i was just wondering if u kids could give me some advice... i was hanging out with some of my best friends from high school today... and well... there's one (well 2... but one's my ex...) of them that i rather like... but i'm not sure whether or not i should ask her out... i mean, she's one of my best friends... and she's a bit younger than i am... i'm not even sure she'd go out with me... for various reasons that i don't particularly want to go into here and now... but what do u kids think?? should i give it a shot??

u r right miss reno... i do need a girlfriend... that's part of why i'm a bit hesitant to ask her out... i'm kinda afraid that, subconciously, i'm so desperate for a woman that i'm transferring feelings onto amy that don't really exist...

yeah... but i'm not normal... i can't not think about that... this girl was one of my best friends about 2 years ago... i took her to prom my senior year... then i sort of... faded out of existance so to speak... all that summer... then through my first year of school... and then through the beginning of this other school... last sunday was the first time i really talked to her in a year and a half... is it really right for me to just... reappear like this and try to randomly start a relationship?? am i being stupid?? some of you are women... (and the rest of u prolly have more experience with them than i do...) what do you think?

actually the not being around for a while plays in your favor. Ask her out, and now you have this opportunity to get to know her again, and not as just a freind anymore. |

i wish i could say i've never lied to a woman... i can say that i've never lied about anything serious... and i can say that i have never, nor will i ever, cheated on a girlfriend... and i think i am gonna try... i have several days off this week... i think on one of them i'll call her up and take her out to dinner or something...

yeah... the other day i had finally made up my mind and decided that i'd ask her out today... i had decided to drag her to the mall (we used to hang out there from time to time) and ask her out there... so of course it snowed... and my crappy little kia is horrible in the snow... and the rents won't let me borrow the subaru... so it looks like its gonna be next week... but the good part here is that i actually made a decision that wasn't completely random!!
