Sora's dad stopped writing and blinked. He put the pen down then looked over at his only child. "Moving?" He frowned a bit as he looked at his wife. "Is there something wrong about living here??"
Sora was now 18... and most kids wanted to move out... but...
"The island is dangerous during the storm season. Didn't you hear Mr. Maxin's announcement? No one is allowed to live there except for Riku. I don't know if you have to talk to him about that or not."
He looked down and shook his head. "I'd rather you move somewhere on the mainland...."

Axel frowned and rubbed the back of his head. Oh... he hated that question. Damnit. He knew he was going to regret saying this...
"Anything"

[Reno]

"Sora," His mother stated in a warning tone and Sora knew he was about to get a diffierent lexture if he didn;t stop her. After all, his MOM knew about it. Just not his dad.
"I know it;s dangerous but..." Sora frowned. "But you know safety in numbers? I mean Ri's been fine so far and i mean i like it there!"
"And what about your schooling? college?"
"I'll uh... i'll figure that out." Sora said tentatively.
"No, you won;t because Riku;s going to distract you. He doesn;t go, so you'll probaby think 'why should i?' and i will not have my child become a dropout." Sora's mom argued. "That boy is a bad influence on you."
Sora;s cheeks colored, whether from anger or embaressment it wasn;t easy to tell. a bad influence? "But... Ri's not like that..."


Roxas grinned evilly. "Oh, i love that answeer." He left the window, only to appear at the door, moment later. he walked outside and unchained Axel. "Anything hmmm."

Sora's dad blinked as he watched his wife.
"Honey..." He put his hand on his wife's to calm her down. Riku was a pretty tough kid, he had seen him maybe once or twice on the mainland before. He was sure he could take care of his son... but college was important.
"How about.... we let you live off with Riku... but you have to go to college and we want full reports."

Axel swallowed a bit, nodding.

[Reno]

Sora's mom frowned a bit, glancing at her husband then sighed, leaning back a bit.
Sora blinked but then nodded enthusiastically. "Yeah! i can do that."
"You promise?"
"Definitely!" Sora said eagerly.


Roxas grinned. "good." he grabbed Axel by the hand and lfited him up. "Come along slave."

Sora's father wasn't all to happy about it either. He hadn't seen his son very often since what had happened to the island. "Also... do you think you can drop by a bit more often? We hardly know much about our own son anymore." He looked up at the boy and smiled. "Let us know if you need any help moving..."

Axel waved to the Moomba who seemed a bit confused. He wondered if being a slave was worth the food.
"Heh... guess your brother never showed up huh??"

[Reno]

Sora blinked then smiled sheepishly. "Yeah dad i promise i'll visit more." He had been spending an awful lot of time with Riku... and it made him feel kind of guilty. Hell, keeping the secret from his father made him feel guilty.
He stood then, walking over to his parents and gave them both a hug. "Thank you."
Sora;s mother sighed but ruffled his hair. "don;t get into any trouble."
"I won;t!"

Roxas frowned, then opouted. "No he didn;t i wonder why not."

His father hugged him back and sighed, going back to his papers. He really did hope Sora knew what he was doing.

Riku added another bag to his collection. He had spent a lot of munny with new things for the house... but unlike Sora, he had been saving all these years. He didn't bother with upgrades and didn't need items like potions. So... he had quite a lot of munny.
He walked passed Sora's house and looked up at his window.

Axel grinned. Now Roxas was distracted... maybe he could steal a bite to eat...

[Reno]

"I'll be back soon!" Sora announced then and hurried from the door.
"Sora, wait." his mother said, leaving the couch.
The two stopped outside and his mother shut the door so her husband couldn;t hear. "Sora..."
The brunette scuffled his feet, a bit worried. "Yeah mom?"
she looked past the brunette suddenly, and saw the silver-haired male. "Hello Riku."
Sora turned and grinned suddenly. "Riku!" But he;s eyes were saying 'Save me'

Roxas gave Axel a look. he knew that smile. "Don;t try it."

His father looked up and blinked as she ran out after him. He shook his head and just continued writing.

Riku blinked at the welcome and smiled as he looked over their way. The bags rustled as he walked over to the front door where they were standing. He looked at Sora's mom and smiled.
"Hello Bryna." He said softly, making sure he had quite good manors. He knew she was wherry about him because he was too untamed even as a child.

Axel flinched as he stopped himself.

[Reno]

Bryna nodded towards the boy, then looked between him and her son.
Sora schfufled closer to Riku, a bit fearfully.
"I'm concerned about this little... arrangement you two have made." Bryna said.

Roxas smirked. "Good boy." he pat Axel on the head.

Riku looked down at her. Yea... he was taller than she was. he just gave her a soft smile, making sure his ocean eyes were bright. Then again... how couldn't they. It was quite a contrast to his long, silver hair.
He brushed his hair back behind his ringed up ears. "Don't worry. I'll take good care of him." He reached over slowly and wrapped his pinky around Sora's.

Axel pouted more as he heard his thing waist start to growl.

[Reno]

Sora smiled faintly, glancing at Riku.
Bryna looked from one boy to the next then sighed. Well what could she do? Sora was old enough to make his own decisions... no matter how worried she was about this. considering her son's... orientation it was more like the two were... married. "Ypu better Riku, or I'm not going to be a very happy mother." She warned.
"Mooom." Sora whined. "I'll be fine."
She frowned a bit, then sighed again. "I know... i just worry."

Roxas laughed. "Hungry?"

Riku blinked at the warning but smiled. He'd had more frightening warning than that. "I promise. He'll be fine with me. The storms aren't so bad because I live on higher ground. If anything happens to your baby, I'll make sure you'll know right away."
The island wasn't that far... but he guess he could understand her worry. And as for marriage, they might has well have been. sharing Paupo fruit and his soul... he didn't know how much closer he could get.

Axel nodded as he gave Roxas puppy eyes.

[Reno]

Sora blushed bright red.
Sora;s mother nodded. "Good." she smiled then. "Okay then, take care you too. and remember Sora, you're still going to college!"
"Eep! i know mother!"

"Ok, you can eat." Roxas said.

Riku looked down at Sora and smiled slightly. So his mom was forcing him to go to college. Poor kid. He pulled Sora along and waved to Sora's mother. As they walked away, he looked back at Sora. "So.... You didn't pick anything up from your room??"

Axel smiled happily as he dug into the food. Wow, and he didn't even have to do anything crazy!
