The Chasers: Darkness' Fold

The rabbit eared woman growled as she pulled her gown away. The fire wouldn't put out. She looked back, hearing the cries.
This was getting way too loud for her. Quickly, like the others, she rushed back towards her room to get dressed.

Gunnar growled as well as he turned and started limping/running back towards the living quarters. "Of all the FUCKING nights for this to happen!"

Namine and Samael rushed down after Roxel and Tensai, all their faces looking frightened.

Samael slammed his hand onto the button, opening his and Lucina's door. He rushed around the room, pulling on some clothes and grabbing Luci's guns, ammunition and holster. He ran out of the room but did a 180 as he spun around, snatching her ribbon from the dresser.

Namine and Bonnie moved quickly in the room, getting dressed with whatever was around. Bonnie changed into her outside heels, know for the claws in the front.
Why couldn't she of gotten normal legs like her father?
Quite honestly... she didn't even look like a mix breed. She had more Viera in her than hume. The only thing she got from her father was his dirty blonde hair color... but that made all the difference since all pure Viera have white hair.

"BONNIE!"
She blinked as she heard named called, catching the sudden items that were tossed to her. She nodded, pushing them into her item belt. They were going to need a lot of potions...

Roxel rushed to his dresser, grabbing a black shirt with musical notes on them and jeans, his boots and special necklace that his fathers had given him. He stumbled over Moxley and cried, quickly getting up and rushing out of the room.

Gunnar winced as he got into his pants. Mako eyes glanced at the silverette changing next to him and frowned. He pulled on a shirt and coat that his father gave him.
The Chaser symbol shimmered in silver on the back. He looked around, remembering that he lost his gunblade to the Darkness.
Shit.
He sighed as he quickly ran back out, his limp getting better.


"CRASHING!?"
Olette cried, looking back out the window in horror. How... how did this happen!? AND WHERE WAS TERRA!?

Fuu raced back, followed by Axel close by. Fujin had stopped next to Aqua as Axel raced to Seifer and Olette, looking out the window. His eyes widened as he whispered. "Roxel..."


The golden wolf whimpered as it reached a faded boarder.
The end of this world.
Blue eyes looked back, seeing the Darkness burn away everything and coming towards him fast. The wolf slowly laid on its stomach and whimpered more, its ears flat on its head.

A sudden light burst up though, stopping the Darkness.
No, it wasn't stopping it.... just slowing it down. The blue eyes looked up, seeing the hole still drip of the filth and whimpered again, looking around. His mate and pup was gone... He knew his mate was above... and the pup... he was safe from the Darkness.

But seeing the Darkness in front of him and slowly swallowing up both worlds... he knew... there was only one thing he had to do.

He had to disappear before the Darkness could take him completely and there was only one way that could happen...

Yellow eyes seemed to dim as a remaining light made it so that it wouldn't be over powered. Enough Darkness fell from his mouth so he could talk, his teeth stopping their chattering.
Yellow blue eyes looked from Roxas to Aqua.
"S-s-someone... someone needs to...kill Terra." He could hear muffled barks and complaints but his eyes glowed more.

"L-listen to me!" He cried, his body slowly burning a black color, like when Gunnar had Geostigma.
"R-rant and..nn.... Rave... have him now... they... want me now... and...if they get it.... they will be unstoppable. The Atterian's power, the power of the Paopu fruit... everything. Y-you must kill Terra before my inner world is lost." He closed his eyes and winced, the corners of his mouth being eaten from the acid.

His eyes opened again, looking from one to the other once more.
"T-tell Ten.... it's....it's not his fault and that... weh.....we both love him..." His eyes closed again before his shaking started up again. "H-h-hurry..."


Purple eyes reflected fire as it grew closer. The blonde handed his leader her things, making sure he was careful with the ribbon. When he got the order to step back, he nodded and ran back to the group.
That had had a discussion a few hours before about staying with the group, no matter what.

Everyone nodded except for Roxel. Tensai... what was... he felt a strong hand pull him to the door, looking back to see the Second in Command.

When the brunette heard his name he nodded, opening the hatch and looking down at the plane below. He took a deep breath, jumping out and soaring down.
Of course, they weren't going to have an easy time getting away from Balder... seeing that the were on a crater. His coat flapped as he jumped down, landing on his feet hard. Pain shot through him and he winced but didn't have time to stop.

The minute he jumped own, he rushed off and jumped INTO the crater, knowing the ship wouldn't make it there. He cried as the gravel let loose, making him fall down towards the bottom.
No way.
Green crystals started to surround him and the many weapons appeared again. He gripped onto a sword, making the other disappear as he slammed the blade into the rock, making him jerk violently.

His hand reached out, quickly grabbing Kadaj's arm as he and Samael went flying pass.
The sword groaned in the rock from the weight but didn't budge. He blinked, looking out to see more of the team falling into the crater.

Roxel cried as he was pushed out by Namine... and unfortunately, she fell fight after him.
They screamed in volume as they hit the edge of the crater and started to roll down.
Bond appeared and the blonde-redhead slammed the spikes into the rock, making him slide down a bit before it finally held. More weight was added as Namine grabbed his ankle, making rocks fall down onto Roxel's face.
"OUCH!"

Bonnie was the last to jump before the ship went back into motion. Her long legs made her spring out and just took the direction everyone else was. The rim of the crater.
When she landed, she landed sideways in a position that you would see most surfers in.
Her clawed tips on her heels dug into the ground, making her flip. While she was in the process, she ran her hand down her gun, making it form into a sword.

The sword was slammed down into the rock, making her turn quickly. Heels slammed into the rock, holding her more securely as she reached out, grabbing the middle of something.
A ribbon.
Her amber eyes looked down, seeing Lucina and Tensai dangling and quickly gaining their footing.

Everyone ducked low as they heard the crash extremely close.
Then... there was nothing but silence of freezing air.

A puff of breath came out as Samael closed his eyes, nuzzling close to Kadaj's warmth as they dangled from Gunnar's hold.

When Ven's eyes opened Oathkeeper disappeared and the two looked down at him - hopeful and scared. but the words that came from their friend and brother were not ones of comfort. They were ones of lost hope.

"Ven you can't-" the blonde started.
"You fucking nutcase how-" Aqua continued but both were quickly cut short.

The two listened quietly, hesitating even after he finished. It was finally Aqua who shut her eyes, bowing her head. It... it wasn't supposed to end like this. Not her two best friends...
But maybe somehow Terra had known his life would die out like this - he had told the Chasers again and again never to hesitate if he ever showed signs of... of becoming his father. The... the possibility of the wolf winning the war.
Her heart twisted in fear and her stomach plummeted in disgrace. How... how could Ven ask - no, order - her to do such a thing? Then again... how could he not?
He didn't desereve to suffer like this - nor did Terra.
"Cruel to me to the very end, huh?" Aqua asked humorlessly, tears working their way down her face. Then she smiled and nodded slowly. "Got it..." She leaned over, brushing her lips against her best friend's forehead. "Good-bye Ven..." She whispered. She brushed her hand through his hair - an almost affectionate ruffle like she used to when they were teenagers and Ven had been WAY shorter then her.
She stood, holding back a sob as she looked down at her dying friend before turning and hurrying to the pilot lounge. There was nothign she could do for him now... except carry out his final order.

