It went off without a hitch. Gradd was throughally questioned and investigated. Even a few got close enough to make sure his eyes weren;t suspicious. The king graciously gave him food to eat - everyone watched carefully though, making sure he wasn;t a barbarian....
But he was watched most... by a young lady staring from the window... and while he talked she listened to his voice, while he walked she trailed after his footsteps, and while he smiled her heart melted and her lust grew.
Zelda was no fool. she knew lust when it happened to her. She also knew the look of warning when she saw it. That other lady, the one with the orange eyes (eyes that could have easily made her father flail back and refuse to allow Gradd in - had she not the luck of being cast aside for this meeting) was certainly ready to kill her. She knew - she knew what Zelda's feelings were like any other possessive woman would. All woman after all had to seduce their men into... well the bed. maybe love if that was a true thing but these times were not romantic.
But she would get him. she was beautiful and cunning.
she WOULD have him for her own.

He was in the halls, walking alone - a rare occasion but not impossible. gthe castle was large and people were elsewhere... maybe even going to bed.
And she was following him. Her dainty feet made little noise but she knew he could hear her. his ears were sharp like a demons and eventually he would turn to face her.
but when he did... she would be ready.

" Are you going too follow me forever? Or introduce yourself?" he asked suddenly coming too a stop as he turned looking back at the young woman, he gave a faint smile in her direction " Princess... Zelda... you have been watching me from afar for quite some time... makes one curious as too why? I assure you my lady... I am no threat too your people if you have suspicions of me..."
He bowed slightly in respect too her then lifted his head his red eyes staring into her own.

The princess, stopped short, a smile gracing her own lips. "do not read me wrong, i have no distrust of you. I believe your intentions are good..." she paused, before walking closer to him, easily swallowing up the distance between them. would he back away?

He stared into her eyes momentarily " my lady..." he grimaced suddenly he reached too touch her shoulder but pulled back instantly something had... "Stay away from her!" a vision flashed she was there... and... then death... siege... that name... who...? " Death... Siege..." he backed up suddenly
