The man blinked as the wolf continued to talk. His pack? His.... scent? Too human? He was human.... He watched the wolf transform again and run off towards the woods.
The gun fell to his side and found its way back into it's holdings.
Mos turned to look down at the snarling fox. A small smile ran over his face as he crouched down. "Is that anyway to treat someone when they just saved your life?" He asked.
There you go talking to animals again.
He looked at her in the trap and frowned. He walked over to the chain and pulled at it... but nothing budged. He pulled the gun out again and fired, making the chair break. There. He slowly moved to the vixen again. "It's ok... I'm not going to hurt you..." He slowly reached out and touched her head softly, rubbing it a bit as his other hand quickly opened the trap from her leg.

The vixen's ears twitched as the fellow Jakku helped her out. But why? He was not of her pack. It did not make any sense, but she was grateful.
She stopped scowling when she saw him attempted to unchain her. The gunshot however, made her whole body jump. Even if she ran she wouldn't of gotten far with the trap upon her.
The kind touch made her a little wary yet comforted and she was shccked even more when the Jakku opened her trap for her, and he slid her back paw out caustiously, laying it onto the ground. it hurt terribly. she started to lick it, tasting blood.

Mos watched her carefully in the moonlight. The cigarette was pulled from his mouth slowly, making sure not to startle her any. He let out some smoke and put it back into his mouth.
She was very pretty.... Wait....WHAT!? He blinked. Oh good lord!!! I'M A FREAK! Bestiality was gross and vial. He just shook his head and rubbed the back of his neck.
Seeing her lick her wound made him grow a wryly face. Slowly he reached down and ripped a bit of his shirt off. It was old and dirty anyway... but he gently wrapped it around the poor vixen's wound carefully.

The vixen watched him carefully, but did not bite him or resist. He had saved her, and she was thankful. The moon tribe was very strong, and one she had been running from for years.
She was... curious about this one though. Very much so. The smoke made her nostrils flare. Such things lessened the power of one's nose did it not? Why would he put himself at risk like that?
She watched him, then licked her hand, showing her gratitude.

Mos made sure he was very careful. He didn't want to get rabies or anything but she didn't seem to have any. It was weird... he didn't think wolves attacked foxes. Than again... that wolf wasn't exactly normal. Maybe Hojo wasn't full of shit after all.
But he always knew deep, down inside... that Hojo wasn't full of shit.
He bit his lip a bit, his eyes becoming softer as his fangs started to form back to his normal looking teeth. He slowly reached for his hat and pulled it off.
Fox ears were bent out of shape, flat and crooked on the redhead's head.

The fox looked up at the ears, her eyes flickering from his face back to them. They looked like they had been damaged in some way... She stood on her feet slowly, then, much like the wolf had... she transformed. Long red and black hair framed her body, nearly hiding her completely like clothes could have.
"So you are a Jakku." She whispered, drawing her arms close. "You smell so close to a human it would have been an easy mistake..."
Her bushy tail wrapped around her legs. She was quite beautiful as a human as well, but a few scars littered her body - previous encounters with quarry or traps. She had learned a lot. Her eyes were a sharp brown color. The ears atop her own head stood proud and unharmed.
"Thank you." she said, nodding her head to him.

Mos blinked as he too watched her change in front of his eyes. Gil winning picture three down the drain. He could be living in a nice house by now. He sulked a bit but looked down at bare feet.
Slowly his eyes moved up her body, then up to her face. His ears seemed to pop right up but then lowered again as she spoke. Her voice was so beautiful...
Haha... Mos? What are you smoking? He pulled the cigarette out of his mouth and looked at it. It didn't seem to be any different.... so he popped it back in after a smoky exhale.
He looked at her oddly. A Jakku? What was that? He shook his head and pulled the snow hat over his ears. "No, I'm sorry... I am a human..." He stated softly. A very... special human. That's what his mother had said....
He tried hard not to look at her body... he was probably just tripping on something that maybe someone joked on him. "But uh.... you're welcome...."