Roxas watched Aqua silently - feeling angry and betrayed. Just like that? He looked down at his brother, seeing the pain in his expression, the suffering in his eyes.
"How ironic..." Roxas whispered cynically, "That the one not meant to exist will outlive both his brothers." He wasn't even sure if his brother could hear him anymore...
He lowered his hand, placing it atop on of Ven's, holding it securely as the other shook. He needed to go join the others... he needed to help end this war.
How did two little kids take down four of the strongest people he knew?
"Well if I'm the only one with our surname how will anyone know we're siblings?!" Sora complained.
"Oh I don't think we have to worry about that." Ven commented offhandedly, as the three all shared a glance.
They smiled then - all three having the same amount of joy in them.
"How can you both do this to me?" Roxas whispered bitterly, feeling hot tears falling from his eyes.


Seifer just cursed as he flew the ship after the kids - however he was certain their landing was going to be ten-times safer than the kids were. As he was preparing to enter the atmosphere - the Northern Crater, not a good place - he heard footsteps ascending the stairs.
"We have orders." Aqua whispered. Something in her voice made the thers apprehensive. "From Ven."
"Yeah?" Seifer was the first to brave.
"We need to find Terra... and kill him."
The shock of the statement nearly sent him and the ship spiraling. "WHAT?!"


Kadaj cursed as he and Samael hit the edge of the craster - and instantly he knew where he was. He could feel the mako energy nearby - nearly TASTE it it was so strong. He sliped and grit his teeth as he fell, and then, as he saw Gunnar's hand he reached out, grabbing ahold. He felt his body jerk and Sam's hands tighten around him as they hung there, held up from the center of the crater only by a sword. At the center... was a pool of lifestream.

Moxley barked in terror as he was thrown out with Roxel. His foxy eyes stared about as he was jerked out, coming lose from his savoirs hand and slipped down the mountain. The fox-lion jumped, landing on a rocky desposit with ease, and sat down naturally, looking like some sort of mountain lion.

Lucina and Tensai cried out as they jumped from the ship, hands clasped. the two rolled a little and then slipped down the side. Like some proverbial boomerang Ten's keyblade snaopped into his hand and he, like the others, slammed it into the mountain without pause, feeling his leaders hands clasped around his waist.

Lucina looked around, taking account for veryone and sighed with relief. They were all ok... now they just had to find a way to get back-

A sharp noise, like a bullet reflecting off of a shield, drew everyones eyes and ears up. And there they saw what should have been a comforting sight. It no longer was.

"D-Dad?" Tensai stuttered, looking up at the figure that had appeared just over the rim of the crater. However, the look on his father's face was... discontenting. In a situation like this usually his father would be a little more... caring? Loving?
But no instead, his lips were twisted in a sadistic grin, his eyes glowed with a dark intent, and in front of him, placed like and upside-down T, was his mallet, hands clasped over the top of the handle. At Ten's call, Terra's grin only turned more malicious.
"Daddy's dead boy."

The Darkness was slowly moving towards the wolf as it kept it's head down. There no nothing he could do... but wait.

Blueish yellow eyes opened again as a dark hand reached out towards Aqua as she walked away.
"Aquafina...." When she turned back, a soft smile ran on his face. "I'm glad... we b-became friends..."
His arm slowly fell as he relaxed the best he could on the floor. He could only hear whispering now, seeing silver hair leave as well.

His now pure, yellow eyes looked up at Roxas.
"W-we hav-n't left Rox. W--ill always be with you... e-ven if you can't....see...u..." He winced as his eyes closed. Black steam started to lift from his body as he started to pant softly.


Olette blinked and looked back, seeing Aqua come into the room followed by a silent Fujin.
Axel looked back too, frowning at the look on Aquas face.
Olette swallowed as she looked at her husband's question.

Then the room went silent as everyone's mouth dropped.

"WHAT!? YOU CAN'T KILL MY BROTHER-IN-LAW!" Axel cried out.
"He's right! It will kill Venny too!" Olette whimpered.


Mako eyes started to react as the brunette looked down. Suddenly flashes came into his head as he before he looked away, hearing the noise as well. The wind coming into the crater made his spiky hair shift as he saw Terra, growling at the words.
Samael looked up at the man, his purple eyes shining as he shied away in Kadaj's shirt.

A growl came from the female brunette as she looked up with the man.
"YOU BLOODY BASTARD! WHAT DID YOU DO TO TERRA!?"

Roxel whimpered as his hold on Bond started to slip. He looked down, his long blonde and red hair whipping around from the wind. If he let go... Namine was coming with him. He groaned, reaching up with his second hand and clasping it around the keyblade.
Multicolored eyes looked up, seeing the figure looking over them as if they were little rabbits (no offense to Bonnie)... in a den that was just founded out by a hungry... hungry wolf.


To their surprise, and those in the main ship, the sky suddenly started to turn dark from black clouds. The wind picked up, baffling everyone and giving bad turbulence to those still flying.
Gunnar's eyes widened as he saw something falling.

Snow.

[Reno]

Aqua looked down, hearing Ven's words and she smiled. "Me too Ventura." She said back. Then she was gone.

Roxas looked down at the other, hearing the garbled words, able to understand them. His eyes shut and he bowed his head, feelign old fears creeping up on him. He wondered... when he died what would happen to him? To Axel? Would 'heaven' or whatever the fuck it was allow split nobodies onto its plain? Or would they be cast out like they had been in life?
He didn't want this to be the last time he'd ever see Ven again...
"I-I know..." He said, looking down at Ven. "Hold on Ven." He whsipered, squeezing his hand lightly, just to let him know he was there - and he wasn't leaving. He wouldn't let his brother die here... alone.


Aqua gave Olette a sharp look - one she usually gave her when she stated the 'well' duh'. "Stop it." she hissed at the three. "Ven's dying with the capbility to DIE down there. Terra's lost his mind to Rave, and he'll have to watch himself try and kill everything he ever cared about. What's crueller for them, killing them... or letting them suffer?"

She looked away suddenly, her eyes dark yet determined. "I'm not asking you guys to be a part of it. Just let me out Seifer... I can handle him."


Lucina grit her teeth, feeling anger spark through her at the familar voice - something that had wrapped so completely through that Terra's wasn't even regonizable anymore. Agaainst her she could feel Ten shaking - but from the look in his brillant sunset eyes she knew without a doubt it wasn't from fear. It was from fury... and hate.

Moxley hissed on his rock, falling onto his stomach - ears flipping back. He did not like the feeling coming from the man - it was dark and unnerving.

Kadaj looked up at the man as well, his eyes narrowing some. He knew almist instantly that Terra was not as he should be. He had seen the man and hints of the wolf both - and it was neither they were facing now.

The brunette tilted his head. shutting his eyes and smile only growing as the flakes dotted onto his face and colored his hair. "Sister come and take them while they are weak, I already am getting the revenge I seek."

