Sora kicked a rock pouting. "i... i know..."
Roxas shook his head rolling his eyes. "Would a trip to the lake mae you less of a gloom?"

Roxas and Sora were down by a more secluded area of the lake - one anyone hardly visisted. It used to be their mother's (Ayane's) favorite spot but she never seemed to come here anymore.
Roxas laughed as he kicked Sora into the water. The brunette surfaced, spluttering, then with a grin, wrapped a few tendrils of water around Roxas and dragged him in too.
"ack Sora!" Roxas cried with a laugh.

But just as Roxas fell in a Kunai raced piercing through the air and deep into his back

Or at least, it would have if not by dumb luck that the kunai had aimed straight to were Sora had wrapped some of the water. rather then hurting his brother the kunai bounced off of the water as if it were hard as steel.
There was a splash as Roxas hit the water, moments later coming up for surface. "The hell was that?!"
Sora was looking at the kunai blankly. had that had hit his brother... he probably would have died. "Dive!" he yelled suddenly, and without a second's notice both both dived under the water. they were in Sora's element and in their they were more likely to be safe.

His eyes narrowed and the water suddenly turned against the both of them wrapping around both of their necks squeezing violently

Sora grimanced, struggling hard. what? this wasn;t possible! no! he choked. beside him he could see Roxas thrashing. they were going to be able to stand this much longer...
He grabbed his brother's arm, yanking him upowards, controlling his own side of the water, snapping the tendrils hard.
with a quick upstroke they surfaced, gasping hard and without a pause, jumped atop the lake, running to shore.

The sand itself seemed too grab onto them slamming both of them onto the ground.

The boys both gave a cry as they hit the ground. Sora grit his teeth, struggled against the hold.
Roxas grit his teeth, looking up towards the trees - where? he struggled to get to his knees, making a few quick hand motions and breathed in deeply, when he breathed out, fire sprung from his mouth and began to burn towards the forest.

Again the boys screeched in unison, at the same time they reached for their swords - they were twin swords, exactly same in make just different in color, Sora drew his- a sword of pure white that Kairi liked to call Oathkeeper - while Roxas drew his, one pure black and speaking only of it;s name - Oblivion.
Sora aimed low, sweeping the sword for the man;s legs while Roxas spun his backwards, aiming for his captor's arm.

"You have the Mizubenda..." Sora whispered then, concentrating hard on his own blood, trying to break the hold. he just had to get control again! but this man... he was so much older so much more experienced so much more... expertly trained. "your a Gogyou."
Roxas grit his teeth then, unable to move and pissed about it. "what the hell are you doing to us?"
