Gradd caught up quickly and stopped still holding Zelda in his arms he looked up at the temple and blinked "wow... so this is it?" he walked up to the wall and put his hand on it " is ther a door or will we have to climb up?"

Zelda got out of Gradd's arms and looked around. she sighed, "its nice..." she said then glanced around. no one was near...

Jackel turned to gradd and smirked. "there is no wall." he closed his eyes and walked through it. A large griffin stood at the base of the temple's steps. jackel walked up to it and bowed. "i've come to see Nesses, Summoner on this land. My I pass?" the griffins eyes opened and looked at Jackel. It sniffed the air and growled. it looked around and and blinked. "you are jackel the hydra?" Jackel nodded. the griffin put his head down. "You may pass." Jackel smiled then frowned. "I have some others that wish to come, please judge them fairly for one is half vampire."

Gradd blinked as he saw him pass through the wall " what the... how did he?" Gradd pushed his hand through and fell through as he began to stumble as he tripped and fell on his face. " ow.. what the.." slowly he got up on one knee as he looked up seeing a griffin... " wow thats a big.. bird..." he said in a silent voice and stood upwards slowly he glanced back " Zelda come on!"

Zelda sighed and shut her eyes putting her hand in then walking through. she opened her eyes and looked around, "hmmm?!" she looked at the griffion and tilted her head to the side.

the griffin nodded. "they may pass." it stood up and walked to the side as the main doors opened. Jackel looked back at the two, "come on. Don't touch ANYTHING." he walked up the steps and into the temple. it was very dim, only tourches lit up the large room. he looked around, everything was covered in dust. how could she live like this? he walked up to the shrine and looked up. Nesses's empty body floated infront of a circular pad with 8 emblens planted in it. he sighed and continued to walk up to the sacrifice table.

Gradd took Zelda by the hand as they walked past the griffen he looked at it oddly, he had seen many things in his life but nothing like it... " J..Jackel what is that thing?" he asked as he caught up to him

Zelda tore her hand away and just stared then walked towards a torch and looked at the flame. she looked at everything else, "why can;t we touch anything?" she asked innocently.

"shh!.......only whispers." he walked up to her and looked at the torch. "she's in a deep sleep and if she is awakened the wrong way, this whole temple will colapse. so please don't touch one thing." he looked over at gradd. "that's a griffin, the guardian of the temple. he's a aeon, a creature that protects Nesses from harm, her pet if you will."

Gradd nodded to him " oh... one of the creatures that you told me about earlier right?" he said in a quiet whipser. " do you tihnk that we will be able to rest while we are here...? We have been traveling all day..."

Zelda sighed. she was sick of listening to people but she doesn;t want to die so she kept quiet. she looked around frowning.

he frowned and nodded to gradd. "just wait till i wake her ok?" he walked up to the podeum and placed his arms forward. small cuffs appeared and wrapped around his wrist. spikes shot out into jackel skin and he winced. blood started to drip in a bowl and was going into pipes. a few minutes later, the blood surrounded the 8 emblems. they began to glow and the whole room turned pitch white. when everything cleared, the cuffs snapped off and fell to the ground. he looked up and smiled.
Nesses stood up and grabbed her staff. she opened her eyes and looked over her temple floor.
Jackel emediatley got on one knee and bowed.

Gradd nodded as he followed behind Jackel, slowly he glanced back at Zelda and walked up to her " come on alright later we can have some time alone" he smiled at her taking her hand " now lets go" he looked over towards Jackel and the Summoner oddly why did he have to give the blood...?

Zelda pulled her hand away and sighed. she looked at the summoner and glared slightly. she;d be damned if she was gonna be nice. were they supposed to bow?

Jackel glared back at them, "bow on a circle." he pointed to the 5 circles on the floor. he growled. why didn't they bow? a summoner needs great respect, especially one that just woke.
