"Rik..." Sora frowned. then came to a decision, "here then. take this as a token of apology!" he sat down, gingerly taking off his necklace, and slid it under the door. it slid across the tile floor. of the bathroom. "It's a happy charm!" he nodded then stood and walked out of the room, shutting the door slowly.
He fingered his neck, feeling naked without the familar weight of the chain there. it was a very precious thing to him. although, he never told Riku why he always wore the 'girly' thing. he had just told the other it was improtant to him.
but Riku was more improtant to him.
he hurried down the stairs, feeling a little nervous now. he had to go.

Riku sighed as he looked at that crown necklace of Sora's. He didn't want this thing....he just wanted to be left alone. His was getting testy of this island and just wanted to get off it so bad....he didn't know that this island was the only thing......on this world. This island.....was a world....and the only way to get off it, was to fall for the darkness.
After the party he sat at the window and looked out, drinking down the small cake he had. His mother cleaned up and looked at him. She knew he had things on his mind so she didn't bug him too much. "It's your bedtime...." She said softly and walked up to her room.
He sighed, not to sure why a 16 year old needed a bedtime....but there was nothing else to do on this stupid island besides going to bed. He sighed again and walked to his room, looking out the window again.
Once he found that he was restless, he opened the window and climbed out. He ran towards the small hill and climbed up, sitting at the tree that him and his two friend would sit before going back home everyday. All three would look out at the sunset and talk about what lied over the horizon. He climbed on the tree and looked out at the stars.[/i]

"Of course I want to leave....this is why I'm always angry. I have no future here. All I can do for the rest of my life is get food and build houses for new people who come to the island.....but where are they from? ANd why do they come here without any memory? There's something weird about this place.....and I guess I'm the only one who sees these things." He reached into his pocket and threw him back his necklace.
"I don't want this. I know you're sorry, but I guess I'm the one that should say I'm sorry. The necklace looks nicer on you anyway...."[/i]

Sora caught it and smiled. "somehow i knew you'd give it back." he placed it around his neck then hopped onto the tree next to Riku. "listen, i know you wanna go. i do too. but... you shouldn;t forget who you are or who your friends are in the process, k? i heard somewhere if you let you're ambitions and work get ahead of you, you'll forget what's really important."

Riku looked at him and smiled, the cold night wind blowing his hair into his face a bit. "Yea....you're right.....you're always right Sora" He mocked Kairi playfully and shook his head, blinking as he heard some thunder off in the distance.[/i]

Sora followed suit. "Riku..." he frowned and then hurried upo behind his friend, wrapping his arms around him in a quick hug.

Riku blinked and frowned, pushing him away. "What are you doing? Stop th--" His eyes widened as he saw a flash of lightning hit a tree near by. "WATCH OUT!" He yelled as he pushed sora away.[/i]

Sora yelped. he felt himself fall to the ground. light blared in his eyes then everything was dark and all he could hear was a horrible noise. thunder...? "Riku?!"

"SORA! SORA!" A voice was calling through the darkness...
"Sora! SORA!" Riku shook his sleeping friend as he heard his cries.
