The Chasers: Darkness' Fold

Rant laugehd at the sight.
It is now time to eat well
to the keyblades my sister, isn't that swell?

The two flew down towards the broken ship, over 6,000 keyblades ready for the taking.


Terra nearly jumped as the red-blonde haired boy burst into tears. He looked down in panic, seeign Tensai soon doing the same. Uuuuh....

Roxas jumped to attention when he heard the crying of his son, quickling sidestepping over xio and the pups and gave a quick yet tight hug the Axel before rushing into the next room, puned OVER the stairs leading to the third floor and landing beside Terra. He gave the other a look, before leaning down and scooping up both boys. "H-Hey calm down. sssh Shh it's alright."

Terra shrugged a little helplessly, but he felt a shot of panic from his lover - and quite a bit of pain. Where was he? "Hey I can see Ven!" Seifer suddenly called. The land keyblader paused.

WHAT THE FUCK WAS HE DOING OUTSIDE?!

Terra turned and walked a few steps before jumping and grabbing onto the edges of the thershold. He pulled himself over and into the lounge and rushed over to where Seifer was. He looked outside. Sure enough their the blonde was, sitting against a tree - how the hell did Ven get hurt? He was the keyblader of WIND and he could FLY!!!

The blonde seemed to catch sight of them watching from the window making random gestures and pointing towards the bottom of the ship - but Terra understood instantly. "fuck they;re going for the keyblades!"

He looked down, seeing he was standing on the door now. Well fuck. There was... only one way out now. "Seifer... back up." The blonde didn;t ask, just did as he was told.

CRASH!

"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING?!" Seifer cried as the keyblade flew through the large window at the front of the ship. Damn it wasn't Sigurd hurt enough?!

"It's the only way out!" Terra snapped before reaising the keyblade and smashing up the glass more, widening the hole. Inside the ship they were sitting ducks - and if the kids decided to blow it up while they were inside... that would be that.

"Roxas!!!" He called, getting an answer back. "Can you glide everyone out of here?!" There was a pause, then a definite yes. "Good! Do it quickly! And watch the glass!" He hooked his keyblade in the side of the window frame and suddenly jumped and tugged himself out of the ship with it's momentum. He came tumbling out yet landed on his feet outside, grunting at the jolting impact.

He glanced over at Ven - worried about him, but they had something a little more worrisome to take care of. He turned his head, seeing the pink and red flashes disappeared along the side of the ship - or well the bottom now. He cursed and rushed off, glass crunching under his feet. He slid on the ground some before he saw them - Rant and Rave were both eraising their hands to blast a new hole in the ship. He oaused as his eyes changed color then pointed his hand down. "Get the fuck away from there!"

The land udner the twins feet shot up and violently crashed into them knocking them into the air. Terra had his hand rising, land following the twins and he clenched his fingers into a fist. The land suddenly wrapped around Rant and Rave's bodies. Terra yanked his hand down towards the ground and the twins were jerked from the sky and fiercely throw into the ground - the impact jarring.

The wolf rushed forward, pausing in front of the compartment the keyblades were in and stood in front of it protectively.


Meanwhile inside the ship Roxas stood up, holding onto his son and nephew tightly. "Come on you too it'll be alright." He bent his legs and jumped into the air, flying into the next room. He glided right over Seifer and out the window. He flew towards the forest line where Ven was still lying and he set Tensai and Roxel down near him.

He glanced at the blonde, seeing he was at least in one piece. He turned and flew back for the ship Oathkeeper appearing. "Heal!" He called the green magic swirling around his twin. Moments later he disappeared in the ship once more, the light of oathkeeper the only thing guided him in the disturbingly dark ship.

Roxas landed next to Seifer and threw his blade, blasting out the rest of the window. The blonde beside him cursed but Roxas just gripped his arms tugged him up and flew out the window, Seifer dangling from his hands. He let the blonde jump down besides the others before he did a quick 180 in midair and flew back in - only catching a glimpse of falling twins.

Soon the blonde had carried Axel out - having to press their bodies together due to how tall Axel was. Then he carried out four pups cradling in his arms with Invidia on his shoulders. And then finally the large fire lion who had to curl his paws in so he wouldn't hit the edges of the window frame and glassy edges.

That handled everyone on the first and second floors.

Lucina trembled against her mother -unharmed but still scared. Especally for her brother. But the minute she heard his call back she sighed in relief.


Aqua cried out as she felt pain rush over her lower region and her hold slipped from the shower noozle and she laid against the wall, groaning a bit. Fuck that hurt a lot - but she knew with horror that it was Fuujin's pain not her own.

She glanced up and let tsuami shimmer into her hands, brillant blue light momentarily light the area. The door was opened and pressed against the cabinets - and without a pause she jumped, jabbing her keyblade into the thershold. She grunted grabbing onto the edge and slowly pulling herself over.

Further up she could her Olette and Lucina and Gunnar but she turned, jumped over the hold in the 'floor' and counted the doors, until she reached her and Fuu's room. She supposed it was a gosend they were on the right side of the ship and not the left. she opened the door and it flew open. "Fuu?!" She cried, pointed her keyblade into the room and let it disappear in another flash of light. She caught sight of the silver hair and the dressor atop her and gasped. "Oh... babe..." She let Tsuami appear again so she could look for a safe place to land and then jumped down.

Tsuami disapepared and she laid her hands on the ground, crawling forward and followed by feel alone. She ran her hands down the others arms before planting her hands against the dressor as well. "We'll get it off of you don't worry." she said, before grunted and pulling at it.


Lucina looked up as light filled the room and looked up seeing Roxas jumping from the stairs landing gracefully next to them.

Ven slowly looked up, hearing the crash... but it seemed so far away. He saw a blur as it ran away and slid onto the tree more. He pulled his hands up, seeing his skin burned away from the blast. Wha---

He blinked when he saw some more blurs coming his way... and then something wrapped around him. More loud noises but... what...
A flash of green made his eyes close but noises started to become clear. He opened his eyes, seeing Silgurd crashed on the ground in front of him.
"Holy shit!" He cried but blinked as he looked down, seeing Roxel and Tensai wrapped around him, crying. Where the hell did they come from?

He shook his head and pried himself away from them gently. "It's ok." Aero Maxim appeared in his hands once again as he saw his brother glide out of a window.

When Xio touched the ground, he grabbed some of his pups and rushed to the woods where Ven was. The blonde looked down and frowned. "Protect them."
The fire lion nodded proudly at Ven, looking over to his mate and nodded to her.

The wind keyblader dashed out towards where the Rant and Rave had gone... only to skid to a stop when he saw Terra already at the part of the ship where the keyblades were kept. Shit... this was no good!
He rushed over to his mate and stood at his side. "You ok?" He really didn't have to ask. He could FEEL if he wasn't... though he didn't notice that his own eyes were a shade of yellow.

Axel growled as he was placed down but was about to kiss his husband... when he suddenly disappeared back into the ship! He pouted but heard some noise. He looked at the woods, seeing the kids with their pets and rushed towards Terra and Ven.


Olette looked up and smiled, slowly getting up with her daughter. She pointed down to the last stairs and swallowed. "Gunnar is trapped down there!"


Fuu winced as she continued to pull herself free. A shot of light made the room glow... but it only made her see blood. Shit... It grew dark again and the silverette continued to struggle until she felt familiar fingers on her skin. Her pain seemed to lift as she knew Aqua was safe.

Together they managed to get her legs out though. Aqua jarred the dresser and Fuu placed one of her chakrams in the gap, letting her pull out from under it. She sighed as she grew feeling in them... but something was definitely broken. A toe. What one... she could care less now. She reached out blindly in the darkness, finding Aqua easily. "Aqua..." She pulled the bluette close and found her lips with her own, kissing her passionately.


Namine slowly stood, seeing liquid running down the floor. Potion. She sighed as she wiped some up with her finger and sucked on it, making it instantly heal her few scrapes. She blinked though as she head some noise and looked out, seeing Roxas heading downstairs. She was about to yell out... but bit her tongue. Maybe... it was safer in the ship...


Aerith slowly climbed from the closet, hoping to land gracefully. Damnit... she should of taken Yuffie up on that tutorial of jumping off of high things. She wasn't as young as she use to be.
She tumbled out and landed on the button to open the door. She blinked and... fell out of that too.

"EEEEE!" She hit the ground and winced.
"AH! Aerith! Are you ok!?" Olette called as she rushed over to the woman and helped her up.


Rave yelped as she was suddenly pushed up into the air with her brother... then smashed down by the earth. The ground exploded where they were smashed into, leaving a hole. Yellow eyes from the keybladers looked at the hole, gripping their keyblades.