The Chasers gave a cry as the whole ship shook volently due to the clouds. Seifer's hands tightened on the controls, struggling to keep it balanced and get through the clouds.
Aqua's eyes sparked and she stumbled over towards the deployment door, placing her hands towards the 'open' button. She could jump out now - she would be fine.
But the kids, if they waited much longer, might not be.

Ven's eyes stayed closed, the yellow almost pushing through his lids as his body continued to burn from the Darkness that was coming from within. The steam continued to rise as his flesh started to burn, turning black as if he was painfully turning into a Heartless.
His hands started to form into claws slowly as he gripped onto his brother.

Tears fell from the side of his eyes as he panted out. It was so painful... but the most painful part was...
Tensai...

"I promise I'll protect him no matter what!"
"Maybe... I shouldn't make any more promises..."

Every single promise he made.... was broken.


Olette's mouth opened and closed... but nothing came out. She looked down, her eyes swelling with tears. "Venny... Terra..."
Axel's hands turned into tight fist. He was about to ask Aqua if he could go down with her but... maybe... she should do it alone. he wouldn't have any mercy on that girl... but Aqua would for Terra.

Their thoughts were all baffled when the ship started to rock back and forth. Olette fell over with a cry as Fuu slide towards the door Aqua was by. The silver haired woman looked deep into the blue before nodded. She quickly pressed the 'open' button before Aqua could reach it than grabbed the woman's wrist. She pulled the bluette closer and gave her a passionate kiss before pulling away. "You better come back to us."

Axel quickly found his footing and rushed down to where Ven and Roxas were. They had slid some but Roxas didn't leave the other's side.
He wondered who else they would lose...
He walked over to them the bed he could and sat down, looking at the..... man.
If it wasn't for the spikes... he... probably wouldn't recognize this person.

He frowned and placed his hand on Ven's chest, hearing it sizzle. He closed his eyes and frowned, pushing some energy into him.

Like Sora a long time ago, another wall was formed around the light. One of fire.
The golden wolf looked up, seeing the extra wall, making the Darkness slow. This... would by them time...


Snow continued to fall, making the atmosphere even colder than it was before. Everyone could see their breaths as they breathed, the chill running through them. Especially Roxel.

Almost a moment after Terra's request, pink lightning should out and the clouds rumbled in pink.

My dear brother, at your request
I'll get rid of these pesky pests.

Lighting suddenly hit the rim of the crater close to Terra, making the rocks break. A mighty arctic wind blew down, slowly pushing the heavy rocks from their place. As the large rocks started to shift, smaller boulders started to fall down into the crater, right towards the group that was hanging on for dear life.

Rabbit ears flatted as a boulder was heading right for her. Seeing that she was the highest, and with no extra weight, she tried to jump over the large rock... but failed pretty badly at trying to land.
Her claws dug into the rock as she was pushed over, her but balance was off, making her fall back.
"AAAAAAAAAAH!"
She fell pass the rest of the Chasers, but not for long seeing that everyone would join her.

A sword was shoved into the side again and jerked the woman hard, making her pant as she looked down at the glowing energy that was still a far a ways down.

Another boulder smashed into Bonds, demounting it and making the young boy and woman started to fall.
"ROOOOOOOOOXEL!"
"TEEEEEEEN!!"
They cried before they suddenly stopped. The sound of ripping filled their ears. Namine almost choked as her collar was pulled but she swung against the wall and panted, feeling Roxel wrap his arms around her waist. They both looked up, seeing Bonnie's claws in Namine's shirt.

A boulder smashed into another sword, making it uproot. the owner, and the two that were attached fell once more before the sword was pushed back into the wall down further. Gunnar panted, sweat starting to run down his face no matter how freezing it was.
Unfortunately, the grasp Kadaj had on Samael had loosened... and the younger boy suddenly dropped.
"SAAAAAAAAAM!"

The blonde hair boy cried as he was flipped back, falling down the crater. He hit the side and started to roll down it harshly, making dirt and dust and snow pick up. Small hands however caught a ledge and held on tightly. The boy picked himself up, some cuts bleeding on his face.

He looked up, seeing the other Chaser's way up above. He pouted and whimpered, seeing how far Lucina was. Tears started to fill his eyes but he frowned.
Slowly he rose his hand and seemed to concentrate on it. His purple eyes started to glow as he focus on his hand more... and suddenly a purple flame lit up.

It started to grow and grow, forming into a ball. His eyes widened, the ball reflecting in his eyes as he suddenly pulled his hand back... and threw the ball towards the sky.
The purple orb shot pass the Chasers and Terra, pass the snow that was falling.
The ground started to rumble as the orb pushed higher and higher until it disappeared into the black clouds.

The clouds suddenly parted, showing the sky once more but not too much. A horrible sound boomed through the world as the only open sky started to.... burn away, an eerie light burning through.
From the light, a sudden noise screeched out. It was like a highly computerized trumpeting sound. It was so overpowering, it chilled the souls of the people who heard it.

Suddenly, something else started to fall down along with the snow. It looked like snow, felt like snow and acted like snow... but the moment it touched the earth, it turned black.
Ash.

A more familiar sound came from the burning sky. Wings.
The black clouds quickly tried to cover the burn but before it could, a large beast show out from it, and flew down towards the crater. One might say it was as big as Bahamut.

Roxel's eyes widened, his mouth gaping open as he saw the creature.

It was a huge black beast with large black wings and powerful claws.
But what made Roxel become speechless was that...
This creature... was missing a head.
The only thing that the creature had on the end of its long neck was a flare, looking like a horn. In the middle of the horn was ancient writing in purple, much like the writing Samael had shown Tensai.

Each time the creature flapped its wings, ash fell down onto the earth.
Another horn blasted, making everyone's insides shiver.
The creature descended, heading right for the Chaser.

"OH FUCK ME!"
Gunnar cried out, feeling fear run down his body. WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT!?

................

The large creature flew right by them. Everyone turned their heads to look down at where the headless creature was head and saw it was hovering under Samael.
The boy's purple eyes lightened, a happy face on his features. He suddenly jumped onto the bird's neck and pointed up at the other. Another large flap and the creature came up, coming close to the group hanging on.

The blonde boy smiled at Lucina, nodding happily was he motioned her to jump on.

Everyone looked at each other before jumping onto the creatures back.

Bonnie sighed, looking at Lucina who was now close. "Of all the bloody thing I've seen in my liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!"

Another powerful flap and they were out of the crater, and pushing through the snowy sky.

Seifer grit his teeth, seeing Aqua rushing off for the door - man she was fucking crazy! He couldn't believe she was really going to do it...
... but maybe she was braver than them all. If he had ever been ordered to kiss his best friends... he no no matter WHAT the circumstances, he could never do it. He couldn;t help but wonder though how she'd deal having that on her conscience for the rest of her life.

