Nesses looked around. Her master never told her what to do in this kind of situation. "Does he need human blood or can he drink vampiric blood?" she looked at zelda but doubted that she would know. she placed her hand on gradd's shoulder "please hang on guardian."
Suddenly a loud cry filled the air and Nesses looked up. The beast from before swooped down and grabbed a vampire and swallowed it. the other vampires looked up and started to painic. "Retreat!" they started to run away as the flying creature chaced after them. Nesses looked at Zelda and smirked. "you see what kindness can bring?"

Gradd suddenly went into a trance as his soul flew through white clouds and suddenly stopped... he looked up at as he saw a tall well built white bearded man.. " w... who are you...?" Gradd asked as he looked at him... The man smiled " I am Iloheim the creator of all if you will" he smiled walking up to gradd " my dear son you are having trouble understanding your strength and power? here" slowly he put his hand on grads forehead as gradd began to glow all around... he felt a scourge of energy flow through his mind and his soul... slowly Iloheim brought his hand away and smiled " now you know of your powers my son now go wake up into your body soon they will give you the blood you need to revive" Gradd looked at him oddly then suddenly everything went blank again as it faded away...

"you see how your emotions are?" Zelda snaoped back, "gradd's the one who thoughts it was werid not me!" she looked down and started shaking him, "wake up Gradd!"

She frowned and looked around. A vampire ran infront of her and she grabbed him by the arm and threw him on the ground. "forgive me." she took her nail and peirced its wrist. she pulled it over to gradd and placed the vampires wrist on gradd's mouth. "I hope this works..."

The blood seeped into gradd's mouth as suddenly his eyes opened and he bit into the wrist hard draining the blood.. suddenly he awoke as he looked over at them then spit the hand out and began to cough.. he was breathing heavily as he looked around " w... what happend?"

"the vampriies were attacking you," Zelda said casually like he was telling him he got a on a math test, "but Nesses and me helped out to stop them," she answered truthfully.

Nesses nodded. "you are going to have to find a better way to attack. you fight like jackel." she giggled then sighed. the vampire that she had cut was dead. she shook her head and stood up. the camp was in complete fire from Ifrits hellfire. "Water!" some water shot from her palms and put out the flames. the smell of burning flesh fill the air and she placed her hand over her nose. "we should find some weapons for you two."

Gradd smiled at the two and started to laugh then looked down at his hand.. it was glowing as he took off his glove.. a new crest apeared over it... a heart with a king over it and two swords through it " huh what the hell..? the dream.." he shook his head confused

Zelda stood and looked at her, "hey i'm just fine with what i have! arrows are prefect for me." she nodded then glanced around, "lets go..."

"wait..." she walked to gradd and knelt down. she looked at his new symbol and gasped. "The.......the king of Hearts......" she stood up and backed away. "you......you are the legend." she was in complete shock. she blinked and looked at Zelda then back at gradd. she knelt down and bowed.

Gradd blinked as he looked at her " huh what?" slowly he stood up as he rubbed his hand trying to get the symbol off then slowly it disapeared " why did it... its gone.. whats a king of hearts?"

"the king of what?! we aren;t playing cards here!" Zelda said a tad annoyed. she didn;t understand what was going on so she didn;t ask.

Gradd shook his head to her " no im your guardian and that was that... in the dream the old man.. he put his hand over my head and then I glew.. he said to protect or something im not sure... listen I need the both of you with me.. and you know that I can be a good guardian and now bowing its just a stupid symbol ok"

"she;s bowing i don;t get it, " Zelda just said, "your a card now gradd?" Zelda said and smiled, "cause thn i;d just love to play with you," she said and winked at him.
