He sighed but nodded. "Miss Diana...will you be my new mommy?" He pulled away and looked at her, smiling. "I know that grandpa has a lot to do...and he's always busy...and you're the one who takes care of me here. You're really nice...and you make me feel better. Please Miss Diana...? I'm sure grandpa won't mind if you keep me...he said I was safe here you know?"
He blinked as he heard a noise in his small backpack. He jumped out of Diana's arms and ran to the bag. He opened and pulled out a cellphone. He opened it and put it to his ear.
"Hello?"

Diana blinked in surprise. Now when did five year olds get the privilege of having cell phones?

He blinked in surprise. "GRANDPA!?"
"hey there...bet you didn't know this was in your backpack huh?"
"nope...where are you? and when are you coming back."
"I might not be coming back...for awhile....ok?"
Aya sunk down to the floor. "but grandpa..."
"That's enough, be strong ok? We found out a few things so we're getting further...can I talk to one of the women there?"
Aya sighed and ran to Diana, "my grandpa is on the phone..." He ran to the bed and hid under the covers.

Diana sighed, frowning a bit, then took the cell phone and placed it against her ear, "Hello? This is Diana."

"Diana...it's Vincent. Me and some of the Turks are in the Shinra lab...we really haven't found much except blood and a few black feather. We're trying to break the guard right now. I need you to watch Aya for me for a bit long...has he been any trouble?"

"I...I don't know. This are getting quite bad...Shinra is up to their old shit again..." Suddenly a huge explosion came from the phone and some yelling could be heard in the background.
A moment later, vincent's voice could be heard in a muffle. "Diana!? Please tell Aya I love him ok!? Keep him safe! I'm not sure if i'm going to be coming out alive...Please take care of my son!" Then all there was only static.

"Vincent?" Diana frowned then looked at the phone solemnly. she slowly shut the phone, bowing her head. She wondered if... if her dad was alright...

Vincent climbed out from under a fallen piller. He stood up slowly and waved his hand infront of him to clear the smoke. "Reno!?" He looked around the place to see if he could spot any red hair.
Aya looked over the covers and sighed. "What did he say?'

Reno groaned. He felt like he had a truck run into him. The red head tried to move and winced, finding it almost impossible. both his legs were pinned under something.
Diana smiled at Aya and laughed, "he said he loves you. He'll be back soon Aya, don;t worry."

He smiled and clapped. "I can't wait...I wonder....I wonder if he'll take me to the golden saucer when he comes back! I want to enter the chocobo races!"
Vincent ran over to reno and knelt down. "You ok?" He ran to the pillar that was on Reno's legs and started to push it off.

Vincent got the pillar off and helped Reno up. "I wonder what caused that explosion..." He looked around and frowned. "Well...let's keep looking..."
