"Hmm....it slipped by me..." He watched as Diana hugged her father.
Aya watched and smiled slightly. "Are you guys staying now? Is everything done?"
Vincent sighed. "No...we just started..."
aya sighed as he wipped his tears away.
Vincent turned to Rina. "Where is Eve?"

Vincent blinked. "A kid?" He looked down and placed Aya to the floor slowly. "Was it....a demon?"

Vincent looked down and sighed. He pulled his cape closer and headed up the stairs. Aya wanted to follow but...something told him to stay where he was.
Vincent walked to an unopened door and opened it slightly, enough to see what was inside. He could see Eve sleeping in her bed with the baby no too far away.
He walked in slowly, not to wake either. he closed the door and slowly walked towards the baby. Looking at it, he could see the black nails and the small black feathered wings. He sighed as he reliezed...what had happened.

Rina's brow twitched, shaking her head. What was he doing.
Eve shifted, feeling a presence in her room, and her eyes snapped open.

Aya ran to Reno, pushing through the hug. "Did you take care of my grandpa mister?"
Vincent looked back and saw that Eve's eyes were on him. "Morning Eve..."

Reno laughed, "i don;t really need to. he's the one taking care of me."
Eve sat up, "Vincent? What are you doing here... and in MY room?!"

Aya smiled britely. "Really!?" He jumped up and down for a moment and laughed. He's grandpa really was great!
Vincent narrowed his eyes. "Shh..." He walked up to her bed and sat down. "There's something you need to know..." He looked down at the floor and sighed.

Aya smiled as he looked at Diana. "Did you hear that? My grandpa's great!" He hugged her and smiled for joy.
Vincent sighed. "listen...me and reno...we went to the first lab...it was getting pretty rough in there...they had installed a self-distruct system in there and...at the heart of the lab was the research room...and..." he sighed again." "And Alexcil was in there...I guess they were trying to copy his DNA...we broke him free but...he didn't move...it was to dangerous to stay and aid him so...we had to leave him there..." He looked up at her and frowned. "the lab blew up...and there was no sign of Alexcil after that...I think....I think he was already dead...I'm sure with how powerful he was...he'd find a way to get out of there."
He took her hand gently and sighed. "Eve...if there's anything I can do...please...tell me...i blame myself for his death...I could have...stayed a minute longer....I'm so sorry."

Eve stared at him blankly. Alexcil was... dead? She frowned bowing her head, "It;s not your fault Vincent... i don;t blame you. If you had stayed and ending up dieing... Aya would be crushed..." she took a deep shuddering breath, "Maybe he did make it out... you... you never know with him... i mean i killed him once..."

"Yeah... before i died... i ran him through with my sword then putr him in the ocean. he came back and uh... we kinda got together but i died not long after."

"Interesting...so maybe...he'll come back..." He stood and sighed. "I hope whatever DNA they took from him was destroyed as well...we can't have them be making clones of him..." He looked back at her and sighed. "I justed wanted to tell you that..." He then left and walked down the stairs.
