"RIKU! They're EVERYWHERE!!"
MOre and more bright eyes peered down at them, like a pack of wolves. But the man just looked back at them. He wore the clothes of the Shadows....would they attack? Or would they fall for it? They were bigger, much bigger. Indead of being waist height, they must of been as tall as his shoulders.
It took them awhile to analyze the two down below, of couse Riku could of been a Shadow, but not even they were stupid enough to know that no Shadow was as short as the mouse. So....they attacked.

Sora was stilled dazed as Goofy helped him to his feet. "wha happened?"
"the heartless!" Donald announced loduly.
"the wha?" Sora blinked rapidly, looking around and then took a step back. heartless... everywhere...
he blinked. heartless meant munny. munny meant another day at the inn. the inn meant a warm shower and a nice warm bed and hot food...
Sora grinned wickedly. "lets get em!!"

Unfortunityly, the sight of the heartless didn't make Riku think of munny, but the beginning of something more bigger; the hope of going home. The worlds now must of been connected again....this means.....Kairi.....
With a quick slash at the first Heartless that attacked, the other stopped for a moment. Would their masters kill one because of betrail....or because he wasn't a master at all? They weren't sure, but they decided he wasn't since he did not speak.
More and more attacked and the two 'Shadows' fought back.

Sora could hear donald and goofy, casting spells and making taunts. they worked well as a team. While sora practically chopped everything to bits, donald would cast defensive magic and offensive when necessary while goofy take down the ones Sora missed.
the heartless seemed stronger... but so were they.

They seemed to be taking down the best they could, but now that the dragon types were coming, things started to get a bit harder....They could manage it....until 'they' were no longer 'they'.
A flash of light came from seemed to be no were and more heartless started to come at Riuk....not because more were made....but because he was now alone.
"MICKEY!?" Riku looked around quickly as the mouse was no where to be found. There was no way he could handle all of these heartless alone....
"OH!" The king blinked as he turned around and there he was, somewhere else. He could hear the sound of Donald and goofy close by. Running to the sounds, the king soon started to help the three.

There was a pause, then his animal-like partners cried "king mickey?!"
Sora nearly fell over again. "w-what?!" he glanced back and sure enough... a mouse... the king!

"Why hello there fellas!" The king waved and continued to fight off the heartless with his friends. Indeed, they had found the king, or more like the king had found them...
But they were still missing Riku...

Sora blinekd feeling a little confused but he didn;t have time to ponder it all. he attacked another heartless, crying out, "where;sa riku?!"

The king leaned against the now older boy and cried out. "He was by my side just a second ago! I don't know what happened!" He slashed down at another heartless as it tried to attack sora.

Sora scowled. "damn." riku... where are you?! he slashed at another heartless, and another. all he could think about though was... was riku.

When all was well and just rain was falling again, the four found themselves a nice place to stay with all the munny they earned.
The king sighed and shook his head as he sat on the bed. He too was now very worried about Riku....

Sora sighed. his clothes were ruined, he was cold, and depressed. they had looked but... riku was not in the town and they had to go inside before they all got sick...
riku could be out there somewhere... in the rain hurt....
Sora bowed his head, shaking it then stood, stalking for the door.he had to still keep looking!

"Sora" the king looked up at him and waved him back. "We've looked everywhere. There's no other places he could be." He said sadly. He was quite sure what had happened to him, though he would keep that part quiet from the others.
He looked at his old friends and smiled. "Come on fellas, no frowns."

"Well, there is always tomorrow...." The king said softly. "Maybe this rain will go away and we can see better. Maybe see where he could of gone." He patted the boy on the shoulder.