Aqua's fingers twitched as the button was pushed by manicured nails dones in light blue nail polish and she follow the curves of the hip and the definition of the arm, towards the red eye and beautiful face of her lover. "Fuu..." She blinked as she was brought close, nt allowed to say another word, and her eyes shut on instinct, greedily kissing back.
When they broke away, she was a little flushed. She smirked however, her confidence showing through. "It's not me you have to worry about coming back. Back when we first met, I danced circles around Terra AND Ven both." Her face lost some of its cheer though, realizing how morbid her mission was. She reached out suddenly, throwing her arms around the other's neck and hugging on tight, hesitant to let go. "Wait for me." She whispered, before stepping away, turning... and jumping right out of the ship.

Roxas winced a little as the fignernails turned into claws, feeling them puncturing his skin. He shook his head. "Come on Ven! Hang in there!" I know you're stronger then this!

He looked up though when something red caught his eye. Seeing Axel was a great relief for him. He said nothing to the other, but only looked down as he traded energy with the blonde - his heart aching as he remember Sora as well. It had been Ven who had struck the idea then - not knowing that one day in the later future the same technique would be used to keep him alive, if only barely.


Terra didn't flinch at the lightning - or rather RANT didn't flinch. After all, this body was one with the land - with its skills and stamina, lightning was but a mere fly.

Moxley looked up and yelped in panic as the boulders came down. He flattened his body further against the rock, the charm in hishead - light blue unlike his mother's red - glowed with vindiction. a stream of light, sparkily like glitter, surronded him. the rocks that came bounced harmlessly off. However, nearby he heard his master giving a cry.

Kadaj looked up hearing the horrible rumbling. "That sounds ominious." And it looked as such too. His fingers squeezed in Gunnar's own - seconds before a boulder jarred them all. He didn't scream or anything girly like that -if death were to come he'd never do it cowardly. However he did grunt as he heard the metal splitting rock once more and his body smacked hard into the cliffside, momentarily weakening his muscles. And it was with a forbidding feeling that he felt the weight that had once been securely around his arm suddenly get lost. He looked down, watching the boy fall, hearing Gunnar scream above him. Whoops.

Tensai heard the yells all about him but he could not turn his eyes away - not even was he heard Roxel screaming his name and he wanted nothing more then to turn around and scream back. Not even as he heard Lucina called for Sam and Bonnie, wishing he could do more.
But he couldn't. Everything was so quick and abrupt he didn;t have time - nor nearly the magic, to stop what was going on. All he saw was a large boulder rolling down the hill like he was fucking Indiana Jones and was gonna be able to get away.
Huh with a dad like Terra you'd think he'd be a little more used to situations like these.
Lucina gripped on tightly to Tensai with one hand, reaching in her pocket for a item she had been saving for a speacial occasion. This was speacial enough. She felt the hourglass bottle and pulled it out, dark purple liquid sloashing inside - and she threw it. Her aim was true and it hit the boulder.
Tensai saw only purple dust clouds pop up before he shut his eyes, fear written over his face. Ting!
He opened on eye in confusion, feeling a small piece of rock smack into his forehead. "Ow!"
Where'd the boulder go?!
Lucina only smirked. Midgar's items were useful for something. Mini-in-a-Bottle. Tch, not all the shopkeepers were so sleazy.
The leader looked down, seeing in relief that everyone was alright - if not a little more spread out then before - Sammael was what bothered her the most since he was the farthest. But in this position they were all just sitting ducks. They NEEDED to get out of this crater.

The solution to this problem, however, came from the most unlikely place: Sammy himself. Everyone, even Rant and Rave, had to pause as the ball was thrown up - and watched as the strange creature appeared. Lucina was disturbed. Kadaj thought it was a cross between Bahamut and Quezacotl. Tensai was reminded of the hieroglyphics of egyptian birds - and of course Samael's expert drawing skills. Moxley was just terrified out of his poor puppy wits.

"OH FUCK ME!"
At Gunnar's cry Kadaj couldn't help it. "I'd love to, but now isn;t the time." He was given a dirty look and shrugged. What;d he do? He only told the truth.

However, despite some minor misunderstandign about which side the bird was on - they quickly got Samael's hint. for a boy who spoke knew words, he could communicate meaning and commands rather well. No one paused to jump on - except Moxley who only did so at Tensai's insistence. With a powerful beat of wings they were soaring towards the sky - and then something soared past THEM. Something... blue.

Kadaj and Gunnar saw who it was clearly, before anyone else. It was Gunnar who cried her name. Second later, Tensai did too - but his, unlike Gunnar's wasn't full of surprise. It was full of horror.
Because she was going for his father.


Falling was a very surreal, yet blood-pumping experience, Aqua decided as she fell through the parting clouds, Tsuami appearing in her hands. She tilted her body so he was flying head down, and began to twirl like a butch ballerina, water crystals from the snow collecting around her until they began big streams of wtaer. She was hardly aware of passing the large bird - though in the back of her mind was relief seeing all the kids were alive and well - because her sights were set on one person.
Her blue eyes locked with unnatural yellow, and the grin morphed into a scowl at the sight of her.
She tooka deep breath and screamed, "RANT!!!!" She swung Tsuami hard and the streams shot down like geysers from the sky, and she saw shock and alarm as the brunette bounced away. The water smacked into the rough surface of the crater rim- smacking apart rocks and leaving little craters of their own. Pretty soon it would look like the surface of a moon.
She spun her body around so she was feet first, aiming for on of the water filled craters - and when she crashed into it a large splash of water arose, spilling onto frozen land.

Terra tilted his head, baffled, until bubbles arose from the water and a head arose. Slowly a woman picked herself out of it - unharmed. She stood, unaffected by the cold it seemed because she did not shiver, her hateful eyes landing on him.
Terra growled. "How dare you look at me in such a disrespectful way, Yet I'm am surprised to see it is your friends you do betray. Yet I see that blade is a little unfair, let's even the odds, you better beware!"
"Fucking ryhmes." Aqua hissed furiously. "The only DISRESPECTFUL fucking person I see is you. How DARE you do this to my friends."
The elder only grinned, but suddenly lifted his mallet, making Aqua tense in preparation. However what happened next shocked her to the core. Terra brought the mallet down - but not in attack. No, he merely slammed it into the ground. The head of the mallet... shattered like glass.
What?
The Atterian ran his fingers along the handle, like a musician would loveingly stroke a guitar, and suddenly it glowed with a familar golden light - growing and reshaping, becoming all blunt edges and immaculate metal and shining gold under harsh browns like the cold surface of a heart with the warm undertones udnerneath yet hard to see.
Quciksand.


Tensai looked down at his father in panic - but at the sight of the blade his eyes grew larger still. He... never remembered it to be so beautiful before. Or terrifying.

Lucina, who was watching the events below, only cursed as she reached for her revolver. She snapped open the cynlinder, and to some peoples shock turned it around and let the bulelts fall from it and into her hand, putting them in her hip bag - only to grab out new shots. "Guys, Rave's still out there." she reminded, trying to pull everyones eyes away from the fight below. she placed in six new bullets - though they were shaped no differently then the others, these were different because though they had the shape of a bullet they had nothing within, and weren't gray but crystal clea like glass - Blanks?
It was actually a solution drawn up by herself - and an invention Ven made for her, as a gift really. Rave was in for a hell of a surprise. "Remember, Bonnie, Gunnar, no bullets." She sai, remembering her father years ago shooting the girl in the ehad - yet had no effect.

