Vertix shook his head as he looked up " no I dont... damn I should have listened more to your father and Raichu when they where training me..." slowly he tried to move his leg but winced it wasnt enough he was probrably going to die from blood loss... there was no way they would be able to get back up and even if Yuffie could find a way up he would be left here alone and would probrably die by the time she got back...

Yuffie looked up aimed her hands to the sky. someone had to see this signal, "FIRE 2!" the fire shot up like fireworks and flashed into the sky. she sighed and kept doing it. they needed so much help at the moment.

Vertix folded his arms he was now wishing he hadnt thrown away his kimono he was freezing badly he needed warmth and now. He shivered as a small breeze came pushing back his hair " y..yuffie.. if I die.. I want you to tell my brother that im sorry..." he said in a low voice " and one other thing... damn... Ive liked you since... since I moved to Wutai when I was ten... I just was to scared to tell you..." he sighed looking down at the blood drainnig from his leg

"well i've liked you too. i don;t want you to forget it either. and your not gonna die. someone has to pick up our signal. i wish they would!" she kneeled down kissed Vertix. tears streamed down her face and she fired another signal snuggling closer to vertix trying to warm him.

Vertix smiled as he felt his lips and hers touch he wasnt scared anymore at all he held her closer he winced slightly as he felt herleg let against his he trembled fromt he pain he felt he was going to die... he wouldnt let his moment go to waist he had waited for this for so long... a gentle kiss from her...

Yuffie wished someone would see. even Tifa but no one would come. they were going to die down here and that was that. it was all over. the kiss was all they had left to share.

Suddenly Tifa looked out from the window of the inn she saw a flame fire out into the sky. " what the hell a signal?" Slowly she walked over to Josh and began to shake him" Josh wake up come on please I think somebody is in trouble... "
Vertix broke away from the kiss " Yuffie go.. leave me here alright... there is no reason for you to stay here with me... just go." he smiled slightly as he brushed his hand against her cheek " you can make it out alright... I want you to live dont stay here and die with me... "

Josh's eyes opened slowly as he looked up and saw Tifa he smiled " huh what?" Tifa pulled him up " come on somebody shot off a flare in the air I think they need our help"
Vertix frowned and shook his head " Yuffie dont be so stuborn please... I dont want you to die. You dont deserve to die at all you havent done anything wrong!" slowly he looked over at his wound his skin was turning purple in that area the cold was eating away at his flesh swelling it up

Gently he wrapped his arms around her and started to cry burying his head into her shoulder " Yuffie.. please.. do it for me, its only giving me more pain to see you like this... you dont have to stay here with me..."

Vertix frowned and shook his head slowly " dont do this please... there is no way that you can stay... Yuffie just run and get help alright... I will be fine." he frowned looking upwards it seemed like the flares werent working " Yuffie Just go please!"
