He DID have to protected her... where else could she go? Until now, she was like a new born child to the world of humans. It felt like his responsibility to take care of her... seeing that she had left her world.
The old woman blinked as she looked at the dark haired fellow in the corner. "Yes Reshi... it is good for your heart." She looked at Mos, their leader and smiled. "I assure you that after this mission, you will have plenty of time to rest."
He didn't like the sound of that either. He hoped it wasn't a project that would take months... or a year.... Or maybe... it was because it had to do with ShinRa.
"Shouldn't AVALANCHE be called for this job?" Mos pointed out. "No... this isn't something that they would be interested in. You, Future Boys.... have the dirty jobs. You should know this by now." She walked to him and handed him a folder.
"The train is outside waiting for you." She turned and walked off before stopping and looking back at the three. "And don't be too bashful to be trigger happy."
Less of ShinRa was better for everyone...

The fox turned her head slightly at the word AVALANCHE, first she thought of snow falling from mountains... but then she remembered the little organization group Mos had enlighten her about. They did some of the same things they did.
Amber's ears lowered at the sound of the words trigger happy. it was one of the first she learned - because not only did Mos explain it, but he showed her as well. It was unpleasant on her ears, she wasn;t sure how the other handled it...
Reshi sighed but jumped to his feet. "Alright then lets sidle outta here." He wasn;t looking forward to it. Missions that took time were annoying and borefully tedious. It wasn;t as exciting as a quick one, the adrenline rush was less... there.

Mos jumped up too and smiled happily at Reshi. "Alright! Let's get our asses moving!" He grinned as he pulled his guns off the wall and pushed them under his long coat. He looked down at Amber and held out a hand, pulling her up.
"Amber sweetie, maybe if we make enough gil for this, I can buy you a place so you wont have to run around like a chicken with your head cut off." He knew she hated doing these missions with them.
They rushed out of the small building and into the train. When everyone was comfortable, he closed the door, bringing them into pure darkness. He carefully walked to the others and sat down with them, almost falling over himself when the train started to move. He pulled out the file and a flashlight.
Let's see what this mission was all about.
Rotten Disposal Mission #99678 Reward: Unknown
Story: A few months ago, ShinRa had been seen bringing company trains to the Manor Factory in Nibelheim. At first sight, it was unknown to what there intentions were. After some investigation, it was founded out. A horrible plan.
ShinRa is known to make countless, horrible research on living things. With some help from Scientist Hojo, ShinRa has been able ot get their hands on some very rare creatures from the forest he had been researching. They decided to take the children of this odd creature seeing that they were helpless and started to do their research on these test subjects.
These creatures have not been completely seen but from picture enhances, it seems like these creatures are half human, half animal.
Mos blinked as he read the line.... his ear went low on his head as he read more. He was just thankful that... Amber couldn't read yet....
There is also pictures of human children that seemed to have been tested. We are not sure if these children have too much Mako in them or something even more horrible.
In any case, ShinRa needed to dispose of these children once their test subjects got into a 'deadly accident'. They seem to have decided to drop off these subjects to the Manor Factory for now until they can find another to place these children.
Objection: Find where these subjects have been stored and gather as much information as possible. Pictures are needed of each subject.
Note: All subjects have been dead for months or even longer. Make sure to hold your nose.

Reshi was the first to make it into the train, taking a seat happily. Amber sauntered in next and the moment Mos closed the door and they were encased in darkness she embraced her nose and the smells around her. sight was overrated.
Reshi read over Mos' shoulder then frowned deeply. there were... more like his two friends?
What if there was a whole colony? A whole... subspecies! It seemed illogical, impossible!
What if... if his friends were real humans?
"So thats all? take pictures?" Reshi scoffed. "I;ve had more dangerous paper cuts then this mission."
Amber also looked at the papers that somehow contained vital information. she couldn;t read the majority of the words if any at all. they were all a jumble of nothingness...
she sighed, nuzzling Mos and settling against his side, shutting her eyes. "take... pictures? with that funny... flashy thingie?"
"Camera." Reshi said patiently. "And yes, thats what we will need."
"What are we... picturing?"
"Experiements."
Amber looked up, her eyes ghosty in the light of the flashlight, but Reshi understood.
"Remember when me and Mos told you about scentists?"
She nodded. "Like the one from ShinRa."
Yeah, they experiement... meaning they do tests on... things... on creatures and people." Reshi explained.
"What... kind of tests?"
"Bad ones usually..." how else could he explain it?

Mos frowned as he leaned back on the boxes, wrapping his arm around Amber's shoulder. He didn't like this mission... not one bit. It might endanger the Jakku life if too much information was pulled from these pictures...
He flipped the page to grab a roll of film and a bag...? He looked at the bag and blinked. What the hell was this for. He turned it around to see something stapled to it. A note. Worse news...
"Looks like we have to bring one back with us too..." Great... they had to lug around a dead child's body. How morbid. The smell was going to drive the two foxes insane. He was already stopped in his tracks when he first passed the room that smelt of rotting flesh.
He never turned down a mission before... but if it was going to jeopardize his race... he wasn't going to do it. People couldn't find out that he and Amber were not mutated humans...

"WHAT!" Reshi nearly screeched, "That;s... disgusting!"
Amber's ears twitched, and her ears lwoered, not understanding but from the way the two were acting it didn;t sound good. Bring what back...? A 'specimen'? what were they...?
Reshi scowled. "Why would anyone want it... to experiment on it themseleves?" he rolled his eyes. He noticed right away how uncomfortable Mos looked about the whole mission and he couldn;t help but sympatheize. It... was making the mutation he had gone through like some sort of science case... hell if it was him he'd be pretty pissed and uncertain himself.
"We don;t have to do it you know." Amber murmured. she didn;t know if that was a fact or not... but oit seemed like the right thing to say.