A black sleeve reached up and another set of yellow eyes looked over the edge at them before falling back down.
Ven flinched and growled, his hold on Aero Maxim tensing... but his eyes suddenly widened as a loud noise of gun fire blew from the hole, large balls of Darkness shooting up in the air and falling down on them.

"Fuckers." He slashed out with Terra, making the balls disburse.

Invidia shook her head a bit at the orders before walking clsoer to the two children with her mate and the pups stayed close to them as well.

Seifer, the minute he touched down hurried after Ven and Axel as well, Hyperion appearing in his hands. He shook his head son, unable to really figure out what was happening.

Tensai sniffled, just cuddling closer to roxel, watching his dad take off.


Terra glanced at the blonde when he joined him, chuckling at the question. "You have to ask?" He joked, before his head turned, hearing both the twins getting up. He like the blonde beside him tensed up as he ehard the coking of the gun.
"Fuck!" He snapped, both of them slashing through the balls until they disappated into nothing. The minute they were finished though, a slinky black whip wrapped around both of them and with a hard yank send them both flying into the ground.

Seifer cursed, seeing the two go flying and stopped moving. He aimed his gunblade at Rave, pushing the trigger the shot ringing out loudly in the still air.


Roxas nodded to Olette's words, going to the last staircase. "Don't worry Olette I'll get him." Of course. figures held be in the place the twins were trying to break into. He pointed the keyblade down, the light filtered in the darkness of the last floor brightening the pitch black anywhere. Yet he looked again, seeing something glowing - a pair of eyes. He jumped down suddenly, landing nearby and walked over carefully. "Curaga." He said, letting the healing magic waft over the brunette. He leaned over, lifting the boy up. Wow he was getting heavy! "Come on lets get out of here."

Above he heard Aerith's cry and he jumped up to the next level, his feet landing against the railing of the stairs and he used that to jump the rest of the way. "Got him!" He said triumphantly, landing next to Olette and setting the boy on his own two feet, letting the women fuss cver him. "Sorry to say but we need to hurry. The twins are trying to break into the vault."

In moments he had Lucina in his arms and Gunnar's arms wrapped around his next. He warned the two to hold on before he vault up to the next level, nearly falling under the twin's combined weight. He jumped again and flew from the ship and out into the sunlight. He dropped the brother and sister off with Tensai and Roxel before turning and flying back - seeing the battle outside was raging. He flew back in, letting Olette hang off of his back like her son had. She wasn't to ehavy at least since she was still pretty short - but then again he wasn't a very strong person.

He only turned and flew back in, landing into the third level once more - finding the open bathroom door and jumping over it - and hurried over to Aerith, picking her up carefully. It was a good thing she hadn't moved or else she would of fallen through the bathroom. "Upsy daisy!" He grinned at the elder woman, being much more careful with her then the others and flew her all the way to the forest, letting her touch the ground easily.

He flew back once again and panted a bit as he landed on the ground. His ribs were aching from all the exertion and pressure placed on them and his arms were starting to hurt. "Hello?! Can anyone hear me?!"

Meanwhile Aqua hummed appreciatively as the lips latched on her own, kissing back passionately. She wrapped her arms around her carefully, trying not to put pressure on anything that hurt. They pulled away moments later and she could hear the commotion above. Roxas. "We're in here!!"

Moments later a light brightened up the room - Oathkeeper's light. She waved. "Hurry Fuu's hurt!" The blonde nodded, gliding down and landing next to them, seeing the dressor with the chakram holding it up - and with horror realzied realized what happened. He looked the silverette woman over before once again uttering, "Cure!"

He walked over, "Sorry if this hurts." He murmured, carefully picking her up bidal style. He used the dressor as leverage, jumping onto it before vaulting from it and up to the next level. It wasn't long before he made it back to the second and left her in Aerith's care.

Aqua sighed, grabbing the chakram and yanking it out of the drssor's underside, letting the heavy wood hit the ground. She stood and jumped atop it and like Roxas before it, jumped from it, Tsuami locking into the thershold and she pulled herself over.

She walked across the the area, letting her blade shimmer in and out of her hand - finding the bathroom again easily and jumping over it. She stopped under the staircase and jumping, locking her keyblade and her wife's chakram into the railing trying to puill herself up - and realized quite quickly she couldn't. "Ah fuck," she grumbled, swinging her legs.

The white light of the keyblade came back and Roxas chuckled, heling her up and out of the railing and onto the second floor. "Can you get out on your own?" the blonde asked. "I still need to find Namine."

"Yeah." Aqua said with a nod, turning and walking towards were the light was. She did the same exact thing Terra did, except she used the chamran to help her over the threshold and through the window, landing on the ground easily.

Roxas landed on the next floor, looking around. "Namine?!" He called.

Roxel looked down at Tensai and blinked, seeing he looked scared. He frowned and puffed out his chest. "Don't worry Ten! I'll protect you!" He said proudly and giggled as Xio licked his and Ten's face.
The moomba's eyes looked over, seeing Roxas coming in and out of the ship. He was going to wear himself out...


Ven yelped as he fell back, hitting his head on the grass. "FUCK!" EXCUSE ME! ENOUGH FUCKING BRAIN DAMAGE THANK YOU! He was suddenly dragged towards the pit with his mate... but not too far before he slammed Aero Maxim into the ground. He violently snapped the whip from his grip. Seemed like quick and violent jerks from sex was finally paying off.

The bullet rang through Rave's head... but didn't go out the other side. She blinked and stopped, only to look over at the shooter... and spit the bullet back out at him as if it was a gun.
The bullet ran again though as it hit a chakram.
Axel grinned as the weapon came back to him and stood proud next to Seifer.

So all of you forgot to park

Ven's eyes widened. Fades....?
A sudden burst of Darkness came from the gap, leaching out as if it was some horrible growth.
Neoshadows started to appear from the Darkness, circling around them in mass numbers.

Won't you ever forget the ocean?
The one that made all the commotion?

Ven growled, knowing exactly what she was talking about.
"AAAAAAAAAAH!" He dashed out, slashing all the Neoshadows that jumped at him.


Fuu groaned as she was pull from the ship and sat down outside. Aerith headed towards the woods with Gunnar, Lucina and the other children.
The silverette looked down, slowly pulling off her boot. She winced at the pain and looked down at her sock, seeing that it was covered in blood. Slowly she pulled it off... and found out where the blood had come from.
She lost her pinky toe. Luckily... that was all.


Namine covered her mouth and closed her eyes. No WAY was she leaving! It was safe in here...

[Reno]

Tensai looked at Roxel and then suddenly giggled, recognizing the pose as one Uncle Axel took a lot. He giggled more as he was licked by the moomba, smiling brightly.


Seifer blinked as the gun wound seemed to not effect her at all. What the fu- His eyes widened suddenly as his own bullet was shot back at him. If it hadn't been for Axel stepping in the way he would probably be rather dead.
Okay no firing at the heratless he got it!

Terra grunted as he hit the ground next to Ven, momentarily dazed. He sat up slowly, shaking his head. He looked across seeing Seifer and Axel standing next to each other - fuck where was everyone else?!

The land keyblader got to his feet - yet all the Chasers came to attention when Rave started to speak. Terra's brows furrowed. The... ocean? For the oddest reason he thought of Riku.

But their wasn't really much time to ponder about the ehartless' words before the neoshadows started climbing out of the ground. "Shit!!" He slashed at the beasts, hearing the other three chasers doing the same. He licked his tongue across his teeth, feeling the points of growing fangs. Fuck their was too much darkness around this place.

Let me take control.

NOT NOW!

Everyone will die this way! You are too weak!

Rant watched quietly as everyone became frantic and aimed his hand towards and ship, blasting at it again. The force field however was stronger then first anticipated. Even as the metal melted away the barrier made the blast disperse, shaking it's way across the bottom of the ship, scarring it worse.

"Damn it leave my ship alone fucker!!" Seifer cried suddenly.

The red-haired boy seemed to scoff, aiming his hand at Axel and Seifer and fired another blast, this time hitting at their feet and uprooting them both.


Aqua panted a little, looking over at where her wife was before rushing over to her side. She could hear the battle behind her but disregarded it for now. She sat down nerxt to her slowly, grimancing at the sight of the blood and missing toe and reached out, caressing the silverette's face. "Does it hurt really badly?" she asked worriedly.


Roxas stood on the second level panting hard, sweat rolling down the sides of his face from exertion. He was trying to remember where Namine had been. She hadn't been up wqith Axel - the red head would of brought her down and she wasn't on the second level he would of known.

God he prayed she hadn't been in her room... she was on the left side. a dressor falling on her would be a lot worse since she was so much smaller. "Fuck! Namine answer me!!!"

He rushed down the side of the rooms, using his keyblade to glance inside the bathroom - seeing no one. He went from room to room, calling for the girl.

