Naya had a solemn expression on her face as she led Ryu to the Royal Complex. All of the guards were in their black funeral clothing. That meant only one thing. Her father must be dead. She walked slowly and up the steep ramp up to the great wooden doors. "Lady Naya, you shouldnt be here! It may still be dangerous!" The guard said to her... she said nothing but attempted to open the doors pitifully The guards opened the doors and once inside, she saw it. Two men, both in the cerimonal burrial clothes of the Demon Royals, and a woman in between them sobbing. "Mother!" She screamed, and Naya ran to her side. "Mother, who did this?!" Her mother looked at her though blood shot eyes. "A man with a gun. A Human."

Ryu looked around as everyone was looking at him. A deman approached him and took out a knife. " I'm not here to cause any trouble. " The demon didn't care and threw the dagger. Ryu caught it mid air and thre it back stabbing the demon in the juggular. At this point Ryu was surrounded. He wielded his sword and prepaired for the worst.

Naya now had to realize a painful truth. With her father and brother dead, She was to inherit the Kindom. She didnt know if she could handle it... it was just too hard to accept. "Lady Naya... You know what is to become of you" A priest said to her. "You are our queen." The priest placed a amulet in her hand and then looked up when a loud ruckus was to be heard in a dark corner of the room. She heard the comotion. She left her mother and went over to where ryu was being confronted by guards. "Stand down Guards! He is a guest!" They didnt listen to him. "STAND DOWN! Listen or forefiet you lives." Their weapons hit the floor in a loud clang.

Ahh, you ruin all the fun, I could have taken them. Well the know how to follow order, don't they ? Ryu walked towards Naya and glanced at on of the guards as he walked bye. He noticed an older looking one and looked into his eye's. " You look familier. " He kept walking and stood next to Naya. " I'm sorry, I know what your going threw. "

"Yeha...you must know how it feels. To loose your family like this." She said taking comfort in his presence. "My mother said it was a bounty hunter... what could that mean?!"

She grabbed his hand and led him up the stairs to the upper most room in the castle. It was a foom full of windows where the sunlight poured in and waterfalls were within view. "This is my quarters, No one can watch you here."

" Wow, this room is quite nice. So what do you do around here? You must have something to keep you occupied. " Ryu looked at Naya and watchedas she looked back at him.

"There's nothing much to do around here. You can rest for a while i suppose. I've got to meet Lord Iruyu to prepare prepare for my coronation. Would you like to come to it?!"

"The meeting is in an hour or so, but, the coronation is not utill sunset." She said, walking over to her closet to find a dress to change into for her meeting. "Please come to my coronation. I promise that no one attacks you."

Ryu walked over to where Naya was and put his hand on her back. " That dress your holding will do fine. I'll come to the corenation, but I'll stay here while you go to the meeting. " He looked at her and then went to lie down.

"Thankyou. It means alot." She smiled at him and walked behind her changing curtain to get out of her travelling clothes. She stepped out from behind the curtain to present herself to him. "How do i look?!"

"Not all demons are bad you know." She said taking a little offence to his comment. There was a knock at the door and Naya went to awnser it. "Leni!" "Lady Naya, good to see you." He said. "Lord Iryu requests your presence for pre coronation affairs." He said stiffly. "Yes, i know. This is a friend of mine. He is to attend my Coronation, would you have him fitted for a suit please?" "Yes ma'am." He said. "But do you really think it wise to keep him here. He is a Human after all." He said quietly. "I trust him." Naya looked back at ryu. "I'll see you in an hour or too."
