"bacon!" Devi answered and smiled. she pet her cat and picked her up, "now my little cleo needs to eat as well." Devi pet Cleo making her purr then set her back onto the floor. she walked away and got a can and started opening it.

piume smiled. bacon....he started to eat somemore and saw that Devi threw away the cat food can. he picked it up and ran his finger against the side and stuck some left over cat food in his mouth. he looked down at Cleo. "and you like this stuff?" cleo looked up and meowed. piume nodded. "i see".

Devi shivered and giggled, "ew you silly. i think you have amnesia or something! don;t eat cat food."
Cleo meowed and started eating her food. Devi sat down and started eating the bacon.

Piume giggled. "i just wanted to try it. i never had it before." he smiled and continued to eat his bacon. his back still hurted from the night before but he wasn't one to complain.

Devi smiled and giggled and continued to eat. she wanted to ask him a few questions but she could see the sadness hidden in those eyes. she didn;t think it was wise to ask him.

Devi smiled finished up her food giving Cleo little bits. she picked up their plates, "don;t worry about it. anything to drink?"

piume looked down. "umm.....sure, what do you have?" He didn't bother asking for wine, which he usually drank. Earth was much different and he wanted to see what humans drank to refresh themselves.

"soda!" she said happily. Devi opened the refridertor after dumping the plates into the sink. she took out two cans off Coca Cola and closed the door with her foot. she walked over to him and handed him one of the cans, "try it."

He took the can and looked at it. It was in a strange bottle type thing. he examined it and then placed it on the table. he poked at it a little and sighed. "how do you drink it?"