Just as he reached the end of the hall where Terra and Ven;s room was - looking dismally up towards the ceiling the ship suddenly shook. "AAAH!" He cried stumbling and nearly fell into Aqua and Fuu's room.

Rave suddenly flew from the hole up into the sky. When she was high enough, she floated and her yellow eyes looked down at the place. The ship was slowly giving to. How could they fit so many keyblades in that little thing?
Hehehehehehehe.....

She pointed down with her sleeve and suddenly long, black vines shot down towards the ship. The vines quickly wrapped around it and gripped onto it tightly.
They slowly started to tighten, making the ship moan and grown as it was being squeezed.

A toothy grin appeared as the outside accessories started to snap and fall to the ground.

Ven continued to dash towards Rant, slashing at the Neoshadows... but the closer he got, the more Heartless there was... and before he knew it, it was drowning in Darkness. FUCK! Dark claws gripped onto him, drawing blood all over. He flung his keyblade, but more Heartless would only appear where the one he killed was standing.

Axel yelped as he jumped and rushed off, trying to avoid the blast. His narrow eyes saw Ven and he was getting sucked in and growled. "OUTTA MY WAY!" He called as he suddenly dashed into the 'ocean' as well. Ancient symbols started to appear... and then a blast of fire was push up towards the sky, destroying the heartless on impact... but only more bellowed from the hole.

Fuu looked up at Aqua and smiled but frowned as she heard the call and gasped as she saw the vines. She shook her head and looked up at Aqua. "I think they needed you a lot more than I do right now!"


Namine sighed softy as Roxas went down to the next level... but clashed her hand over his mouth again as the shit was rocked again, trying not to scream.... but when something seemed to wrap around the ship... and more windows broke in impact... then... she knew it wasn't a safe place to be in either.
"ROXAS!"

[Reno]

Seifer however was not as lucky as Axel. He cried out as the blast exploded at his feet and he was flung through the air. He cried out as he smacked in the ground, somersaulting over himself. He grunted in pain feeling his neck protesting. And in the distance he could see the fight continuing on. He struggled to his feet, stumbling a little and rushed back towards the fray. "DAMN YOU!"

"Ven!!!" Terra cried, seeing his lover rushing into the fray. He cursed violently his fingers clenching, feeling his claws digging into the hilt. "GOD DAMN IT!" He concentrated, and land shot up, crushing the heartless mercilessly. But more just kept showing up. There was NO way he'd let them take this world!

Aqua looked back as she heard the cry as well, her eyes widened at the globs of collecting darkness. she turned at Fuujin's words, nodding and leaning over to give her a firm kiss before jumping up and rushing off. Tsuami snapped into her hands. "Fuck." she hissed as she charged the heartless group head on. "Get lost!!" She could see what was happening for the ship and cursed. Roxas and Namine were still inside! And all the keyblades!!

Rant watched the struggle with glee - but suddenly his eyes zeroed in on Terra and fury grew in him, not forgetting how he had so rudely set him on fire. He jumped from his spot laughign mercilessly swinging the whip to wrap around Quicksand - the crack unheard over all the noise.

I will pay you back for my pain
Until the ground is littered in a blood-red stain!

The man gave a yelp as he was tugged upwards his feet swinging as they left the ground. He looked up only glimpsing the yellow eyes as his body was flung about only to get a vicious kick in the stomach. His hold on his blade was broken and he crashed into the ground, crushing a few heartless under him. He grunted looked up suddenly, struggling to his feet-

Rant grabbed onto the blade tugging it up. He saw the other's furious amber gaze and gave him a wicked grin, showing the rows of sharp teeth. He rasied the blade and locked his fangs around it.

Snap!

Quicksand shattered as if made of fine glass the broken pieces falling towards the ground. Yellow dusty light - like the sands of Atteris - fluttered outwards and flew through the sky - it's dying magic crying out into the air. Below Terra felt the weakness overcome him from the loss of ownership, falling back towards the ground. The neoshadows engulfed him.

Aqua's eyes widened at the scream of magic, feeling Tsuami yell as well. She glanced up in horror, seeing the faint traces of magic blowing out of existence like desert sand in an ocean. "Terra!" She cried no longer seeing the brunette over the sea of black.


Tensai looked up his eyes widening as he heard the cry. He looked towards the fight, scared once more. "DAAAAAADDY!!!!!"


Roxas fell to his knees as the ship started to creak and groan, glass shattering, and he looked around confused. He heard Namine's cry though and he struggled to his feet, rushing off towards the voice. He grunted, jumping up to the previous level and ran towards the voice - and suddenly realized where Namine had gone. The items room. Why the hell didn't he think of that before?!

He jumped into the room, seeing the blonde girl curled up, hands over her mouth and fear on her face, potion pooled all around. She was at least unharmed. "Come on." He said grabbing her around the waist and lifting her into his arms. He carried her from the room and jumped into the next room, only to jump once more, gliding over the thershold and into the the pilot's lounge. As he did however, the ceiling in front of them suddenly caved in, blocking off their only exit.

Roxas yelped falling backwards and landed against the wall. Everything was sparking now, lights above shattered and the controls on the other side bursting into flames. Even though they were cut off from the fire they weren't safe from the heat or the smoke escaping under the edges of the bent metal.

Roxas looked up in panic as the area above started to creak and groan, slowly closing in on them as well. Panic swelled in his heart and he set down Namine and turned around - seeing the thershold behind was also now caved in too. "Wrap your arms around my neck, hurry!"

Once she had he turned on his heels, but paused when he heard a scream - but not a human one. It was the scream of a keyblade. Terra's keyblade. The four he held - Bond of Flames, Kingdom Key, Oathkeeper and Oblivion - all gave a similar cry as if they has lost a friend. Was Terra...?

Shit he didn't have time for this!

Oblivion joined Oathkeeper and he charged forward, slashing against and against at the metal caved in in front of the controls. Unfortunetly it was all bunched up with metal from the top level - he'd never get them out in time.

He looked up, seeing the metal coming down and heard Namine scream. He raised his keyblades, both of them slamming into the ceiling and stopping - hearing more slamming only a few inches around him and Namine. There little area was quickly filling with smoke. He grunted under the weight, his arms and legs shaking under it - another force pushing down. "HELP!!!" He cried knowing no one could hear him. He coughed as he breathed in the smoke. He grit his teeth, hearing the girl on his back sobbing. He had to keep trying.

"HELP!"


Terra laid there, feeling claws digging into his skin, scorching down his back, digging into his thighs, ripping apart his arms. Blood rivuleted around his body, pooling under him. His brown had covered his blank eyes - yet he was still aware of the pain.

Will you really let this happen? Let them take our Den?

Behind him the ship continued to cave in. 'Help!' It was the faintest of cries yet his sharpening hearing picked it up easily, along with the screams and cries of a young girl. Roxas and Namine.

Our pack?

He could hear Axel and Aqua yelling his name, could hear Seifer crying out in pain.

Our pup?

His son was screaming out for him.

Our mate?

He could see Ven fighting his way over towards him, slashing fiercely and fighting with valor - but there were too many. the blonde was overwelmed and disappeared from sight.

GET UP TERRA!

Something inside of him snapped.


Rant laughed flying towards the bluette and blonde at the edges of the battlefield his mission to torture them slowly before killing them - when suddenly he was frozen by an insane power flittered across the land. And suddenly a horrible yell echoed across the land:

"ENOUGH!"

Rant spun around just in time for a blast of darkness to rise in the area he had left the brunette Atterian to die in. A howl suddenly reverbrated throughout the area. The Neoshadows close to the area suddenly all burst into nothing - their trapped hearts flew through the air - but the darkness of their beings did not flutter into nothingness. Instead they started to surrond a dark beast with black and brown fur, the being sucking it all in greedily. It was a disgusting looking thing with spikes on its back and bull horns atop it's head - yet it was definitely a wolf in nature.

The wolf's tail smacked hard into the ship behind him, cutting into the vine and breaking it. The amber eyes met his for only a few seconds before the large beast took off into the fray, getting lost in all the darkness - yet his trail was not as hearts rose into the air almost randomly.

The wolf rushed straight to Ven, circling around him, snapping his jaws into every heartless he came to and sucking it dry until they now longer surronded his mate. He glanced at the Blonde, growling some before taking off into the army once more - but it wasn't long before he reappeared. He took a flying leap over some neoshadows, revealing it's great and terrible appearance to everyone. His jaws opened and clamped down hard around two 11-year old girls' sleeves, and clenched his jaw hard, and curled his body as they began to fall from his body weight and gravity alone. He spun and slammed her body into the ground.

More Neoshadows appeared as hearts filled the sky, heading for their long journey back to Kingdom Hearts. Weapons were slashed, and thrown, majick pushing through the black things.

Aerith quickly left the children's side as she ran to Fuu, helping her up and towards the forest.


