But as the week past both Tenks and Ryten were gone, they had leaft too Officer Candidate School too enrol in the Shinra Army. Both of there mothers didnt want them too leave but they worked their ways around it and just took off...

A year would pass Ryten had written home everyday too reassure his mother that he would be fine. He was a second lieutenant, a first class Soldier, so was Tenks... he was the elite, and he was only seventeen years old. He was on his way home for the first time in over a year, he sat on the the train on destny islands, his family had no idea that he was returning. He never called only written letters...
His goal was too surprise them... atleast... he hoped that he would, he was all dressed up in his best uniform, he wanted too look good for his mother...

"Sora can you get the wood?" Aeris called from the ktichen, stirring up the sauce.
"Yeah." Sora called. he was the eldest in his family in all technicalities - it was almost like he had taken over for his father. He walked from the house, suddenly as the winter's air hit him. even on the beach it got cold here. the ocean was freezing azt this time of year, storms often raged the land. he sighed, picking up a bundle of wood. Raine loved the fireplace - that was why he was now 'resident wood cutter'. not that he minded. anything that made his family happy was fine with him.

Raine stared at the fire sitting down next too it coloring inside her coloring book, she smiled watching as her older brother put more wood in the fire " Big brother! Big Brother! Look!" she lifted up a picture she had drawn of the entire family, it showed a picture at the top of Ryten and her father both with halo's over their heads and angel wings. She had a better concept now of life and death... alot better than she had a year ago...

That day had come sooner than they would think just an hour later there was a knock at the door Ryten stood there just waiting for somebody, just anybody too open the door.
