Sephiroth sighed and shook his head.
Karissa frowned looking over their group. it was decreseing... those demons kept coming after them and no matter how strong they were... tey weren;t going to make it. Sirius was dead. Arrow's youngest son had died as well. among many many others. the last ice flier had ded off as well. no more wings for the jakkus... in fact the only speices left were the moonlight wolves and the flame dancers! the rest were gone!
the Jakkus rested in moarning and knowing they were all going to die... but they would die with pride. Karissa frowned. she was stuck on the ground for awhile. one of the bastards had torn into her back leg rupturing the muscle and it hurt to move even for herself. so she laid there silently. she glanced at the second leader who had collasped to the floor a few hours ago signaling there new resting spot. Shaktia was sleeping three long slashes across her face and her stomach was torn up in the same manner. her arm laid out in front of her. it had gotten sprained in a fall after killing a demon that flew. she was doing better... she wasn;t holding back even though she wished to die to see Casey.
Karissa looked around at the many other. they weren;t going to be able to take much more of this. Karissa sighed shutting her eyes. sleep may be a good idea...

" you should have taken the boys help" Magus stood there in a dark corner with his hood over his head making it hard to see him. He frowned staring towards Karissa there was no way that the Jakku could survive now.

Karissa lifted her head and looked up at him, "Janus?" she whispered confused. was she dead now too? she nknew sleeping was a bad idea! she frowned hoisting her self up holding back her whimpers and refused to move her back legs and she growled at her lover, "the whole world is going to die. what does it matter if i did or didn;t? besides he attacked his own kind. he is no longer a part of us."

" and there is something wrong with that? Last I recalled you jakkus attacked your own kind quite a bit over stupid little things" he walked out and lifted his hood down from his head.

"It's not the fact that jakku attacked Jakku its leader attacked leader. it creates imbalence between us and we can not afford to split again. like it matters anymore. we;ve lost too many of our numbers." Karissa collasped basck onto the floor and shut her eyes, "Besides Janus... no matter what happened from here... i just wanted my son to be WITH me.... i wished so much he would never be what you were..." she looked at him, "it's not death that scares me. its being alone."

she shut her eyes and looked away tears rolling down. it was rare a jakku ever broke down but after all these years she could no longer hold it in. everything chipped away once Nava left her as well. "you're dead Janus... you're dead..." her voice cracked, "are you even real? or am i dead now too?"

Karissa opened her eyes and looked at him silently for a moment. "Janus..." she hosited herself uped on her hands and knees and pounced lightly into his arms locking her own around his chest. she ignored the pain shooting from her torn leg and her once vibrant tail was flat on the ground no longer sparking with color that was her pheonix spirit and soul.

Karissa frowned but nodded leaning her head against his shoulder and shut her eyes. she was just... so tired. the last time she had ever been in his arms was... so long ago.