Inside, Namine looked up, seeing Roxas hurry into the room. She shook as she got up, feeling him wrap his arm around her waist and they quickly left the room, heading to the exit where Roxas had brought everyone else out of... but it was quickly destroyed.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHN!!" The girl screamed as the sound of the metal bending and sparks flying filled the ship. She could hear sound of a fire roar on the other side of the 'wall' and shook.

She she was let down, she shivered, tears running down her face. They were going to die!
She blinked as Roxas called an order and she reached up, wrapping her arms around his neck. She was pulled up and buried her face in his shoulder, her tears soaking his shirt.

As they moved around, she could hear the bending of the metal... and the smell of the smoke. She looked up, hearing a horrible sound and cried more as the walls were coming down on them. She coughed and held onto Roxas's neck tighter.
They... they were going to die!
"This is all my fault." She sobbed as she shook.


Outside, the battle ragged on. Everyone continued to fight... until all eyes were on Rant who's red hair was hard to miss. A gasp shot out as Terra fell.
"SHIT! TERRA!" Axel cried but stopped himself before jumping in to help his... leader.
Something tugged at his heart.
"HELP!"

His narrow eyes looked at the ship, seeing it get crushed. Roxas was in there!
He growled and left Seifer's side, rushing towards Silgurd. He used the vines to jump up, snapping some as he climbed up with his chakram. When he reached the top.... they all suddenly seemed to snap and the hair on his body stood on end as he heard a horrible roar.

He didn't look back though, now seeing the smoke coming from the broken windows. He heard crying and muffed noise coming from below and leaned down. Jabbing his chakrams into the side, he pulled hard to create a rip in the metal.
He pulled the metal back, opening it like a sardine can. Green eyes peered in, looking down at his husband and Namine.

He reached down with both arms. "HURRY!"


Ven's blue eyes widened as he felt an odd phantom sensation in him. He winced though as More Neoshadows toppled over him and slashed out more. He growled as Rant jumped up and kept a close eye on him. He turned seeing the Heartless going after.... Terra.
"TERRA!" He gripped his handle harder as he quickly moved back to his lover as fast as he could... but the shadows didn't think that was a good idea.

More and more built around him and he was dragged down. "Aaah!" He winced more as he felt the claws rip into him. Damnit... he didn't even have a heart! Why were they going after him!?
That was when his blue eyes widened again. A cry could be heard and he saw Maxim shine. What... what was going on?

He shook though as he heard the loud roar.
"No..." The blonde whispered. Terra.... what was he doing...? Letting the wolf out...? What... about Tensai? He had never seen Terra in this form...
"TENSAI! CLOSE YOUR EYES!" He cried out, not sure if anyone could hear him.
His eyes widened again though as the large beast pushed through the heartless... and right to him.

The Neoshadows around him were destroyed... and sucked into the beast. Ven climbed to his feet quickly but panted, looking at the wolf, seeing it growl and rush off. The more heartless Terra sucked in, the weaker Ventus felt. The wolf was sucking in his being too... looking for his strength.
Slowly he looked at his hand, seeing a very small fade.

"AAAAH!!" A loud crash sent him stumbling, Aero Maxim falling to the ground as a blast of Darkness hit.


Rave giggled as she saw the fumes coming up from the ship.
More and more fire
To death you will tire
She opened up a smile... but suddenly she cried as the vines were all snapped. She growled, about to shoot something at the Atterian... when he was suddenly over her. Her yellow eyes widened as the wolf crunched down on her sleeves... and threw her down into the ground.

The impact made a wave of Darkness surround her and she winced. That actually hurt! With some Darkness that he had sucked from her, she looked out, seeing a keyblade... on the ground in front of her. She quickly reached out, her sleeve wrapping around it and as her brother had done, she crushed it.

"NOOOOooaaaaa!" Ven cried as he felt weaker, falling on his knees. Majick wisped around him like wind as Aero Maxim's power was sucked in by the girl.

Roxas coughed, shaking his head. "No, it's not." He snapped at her. "Stop it we're going to get out of here!" Bond of flames suddenly sparkled, covering them both in a red aura that chased away the smoke, making it easier to breathe and the heat died away.

The blonde sighed tiredly, shaking under the weight and continued to just hold it there, shutting his eyes tightly. could anyone... even hear him?

He heard a scratching noise and something that sounded like a howl over the flames and suddenly the pressure was gone. His arms shook and he slowly lowered them uncertainly, glancing around at the walls that were no longer caving in on them - yet now he was in such a limited space that even if he wanted to cut himself off he neither knew where to or had the room too.

Suddenly though something was punctured in the metal. Roxas jumped back a little- nearly running both him and his young charge into the meshed metal between them - and he watched the point dig through the metal creating a horrible screech. Then suddenly as easy as opening a can of soup the metal was lifted and Roxas was revealed to an angelic sight. "Axel!!"

He heeded the others words though. "Hold on." He told the young girl, before clasped his hands on Axel's upper arms as he did the same to him. Roxas placed his foot against the wall and Axel pulled up so that in moment they were on top of Silgurd.

The blonde suddenly through his arms around the red-head and pressed their lips together in a rough yet passionate kiss - but a second yell drew him apart and he glanced towards the battlefield. His eyes widened in horror as he caught sight of the beast - and seconds later he heard the resounding scream of Aero Maxim wafting through the air. "Oh no..." This... was very bad.


Tensai however didn't hear his father - yet he did see the beast. The... wolf. And he remembered with suddenly clarity lines from a book:
He was a creature not known or understood by others - he was almost villianious in nature. He was big and fierce yet had a heart that rivaled any hero's. Yet, unlike The Hero who gained friends during the journay, this creature had none. Strangely enough he did not mind this aloneness. Therefore his name will be called The Lone Wolf.
Tensai walked forward slowly, stepping towards the edges of the forest, placing a hand uncertainly on the tree. "....Daddy?" He whispered.
Even if he had heard Ven's words, he would have never obeyed.


Seifer paused mid-swing as the loud roar over came the field. He looked around completely baffled. "What the fuck?!" The next thing he knew a large creature with spike on its back was saiing through the air and attacking Rave.
"Idiot!" A woman snapped next to him, gripping his arm and tugging him backwards just before a heartless took off his head. A blue keyblade went slicing through it just as the second keyblade was broken. "Fuck..."
"What's going on!" He cried, but Aqua only snapped for him to shut up and without much else word started to drag him farther away from the field.


Blue eyes stared around the area, the figure shadowed by the table and the place still smelled disgustingly sterile. He seemed to be dazed and out of it - but a screech of a dying keyblade and a cry of a male made his head rasie. He could see wisps of darkness beginning to fill the lab... and one unlike the others. One blue and beautiful - bringing in fresh air and rainy clouds and clear blue skies...

Ven.

"No... stop taking his!" He snapped standing and rushing towards the crack were Ven's energy was seeping in. He stepped on it, clogging the leak.
What are you doing!? We NEED his light.
"You aren't taking his!!" Terra snapped. "I won't... I won't lose him!"
If we don't-
"JUST KILL THEM!"

Terra snarled, and landed on the ground, before pouncing forward, landing on the girl's body. He snarled- opening his large fangs and snapped, about to take her whole head off.

At least he would have - before the whip was suddenly snapped, encircling the beast's neck. Terra yelped as he was suddenly yanked off with enough force to bruise and his body thrown back into the bit of neoshadows.

Not yet Halloween yet already you say boo,
Let's see what a terrible beast like you can really do!
You're comrades fear the unknown,
Yet here you two stand alone.
Rant hissed, watching the wolf and the blonde once again disappearing in the sea of neoshadows.

The wolf laid down on his haunches as the claws raked at his fur - yet no damage was seen to be made. The heartless disappeared the minute they made contact.
You are going to drag us to insanity. Reopen our connection with our mate!
Never.
You know better than I that the drinking of pure heartless darkness is forbidden among our kind! They are only the bringers of Odin himself! The wolf snarled, and growled further as his other did nothing more than turn away. Stubborn. Admirable yet stupid. There was a reason the heartless and the Atterians had been serperate forces of darkness back in the past and never one. Simply because Atterians - like all other living creatures - need both light and darkness for balance.

And Terra had just cut off their only means of light in this battle.

The wolf sat up and threw his head back, howling once more. His tail thumped soundly in the ground and it seemed to create a shockwave that threw the twins back and drew the heartless to their doom - the dark wisps circled the beast in such a huge mass it seemed like fog that cut off the visibility - even the gap seemed to close itself up - sealing back into the center of the heart's world were the light and darkness balanced.

Rant grunted as he smacked into a tree - surprised by the force and that it actually seemed to hurt. He snarled, looking up as the fog cleared. It revealed a wolf protectively hovering over his blonde mate, licking a particularily deep wound with an almost affectionate nature, the skin sealing instantly - yet the wolf himself seemed hunched over, as if in great pain.
Protect him you must,
Yet darkness you lust,
Does it hurt that bad,
Or are you just mad?

