It was the next day, and Raichu's family was in a panic. The moment hed found out about his little brother hed rushed to the hospital. It scared the hell out of him to think about it... but it turned out that Vertix was diabetic and low on insulin.
Raichu frowned standing over his little brother staring down... if they hadnt gotten him in here... he probrably would have died...

Rina sighed walking to Vertex's room. she couldn;t take much more of this. the stress was really getting to her. she knocked on the door.

Raichu glanced back at Rina " you really dont have to knock..." he sighed then looked down at his little brother " my parents still sleeping outside?"

" no... it usually doesnt show up in our family till around this age, we thought we werent going to get it but... turns out he did. It skips a generations... guess it got him." he sighed staring down, the poor kid had more needles in his veins than he could count.

Rina nodded, "i see...." she looked at Vertex and sat down with a sigh. she leaned back drained, physically and emotionally.

" yeah... but what it does is... your liver stops creating insulin and well without that... your blood sugar could get too low or too high and that could kill you... his got too high..." he placing his hand over his little brothers then looked over at Rina " arent your parents worried about you? Youve been here since he got here havent you?"