Kadaj snapped to attention, and glanced at his wrist, seeing the four materia he had managed to save in his bangle still. Three were green of magic, one was blue of support materia. The green and blue seemed to be connected by a fine piece of open metal. He mentally went over the names of their pieces, before glancing around the sky. "We can not exactly... fight well from this standpoint - unless we want another possibly dip into the lifestream." He pointed out.

[Rikugurl]

Axel winced as he poured a little more energy into the other below. He knew that once Terra and Ven were gone... he'd have his energy back... but... he didn't care. Ven could keep it. Maybe it would help him... find Sora.
He sighed, looking over at Roxas, seeing the tears.

Fuu smiled as she hugged back. "Always." She replied before her wife jumped out. The red eye watched and sighed, hitting the 'open' button again to close the door. She shot a look to Seifer and frowned. "Well!? Land already!" She had never, EVER bossed Seifer around in her life... but they needed to get down there before they ended up crashing.

Olette shivered as she kept looking out the window... then suddenly cried out as a huge creature flew by them. What... what the hell was that!?


Gunnar sighed as he watched the crater get smaller but blinked as he saw the bit of blue. His mako slowed time, making him see who it was.
"AQUA!" He called out, watching her dive towards where they came from.

The others looked over the creature's body, minding the beast's wings and the soul chilling sound it made every now and then.

When Lucina brought back their attention, everyone looked up and nodded.
Bond of Flames appeared in Roxel's hand.
Bonnie held fast her sword and so did Gunnar.
Namine call upon her Blitzball... though she doubted it would do much in a fight like this.

The brunette looked at the silverette and frowned, looking down. With the mako, he could see much further than anyone, seeing the life force in the center of the crater.
He looked back, seeing Samael near the creature's neck.
"SAMMY!"
He called over the winds and flapping.
The boy look back, his purple eyes gleaming.
"DO YOU KNOW HOW TO STEER THIS THING!?"
The boy tilted his head but nodded.

Well... that was some relief.
Now he really wanted to know what world this kid was from.
He looked over to his sister, asking what kind of plan she might have before the clouds closest to them started to glow pink.

What are you doing up here on this bird?
Doesn't matter, it's you I preferred.
Now that daddies are dead and gone
it's time to play with the little fawns.

Suddenly a dark wind swirled down from the clouds and onto the unsteady tail of the beast.
Yellow eyes gleamed as pink hair whipped around from the wind. A large, tooth smile peered across at them as her sleeves suddenly whipped out. A sword coming from one sleeve, a gun from the other.

[Reno]

Roxas reached over, placing his hand over Axel's bringing more of his own energy down into Ven. His other hand, still clasped with Ven's refused to let go, bringing it close and into his lap. the wisps of darkness had no effect on him. He was the balance of light and dark. Besides it wasn;t like HE could become a heartless.

"Fairholm if YOU'D like to do my fucking job go fucking ahead and- WAIT THE FUCK IS THAT?!" Seifer cried out, seeing the creature, as well he caught glints of metal and small figures ontop of the beast...
No fucking way.
Wait he had a job to fucking do! He looked out from the sights and through the radar - trying to find a safe place to land. Further away from the fights was a larger part of the lip of the crater - just enough. He flew in that direction, seeing his wife keeping her gaze on the creature while he wheeled the ship around and landed it expertly.


Lucina heard Gunnar's yell, and looked around trying to come up with some sort of elaborate plan. She had none. "Long-range spells." She said - thinking Rave would be flying around them - she didn't expect her to walk onto the tail of the beast. "Uh... scratch that."

Tensai however, even despite Lucina's warning and the talk going around him couldn't tear his eyes away from the battle below. Aqua and Terra... sure he'd seen them fight but only in playful jest before. Now... Now it was like a sparring match gone terribly, terribly wrong. He watched almost seeing their frames going in slow motion - hearing Aqua's cry, his father's yell, the charge...

However the cold draft finally drew his eyes away. He never saw them connect, didn't see who won the first swing. His head turned and eyes locked onto Rave's and he felt rage.
Now he was an incredibly bright kid - always had been. Sora and Riku had seen it by the time he was two that he was going to be a genius - in his own way of course, and Terra and Ven learned of it the more they grew with him.
But Ten, like all small boys with curious natures, had his stupid moments. Like when he wanted to paint his room so he started smashing fruit to make paints. Creative yet it brought in a lot of ants. Or like the time he thought it would be a good idea to 'dye' his hair with nail polish - and then when it got all tangled had Roxel help him cut out the tangles and prayed Terra and Ven didn't notice. OR like the time he wanted to open a packet of ketchup but it wouldn't and he thought heating it up might help so he put it in the microwave.
His stupid times were rare, and mostly comedic in the after math. this however was a stupid decision that would not be funny later. Just stupid.
What did he do? Tensai charged towards Rave, no plan, no style, no defensive in mind. His name was called by more than one person - but it went unheeded. Just blind fury and the need to see her blood fueling him as he rushed down the back of the large beast, over ridges and curves of bones - and striking out with the sharp ends of his keyblade. "DIE!!!"


Below, a battle of a different source was being ducked out. Terra's mind was being searched, every secret being unlocked, every corner being touched. nothing was hidden from Rant, but specifically he was looking for data on the woman in front of him. Her weak points, her style, her moves - getting the advantage for him was effortless, with someone of such power as Terra. He was unstoppable.
Aqua however was no one to fuck with. And though Rant thought he was better then her by just being in the advanattage point, he forgot to heed some of Terra's thoughts - most of them consisting of the ones to watch the fuck out for the water user (no matter how well he knew her).

The two got into their respective stances. Aqua, left leg back, right slightly bent, Tsuami held in front yet curved in a slash; which helped with movement and flow like water. And Terra was, eerily, in his relaxed state - dominant hand dangling the blade down pointing to the ground, other hand behind his back and legs evenly apart - and Aqua almost could see the real Terra there. Giving her that confidant ass smirk, the come and get it gesture, the playful banter and harsh insults...
Aqua shook herself from the memories - and as one they charged each other. Straight confrontation was something both of them were well trained at - but it was Terra's domain, not her own.

The two keyblades cried out as they hit, sparks flying. The water keyblade had to brace her legs against the pwoerful first strike - but then as they disconnected and come back to each other she fell back into the flow, the two fighting a familar dance that Rave was only copying.
Aqua slashed high - big mistake. Terra ducked, his teeth showing as he grinned and she saw the fangs of the wolf, the claws of the beast and his left hand shot out, only ghosting against her stomach - put it felt like a punch to the gut. Aqua grunted as she flew backwards from the 'strike', smacking into the gravel and snow.... snow.
Her eyes glittered and she spun artistically back to her feet, tiding like water and she waved her sword up then down like a wave. Clumps of snow formed into harsh pointed icicles flying through the air - and then going down straight for Terra like a volley of arrows.
Terra, instead of dodging, snuck into the ground. Bad move. Aqua charged forward, her body like a natural scouter as the invisible ripple went over the world, tracking the brunette and his path effortlessly. She jumped, not missing a beat as she tapped across the unsharp tops of her icicles, and as she hooped from one to the next they turned into water.
Terra reappeared some feet away just as she landed and spun on her heels, bringing her sword in a big arc, and the water flowed around her in a big long bubbles, before smashing into him hard, throwing him back like he had to her.

