Riku stared blankly for a moment " Kairi's..." he paniked his heart skipping a beat... then suddenly turned and started running " Kairi!!!!"

why was this happening? to him? to them? what had he done to deserve this? why had he let her... god it was his fault...
son son go see your son... the back of his mind was saying. and thats all he could do. he was numb with shock and depression. he stood slowly and continued to go to the nursery.

One week later Riku was sitting at the edge of the roof of his home just staring downwards... Kairi's death had hit him alot worse than he had thought it would... he just couldnt believe it... she was gone... he trembled holding himself shaking, hed barley eaten.. spoken... or moved at all since that day. He hadnt even bothered to go see Sora...

Iris crawled onto the roof and sighed a bit. she was the one doing all the running around. Kairi;s death.... had disturbed her, pained her. kairi was her best friend and death was new to her. at the same time she knew it happened, unexpectly sometimes, and accepted it. she knew where kairi was now.
however, her husband had hardly moved, Sora was going through a broken routine at home, neither were going to work. they were nearing another breaking point, one much worse then the first. she could only do so much, she took care of kouji, checking up often on Sora and Yolei and his new son, named Takuya (and she knew that was the name Kairi had wanted if it was to be a boy).
she understood their saddness, at the same time she didn;t. they grew up with this girl, loved her in ways similar yet not. and death hurt. seperation hurt. she could only be there for them. someone had to stay stable. eventually it would catch up with her too...
she walked over to Riku, sitting down next to him.

Riku noticed her but didnt even bother to glance in her direction, he just... felt hurt all over...

she felt really selfish for his lack of attention, but then reached over, and suddenly hugged him tight. "honey open up to me please. don;t cage your pain show me..."
