Vincent closed the door and started to walk off.
Aya blinked and opened the door, running after him. "GRANDPA! Please don't go!" He grabbed Vincent's cape and started to cry.
Vincent stopped and looked down at him. He picked him up and hugged him tightly. "Don't worry...you'll be ok here...I'll be back ok?"
Aya just continued to sob as he held fast to Vincent.
He sighed as he put Aya back down. "now go...we both have to be strong right? if anything bad happens...you hide...you hide and keep your eyes closed."
Aya nodded and looked down. "I'll be strong grandpa...but you better come back!"
"I will...now go...you'll catch a cold." Vincent turned away and satretd to walk off again.
Aya watched untill Vincent disappeared. he sighed and ran back into the house and closed the door.

Eve frowned looking down at the boy. Boy had her life just gotten more complicated or what?
"How the hell are we gonna explain this to Diana?" Rina murmured as she wandered down the stairs, her eyes set on Aya.

Aya looked up at her and frowned. Why was everyone so upset? "Hey stop yelling! My parents were killed a few days ago!" He crossed his arms and pouted.
When Vincent was far enough from the house, he reached down into his pocket and pulled out his PHS.he sighed as he dialed a number and waited. "Reno? I'm done with what I needed to do...I'll get back to Midgar as soon as possible..."

"My you're blunt. At least ya had parents kid." Rina said shaking her head.
"Yeah ok man." Reno said back looking around for awhile. He had finally gotten back together with Kitty, Josh was back and Tifa was happy and everything seemed perfect and then THIS had to happen. Although sending the kid over to Eve and Rina was a good idea, and his little girl was with them as well so he had nothing to fear for the boy's saftey, he wasn;t totally sure it had been the brightest of ideas.
The clones had always been so... attached to Sephiroth... followinjg him everywhere and all... wouldn;t it be the same thing for Eve and Rina? And what about Sephiroth's identical twin... ermmm... Sephiros? Sure the kid had gone missing after he and Tifa had that affair thing but he was still out there. Things just couldn;t be worse.

"Is there anyway for you to arrange a helicopter to come pick me up? I want to get this done and over with you know?"

Rina scoffed and started sarcastically, "Oh yeah a REAL angel that one."
"Rina shush. don;t take offense to what she says ummm Aya. Rina just never particularry liked you're grandpa."

"why not? He's a good guy...you know he is. he might not be very loving but...he takes good care of me when he's around." He looked down at the floor and started to cry.
"Alright...i'm right outside of icicle inn...I'll be waiting." He shut the PHS off and sighed.

Reno looked at the phone and scoffed, "What no goobye?"

Aya continued to cry as she held him. He already missed Vincent. Why didn't she like him? What was so bad about him?
Vincent watched the sky for 20 minutes. "come on Reno...stop fooling around..."

Reno was grumbling as he steered the helocoptor. of course it just HAD to be him to drive? stupid vincent. stupid clones. stupid hojo. stupid stupid!

Aya started to calm down and rubbed his eyes. For only being 6...he had gone through alot. He held onto her close and sighed.
When vincent saw the helicopter she smiled slightly. "Took you long enough..."

Rina sighed shaking her head.
Eve smiled, "Why don;t we fix you up something real nice eh Aya?"
"shut up before i leave ya!"
It wasn;t even a week later. Rina and Diana (who had been surprisingly very happy to take in the young little Aya) set up a room for the boy. it wasn;t much, considering it was on such short notice but still...
the whole incident before was forgotten and although it was strange they had accepted the little boy into their 'family' so to speak. Even Elly. Aya had yet to ask why she had wings and Rina hoped it would stay that way.
Today though, it was everyone's day off from work. Diana was out in the living room with Aya doing her best to play with him, Rina was in her lab, working, and Eve was washing dishes, the only thing left she could do that Rina could allow of her.

Aya had gotten use to the place. His grandpa was right. They were very nice people.
He sat on the couch with Diana and red to her and Elly. "And the br...brave hero s...saved the princ...ess and everyone lived...happily...ev...ever after!" He smiled as he closed the book and started to tickle Elly's feet.
