Adan was watching their clasped hands then he reached up, tracing her fingers idly.

He shook his head. "i... well... it wasn;t exactly that sudden i mean... i knew what i was doing was wrong and... this isn;t the person i was meant to be thats why."

He nuzzled her hand then leaned up kissing her forehead. "all i can say to you is this: i will try my hardest."
And for the few years, things were very difficult. Adan, the poor boy, had to go through much therapy and relearning of standards and morales, not to mention he learned of his true family history and most importantly his mother. He still had relapses, even now though. short bursts of anger, violent tendencies, but the good news was he never took them out on any person ever again, though times when he was missing for a few days got to be common.
he, amazingly, turned out to be a decent father, though somewhat strict and Rachel had to teach him alot of ther things he never knew. like how it was ok to accidently spill something and sneak into their bedroom at bed time. unlike Phillip, who tolerated nothing of the sort.
Even still, Adan;s life became a central turning point. Becasuse of the need for Raichu and Ryten to give him some specialized attention at times, the two got along better. Although Ryten still hated Raichu, Adan would tell you, he was sure Ryten didn;t hate dad so much anymore.
As for Rachel... she became a very happy married woman with six kids and a bad back, but tranquil all the same. so things had not turned out bad, not at all.
