"come on Kairi." He urged her. he was scared though. the last three monthes went fine, but now... this was the big one. labor... they were in a hospital, she was holding his hand in a bone-crushing grip, and the doctor urging her to push.

Iris tapped her foot on the floor nervously. she and Riku of course had to wait in the waiting room, with Kouji and Yolei. when the process was over they were going to know just how it went. boy or girl... she was really curious. she hoped Kairi would be alright.

Kairi had tears rushing down her eyes the pain... her heart was racing she screamed as loud as she could feeling her skin tear, her breathing was rapid and her heart rate had started to increase alot greater than it should have been. " Get out of me!" she shouted pushing as hard as she could

Riku sighed staring down then looked at the door again... how badly he wanted to go in there... kairi and sora where his best friends... they where like family to him... damnit...

Sora could hear orders going all around the room, he wasn;t sure he understood it all. 'blood pressure rising' and 'heart rate too fast' and 'losing too much blood' such stuff. it was scaring him. "Kairi... you can do it..." please god...

Kairi continued to tremble tightening her grip around Sora's hand but... eventually that grip began to loosen... and her vision started to get blurry...

The baby had come out... it was crying but... kairi's body went limp and everything in her mind had suddenly gone blank... shed lost too much blood...

"Kairi!" the next few moments were a blur. there was yelling and Sora suddenly found himself thrown out into the hallway. he screamed for them to let him back in. then there he was shaking in the middle of a hallway, waiting in pure terror. kairi, their child what had happened?!

Riku looked up he could see Sora... something had gone wrong! He got up emediatley running in the direction of his friend " Sora!"

Iris stood but then she looked over at Yolei and Kouji. she couldn;t leave.
Sora banged on the door one final time slipping to his knees and just stared blankly at it. this wasnl;t happening.
