Ivory shut her eyes and sighed.
"No! Stop it please!" She was slammed down on the bed. The smell of alchol filled her nose. She struggled to get free but he was too strong. "mommy?" Aucifer blinked as he looked into the room. "Aucifer...go back to bed.." "But--" "NOW!" She winced as Vand entered her roughly........
She opened her eyes and sighed...

Curtis finished setting his dish in the drying rack as he looked over at her concerned " are you alright Ivory...?"

She blinked and looked at him. "What...oh...I'm fine..."
Aucifer walked to Curtis and haned him the plates. "I'm all done." He smiled and looked at his mother.

Ivory sighed. "No honey...we're going back home today...daddy will get worried."

I vory frowned. "Vand will get worried if we don't come home...he doesn't want me to be here anyway..."
Aucifer frowned. "But mommy...I wanna stay. It's not that hot here."

Curtis sighed as he reached down picking up his grandson putting him on his shoulder " if my back wasnt so bad I might teach you how to surf..."

" whats surf? well is when you take a board... and go on the ocean and swim it out and ride onto the waves" he smiled taking him into the front room showing him his surf board handing on the wall

Aucifer reached out and touched it. He giggled and held onto Curtis tightly.
Ivory sighed...she knew Vand wouldn't be happy about this....

The night came and Ivory tucked Aucifer into bed. She was shaking as she kissed him and turned off the lights...she was worried about Vand...what if he came and tried to kill their parents? She shook her head and sat on the floor.