Yellow eyes looked up at Rant, his eyes gleaming in a crazed way and he growled. The fur on his body seemed to stand on end, and his lips pulled back to reveal 42 sharp canines ready to rip the heartless apart. Black drool was dripping from the fangs and hissing as it hit the ground - leaving a rancid smell of pure darkness behind. It was like watching a dog go mad.

The wolf tossed his head, sjapping his teeth with a loud Snap! as warning. "Shut up." Rant seemed taken aback by the simple fact that the other had spoken. yet the voice was something no one had ever heard before. the wolf had never had his own vocal chords before. he had always spoken through Terra's - yet they had a distinct difference. In the wolf's voice, one could never mistake that intent to kill lingering in his words.

The wolf brushed the tip of his tail against Ven's arm as if to reassure him, before suddenly he charged at the two.

Axel gritted his teeth as he pulled both Roxas and Namine up. He wasn't THAT strong. But he managed and panted as he saw them both safe.

His narrow eyes widened as he was kissed. A grin ran over his lips as he opened his mouth willingly. WHAT!? He would take a kiss no matter what situation. Go ask Terra.
He blinked though as a loud roar interrupted him and he looked up, seeing the battle rage on... though... Seifer and Aqua seemed to be backing away.

It had to been... Terra.
"FUCK! WHAT IS HE DOING!?" He remembered last time Terra changed... he almost killed Ven.

Namine cried out and fell to the ground, gripping onto Roxas's leg. Maybe this was all such a bad dream. They were so close to being safe in space!


In the forest, Gunnar frowned as he looked down at Fujin's toe. It was definitely missing. "How did you manage that?"
Fuu frowned but blinked as Olette suddenly popped out. "Here!" She pushed Gunnar out of the way gently, kneeling down and wrapping a wet cloth around her foot.
"Where--"
"There was a stream pretty close by." She pointed at the bottom of her shirt where it was obvious that she had ripped the cloth.

Aerith walked over, handing Olette a few leaves. "Try wrapping it." The younger brunette nodded and took the leaves, slowly wrapping it around... but they all stopped as they heard a horrible sound.
Their eyes widened as they looked out and Olette gasped. "TENSAI! GET BACK HERE!"

Roxel had swallowed as Tensai left his side and slowly gathered enough courage to follow him. He stuck his finger in his mouth as he looked over Ten's shoulder, seeing the horrible beast. "Mmmmm." He whimpered but blinked at Tensai's whisper. What!? There was no way that was.... Uncle Terra....
"Ten....?" He squeaked out.


Rave closed her eyes tightly as she saw the jaws come down on her... but the weight was suddenly lifted and she blinked, looking back. A large grin appeared on her face as she quickly got up. Her dear brother was always watching her back!

She easily jumped over the mess and landed next to her brother, giving him a nod in thanks before looking out at the army of Neoshadows.


The bright green grass swayed in the wind... though this wind wasn't natural. It was more as if someone had turned on a vacuum. Instead of sucking up items and whatnot, it was sucking... the colors. The bright blue sky started to dim as did the grass.
It was all being sucked into a crack in the sky.

A golden wolf looked up at it, its ears pressed against it's head.
The larger wolf had been sucked away... and the pup away, playing in the grass.
Its ears perked though as something stopped the sucking, the crack in the sky being plugged.

Ven groaned as he fell to the ground, his body shaking from weakness.
His eyes dimmed for a few moments until... something wet ran over him. He slowly looked through his blonde hair, seeing a monster hunched over him.
"T---terra...." He whispered as he saw a large gash beginning to seal.

WHOOOOOOOOOOA!
Both the pink and red haired Heartless went flying into nearby trees as a wave went through. Rave stumbled up onto her feet with her brother and blinked as she saw the scene, only making her grin an evil one. She tilted her head to her brother and giggled.

So I see this Darkness hog
is nothing but a pathetic dog.
He waste his time with human skin

She blinked though as she saw the sizzling from the Darkness and frowned. As her brother started to talk, she raised her one sleeve that usually is used to fire things. But before it could send out an attack, she stooped, his eyes widening at the voice.

Ven winced as he tried to get up, feeling some fur brush against him. He looked back, seeing the wolf leave his side. "TERRA!"

Rave got into stance and giggled, a long blade coming from her other sleeve. She slashed out... but her mouth gaped as she realized.... the Atterian wasn't going after her.

Roxas frowned as he looked out at the battle and just shook his head to Axel's question. He had no idea what Terra was thinking... the last time he had changed he nearly got Ven and himself killed!

There was one thing he knew for certain though - he was NOT going down there!

He looked down at Namine who seemed to be scared to death and leaned down, placing his hand on her head. "It's okay Nam... just shut your eyes..."


Seifer stared at the battle with wide eyes, stumbling next to Aqua. He knew that it was Terra - remembered hearing of the wolf within from too many people to count shortly after he joined the Chasers - but he had never though he'd actually get to see it...

Aqua beside him cursed softly, her eyes full of concern. For who though it was hard to tell.


Invidia whimpered, her tail tucking curled under her and she dropped to her stomach whimpering. Her children all rushed to her side, struggling to burrow under her as if it could make them safer.

Lucina shivered as she saw the beast between the trees - also knowing who it was - though no one had ever explicitly told her what was 'wrong' with Terra. She and Gunnar had hacked into the file systems before and read up all about the wolf side. And even to this day she hadn't yet forgotten the man who walked in, his features all gangly and freakish looking, holding Ven in his arms. She was still uneasy around Terra... and she was certain that would never go away.

Tensai glanced at Roxel then looked back out towards the field watching the heartless disperse and a large wolf tenderly caring for a blonde was revealed. Much like daddy Terra would do when wrapping up one of daddy Ven's new scrapes.
He pointed. "Daddy." He repeated, easily recalling a large field with butterflies and two large wolves watching nearby. He wasn't sure if any of those experiences ever happened - but it seemed like his heart retained the memories.


Terra raced across the damaged field becoming almost a blur. His eyes however, only saw the red one who had teased and taunted him since the beginning. He snarled, showing his teeth.

Rant growled, bravely cracking his whip towards the monster, but Terra jumped, snapping his teeth around it and sent a strong invisible force along it. It slammed into the boy and threw him backwards - straight through the tree behind him and into the boulder further beyond. The whip disolved like water under the hot summer sun.

He raced forward, seeing Rave trying to intervene and he jumped, corkscrewing in midair in a flexible way no wolf should anatomically have. His back paws and tail slammed into her chest and kicked out - and the girl went flying sideways only to crash hard into the ground, rising up dirt in her wake. His paws landed on the ground and he raced towards Rant once more.

Rant, panicked like he had never been before, struggled off the boulder, shaking his head. the next thing he knew a large beast was snapping its teeth in his face. The boy yelped, jumping backwards and shooting into the air, looking down at the beast.

Terra snarled, his claws digging into the rock before he raced after, jumping for the heartless. The boy raised his hand and suddenly a sheild of darkness rasied from the ground and towards the sky. The wolf yelped as he crashed into it, energy crackling like purple electricity across the shadowy barrier, and Terra was thrown off by invisible hands. The wolf twisted in the air, his paws slamming into the ground and he raced back - as if running away.

Hahaha poor you!

Rant however trailed off as the wolf turned around in a big arc, never breaking stride as he raced back. Powerful claws made pawprints in his wake. Teeth glimmered furiously as the wolf ran towards him - but the heartless stayed calm. there was no way the wolf could break this barrier.

Terra charged, his yellow eyes glimmering dangerously then suddenly not more then a few feet from the barrier he suddenly pounced forward. The jump was good he would be level with Rant. He curled his body into a tight ball and suddenly his body spun like a buzzsaw, the sharp spikes gleaming as they cut through the blackness.

He drew out of the ball seconds later and snapped his teeth around the upper thigh of the boy. Rant gave a scream of pain, the double sided sword appearing and he sliced down blindly. The metal dug into the wolf's side and down his back viciously - but the wolf's jaws only clenched harder. He drew his back paws and tail against the dark cloud Rant stood on, and used his superior body weight to make the boy go careened from the sky. He again drew his legs close and had them both spinning rapidly through the air - until they crashed into the ground rising a dust cloud that made them invisible.

Silence seemed to permeate the area. No one moved, no one spoke, no one even breathed. Slowly the dust cleared...

Red hair streaked with black was revealed, Rant's body most laid out on the ground. His yellow eyes went searching around the area and slowly he raised his hand, fingers spreading as he reached out towards Rave.
Sis....ter...
The fangs clamped tight around his neck suddenly snapped down. The boy jerked... and then his arm fell to the ground. His body exploded in nothingness, a large heart rising frown the ground.

