" Since when do you have to ask to stay over for dinner Raichu?" Proffessor gast asked walking out from the next room.
Raichu glanced back " oh uh... sorry sir, just trying to be polite"
Gast frowned slightly noticing the cuts and bruises all over his face " wha... what happend there... you run into a brick wall?"

" uh... I kinda got in a fight sir..." Raichu said staring down at the ground.
Gast frowned slightly " I see... well then I guess ill get back to work" Gast suddenly turned and headed back towards his lab.
Raichu watched him walk off, that didnt go that well...

"its ok... we can explain why later," Aeris said and smiled.
the next day, Tuesday, was on busy day. the news around school about Aeris' engagement went fast and they couldn;t wait till thursday for Raichu to come back and see the lively couple together again. when they had told there parents it went off with a hitch and the fight was all but forgotten.
Eve sighed sitting on the top of quad steps. this news only depressed her. sure, Rina and Sephiros were great always sticking by her... but who would want a girlfriend who couldn;t talk? she didn;t even have friends really... she;d never be happy.
Her eyes landed on Josh who was on the other side of the quad. he had more of a chance in this world then her... and she wouldn;t lie she had a crush on the boy. he was ambitious... but she didn;t even have a voice to tell him she liked him, like she would but still... she sighed silently and let her eyes drift back to the ground.
she winced suddenly when something hard hit the back of her head. a soda can clattered to the ground and she rubbed her head and looked up as Barret walked towards her with some of his friends scowling.
"move it," Barret ordered.
Eve frowned tenseing a bit remebering the stories Sephiros had told her about him but didn;t move. she was sick of this shit but what could she do?
Barret growled placing his foot on her back and pushed her over the stairs. she winced as she spriled on the ground and her eyes filled with tears but she willed herself not to cry as she stood brushing herself off. meanwhile Barret and his friends were laughing. she glared at them angrily.

Josh heard a thud as he glanced over, he frowned seeing Eve there. He got up from the wall walking over towards them " dont you have anything better to do than pick on people weaker than you tubby?" Josh asked spitting on the ground infront of Barret.

Eve frowned moving away slowly. she didn;t want hi to get in trouble over her.
"thats it you twig i'm gonna kick your fucking ass!" Barret growled barreling up his fists and running foreward.

Josh jumped back slightly and suddenly started to take off his trench coat " why dont you use a little bit better grammar my friend?" he joked tossing it over to the side by a few lockers

Barret scowled, "you bastard!" he ran foreward his fists ready to crash into Josh.

Josh quickly ducked down and sweeped his legs letting Barret crash down to the ground face first. He laughed glancing over at him on the ground as he stood " slow and clumsy aswell... just do yourself a favor and run along. Highschool is for big kids"
