He nodded slightly then suddenly turned and started to walk off " Ill start my way to Kalm... I am going to find her..." he smiled slightly heading down the hall.

It was a few days later... Josh came to a stop standing directly infront of the small town of Kalm. It was a long trip... walking all the way from Midgard to here... He just hoped that he wasnt too late. He felt scared though... it would be the first time he would actually interact with people he didnt know... the only memories that he had where those he spent thinking he was a weapon. Thats all youll ever be... a weapon... your not even human you dont have a soul, your job is to kill in the name of Shinra Hojo's voice rang through his head as a cold shiver went down his spine. " I am human..."

"what specimens have gone missing?"
"Jenova and the dog creature Red XIII are no where to be seen. also there is news that Aeris has left her home and is traveling with avalanche."

Aeris smiled, brushing her hands through her hair. it had been rather odd running into these people.these people, called avalanche, had come across her just after the sector had blown. her mother had agreed to watch marlene while they traveled out of town so they could escape until things blew over. who knew what shinra would do? she went with them, against her better judgement. she felt she could trust and help these people somehow.

" Rufus Cloud is missing too" Zack said standing behind his friend with a frown on his face " Hes been gone since Gast murdered everyone... im starting to think..."

Josh nodded to himself and just started walking " My... my names Joshua Gast... its nice to meet you..." he growled shaking his head " No that wont work! Damnit Ive been thinking this over for the past two days!"

Rufus frowned. "i know. Strife's smart though Zack. we found no body of him so he is alive... we've even checked security tapes, but the majority were destroyied when josh attacked." he shut his eyes and sighed. "i;ve got the turks monitering avalanche right now. so if you'd like Zack you and a few others can go out looking for him?"

He came to a stop looking around the town... it was a quiet place... alot different from most of the places Shinra had sent him to assassinate people...

"aeris is resourceful. she;s a healer right?" Siaki said from the other end of the room, petting dark nation. "although i don;t understand why she;d be with avalanche of all people."
"well marlene's with aeris' mom right? maybe avalanche are holding her hostage to force the mom to take care of the girl?"Rina said.
"doutful. Aeris would have gotten away by now then." Tseng said, who had been standing in front of rufus' desk the whole time.

Josh came to a stop staring off in the direction of the local inn... a very distinct girl... something flashed through his mind a woman with wearing a pink dress... long brown hair... he trembled staring at her and suddenly started to back away.