The darkness swirled around the wolf, and Terra panted, his jaws wide open, revealing rows upon rows of teeth. Blackness was clinging to his muzzle and his tongue and his teeth. Rant's blood. He looked towards the pink-haired girl, his eyes dark and pained as the darkness spread like poison through his body. He snarled in warning - just daring her to try anything.

OOC: *~* THAT WAS AWESOME!

Namine whimpered as she felt Roxas's hand on her head. She tried to calm her body... but she just kept sobbing silently. So... these were the two who killed Sora and Riku? There was no way they were getting out alive! She clung onto Roxas's leg more and buried her face into his pants, trying to block out the sounds in the back ground.

Xio growled as he stood protectively in front of his family, his chest puffed out with brave looking eyes. He was never one to back down when he needed to protect Axel, Roxas, Roxel, Vi or any of his pups.

Roxel whimpered a bit but got closer to Ten, looking out at the battle field. It held a large, horrible beast that Roxel had never seen before. He blinked, swallowing a bit. That... WAS uncle Terra? Could Tensai change into something like that?
Unfortunately, he wasn't old enough to understand that Tensai came from neither Terra, nor Ven nor Riku nor Sora. Quite honestly... no one knew where Tensai had come from..
But they'd all have to learn about the birds and the bees sometime.

Fuu winced slightly, making Olette and Aerith look down with her in concern. "Fuu?"
The silverette just shook her head, the place where she was missing her toe was becoming numb... and a phantom concern was pulling at her heart.


Rave growled as she saw the beast rush pass him after her brother. She dashed back towards him, her sword wisping with Darkness as she ran.
Leave my dear brother alone
Or it is I who will make your existence unknown!
The Heartless jumped and was about to slam her blade into the Atterian... but she felt heavy and powerful paws on her chest and she went flying.

She hit the ground hard, sinking into the dirt and making it fly. She moaned and spat out some rocks and grit before trying to pull herself up... but a huge explosion could he head by the time she stood. She looked over, her pink hair blowing in the clearing dust.

Meanwhile, Ventus was crawling towards Silgurd where the keyblades were stored. He winced and cried out as he felt a horrible phantom pain go through him as if it was nothing. He shoot but continue to crawl, his nails bleeding from the rock that dug into them as he sand his fingers into the dirt.

Axel's eyes widened as he saw what had happened.
Holy.
Shit.
His mouth gapped and he swallowed.
Note to self: Never piss Terra off again. Seriously.

Rave's yellow eyes widened as she heard the last of her brother. Her sleeve extended as if she was reaching out for him too... but the snap and scream made her cover her non existing ears. She slowly peeked up, seeing a large heart fly off.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

Razor sharp teeth gleamed at the Atterian. Her sleeves buckled as if she was making a fist. Her childish nature seemed to leave with her brother's heart as a blade shot from one sleeve and a large gun shot from her other.
How dare you take him away
I don't think that you will stay!
She stomped onto the ground, making a blast of energy blow out from the ground.

It blew the trees around violently as a pink aura twisted around her and her eyes glowed hauntingly. Her words weren't more of a threat... but a promise.
Her weapons retracted back inside her sleeve as she pointed at the Atterian.
From under her feet, Invisibles, Darkballs and more Neoshadows appeared and quickly raced towards the wolf as Rave continued to point at him.

The Heartless jumped at the wolf.. who would probably rip them to pieces like it was nothing, when a ring sounded off from a gun shot.
The sound of an engine roared over the chaos as more bullets flew down and into the Heartless, making them explode into dust and being drawn into Terra.
Everyone looked up, seeing where these bullets of Light were coming from.
An air bike.

A Viera gripped onto the handle as it soared above. A man had one arm around her waist and in the other was a gun. A spunky girl with rabbit ears rode on the handles, looking down.
Rave growled and pointed a sleeve up at them, making the flying Heartless go to attack them... but they were all gunned down easily.

The remaining twin cried out in furry, stomping again, sending an even more powerful blast out towards everyone, knocking whoever was standing down, even Terra. The remaining Heartless came back to her, surrounding her with their Darkness until she was engulfed.
Suddenly a loud roar came from the circling darkness as it shot up from the ground and towards the sky. The large bulk of Darkness started to glow yellow in two places as if it were eyes and another roar echoed from within.

Another set of yellow eyes widened in shock and in pain.
Darkness.... Darkness was invading his body again. It wrapped around his heart that no longer beat and clenched on like a sickness. His body shook as he leaned against the ship, panting hard as sweat ran down his body.
To...to much Darkness.
The eyes looked up, seeing the huge mass and watching it form into something...

But it never got the chance to.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!"
A powerful fist slammed into the ship, making the holding crack.
Pure Light shined through the crack and onto the Darkness, making it screech. Another pound and the crack became bigger, shining more Light. The Darkness disbursed and flew around, whipping through the grass and making trees fall.

"WATCH OUT!" Olette cried as she grabbed onto Fuu and pulled her away as a huge three fell down where they were sitting a moment ago. Xio had grabbed his pups quickly and raced out of the area with Vi just in time as another tree fell.
Roxel grabbed onto Tensai and pulled him to the ground as a shot of Darkness went flying over them.

Axel's eyes widened as he saw a large mass of Darkness heading their way and grabbed onto Roxas, who in turned pulled Namine out of the way as the Darkness CUT through the ship.
The smell of gas made Axel grow sick... know what it meant. "GET OFF! GET OOOO------!"
A huge explosion shot out through the forest as Sigurd exploded. Axel, Roxas and Namine were thrown into the air along with scrap metal.

Namine grabbed onto Roxas, knowing the man knew how to glide... but Axel on the other hand... wasn't very graceful in the air. Especially since he didn't weigh anything. He flew up higher and flailed as he started to drop but the sound of an engine and his shirt ripping from claws in it met his ears... and he was dangling from the airbike.

The scrap metal flew down, igniting some of the remaining trees around. Fuu frowned as she made Aerith help her up. She threw her chakrams out, having them spin and blow wind, putting out some of the fires.


As all this was happening, the Darkness retreated up into the sky, until it totally disappeared.

A skid trail from where Ven had been sitting to the woods could be seen. The blonde himself was pressed up against a tree, lying on his stomach. His yellow eyes were dim as he looked out... and from the corner of his eye... he could of sworn... that he saw his late brother's shoe.

Terra growled, standing his ground as the female heartless approached him, his eyes unafraid. His ears flipped back in confusion as the heartless rose instead and he snarled hunching down a little as they approached, tail standing proud behind him. Nothing but weaklings...

His ears perked as the ones closest to him suddenly exploded into nothingness. He glanced up seeing the fmailar figure and relaxed, taking a few steps away so not to get mistaken for a heartless himself.

The moment they were gone however a second shockedwave sent a ripple of panic through everyone as they were thrown over, yells and yelps echoing out. The figure tht slowly formed in front of them... was much more terrifying then the girl heartless - and the power of darkness in her was suffocating.

The pounding onto Silgurd echoed in the forest - and what wildlife that was left nearby took this chance to run away now. Moments later light and darkness collided, sending the darkness out in thousands of directions like a tornado did with anything it picked up.

Terra's ears flattened and he barked as a tree suddenly started to slant in front of him. he jumped out of the way then turned and jumped back onto the fallen tree, looking around for his mate.

Invidia yelped, rushing after Xio and her pups, her ears flipped back with fear.
Lucina grabbed onto her brother and suddenly dragged both of them further into the forest and behind a big boulder, but they could still peek over the top of if they wanted.
Tensai whimpered as Roxel held him, hearing bark cracking around him and Roxel knowing it was the trees. Moments later he heard the ship exploded and hide his head in the other boy's chest, tears rushing down his face. Everything was just... so loud...

"Oh shit oh shit oh shit." Aqua kept cursing. "RUN!" She snapped before turning on her heels and rushing for the trees.
"Fuck!!" Seifer cursed, rushing after her - but another shot of darkness smacked into the ground right at their feet. The ground flew up and took them with it. The two Chasers cried out as they sailed through the air only to smack hard into the ground. The two struggled to get bac k to their feet when the ship exploded - and the tremors rocked the ground, sending them back to the floor as shards of metal flew over them. Aqua sent out a few water spells to also keep some of the nearby fires out. They didn;t need to be cause of a wildfire as well.

Roxas smelt the gasoline as well - and didn;t need Axel's frantic cry to warn him. His own stomach twisted with apprehension and before either of them could do anything the ship was broken through and the explosion rocketed them into the air. he felt arms tightening around him - knowing apprehensively who it was and he in turn embraced the girl. He couldn't help but be worried about Axel - but he'd know if the other got hurt or not.
The blonde glided through the air, gracefully dodging the sharpnel and twisting into a turn when he sawa large tree. He was losing air and fast. He quickly landed on a branch, nearly losing his foot with the extra weight, and pressed himself against the trunk, holding the shivering girl close.

