in the mood. He was aching all over atop of the burns he had receieved the night before he was now littered with bruises and cuts from all this nasty fighting.
And Xehanort was of course getting a kick out of it. He was ready for bed, regardless what that fucker said. If they were humans... this inane cruelty would be illegal. At least, thats what he read in the law sections.
Heh, he wondered what the books would have been like if they had been written by Atterians...
A shift in power however subtle, made him freeze. Someone else had come in through the portal. He didn't know what made him care to look - maybe it was the tug of familiarity in that shift, or the noise of a grunt made as that someone found this area rather freezing, or maybe it was the hint of scent - fresh and foreign...
He lifted his head, sniffing the air just to be sure - and... and he wasn't wrong.
No... oh no...
Ven...?

Coldness wrapped around a body as Darkness circled the young prince. Farther and farther he fell into nothing... but he didn't fear it. No... Terra was here somewhere... The man he loved.
Suddenly his feet touched the ground and he gasped, breath coming in front of him as he quickly wrapped his arms around his body. He looked around, panic running over him as he saw the long hallways that seemed to last forever. He quickly looked behind him, noticing that that portal... was gone.
There was no way out.
He frowned, rubbing his arms. "Kaha....?" 'Where....?' His eyes widened as he covered his mouth, something coming out completely wrong. He swallowed before looking around. "Mai hona..." He whispered, not even understanding what he was saying anymore.
Maybe... this wasn't such a good idea...

Terra heard the faint voice and turned harp to his left down another twist of hallways. He followed his noise, surprised how accurate it was in the cold. He had never really experienced scent-trailing in this temperature before, but he had always though that scents would disappate easier with it.. yet to him they seemed just as clear as they were in the heat.
Maybe that was because he was a wolf, animals accustomed to hunting in the winter month were snow littered the ground.
He turned against down the right, and then took another left and then-
"Ven!!!"
He must have frightened the hell of of the boy, because he jumped three feet in the air. He would have found it comical... if he didn't feel so panicked. For the sake of his mate's sanity, as he slid to a stop in front of the other, he changed back to his human form and stood from his crouching position. "What are you doing here?" He hissed, sounding rather unhappy - okay down right mad. "Are you Shee stupid or something if he finds you..." He shook his head, afraid of that outcome, he didn't want to think about it...

Ven continued to look around when suddenly someone was yelling... INSIDE his mind. "Aaaaah!" The boy jumped and almost fell over as he twisted, looking back to see.... a familiar Atterian. His face suddenly brightened as the wolf came to a stop... and then changed into the man he had missed so much.
"Terra..." He whispered, his heart fluttering as he looked into those true eyes. He frowned though as he was called stupid and was about to say something when Terra said 'he'. He swallowed. Xehanort was here too...? He looked down and sighed. "Mai ana ora bachana tuma..." He blinked, still not understanding... 'I came to rescue you...'.
He suddenly heard the sound of someone coming down the next hallway and gasped. As quick as he could, he pulled the cloak from him. A blast of energy came from his body and pushed against the Darkness, making the walls bend in a way one could never imagine. 'Come on!' "Ana para!" He cried as he grabbed Terra's arm and suddenly a flash of light shined down the hallway.
The beasts and Atterians growled from the throne room, feeling the power of the Shee. The man on the throne only grinned, watching almost all the beast rush out and down the halls towards this power.
When they grew close, a flash of light shot out through the hallways, making them stop. When the light was gone, both beasts and Atterians looked around the corner, seeing nothing but an empty hallway.
A large thud came crashing down from the trees as two bodies fell onto the Wood floor. Leaves shot up into the air and floated back down as the two groaned. Red wings shot from the back of one of them, fluttering but the Balance started to turn and twist around them, making the blonde's stomach turn.
It didn't like the Atterian...
Back at the palace, Jet shot up in bed, feeling the pull of the Balance. "What is that??"

