Gradd shook his head " no come on Ive seen what you can do, I do need your help I wont be able to fight against kain on my own... I need you!" Gradd was serious now for the first time since they met. He then looked at Zelda and smiled " she knows it aswell, how strong you are... we saw you when you killed those vampires..." he then looked back at Jackel " alone things will only be harder on us..."

"i'll get you through the forest, but then you're on your own. anyway, i know someone beyond the forest that will come in handier then myself. she doesn't feed off flesh and blood nor is she human. she'll be more usefull to you anyway since we just can't seem to get along. Nesses is her name, i'm sure you heard of her. The world's summoner...?"

Gradd blinked as he looked at him oddly he had never heard the word before... summoner. " huh whats a.. whats a summoner?" he asked looking at the boy oddly is it some kind of a demon? One thing for sure Gradd didnt like demons they bothered him greatly just as much as vampires...

jackel blinked. "you don't know what a summoner is? what, you lived under a rock? wait, you did, never mind. well, a summoner is a creature that can summon great beast of the earth to rise and help the innocent. it is also important to have a summoner for they can release the dead's souls to the afterlife. by doing this, Kain has a harder time with his soul reaver, making him less powerful."

Gradd looked at him oddly then nodded " oh.. I think I get it.. so they can bring powerful creatures out to help them in battle?" he looked at him oddly " how would it make the soul reaver weaker...? does the sword really feed off of souls?" he shivered at the thought of it if so he would do everything he could to stop kain

"exactly, a summoner would be a great person to help. me? i'm just a ravage beast. i'll tear through everything and that won't be very helpful when it comes to a silent attack." he turned to gradd. "yes, the soul reaver lives off souls. the summoner free the souls before they can be eaten. Nesses would help greatly."

Gradd nodded as he smiled, this would be great then but still kain did have a massive amount of power... he was the ultimate vampire... and it was said that none could rival against his power. He frowned knowing this would be very hard to do his father he hated him so much he would get revenge for his mothers death

Gradd smiled looking at Zelda in a way a part of him wanted it to be just the two of them... he wanted to prove to her that... that he wasnt just some stupid vampire... he wanted to prove that he could love her. He frowned knowing it could never happen he hated what he was and it only hurt him so much... He hen looked over at Jackel " yeah you.. you should coem with us..." he smiled then looked over at Zelda as he began rubbing her hand again

Jackel crossed his arms and looked down at zelda's hand being rubbed. he rolled his eyes and looked away. "well, i would guess that gradd would like to be around two females instead of one female and a little boy..." he put his arms down and started walking it the direction he stomp off from. "let's go to the forest. after we pass it, we can make a quick detour to the Nosgoth temple. that's where Nesses lives."