Ven slowly opened his eyes, the yellow blazing out at the two. With his free... claw, he reached out, wincing as a light suddenly appeared. Aero Maxim shined in his hand, the Darkness wisp around it. He slowly handed it over to Roxas before panting again.
I'll find another way... to get rid of the my keyblade.

Fuu grinned and shook her head. "It's Umi now, remember!" She called back, quickly getting to her feet and looked out at the window, seeing the large creature fly higher. A frown ran over her face as she saw something pink.
It was safer on the ground... but what exactly could they do down there?
She looked at the stairway and frowned. "ROXAS! HOW IS HE DOING DOWN THERE!?"


Gunnar nodded. He could do that.
He was about to stand when he suddenly saw someone rush by him. His eyes widened as he saw who it was.
"TENSAI!"
"TEN!"
"TEEEEEEEN!"
"TEN-CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!"
None of the calls stopped the boy as he rushed to the grinning girl.

Yellow eyes watched the keyblade and the moment Tensai slashed down, Rave put up her sword to meet it.

The world around them froze.
Everything stopped.
Did you think the only thing I could do was rhyme?
No, I'm like you... I can stop time.
Your fathers before were so weak
I see they gave you the same technique.
Her eyes continued to glow as the only things able to move were her, Tensai and Rant.

The stalemate was broken and Tensai was pushed away.
She tilted her head and giggled, pointing the gun at him now. A glowing pink energy started to form at the tip as she stared him down.

Take death and call it a day
Therefore you can go back to your daddies and play.
You won't have to deal with anymore pain
So hush child, and get ready to be slain.

The power of the energy had grown now and it suddenly shot out towards Tensai. As it moved across the creatures back, time started to come back.
Her pink hair whipped back as so did her dress as the energy flew out.

[Reno]

Roxas blinked at the other's movements, confused, until the light appeared. He looked up, eyes widened as he saw the familar keyblade and as Ven offered it, he raised his hand from Axel's tentatively. Time stopped, Roxas hesitant fingers held out for the handle, Axel's face twisted with concentration and light red glow emitting from his hand, Ven's unrecognizable form tangled around like he had just been struck by a car.

Upstairs Seifer was just flipping the ship's switches to idle - no need to turn them off incase they needed a quick getaway. Olette's eyes wide with muted horror, Fuujin's body was stuck in the attempt to get up from her seat.


On the rim of the crater, water was shoving Terra over, throwing him into the ground with all the force of a body slam and tackle combined. Then everything froze - the ripples and buddles of water easily seen frozen in a way no kodak moment could ever truly define and no words could ever righteouly describe. Rant studied it quietly, before parting the water aside like one did curtains, stepping from it and looking afar.
Aqua was still in her stance, body straight like an arrow, extended with Tsuami and her feet poised like she about to do the tango. Had he been in a more playful mood he would of walked right up to her and used her precarious footing against her - like giving her a tap to the temple to watch her fall.

But no, now was not the time for games. He could feel the connection in him twisting behind one inner world was frozen, the other in motion - it was a strange feeling, being able to sense another in such a personal way. He didn;t such like it, so it aggravated him more. He charged forward with reckless abandon.


Tensai continued to move forward, ignoring the various cries of his name, frantic yips and barks from his companion, ignoring the sharp looks and the painful scoldings he'd get later, ignoring everything except his anger and hate that was boiling over and darkening his heart.
He struck forward - and blades smacked together. Her words were merciless and heart-breaking, making a pang curl in his heart - then he was shoved away.
When time stopped with his spells... it was never quite like this. His spells has never been THIS strong. He could no longer hear the beating of the birds' wings, the fsounds of the fight below, the rining of metal accessories ringing around from his friends, or the harsh shouts of the wind. It was a disturbing experience, one that left him feeling utterly... powerless.

He tensed however as the gun aimed at him and he fell into a defensive stance, heeding her words. something... really bad was coming.
The power gathered, and made an audible explosion that left him breathless - and deaf to the sounds of time snapping back.


Roxas grabbed the keyblade and pulled it to himself.
Ven's hand fell back to his body.
Axel continued his tiresome work.
Seifer flipped the switched.
Olette's face twisted with more worry.
Fuujin made it to the window.
Lucina saw the pink energy but her brain not quick enough to catch up.
Moxley continued to bark and yip, unaware.
Roxel, Namine, Bonnie and Gunnar finished off their yells.
Samael turned to look.
The bird beat its wings.
Tensai screamed.

Kadaj reacted. His brain quickly felt the after-effect of the time spell, the glint of the powerful blast, Tensai's terrified demeaner and took it all in stride as if this happened every day. He mentally praised himself for his earlier choice as his wrist twisted around and he called the spell. "Wall, All!" NOW who was rhyming?
The magic barrier materia and blue support materia both glowed, their magic combining in the bangle. A star-like struture in the colors of blue and purple, built to look like a window of skyscrapers, formed right in front of Tensai and spread outwards largely across the whole group ro ptoect them all - seconds before the attack hit. When it did the crash was loud - but the flimsy-looking barrier held up strongly, as if made of bullet-proof glass.

Aqua panicked. She had an other worldly experience where one split second Terra was on the ground, then he was inches in front of her and her spinning momentum had her twisting her waist around. She felt the blade grazing her back and she gave a cry - but it was better than being cut in half. Blood droplets splattered the ground.
Aqua continued her turn and her own blade came up, smacking hard into the others shoulder, shoving him back. she scoffed, seeing the other stumble back. "You may have his technique but none of his wit or his speed. Terra could of avoided that easily."
The boy posing to be her best friend scowled, scrambling to his feet, the fight yet to be finished.

A powerful flap brought them higher into the sky, the sound of the bird's horn blew as it echoed the huge explosion.

Gunnar's eyes widened as he saw the powerful blast go over them as if it was nothing but flare.
He sudden turned around, looking at Samael. "SAM! KEEP THIS THING FLYING LOW! WE DON'T WANT TO GET INTO HER DOMAI--"
His eyes widened more as darkness covered his clear vision of Samael and could only see yellow eyes looking up at him.

This world is already my domain
How many times must I explain?

A suddenly movement made Gunnar block his gut... but even then he was throw off powerfully. He smacked head on into Tensai and they both rolled towards the tail of the beast. The brunette caught his feet and landed, pulling Tensai close so he wouldn't fall to his doom.

Everyone got into stance as they stared at Rave. Growls and angry eyes watched the girl as she just stood there. Her appearance hadn't changed at all...

