Days turned into weeks... weeks into months... and months into years... Raichu had visited Ayane often as possible but the two had never actually settled down and gotten married. Hed always tell her stories of everything that hed done and his goals and everything he wanted to do in life... and she would likewise do the same. But one day... Raichu just stopped coming... two whole months had passed and there was no sign of him, no letters no phone calls... nothing that could show that he was even still alive...

Ayane came home once again from a harrying miassion, checked her mail box, sighed, then walked inside her house, checking her phone messenger, then sighed again, disappointed. nothing... nothing at all.

The newspaper had suddenly hit the ground of her doorstep the title clearly reading "Prized Fighter Found Dead After World Tournament."

Ayane walked out her door, only to nearly trip over the newspaper. she looked down at it, then snatched it up as the headline caught her eye. she read the first few lines and her eyes widened in horror.