The fox chuckled then, her voice light and airy and beautiful. "You can not hide your scent from me. You are a Jakku. You look like one too." She frowned then, reaching up and taking the cigarette from him. "This is clouding your sense of smell, damaging it. Is that why you do not recognize one of your own?" he looked at the foriegn item, a human's item.
"That wolf might have been brash but he is right. Being with humans is risky..."

Scent? His own? He frowned as she took the cigarette from his mouth. He had no idea what she was talking about. He.... he was just different.... he was still human though...
~~~~~~~~~
"Mos~~~?" A woman called as she flipped some omelets on a pan. A little boy came out of a room and walked over to her, looking up. He hand long red hair that fell to his shoulders and green eyes peered through it. The woman looked down at him and smile. "Where's your hat??" The boy pulled it from his back and slowly pulled it over his ears. "That's better." "But mommy, can't I cut a hole in the back for my tail?" "No sweetie~" "But it hurts..." He sniffed a bit as he looked down at the ground, some tears forming at his eyes. The woman sighed softly and knelt down. "Listen Mos, you need to hid your.... 'special' features from the other kids. They'll laugh and make fun of you if they see your ears and tail. They don't know you're gifted... they won't accept you like that. You don't want them to laugh at you.... now do you?" The little boy sniffed more and rubbed his eyes. "No mommy...." The woman frowned softly and pulled the little boy close to her. "I'm sorry sweetie... but it's for your own good...."
~~~~~~~~~
Mos frowned as he shook his head and stood. He was quite a tall and slender man. His green eyes looked through the long hair and frowned. "Listen... I don't know what you're talking about. It seems like your fine so... you don't need me around anymore. Just... watch out next time ok? I'll ask my boss to get rid of these traps tomorrow." He turned and started to walk away.
He stopped then walked back to her, taking the cigarette and putting it back into his mouth.

"You are a strange one Jakku." she whispered as the cigarette was taken from her, watching him. "If you are going to live with those humans I warn you to be wary." Suddenly, as quuickly as she had been human-like, she was a fox again.
She stumbled abit, limping on her back paw. she gave the Jakku one last glance before loping towards the trees at a slow pace. For some reason though... she did not want to leave him be. She wanted to follow him and his toxic scent. He made her curious...
she would have to visit him another night.

Mos watched her she ran away. He just shook off the warning. He was a human... why should he be scared?
He sighed as he slowly marched out of he woods, grabbing his camera and headed back to the shit hole of a house. It was half run down. A fire had caught to it from being careless and didn't have the money to fix it. He had to work for the man who gave it to him as payback.. but that was just for the damage cost... not the rebuilding.
The moonlight shown through the hole in the roof as he collapsed on the bed. His boxers had a hole in them... oh yes they did... and a fluffy red tail wrapped around his bare legs, a white tip twitching slightly.
What the hell happened back there. That man and... that woman.... they looked just like him. He could.... still smell her scent in his nose. She was giving off.... Ugh. He growled at himself. Maybe... he was just tired... or maybe had too much to smoke. That had to be it.
He was the only one like this... He reached over and set his alarm clock to 8am and turned away, closing the green eyes and falling to sleep.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Panting and a howl. More patting on wet leaves and the world seemed to pass by him. A scent. Blood. Another howl and whimper. He changed coarse and ran to the scent. Another fox was laying on the ground, all bloody. The scent was known so well. The pup smelled around her before he heard another howl. The pup ran away, as fast as he could... until he felt great pain on his leg. A trap. Steel teeth slammed down, almost taking it off. Whimpering... and then a voice. A woman pulled the pup out of the trap and carried it home to aid... She named her new pet.... Mos.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Red hair fell over the counter as the man laid his head down. "Mos?"
The man's head lifted as his boss came over. "Hey there kid..." He stopped, looking at him a bit. "You ok?" He placed a few traps on the counter. "I got rid of all the traps around here... I don't know what you want 'em gone. If you get attacked by some wolf, don't blame me." He rubbed his head. "I heard a gunshot... was that you?"
Mos looked down and nodded, cigarette smoke coming from his mouth. "Yea... I thought I saw something."
"I see.... well, be careful, you'll scare the townsfolk if you just shoot for any reason." He looked out the window at the night sky. "Well, just close and go home and get some rest... you don't look so good."
Mos nodded. "Yea..." He said softly as he watched his boss leave the store.

