Rina frowned. "maybe they won;t die. they'll just turn into vampires." she sat up. "I've already done test after test research after research. thye reason Magus wasnlt able to recreate it was because he COULDN;T." She lifted the mostly empty bottle sighing. "The materials needed are gone and the evolutions of them... won;t heal the sickness."

Rina looked at the bottle in her hands, bowing her head and shutting her eyes. She had failed. She could already feel it deep in her heart. And though several ideas were spinning in her head...

Rina looked down at Iris, then glanced at Riku who was asleep at her bedside. she looked at the potion. Magus... am i making the wrong choice? she asked. She knew he could hear. Ever since she had started this insane spiral to trying to save the cetra... he had been watching and listening to her.
But she was afraid she was making this decision selfishly. Iris was a cetra, a strong one who could use the white materia. She would live her mother;s legacy... but there was Sora the keyblader - who, if he did indeed turn - would no doubt lose that power to wield it.

" In this manner... the Cetra are merley taking there course as Jenova intended... extinction" Magus said standing not to far away " with her death... she had truly, in all ways of life won her war against the Cetra... the other children have already started to show signs of it aswell, I knew it would only be a matter of time... and Raichu will die soon aswell."

Rina bowed her head, before walking to stand over Iris again. she reached across her, running her hand through her son;s hair softly.
