" Im not a child!" he shouted then slammed Rufus body into the wall as he began to crush his neck " die... jsut die!"
Tifa ran over wrapping her arms around his body " Joshua... stop it... please..." she shut her eyes resting her head against his metalic back. " For me..."
"Tifa... I..." he frowned giving in and suddenly let go dropping Rufus body down to the ground " I love you...."

Rufus laid there on the ground, coughing, trying to regain his breath. his eye looked up at Tifa and he frowned.

Josh shut his eyes as his sword fell down to the ground, he leaned back into her touch " I dont want to hurt anyone... I just want you..."
Tifa shut her eyes dropping down with him and started to brush his hair with her hand " Its ok... im here for you... Joshie..." thats all he was... like a child with a bad temper...

Rufus sighed staring down at the ground. it looks like he lost anyways no matter how much effort he had put in it all came down to naught.

Tifa frowned looking up at Rufus " I cant leave him Rufus... I told you... I am the only thing that prevents him from going crazy... hes like a little kid..."
" I am not a child..." Josh said looking up at her with a frown on his face.

Josh frowned wrapping his arms around her then suddenly stood holding her in his arms " If you ever... come within a thousand yards of her... consider yourself dead..."
" J... Josh..?" Tifa stared down at him then at Rufus... " I love you..." she mouthed to him then looked away.

Rufus' eyes widened. tifa... he looked away, a hidden smile on his face. he stood straight, brushing himself off.

Before anything else could be done Josh burst into flames and disapeared apearing outside the shinra building setting her down " I missed you..." he said staring down at her with a frown on his face " He didnt hurt you did he?"
She sighed looking away from him'' Rufus is a good person... he wouldnt hurt me..."

Rufus let himself smile freely this time, looking down the hallway.
Dark nation slithered to his side, rubbing his legs and Siaki ran over hugging him. Rufus chuckled. in a way... he lost... and yet he won.

A few weeks later, Tifa wistfully stared at the ring on her finger. luckily, josh didn;t know what it meant so she never had the need to take it off. she hated to admit it... but she... missed Rufus...

" You ok?" a purple haired woman walked into the room staring over at Tifa " Raichu and I are happy to have you here as our guest Tifa... but that guy... hes kinda rude you know? Howd you go from being married to the richest guy on the planet to... well... that?" Ayane glanced back again making sure nobody else was around.