Had he been like Ven, he would of felt a little more awkward about his appearance - no shoes, his shirt was merely tatters, his pants had holes in them, cuts were everywhere as well as blisters and the palms of his hands as well as the bottoms of his feet were raw red and bleeding - but all that he really didn't care about because his lvoe was in a lot of danger right now.
Terra looked at the other, waiting for his response - but what came out of his mouth was definitely not English. His eyes widened. "W-What... Ven?"
He shook his head. "You need to-" get out of here He tried to finish but the sounds of someone coming down the hall made him freeze - then suddenly Ven was crying out in that weird tongue of his and pulling off his cloak...
The power was immense, the twisting of the walls made him sick and made the Atterian's knees buckle and if Ven wasn't suddenly grabbing and pulling him through pure whiteness he would of fallen.
Ah, the whiteness. It was like a breath of fresh air after being stuck in the confines of a closet for several hours. It was refreshing yet... yet somewhat painful to experience. The light came at his skin, feeling hot like one would when they got close to a fireplace and roasted there for too long...
And then suddenly it was gone. Wind was whipping through his air and they were falling through the trees. It was a short fall, maybe a foot or two, but once that left Terra dazed and out of breath as he hit soft.... grass?
The wolf coughed, lifting his head, feeling dizzy and hurt. And he like Ven could feel a pulling and a twisting in the air...
but to him it felt like an uncontrollable urge, a desire to say something he had been holding back for far too long and if he didn't do it now he would never have another chance to...
"Ven-" Terra gasped out, sitting up and grabbing the Shee's collar, staining it red as he pulled him up and into his lap. "I love you." And without further ado he pressed his lips to the other's.
Runa sat up as well, her eyes full of worry as she could think of only one person who could cause this feeling. Mother's intuition once again. "Ven!" She was out of bed in an instant, snatching her robe.
Something bad must of happened.
Soran was startled awake by the feeling of the Balanace's instability. He blinked away the blurriness in his eyes and yawned, sitting up before getting out of bed. He was only sixteen and already he felt too old for this.

A yellow eye looked around the corner, also seeing nothing but the eyes of the beasts down at the other end. A Shee...? Xigbar growled as he pulled away, thinking. Why would a Shee come here... and rescue an Atterian...? That seemed... impossible.
Ven coughed as he pulled himself up onto his knees, looking around. They were indeed in the Wood, right under the practice tree. The light bugs were already flying around, making designs in the darkness of the night. Frogs croaked as crickets sang their night song.
The sound of fish splashing in the nearby swamp could be heard, eating the bugs that dare got too close. Other sounds from night creatures could be heard in the bushes, but none tried anything funny to the two.
Ven hardly was able to look at Terra before his collar was yanked. "T-TERRA!" He cried, some birds flying away from the sudden loud noise. He was pulled onto the other, his mouth gaped from shock as blue eyes came after him... only for him to hear ancient words. His eyes shot open. "T-ter--" Then lips were on his.
He instantly melted, his eyes fluttering as he felt those soft lips once again like a poison he couldn't quit. He ran his fingers roughly through the brunette hair was he kissed back, bringing them into something passionate. He whimpered and moaned as he pushed his body onto the familiar one, tasting his sweetness and getting high from the feeling once more.
Jet's eyes widened as he watched his wife jump up. Ven...!? he shot up too, grabbing his robe and chasing his lover down the hall. As they rushed down the hallway, a door opened close by and a blonde poked her head out with a sleepy looking face. "W-what's going," she yawned before continuing, "on?"
She blinked though as her husband opened the door, looking out with her. Another door opened close by and Firi looked over, seeing Soran walking out. "Oh Soran... do you know what's going on?"
In a hotter world, an imp panted as sweat ran down his face and his body was a tangled mess on the floor. His wings flapped tiredly as his tail wagged. The day pretty much consisted of nothing but... well... you know. To the point where it didn't hurt anymore...
A devilish tongue licked up some salty liquid from his fingers, not minding all the liquid all over the place. Some of it was hours old while some was fresh. His green eyes looked back, seeing the blonde passed out on the bed, as sweaty as he was. He grinned as he nudged the blonde with his foot. "Hey~~~ How about a thirteenth time?"

