" Get your knives... were going too show him what happens when you play with knives!" he slashed down at Rytens face suddenly cutting into his cheek.
Ryten let out a scream but it was quickly muffled by a boy putting a gag over his mouth preventing any screams.

The other boys grinned, bringing their knifes down as well.
Sora ran all thw way home, breathing hard as he slamemd open the door. he screamed. "HEEEELP!"

Ryten was crying he could feel the slashed he was bleed all over, he struggled violently but it wouldnt stop! Why!? Was this because of him too!? He grimaced but felt them again, and again! they wouldnt end!

Sora was in tears, he shook his ehad.
"Sora whats wrong/!" Kaname said frightened.
"Ry... Ry forest... bigs kids came with shiny things and and hurting him!"
Kaname stared blankly, then she grit her teeth. "Sora... Sora stay here and don;t you dare leave., watch your brothers and sister's, alright?"
Sopra nodded, and Kaname ran from the house, slamming the door shut behind her,

Ryten had been rushed too the emergency room, the boy had lost alot of blood and the doctors had too act fast, it was just an hour after the operation, a blood transfusion had too be done too save the boys life, he laid there his eyes opened as he breathed not being able too move. It was his grandmother who had found him and had him rushed out too the hospital, she never left his side... " My fault..." he kept whispering every so often blaming himself once again... he felt like everything... he rarley said anything else, taking the blame for all that had happend...

Ryten stared blankly when he looked over hearing his mothers voice for the first time he breathed just staring, she must have just entered the room, it was hard too even talk...

He leaned into her touch his mother was dressed like a nurse... was she working here now...?
" We barley saved him." the doctor said walking inside " Did you see how did this?" he asked looking over at Kaname a frown on his face

Years would pass.
And the children learned quickly what ;years' really was. There father was locked up for three of them - Aeris, though she had tried to pay bail, was not allowed too. The police was controled by ShinRa and of course, this was payback. And many of the kids were uncomfortable with him now. Many had been teased about having a dad in jail...
It had been a very mixed up year for all the kids. Some were so tentative aroudn Ryten who was deeply ashamed of himself and his scars. School was hell for the poor boy, but his siblings always tried to stay by his side.
However, as they grew, distance grew. Siblings fought without a care, mixed with bad crowds, or made new friends.
Now, sopomore year had approached. Sora walked on campus, running a hand through his hair, grinning brightly as he looked for his best friend, Riku, or his other friend Kairi.

" So what now?" Riku asked leaning against his car it was lunch time, the three had always gone out too lunch together ever since he had gotten his car.
" I want chinese food" Kairi said smiling
" You always want chinese food!" Riku fought back then the two both stared at Sora for approval

Ryten breathed in a cigarette then blew it out, he had just gotten out of detention for fighting, he had learned that if he was going too survive that he had too depend on himself... not his brothers... not his sisters and definatley not his parents... often he wore long clothes covering his body and gloves covering his hands, all in black he hated the idea of letting anyone see his scars and often never showed up too any P.E. classes skipping them without a seconds notice. He just... didnt care... he had even been offered a few drugs and was tempted, very tempted too take them...