The days of Jakku's was spent mostly in rest.
The fox that Mos had saved had safely made it to a hollow to rest out, howling only once for aid. A pack member had discovered her, and brought her back. Her pack's name was the vix clan.
She was still one of the unmated ones. She had yet to find a male suitable to her tastaes, either from her clan or another's. It was getting close to breeeding season however, and her pack leader did not want her to wait another year.
Her name was Amber - given to her by the color of her eyes. She was a lovely fox with a slight temper and a nack for getting into trouble. Her years of experience has taught her many tricks to getting those who chased her off her tail. Somehow she had still miracoulously survived these long years.
~~~
After a day of sunbathing and long rest, even she could not contain her excitement once the moon rose.
"Be careful." There leader informed. "the humans may not have past byher recently, but the Moon pack is trying to move in. find your hunt and get back as soon as it;s done."
Yips and yelps of affirmative came out from the foxes and the bobcats before the young pack took wing for the trees, searching for rabbits or birds.
Amber herself? She went towards the human;s hasbibtat. She wanted to see that male once more... She could not contain her curiosity, She was careful on her leg. the day of healing did not do much but she was able to stride without too much trouble.
~~~
Arrow charged into the forest, embaressed at last night;s failure... and the telling to he got from Shaktia as well. It made his cheeks burn just thinking about it! He had been so clsoe to an awesome catch...
No today he would find that fox. She was injured. She was his!

Smoke from the cancer stick flew around the shop as he cleaned up. He didn't feel himself today. Those dreams were weird. Suggesting that he once use to be... some sort of animal. He wasn't an animal damnit. He was a human. Maybe one of his parents had gotten freaky with a fox but that wasn't his fault.
He wouldn't know... he was adopted after all. That never got him down though... he still found trouble where ever he went.
He locked the back door and heard yips outside again. Stupid animals. He grabbed his camera. TONIGHT damnit... he would get that picture. He walked outside of the store and locked it up before heading to the town...
But he stopped as he smelt something failure. He slowly turned back, looking through the long hair at a fox sitting on the side of the shop. His eyes narrowed. It wasn't just a dream.... was it?

Amber raced the miles through the forest that she had to, taking her time when her leg hurt and then speeding when she believed she could.
It wasn;t hard to find his scent. It was the only Jakku scent for miles besides her own and the wolf that had chased her. It was easy to track it back to the stop.
She sat by the side of the shop, waiting patiently. when he came out, she yipped and he looked back at her.
She fluffed her tail before jumping onto the railing of the shop, balcing there carefully. her ears flicked and she yipped agaain, telling him to come to her.
~~~
Arrow searched gallavantely through the forest, finding the old fox scent he had chased yesterday. no smart animal would travel a path they;d be chased by twice...
By they did not alter so far you got lost. he ran around, making circles that got larged and large until he stumbled upon it. Fresh fox scent. excitement ran through him and once again he howled, chaseing it. it was many minutes old, telling him she had been hunting longer or at least been realeased. but this time he would not give up the trail.
The yip made him blinked a bit. He looked around, seeing is anyone was around... but they were all sleeping. He couldn't just stop now. The boss would want these pictures soon. He sighed though, seeming to be drawn to the yip.
Slowly, he moved across the ground, his long jacket and hair following him. The smoke from the cigarette followed along to.
He stopped in front of the fox and frowned. "What do you want?"