Suddenly her arm with the sword smashed down, and everyone gasped.
Black liquid came from the creature's spine as it cried, slowing dipping away from the clouds.
"YOU BLOODY CHEATER!"

"Oh really now? Who's keeping score?
I'd like to play the game, but this is war.

She grinned as sliced a few more cuts into the beast, the black blood pouring from it. From this blood, yellow eyes peered and Neoshadows started to jump up at them.


Fuu growled and quickly left the window. She slammed her hand into the 'open' button and her breath caught at the chill that blew in. She looked up, seeing the huge creature flying lower and crying out more.
Her eye then moved to see the battle at the rim of the crater.
"Wait for me."

She sighed and shook her head. What the hell... could they do now?

[Reno]

Tensai breathed shakily as the blast bounced away, shivering in realization that he had almost died. He hardly had time to gain his bearings before the girl heartless was on the move again.

He looked around in panic as nothing but darkness overcame then, his heart beating quick. The next thing he ehard was a cry from someone and suddenly felt something bash into him, his body jerking with anothers. He yelped in pain, but hardly had time to process what was going on or that he was about to fall head-over-heels from thsi bird thing.
And had it not been for Gunnar he probably would of died. He looked up at the other before looking up.

Some of the Chasers gasped sharply at the cruel attack she made on their savoir, feeling the bird slowly starting to lose altitude.

Kadaj scoffed in disgust. "Do you let the heartless do all the fighting for you?" He murmured softly, his fingers twitching as he watching them rise. He lifted his hand, another green materia glowing. "Contain - Freeze."
Blue ice covered the heatless in one fell swoop like a snoestorm - and with a snap of his freezes the ice cracked and shatter into pieces, bringing the heartless with it and fluttering away like glitter, a small fog rising up.

Lucina meanwhile, watching the spell take place and suddenly rushed forward, carefully dodging the patches of ice. Her gun was held in both hands pointed towards the floor, but red sparks were slowly to collect. She came easily to the side of were the languid looking Rave was, hearing her voice ghosting over them all over again as she rasied it. She pulled back the hammer, her figner curling around the trigger. Think fast. She thought as she puleld the trigger.

The shot rang out clear in the winter light - but it wasn't a bullet that shot from the rim. It was a red beam of pure, concentrated magic. Ven had combined the idea of materia and her idea of 'lasers' into this.


Seifer walked up next to Fuujin, looking out at the all-out war going on outside as well. "Are we just going to stand here and watch?"


"A copy-cat, is that what you say I am? Just for that i'll make sure you're life ends with a bam!" Terra threated, swinging the keyblade at her, but she jumped backwards a fair distance. He breathed in, then breathed out hard, black flames flying after her.

"Tch." Aqua rolled her eyes. Fire against water? No contest. She swung her blade once more, a wave of water slamming up to meet the blaze even as she rushed forward to cover the distance. Steam and smoke trailed in their wake.

With clangs and bangs the blade kept meeting, their fight quickly covering the area of the rim and Aqua continued to through him further and further backwards. Until they reached the edg - and terra surprised her by jumping.

Aqua blinked, before rushing to the side in horror, seeing the other sliding down the bowl of the crater, getting closer and closer to the mako. He oddly looked like he was snowboarding.
"Terra!" She cried, his eyes flickering indecisively, her eyes flickering around.
"Fuck." She cursed, before she jumped afterwards, hopping from the jutted out boulders.

[Rikugurl]

Yellow eyes narrowed as they watched all the Heartless freeze and then shatter.
"So tough with your majick
Your fighting skill however are tra--"

A sudden shot ran out and the girl stopped, actually blown down by the bullet. Her sword dug into the creature as her gun retracted. A sleeve was brought up, feeling her face.
Darkness leaked from the hole in her eye, the hole going right through so one could see through her head.

Darkness sparked around her, as if she had lost some sort of connection.

Bonnie's ears flattened as more Heartless appeared from the gash she made but paid little attention to it. Dashing out, she swung her blade, only meeting Rave. She was pushed back and a blast of black energy made her go flying. She skillfully flipped and slid onto the creature's back once more, her claws digging into its back and drawing more liquid.

Another horn was blown from the creature as it continued to fly lower.
Namine growled, seeing large wyverns start to fly down towards them from the clouds. She turned, quickly slamming her blitzball at them.
Gun shots rang out from Bonnie's gun, shooting the dragon like Heartless down.

One yellow eye narrowed as she looked at the blonde woman. Her gun returned out from her sleeve as she growled, quickly dashing for her.

To Lucina's surprise, a purple line was sent between her feet and the skin below started to rip in a disgusting way.
Before Rave could clash her weapons with the Gen 2 leader, three large creatures sprang from the ripped skin, like the Heartless that came out of the blood.
Their looks were Heartless like bit they had large helmets on their head, the purple symbol on it like the bird's....'face'.

One cried an unearthly howl before slamming its huge claw into Rave, sending the girl back. She however flipped and landed swiftly, only to twist around and catch Gunnar's strike.

"You are all becoming a pain
Why not accept death? Are you insane?"

A suddenly shot of flames came around them, making a large boarder to claim the battle field. Multicolor eyes looked back at Tensai and nodded, grabbing his hand and pulling him towards the fight.


"What else can we do?" Fuu frowned as she looked out but gasped when shock as someone flew by them.
"Well I'm not waiting around!"
"OLETTE!"

[Reno]

Lucina smirked as the hit succeeded, not even grimancing at the disgusting, deformed look her head had taken. served her right. She tensed as the girl ran for her, leveling her gun - but to her surprise it seemed her team wouldn;t be the only ones fighting back. the bird would as well.

As the heartless started to appear, Moxley growled racing straight into the fray without a lick of fear. He blew out fireballs, and dodged swiping claws, using his teeth to tear through the heartless.

Kadaj drew his sword elegantly, slashing in large sweeps to catch some more heartless - WHOSE fighting skills were tagic? Certainly not his.

Tensai looked at Roxel, and their hands clasped as they raced through the fire. When Roxel was by his side, the flames never scared him.


"Olette!" Seifer snapped as well. He grit his teeth before jumping after her, racing in her direction.


Terra glanced back his smile turning into a malicious smirk as he wsaw Aqua chasing him. He pointed quicksand, a golden light shooting out to a boulder that she had just jumped to.
Aqua yelped in shock as it turned to sand and she felt her ankle twisted painfully as she tipped over and rolled down the side of the crater. Terra paused to watch her body tumble, until it reached the lifestream edge. Her body hit the ridge and sailed some before twisted over the glowing liquid.
Then Tsuami rang out and Aqua embedded it right at the stream side, dangling over the ridge like one would hang over a vat of lava - body curling inward as if trying to escape heat. He pointed towards her, ready to take her out once and for all.
Seifer raced after Olette - and when he caught sight of the going-ons below he didn't hesitate to line his gun up to Terra's head, His finger shook against the trigger, hesitance creeping into his form. "Fuck." He whispered harshly, before aiming lower and taking the shot.

