Josh sighed leaning up against a tree near the cave... they had come to a stop for camp... It was more than obvious Barret didnt trust him... Tifa... she was treating him like a child, hell she even checked on him at night before he went to sleep. This wasnt what he pictured when he thought he would find her... as much as he didnt like being treated like a child... he loved the attention from her...

Josh sighed glancing over towards the tents staring over at the one Tifa and Aeris had been sleeping in every night... There where only two... one for Tifa and Aeris and the other was For Barret and Red... and the strange thing was when ever Tifa was around his penis would... well it would start to hurt! He never asked anyone about it because he was scared...hell even embarresed!

Sephiroth looked down near the swamp. "i remeber that." after all he was the general, he had to see all the possible newcomers and say accordingly to who had a chance to join the higher levels, SOLDIER. "he was clumsy and nervous." yet as luck would have it Cloud had eventually reached SOLDIER, and was nearly about to enter the ranks of First Class.

Rufus stood, glaring at him, "i believe that Sephiroth can do a fine job. remeber heidgger that i am in charge. my father is dead and i can do what i wish." Dark nation growled at heidgger. "including feeding you to my pet."

There was a loud crash of noise. Aeris and Tifa were heard screaming.

Josh paniked getting up as he saw a giant snake rushing in their direction. He growled reaching both hands in his coat crossing his arms pulling out two pistols and charged towards the creature jumping into the air as he started firing " Tifa!!!" he trembled staring trying to get the beasts attention as he continued shooting at it " Leave her alone!"
Not too far away Barret was near them... he could take this chance to take out Josh...

Sephiroth glanced at Zack, but something caught his eye. he looked foreward, seeing a large snake in the distance. "a zolom..."

Rufus scowled, reaching into his trenchcoat, whipping out his shotgun. he aimed then shot.

The snake hoissed and its head shot downwards, knocking josh away and into a wall.

Zack stared ahead... " That things pretty big... but im sure the great sephiroth would have no problem with it at all" he said laughing nudging his friend on the side " I mean unless your wet muddy hair has made you so weak you cant even move."

Heidgarn looked back and smirked hitting a button on one of the prototype shields Hojo had built for him as it created a barrier of energy stopping the rounds in there tracks " Im sorry about that."

Josh winced slamming up against the wall letting out a loud cry, he shut his eyes looking up firing... but he had run out of bullets... he quickly slid his guns back into his coat drawing his sword getting ready to strike. Quickly he got back up then flew towards the creature but before he could slash he dropped down to the ground feeling something pierce into his side... it was a bullet... He let out a loud scream as his body slammed down into the ground.
Barret stood not too far away pointing his arm... " That one was for Biggs and Wedge..."

Rufus stared and he scowled.

"Barret!" Tifa cried indignatly.
"we have bigger problems." Red hissed. "then revenge." the snake hissed again, turning on Tifa and it;s head shot down. Tifa screamed.
There was a flash of silver and yellow and suddenly the snake sort up with a hiss, blood gushing from its neck. In front of Tifa, stood Cloud, his buster sword bloody.

Josh winced laying on the ground blood draining from his side... " Tifa..." who was this guy...
Barret grumbled walking over " I don care who this guy is..." he ran over to Josh placing his foot down on his neck holding him there " Im gonna blow your fucking brains out!!"
Zack paniked running over as he saw the group, what was going on... how did Cloud kill that so easily... he wasnt stronger than him or Sephiroth...

Barret frowned staring at her then fired shooting him in the soldier, he grumbled kicking his side as hard as he could " Ill kill you another time..."
Josh let out a loud scream feeling the other bullet go through his shoulder... hed never been hurt like that before... sure the many times in the electric torture chamber with Hojo... but nobody had ever... shot him.... he growled rolling over onto his stomache feeling all the blood draining out... " Tifa..." slowly he glanced over at the blonde haired individual... Cloud strife...?
Zack came to a stop as he looked over "Cloud is that realy you!?"

Aeris glared and kneeled down next to Josh. she rasied her hands and began to heal him.
"-c...cloud?" Tifa whispered, her eyes wide.
"i never forgot the promise." Cloud saiud, smiring. he glanced over at Zack, a smug look on his face.
Sephiroth's eyes narrowed. something was wrong with this picture...

Zack suddenly glanced over staring at Josh " Gast... this is the girl you keep seeing?" It was Tifa... the girl that he had made fun of cloud all the time about... joking around about her being his girlfriend. If that was really the case... that wasnt good...

Zack stared for a moment walking up to his younger friend then suddenly caught glance " Aeris!!" he shouted emediatly running over in her direction " why did you run off like that!?"