Terra laid his body flatly against the tree as sharnel flew through the air, watching his pack with attentive eyes, and satill unable to locate his mate. The minute it was all over the mass of darkness that had been created was gone - disappearing through the air. He looked up as Rave dispersed - brightening the sky once more. He bowed his head, coughing up some of the liquid darkness until some of it splashed messily onto the ground - burning into it like acid. He licked his fangs uncomfortably and slowly climbed from the tree and walked onto the field, looking around. Above on the airbike was the Viera and Axel - and in the forest he could here Fuu giving orders to Aerith and Olette looking for her kids. On the ground Seifer and Aqua still lay but slowly the two were finding their footing.
His eyes froze when he found his pup and Roxas' under two trees that had broken but they had fallen sideways and their trunks had smacked into one another, creating an upside-down V - saving the boys from being crushed. He trotted over to the two quickly, smelling the fear that was rushing over his pup. He leant down, pawing the boy tenderly.
Tensai whimpered as he felt something warm and padded run over his cheek and looked up gasping in both fright and surprise. He looked up at the wolf, his teeth chattered. "D-D-Dad...?"
The wolf tilted his head before turning away. His sliky tail wrapped around both boys and slowly picked them up, moving them back to their feet and away towards the trees - closer towards where Aqua and Seifer were approaching from.

Thats when he caught sight of the trail. He glanxced back at both the children before he walked away from them with a limping sort of gait, following the skid trail with an apprehensive air. And he was not surprised when he did indeed find his mate. Ven seemed to be staring at something far away.
Terra took another step and yelped in pain falling to the ground suddenly. Golden eyes glanced at his side, seeing the final blow Rant had delivered was still bleeding, the red matting his fur and a long blood trail showed his path. His ears flipped back and he snarled, slowly struggling back to his feet and stepped towards his blonde mate.

A paw reaching out as if to nudge the other, and slowly the claws stretched out and lengthed - the fur falling away to reveal tanned skin and grimy fingernails. The hand brushed the other's cheek shakily, and there was a soft utter of "Ven..." before Terra suddenly swayed as the pain consumed him and he fell back to the ground, unconcious.

Everyone panted as the Darkness needed to lift, slowly all falling into silence as they heard the crackling of Silgurd. Fuu caught her chakrams as they came back to her and sighed, slowly falling back to the ground. This was... absolutely fucking amazing.
They had no ship now... the room to the keyblades were leaking.
When would the drama end?

Most likely... never....

Roxel huddled with Tensai, not even knowing about the dangers above them. He was really too scared to move, and his grip on his best friend couldn't be broken. His eyes widened as the beast walked in their direction and clung onto Tensai more. Blue and green eyes glanced down at the amber eyed boy as he stuttered.
"Eeeeeeeee...." The blonde-red head whimpered as he and Tensai were picked up easily with a massive tail and placed in another location.
He blinked, looking back at where they were and saw the trees. He was old enough to know... that if those trees didn't land like that....

He looked up, seeing Aqua and Seifer walking their way... but he was too scared to move.

Aerith stayed by Fuu's side as Olette rushed over to her children, wrapping her arms around them. "Are you ok!?" She cried with worried as she showered them with kisses.

Namine held onto Roxas as they flew into a tree and yelped as they suddenly stopped. She swallowed, looking down and shaking more. Was... was it over?
Her hazel eyes closed as she tried to catch her breath.
Maybe... she wasn't Chaser material after all...

The airbike soon landed in the space between Silgurd and the woods. The redhead once again kissed the grass as he was placed on the ground.
The engine was turned off and the man and woman stood from it, leaving the young girl to sit in the driver seat.
They walked towards Aqua and Seifer, looking around at the scene as they left.

"Boy, aren't you all a class act."
The man started, looking around with a smile on his face. He was an odd fellow, quite shorter than the Viera standing next to him... and looked even shorter due to her long ears. His dirty blonde hair was slicked back and his eyes were full of adventure.
"I don't remember ordering any stunt performers." His noble British accent chimed as the Viera crossed her arms and looked down at him.

He pointed out at Seifer and smiled. "I presume your the stunt leader?"
Before Seifer could respond...
"Ahem..."
They all blinked and looked at the longed ear woman as she pointed out towards Terra, who had now fainted, and Ven.
The odd man turned, looking at them and placing his hands on his hips. "Aha...!"




Whiteness was all that could be seen. Mile and miles of nothing but white.
A hymn could be heard in the background... in a language that was unknown.

Black boots stepped forward. A blonde haired man looked around, his blue eyes shinning brightly.

What.... is this place? I've... seen it before...

He looked down, hearing a faint splash of something. Her face twisted in question as she saw the red splatter.
Blood. Slowly it started to move and took the shape of a heart. Slowly more drops of blood fell, making a path of hearts in front of him.
Blue eyes looked up, widening as they saw who it was leading him too.

An Atterian beast.

He was sleeping soundly.
Terra... Wake up you bum....

Blue eyes widened as a familiar voice came from above, making him look up and gapped his mouth.
Clouds... behind water.
He.. was under the water again, looking up at the clouds.
..........Akbar..........
Am.... Am I dead.....?

"Ven!? Ven, what are you doing here!? You haven't been invited yet!"
Ven's eyes widened more as a familiar voice came from far behind him. He whipped back, seeing a familiar brunette far, far away, waving to him.
"Wake up already!"


The blonde sat up in bed, panting a bit.
"Sora....?"
He shook his head slowly before looking out, seeing he was in a small room made of wood. It was pretty empty... and dusty.... and damp.

That place... that hymn....that voice...
He heard it... when... when he was cured of Darkness.

He looked to the side, seeing an empty bottle next on the nightstand. It was one of Aerith's, he could tell since he had seen her put things in them.
He looked down, looking for what types of wounds he might of endured... but... there wasn't a scratch on him.
Not even the ones he endured in the last battle.

There was a knock on the door, making him snap out of it and a familiar brunette peaked her face in. "Oh, you're awake." Her soft voice seemed chipper once again as she opened the door and closed it behind her as she walked in.
"You and Terra had us all scared there for a moment." She sat down on the bed, making it shift.

"Is.... is Terra ok?" The blonde questioned lovingly.
Aerith giggled but nodded. "I can't say... but it was cute the way you asked."
Ven frowned and looked at the bottle. "What did you give me this time?"
The old woman looked away and sighed. "Healing water."
"I was afraid you were going to say that..."
"I know... I shouldn't of. But... I thought that something like this would happen... ever since Riku and Sora died. I figured... I should take some..."
Ven sighed, shaking his head.

Aerith looked back at him, her face more serious.
"You and Terra fell into Darkness again... I had no choice."
Blue eyes widened as he looked back at her. "Wha...what?"
Aerith nodded. "I didn't take much water... but now I don't have any. Terra insisted that I gave it to everyone first before him... so I did... but you were a heavy case... and I wouldn't have enough to completely cure you...AND him... so he told me to use the rest all up on you...."

Ven looked down and closed his eyes.
"Fucking idiot..."
At least... everything made sense now.... at least... the best sense it could...
He sighed and looked up at her. "So where are we now?"
"In some sort of... refuged... in an large cavern."
"Is... everyone ok?"
"Besides Terra... yes."
The Second in Command of the Chasers just nodded and sighed softly.


Some yipping echoed though the cavern. Patter of feet brought up dust as they rushed down the rocks.
More exciting yipping happened moments later and a howl the next.
"You won again Tensai." Roxel smiled plainly as he looked at the boy sitting next to him, still huddled together.

Namine sat next to Roxas on a cavern rock as she watched, Lucina and Gunnar below them.
Axel sat next to Xio whose tail was wagging softly.
Down further in the cave was Vi and the pups.
Xio was the starting line and Vi was the finish.
The pups were racing and the kids were making bets.
So far, Tensai's pup had won each round.

The idea was to cheer up the kids and maybe distract them from the grave day... but it had little to no effect so far...


"I really wasn't expecting the script to change so dramatically. Guess it's not easy being popular."
A group sat at a round table under a dim light.
Seifer, Olette, Fujin and Aqua were on one side. Everyone was relieved from scrapes, burns and bangs due to the water. However, Fujin's toe couldn't be saved.
"I bet you don't want a nine toed wife..."
"You say that again and I'll have a bald wife!"

On the other end was the odd fellow and the Viera.
Introductions named them to be Balthier and Fran.
Fuu and Aqua already had the pleasure of meeting Fran, but her peculiar husband on the other hand...
"I'm guessing you'll be needing a new ship." Fran stated as she crossed her arms.
"Excuse me, my darling, but if I stand corrected, wasn't it these class acts that made us ask the same question?"