Mos just kept looking at the report. They had taken Jakku children away from their families to do test. Knowing ShinRa, the test were inhuman.... What is that had been one of Amber's kits if he actually didn't kill his reproductive system.
Even if he never lived the jakku life, it was still his race. How could they do this....?
Angry ran through his eyes as he turned off the light and closed the folder, putting it away. "We'll just check it out... if it's too gross, we'll decline. We do dirty jobs... not morbid ones." He tried to sound like as if it was any other mission...

Reshi frowned, nudging the other slightly as a form of comfort. "Yeah sure."
Amber nuzzled him, not completely understanding how he could be so upset but knowing he needed comfort.
It was one thing about them Mos wouldn;t so easily forget. The two of them cared a lot and would do anything he asked no questions about it. They trusted his judgement...
Reshi shut his eyes, sighing a bit. "I'm still not looking forward to going there... no matter what."

"You just don't like the stairs you fatty." Mos frowned as he poked his friends stomach in the dark that wasn't even close to being fat. He didn't want to go... and it wasn't because of the stairs.
He smiled softly as he felt Amber nuzzle him. He leaned his head on the woman's and nuzzled her, purring softly. This was going to be a long trip.
About 2 hours later, the train stopped. Mos looked around the darkness, his ears going in every direction, trying to pick up people's movement. It would be harder to get around seeing that it was night now unlike the last time they were hear. People wouldn't be moving around as much.
He stood and walked to the door, pressing his ear on it. Nothing.

Reshi just chuckled, settling down for a nap as well. Yeah... fat.
Amber purred with him, content to just sleep for the moment,
When they arrived however, a different air settled over them. All of them grew tense and quiet, listening for sounds of people...
Mos was the one to move and check to see what he could hear. Reshi meanwhile frowning at the unfortunate circumstances. The darkness was a bad time to be doing missions...
Amber however saw no problem with the conditions. she felt safer under the light of the moon, more powerful. Arn would protect them... and if danger arose... becoming a fox for her was never difficult.
Neither of the two 'Future Boys' moved or made a sound, simply waited for Mos confirmation and instruction. the had done this so many times they knew what to do and when.

The door of the cab opened very slowly. Thankfully, Momma Lance had made sure the wheels were always greased so they wouldn't make a noise. His only eye looked out the sliver. The station was poorly lit but that was no problem for him. His ears moved to pick up sounds.
Snoring.
His eyes moved to the side, seeing a man in a chair sleeping. Who exactly hired their guards. He looked across the way where ShinRa's train had stopped but it was not there now. He moved his ears again to pick up anything else, but there was nothing. The Reynard pulled out the silencer gun and pointed it at the sleeping man.
The door opened more, slowly and carefully. A step out of the dark cab. His eye didn't leave the sleeping man but his ears tried to act like a thousand eyes, looking for anything that moved as he fulled exposed himself. Nothing. He could hear voices but it was on the other side of the station, not visible to them. They wouldn't see the three.
He pulled his other hand back and motioned that it was clear to come out. The gun never moved from pointing at the guard.

Amber heard the noise of snoring as well, and made extra sure to be light on her feet, making not a sound as she walked and got out from the train. Years of practice taught her how to be quiet while being chased or hunting, whether as her human form or fox.
Reshi didn;t have either of the two ears, but the sught of the gun put him on high alert. he knew SOMEONE was out there. he stood, also being quiet but unable to mask the light tapping his footsteps made like Amber had. It was still fairly quiet as he stood out in the moonlight.
Or... not moonlight. He looked up. it was not out tonight.
Amber glanced towards the sky briefly, her ears flopping down when she noticed the absence of Arn. that... was never a goiod sign. on the nights of no moon... she had always been extra careful, sometimes not hunring at all... because on those nights she had the worst luck.
The missing site of it now meant... meant something terrible was going to happen.

Mos frowned as he continued to walk in a stride, his eye never leaving the guard. He could feel something wrong from the feeling that Amber let off. He couldn't ask what the problem was... they had to be extremely quiet until they got inside the factory.
The sliver gun was pointed perfectly at the guards head, even when they reached the factory door. Unfortunately, they didn't grease the handle or door of the back door where Reshi and him had gone to before. The door let out a horrible sound as it was opened.
Mos's eye widened as the sound, it being twice as loud than it would be for Reshi. He gritted his teeth and quickly pushed the two into the building as he saw the guard awake and look in their direction. He quickly fell though, blood running down towards the tracks as Mos slammed the door behind him, squishing against his friends.

Amber cringed at the horrible sound the door made, barely able to make a sound before she was shoved into the room, Reshi right on her heels and stepping on her foot.
She growled faintly, only to have a third squiah against her. this time of course being Mos.
"that was exciting." Reshi whispered with a faint grin, his heart beating fast and furiously. So he liked a rush big deal.

Mos was face to face with Reshi. If they were any closer, he'd be giving his partner a sweet kiss. "What are you? An adrenalin whore?" He blinked as he side-stepped off everyone's feet. He knew his friend loved a rush but jeez. He slowly walked up the first flight of stairs, looking up as he walked. He grinned as he could see old signs of the brain matter from before.
He knelt down as he perked his ears to listen to who might be in the hallway. Whistling. Obviously they got a bit smart by motoring the hallways. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small mirror and placed it near the floor. He looked in the reflection to see a guard at the end of the hallway and some newly installed cameras.
Reshi could take care of them as he took care of the tone deaf one.