Terra groaned softly, slipping his tongue along the other's, bring them into a kiss that seemed almost desperate - like they hadn't been together for years.
To lessen the pressure on his hands he wrapped his arms around the other's waist, bringing their bodies closer. "Ven..." He whispered as they broke away, breathing heavily to gain back their breath. Terra was just about to lean back in to give the other another searing kiss - when something bright fluttered between his and Ven;s faces, tickling then noses.
Terra jerked away some, rubbing the ticklish feeling away from his nose with the back of his hand before glancing off to the side where he saw the light going. His jaw dropped some.
This alone blew the oasis outta the water. He'd never seen... such life before. "Ven... you... you live here?" He never thought such ecosystems could possibly still exist - lust trees spread for miles, frogs, insects, birds, and this strange colorful things that dotting the ground in all shapes and sizes most of them bundled up as if in rest, everything a perfect world must be...
He chuckled, the sound a bit pained. Why couldn't he of been borne a Shee? "I'm so jealous."
Runa didn't have time to stop and answer question she just kept running. She was out the Palace doors in minutes and she could see the nearby guards all looking around, feeling the Balance had shifted as well. She gave the order before her husband could even think it. "Search the area. Find Prince Ventus!"
Soran yawned again, shrugging some at Firi's question. "Nut-uh." However, in the deep silence of the night, his mother's order came loud and clear and the brunette;s eyes went wide. Gin frowned some, placing a hand on his wife's shoulder as a comfort before he too was racing down the hall after his friends. Well, might as well join the rush.
"unnnn..." Roxas groaned softly, pushing Axel's foot away. "g'ng 'ed." He slurred, turning on his stomach. His wings stretching and fluttered up, they had burst out at some point during their last two 'sessions' and had he been paying attention eh would have noticed something...
Spots of black, as if a child took a pen to his wings and started to dot at it, were on the whites of his wings. The blackness was bleeding over...

Ven's heart was pounding in his throat as he kissed the other one. He didn't even notice how desperate the kiss was... but... he knew that he never wanted it to end. Terra was safe. Terra was in his arms. Terra... said he loved him. Like any teenager, this consumed his whole self where he couldn't see anything... but Terra.
But something got in the way. A light bug. He blinked, looking as it flew between them and up into the treetops. Some saliva ran down his chin as he watched it then look back down at the Atterian. His stomach no longer felt the pull of the Balance... but felt more like it was putting towards Terra. He smiled softly as he ran a soft hand down one of Terra's rough, bruised and scratched cheek. "N-no Terra. Don't be jealous... because you live here too now. Y-you don't have to go back! We...we have tons of books here too... and you've never read any of them... and... and best of all... we-we can be together..." His voice came out different, but not in a scary/clingy sort of way... but more in a tone that sounded sad... as if the idea of being together was impossible because of the circumstances.
He closed his eyes and put his forehead on Terra's. "I love you, Terra..." Slowly he pulled away and reached up to his right shoulder. He suddenly ripped the traditional clothing of a Shee, revealing the bite mark in the junction of his shoulder and neck. The full moon shined down on it as Ventus wrapped his arms around the wolf's neck.
They didn't stay like that long though before he heard some wing beats and then loud rustling. He pulled away, only to look back to see a familiar.... silver wing. "M-master Gin...?"
Firi frowned as she watched her husband rush down the hall... then flapped out a window. She looked back at Soran, nodding softly as she took his hand and together they hurried from the palace after the king and queen.
Axel's foot dropped heavily onto the rock ground as the imp laughed. "Oh yea...?" He panted out tiredly, not knowing what the prince had said. He slowly, and painfully, climbed back onto the bed. His long limbs seemed to wobble and shake as he straddled boy again, looking at his bare back.
Black nails ran down the other's drenched spine, massaging his shoulders. When the wings came close and pressed on his face, a wet tongue slithered out, licking them gently. "Mmm, come on Roxie..." He whined softly... but the prince was dead to the world. "Fiiiine~~~" He leaned down, running hid tongue down the other's spine before carefully pulling away. He laid down next to him, feeling all the wet spots all over.
He reached out, brushing some sweat from the other's face as he slept and smiled. "My little prince..."