Fran's one ear bent as she looked at her husband, both giving each other a look.
"Fran... now don't look at me like that. You even said it yourself, 'That's what a sky pirate does, you fly'. Well, I don't exactly see us flying."
The Viera looked back at the four and nodded, hear ears perking again. "We'd help you find a ship."
The man next to her only sighed bit grinned.

OOC: !!! Why did they do that?!

Tensai watched the large wolf walk away, quivering all over. He looked at the trees as well and his eyes widened. He was also smart and old enough to understand what the trees implied.

Lucina sniffled, turning around and hugging her mother tightly. "Mom... our home..." It was gone.

Roxas sighed. "Come on..." He murmured softly, helping her up and down to the ground. he took her hand slowly leading her around the ship and towards the others. He knew she was scared - and he was sort of in shock. Had... all that really just happened?

Aqua and Seifer looked back at the blonde man. The bluette shrugged, turning and walked towards the kids, snorting a bit when he implied that Seifer was the leader. The blonde sent her back a glare that went ignored. She leaned down, placing her hands atop both their heads. "Hey it's okay you two..." In the corner of her eye she wcould see Roxas and Namine making their way over.

The bluette looked up, seeing everything in a disarray and slowly stood, knowing what needed to be done. Fuck it all she wasn't a leader - but she was Chaser number 3 and at this point had no choice. "Axel stop kissing the damn ground and get over here and calm your son and nephew." She looked towards the forest, crossing her arms. "Aerith get over to Ven and Terra make sure their alright. The rest of you get your asses out of the forest before anything else collaspes! Speaking of which we might as try to move away from the trees..."

As the others started to listen to her commands she grabbed Namine and sat her down. "Take some deep breaths and calm down." She then looked at Roxas. "Come on we need to take care of the keyblades."

The blonde glances back, seeing the light leaking from the area and grimanced, giving a nod. This was not going to be fun...


Lucina watched the races with dull eyes, her eyes full of silent fury. Silgurd was gone. Everything they had owned was destroyed - everything speacial they had receieved. Her sutffed animals and male-up and clothes... even... some of their last momentos from Sora and Riku...
All of it was gone. She'd never felt this much anger towards someone before,. If she ever saw that damn Rave girl again she'd shot her brains out... that was a promise.


Tensai sat there and smiled softly, nodding. He reached out, picking up his favorite little pup, hugging him to his chest. "Uh-huh." He was trying to be happy really he was. Being sad didn;t make anything better - but he'd just lost his home again and worse yet both his addies were very, very sick. Inwardly he was really scared... he didn't want to lose them too.

He couldn't even go and see them either... daddy Terra didn;t want anyone in his room and Aerith didn't want him in Ven's either so... he was very lonely. He curled up, holding the pup tightly until it yip-squeaked. "Ah sorry!!" He placed the moombacle back to the floor. He blushed bashfully as the pup shook himself, trotting over to his brother and sister and patted the other boy to the ground playfully.

The little boy sighed glanced back towards the rooms. Terra's was locked, and his dad's unapproachable. He didn;t really understad why he couldn't go see them...


Roxas watched the expressions on his son and nephew's faces comtemplatively, then he tilted his head. Terra dn Ven.. worried him too.
"I'm not sure Aqua but... if the shattering of their keyblade also broke apart their Awakening palate then yes... I'm pretty sure they can never become keybladers again."
"Fuck."
"Yeah. But we'll see when they wake up, we just have to wait."
"Hey Ten!" The boy looked over curiosuly. Roxas nodded to the green-collared pup the boy had fallen in love with. "How about you think up a name for him?"
It worked. The boy begame instantly distracted. "I can name him?!"
"Sure, why not? Just make sure it had an X~" He teased.
"Okay!" The boy place his hand in his chin, elbow on his knee much like his father Terra did when he was in deep thought, his eyes contemplative.

Aqua tapped her foot as the two argued, not really in the mood for it but hey he was right even though they didn't fucking ask to be thrown around like they were the balls to the pinball machine - but whatever. she didn;t really care anymore. She didn't care Fuujin was missing a toe or that they lost their home or that all their possessions were destroyed - though she was pretty sure Ven was going to be pissed when he fidns out he lost his seat and that hot air balloon lamp; and Terra was going to freak when he finds out about his library... whenever they woke up. The kids were still crying over it.

She just... wanted everyone to be alright.

She looked up at Fran's words and smiled, nodding some. "Thanks... uh Seifer I'll leave it to you to judge okay?" They really couldn't go far though until Terra was alright... that fucking idiot just had to give up the water for them. And now... he was basically quarentined into his room and ordered everyone to stay the fuck out.
It was... sort of scary. Out of everyone Terra had never been prone to getting hurt. Ven definitely, herself occasionally, Fuujin of course, Seifer sometimes, Olette a few times as well... but there wasn't many occasions she could think of where Terra had gotten exclusively hurt... now it seemed his luck ran out.

The blonde man nodded. "Got it." He himself wasn't so concerned about the things they had lost. everyone was alive that's what counted... yet he was still worried about Rave's last words. The threat of returning for their children...
Whether they wanted to or not they were going to have to step up the training for the kids. Once - or maybe he should say if - Terra got better... they would have to move around their life plans some.


The dark yellow sand shifted as a wind whipped up, spreading dust around the desert. Sand dunes shifted and quicksand swirled, threatening to suck up anything stupid enough to walk in it's path. The sun up in the sky was burnt orange and setting the land aflame.
In the distance a hazy figure began to appear - looking almost like a mirage. The figure stumbled about, breathing hard. Sweat collected at his brow and stick his cltohes to him like glue. The heat was slowly beginning to sear his skin red. Blue eyes blinked behind limp brown locks as he limped aout the world - and unsuspectingly slipped into the shifting sand.
He yelped, arms wheeling in an attempt to catch himself and he landed hard into a pile of Quicksand. He weakly fought against the strong hold - but his fingers ached and his legs where hurt and his whole side felt aflame.
It was just... so much easier to let go...
The man stopped struggling and let the sand slowly devour him. His legs were taken, than his torso, his arms, his neck...

Terra... Terra it is not your time yet...
Blue eyes snapped open, the sand slowly swallowed his face. Yet... he felt around wrapped comfortably around his shoulders from behind and pulling him from the depths - something that seemed impossible...
Suddenly he was laying out on the sand by the pile that nearly killed him, looking around desperately for that voice he knew oh so well. But they were gone.
"M..." Terra rasped. "MOTHER!"


The brunette convulsed in bed as he awoke, hissing in pain as he felt the stitches in his sides tug violently. "Fuck... Fuck!!!" He grabbed onto the edges of the bed and tugged himself towards the edge so his head was tipped towards. His whole body seemed to clench then he retched, black froth slipped past his lips and sloshing to the ground, hissing as it bubbled and dispersed into the air. Everything from his stomach to his lips burned like it was on fire. It was enough to make him heave again but this time he didn't throw anything up.

The wolf laid atop the experiment table, his tail hanging limply over the side. Up above their were cracks in the ceiling and like molasses darkness slimed from it, sloshing into the ground and burning away at the floor and the bars of the cells and beds and the tubes and everything was very very slowly being consumed and destroyed.
Terra had no energy to move even as the slime sloshed onto his wolfian body and burned away patched and fur and blackened the skin underneath. The other Terra would soon join him in their inner world and watch as it was all burned away.
The wolf hissed as slime drizzled down his muzzle his eyes sparking furiously and his body shaking with the pain. He was slowly, ever so slowly, going mad. Before they died... he knew what would happen. They would become rabid. This darkness, this pain, this world...
He snarled.

Terra panted his lips pulling back a little to reveal fangs. He grit his teeth, snapping the canines around the edges of the bed and bit down, his eyes shutting tightly. He screamed, the sound muffled. He legs jerked around, slashed through the mattress. He unlocked his jaws rolling about on the bed and sliced his claws into his pillow, his eyes a bright, sickly yellow.
He was losing himself. He knew it. He was scared of letting anyone inside this room anymore because he was slowly becoming unable to recognize anyone. He was certain... he would attack anyone who came into this room. That's why he told them to stay out - especally his son.
W-What's happening to me? He thought desperately, looking at the walls covering in claw marks. His bed with ripped sheets and his side covering in blood from his claws digging out the stitches so many times.
He didn't care anymore.

He collapsed back onto the bed, exhuasted and his breath labored and heavy. His eyes were dilated and his vision hazy. Everything was burning now. His arms, his legs, his eyes, his lungs, his gut, his heart...
The blue orbs disappeared behind pale lids, tears marking a burning path down his face. "Ven..." He rasped weakly, scared for his lover. If he lost it... what would happen to him?
What... would happen to Tensai...
Be strong Terra... come on you're not this weak... He growled to himself.
