The 12 captains were silent, their minds wrapping around what Genryuusai had just informed them of.
"so..." Ichigo, brash as always, spoke up first. "you made a deal with Hades... thats completely stupid!" he threw up his hands.
"Is it Kurosaki?" Genryuusai challenged. "This war would be for the same ends, but in this way we can lessen the damage and death done even if we lose."
Sora bowed his head. "I want to be on of the fighters." he said automatically.
Ichigo scowled. "me too!"
Hades had proposed one hell fo a deal - rather then dragging out the war for many long monthes that would only end in thousndas being killed... he offered to have a tournament. This tournament would have nine people from each side compete to the death. It wasn;t a moving up sort of tournament like the ones his father fought in on Earth - it was a one-on-one brawl and whichever side came out with the majority of victories would gain heaven.
And Sora and Ichigo had already claimed that they would participate. they needed seven more.

" Right now... we need time... before we choose whom..." Renji said standing forward not liking this at all...
" Time? Time is what you want? How about this... since my lord and master of all that is living and dead and everything else is so generous! Ganon lord of all! Twenty Four hours... thats all the time you have to choose..." Hades said a smirk on his face

Sora's eyes narrowed towards Hades. He didn;t like this. he himself knew how tricky Hades was. he made deals and always had plans up his sleeves.
But Genryuusai was right. the outcome would be the same whther they fought the tournament or fought the war. At least... this gave him hope of not losing everything.
Ichigo growled his fists clenching as he glared towards Hades. he was getting into the tournament no matter what...
Genryuusai nodded. "Twenty-four hours is fine."

" Good... I will let master ganon know you will have your answer ready by morning... bing bang botta chang!" he grinned then snapped his fingers a contract forming infront of the Shinigami General.

Genryuusai nodded, rasiing a pen. the others all tensed, but bowed there heads, not syaing a word as the contract was signed.

Genryuusai shut his eyes. Nine people...
The moment Hades was gone Ichigo stomped his foot. "Alright then! I'm fighting!"

" Gennryusai and myself will choose whom will participate" Seijuro Hiko suddenly started walking forward his eyes narrowed towards the group " Only the most powerful will participate... if there is any sign of weakness..."

Sora slammed his hand over Ichigo's mouth to shut him up. "Be quiet idiot." he grumbled.

Sora sighed, looking towards the ground. He knew one name that was going to be up there tommorrow. His father's.

Sora stared at the list blankly. His own name being on there didn;t faze him in the least. Nor did Ichigo's.
It was the one right at the bottom of the list.

Kurosaki, Ichigo
Kuchiki, Byakuya
Kenpachi, Zaraki
Hojo, Sephiroth
Gast, Joshua
Magus
Hiko, Seijuro
Hia grandfather... was actually going to fight?