Terra gave a cry as the bullet ripped into his leg. He stumbled leg crumbling under his and he hissed. He looked towards the ridge and growled upon the sight of the couple. He tore his nails in mercilessly, ripping out the bullet and throwing it aside before placing his hand against the wound, darkness spilling from the tips of his figners in an attempt to heal it. In the corner of his eye he saw the blue female slowly climbing up onto the ridge once more.

He rasied his hand, energy full of darkness collecting at his palms, his eyes crazed. The opiower of the darkness was nearly suffocating as it pressed down over the land. "You all want to see power? Oh you all I will devour! This body is mine now, this I vow. I've won, you're done!"


"I've won, you're done!"
Triangluar ears perked, amber eyes opening to the sight around him - the walls oozing so much darkness. Everything from tail tip to snout was in pain - even breathing in this dark mist burning all the way to his stomach. But those words...
He snarled suddenly, feelign rage grow within.
He rasied his head struggling on the table with renewed vifor. The dark chains rattled loudly, the table groaning as he struggled like the wild animal he was.
His head yanked back and his jaws snapped open - and the chain around his muzzle broke like a necklace chain. "AWHOOOOOOOO!!!" He howled in rage. He turned his head, teeth snapped down. The other chains broke.
Despite his pain he forced himself to his feet, landing into the rising pool at the bottom of his world. He waded through the muck until he got to the pathetic sight of the other Terra. The brunette was curled up, body shuddering and jerking as he gagged on the darkness.
He scoffed, reached out and bite into the other's chains, before pushing him onto his back with a paw, the other issuing a gasp of pain.. "Get up!" He ordered. Terra's dull blue eyes shifted to stare at him. "If we are doomed to die, I will not do so without a fight and if you have even an ounce of Atterian pride in you, you will not either! I would sooner be the cause of my own destruction, then have life be taken from me in such a disgraceful manner.
Terra continued to stare at him dully, his showing he wasn;t comprehending a word. The wolf snorted with disgust, before he tredged through the muck and grime of darkness and past the now open doors, and his back arched with prepartion. He pounced and through the hole he went.
The golden light joined that of the pink and red - and unfortunetly for both of them HE was experienced at fucking with Terra's brain.
The golden stream invaded that of the pinks trail, effortlessly uprooting her and harshly too, before he dug deeper and deeper into that of Terra's brain, soaking into the red lines, twisting around Rant like a snake and squeezing hard.[/i]

Terra was getting back to his feet the energy pulling around his and he slowly tugged his hand back, ready to set loose the blast of darkness - but adruptly he froze, eyes widened in shock. He rasied one hand to his head, curling it up into brown locks. [/color] "W-what are you...?"
Your worst nightmare.
The wolf brushed hard against the sensors for the nerves. Terra's whole body convulsed and he gave a cry. "Get out GET OUT!!!"
This is my den. Your scent will contaminate it no further.

Terra felt the fight goig on insde of his head, but slowly he blinked, coming back to himself. He sat up slowly, panting hard.
...Self-destruction huh? He stood and shaky legs, broken chains falling into the darkness with little plips and plops.
He panted hard and held out his hand. Quicksand appeared. "You want my world?" He hissed bitterly agonized and furious. "I don't think you two can handle it." He twisted around looking at the rotting things. "This... is the end." He raised Quicksand, eyes gleaming harshly. "RAGH!" He cried, slamming it into the table his wolf had been captive on. It split it two.
Not unlike the way Roxas had destroyed the computers of the fake Twilight Town years ago, Terra went about his own world, destroying things left untouched or still slowly burning. Breakers snapped and glass stepped upon, turned to frickles of light. Books were torn. Walls were sliced into. The grounds was cracked. He used spitfire and bars of cages melted down. The bed split in hall. The lights above were shattered completely. His world was becoming even more unrecognizable - to the point that nothing, not even all the light of the sun, could ever repair it.

Quicksand suddenly snapped out of Terra - no Rant's hand. It was gouing to its true owner once more. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!" He screamed, his voice a mixture of Terra's agony, the wolf's rage and his own torment. He fell to his knees, darkness dribbling past his lips as he coughed violently, his body seizing up. Under the onslaught of the two Rant... had never stood a chance.

Aqua stared with wide eyes, watching her best friend suddenly freak out nearby. what... what was happening to him?

Olette rushed towards the edge of the crater, hearing her husband behind her.
She stopped, looking down. Her eyes lit with the lifestream below but she couldn't take her eyes off the fight. Looking to her side, she saw the gunblade point down at Terra. A whimper came as she looked away, flinching as she heard the gunshot.

Slowly she looked down, seeing Terra not phased at all.... but suddenly... it started to look like he was going insane.
The bouts of insanity, Olette carefully jumped down into the crater to where Aqua was. She reached down, wrapping her arms around the other woman's and slowly pulled her up.

As Terra was freaking out, a powerful gust of wind started to blow down the crater. It didn't get close to the women but only in Terra's general direction, making him baffled and lose his footing.


Blue eyes looked up pass the flames at the hole in the sky that was still leaking the Darkness... but it was getting irregular. Ears perked as he heard noises up above... but they were not promising.
He looked around, seeing the remaining flowers starting to die.
Terra was doing his own self in...

In the room, Ven stopped shaking violently and just laid there silently. Black froth started to gather, spilling out slowly. The dark fumes coming from his body slowly stopped and his skin started to return to the normal color.

Axel blinked, looking down at Ven. Was.... was he going to be ok?
"V-venny?"
He stuttered but there was no response. He grew a haunting feeling that... Ven... was already gone.


High above the battle raged.

Everyone growled and grit their teeth as they were blown back from a powerful blast that Rave had sent out.

Namine frowned, quickly reaching down to her item belt. She pulled out one that was red and looked over at Bonnie who was about to charge again. "Stop!" She called, catching the woman's attention. She rushed over and handed her the bottle. "Do you think you could make this explode in her missing eye?"
The dark skinned woman blinked, taking the bottle. "I'll try!" She suddenly said as her sword was turned into a gun.

The bottle was placed in an open slot before closing it. She watched Kadaj and Rave slashing sword, making her hand unsteady. There was no way she could get a clear shot.

But for once... luck turned to their side.
Kadaj was thrown back but before the pink haired girl could continued, she suddenly stopped and looked down at the crater, her face changing to horror.
"RAAAAAAAAANT!?

A gunshot rang out and a small bottle went flying through the air. It went through the open hole in Rave's face, her not even knowing it. The pressure from the Darkness crushed the bottle as it passed through, the red liquid bursting out.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!"
The girl held her missing eye, the remedy burning her Darkness.

She stumbled before a blue ball slammed into her, forcing her down. Before she could scramble up, green crystals formed around her before turning into swords. They too slammed down into her arms and legs and dress, pinning her onto the flying creature.

Roxel's eyes widened as he looked, seeing everyone working together. He frowned before holding out his hand, a ball of glowing energy appearing. He shot it up into the dark cloud and suddenly they disbursed, a bright light coming down on them.
The light stroked the girl, making her cry out more.

Mako eyes turned to the only one left.
"TENSAI! RELEASE HER HEART!"
