The food was perfect. He hadn't had a meal like that......for years. He smiled as his stomach soom became full after awhile. He leaned back and thanked the cheif.

Sora was still happily eating; the sparkle in his eyes apparnet. there was nothing like a good meal to perk him up!

Riku slowly moved his head and watched his friend eat like a kid. he chuckled a bit and took a grape, pressing it up against the other's lips.

ASora blinked pausing for a second before flicking out his tongue, stealing the grape from his friend;s fingers.

"Pfffft......ok....whatever mom." He stood up and walked to the window, looking out and putting his hands behind his back...as if he was a prince looking over his soon to be kingdom.

He laughed and shook his head. "I can't help it mom, that Sora kid is pretty dirty to play with." He said and stood on his toes a bit

Sora grinned. "Dirty eh? well just be careful my little buttercup. say has kairi fallen head over heels for one of you two yet? with the way things are going the future looks closer to you and that ruffian shacking up instead."

He smiled and looked down. Kairi.....he wished that he didn't bring it up. "I doubt it.... I'm not as nice as Sora..... She's better off with him. Plus, he saved her life....something that I couldn't do...."

Sora looked upwards, unsure if this was a game anymore. "don;t be so pessimistic my son. you have better looks then him. and you gave away a lot just to protect her. she;d be a fool to not give you a chance..."

"I gave up a lot of thing because I was a stupid little boy....and I dragged everyone else into it....I tried to protect her from the stupid fault that I made...." He looked down and started walking back to the room

Sora jumped over the table, grabbing Riku;s shoulders and turning him around so that they were facing one another. "you're not stupid Riku! it was a mistake when are you going to learn to forgive yourself?! they lied to you and... i didn;t much help when i probably should of done more..." Sora looked away guiltily, then looked back. "from you're view it looked like i was betraying you... huh? that;s what that stupid witch told you... isn;t it? i didn;t give you much reason not to believe her. and kairi... you protected her... and you gave up your freedom to do it. it;s not your fault Riku no one is blaming you!"

Riku pushed the boy away. "Don't try to cheer me up. I was a stupid boy.... and it was me who was betraying you. I helped them try to stop you....I battled you so many times.... " he sighed and turned away, walking again. "Friends don't try to hurt each other..."
