Paine remained there silently keeping her glance on him, she wasnt sure if she could trust him up here... the stories she had heard where horrible.
" I... I dont know if I can forgive you this time... you tried to kill both Josh and myself... as much as I... well you know..." she sighed walking into the living room " I still want to be friends though..."

Sephiroth stooped again. ok this was getting annoying. he crossed his arms and looked around.
Sephiros frowned, "you don;t have to forgive me. i just wanted to say sorry. i had no right to do what i did i just lost it."

She got up from the wall and started walking forward towards the side walk this time taking his glance off from him.
" Yeah... I know..." she sat down on the couch looking around " I want you to know something Sephiros... you told me I didnt love you... that hurt... ive tried so hard to keep our love their all these years... and for you to say that... its like you just stabbed me in the heart..."

Sephiroth blinked and his eyes fell on the girl walking down the sidewalk. was it her? he blinked, then blinked again. whoa...
"i know i'm sorry..." Sephiros said frowning. he set the basket down, "listen Tifa... i was angry then..."

Paine opened up her mail box as she looked inside taking out a few things, slowly she glanced over in Sephiroths direction " its not polite to stare" she said cruely then shut the box and started to walk back to he house.
" Yeah... I know you are Sephiros..." she sighed " come sit down ok... you always get nervous when you stand"

Paine walked up to her door sorting through her mail then reached for the door nob glancing back at him, why was he staring at her?
Tifa nodded slightly " yeah well... I mainly came to talk about us..."

Sephiroth blinked and blushed when she looked back and mumbled a sorry even though she wouldn;t hear it and walked off quickly.
Sephiros looked at her, "us?"

Paine glared slightly at him " Yeah and I thought the great Sephiroth was anything but a coward" she smirked then walked into her house shutting the door behind her.
" Yeah... our little affair... im not sure if we can... keep it up... what im saying is..." this was hard to tell him... as mucha s she still loved him it had to be done...

Sephiroth winced but kept walking. he frowned and his eyes narrowed. he hated his title. he hated his name. he hated not being seen as someone normal!
Sephiros sighed, "i know i know Tifa. i know i have to move on and you have a marriage to live out..."

She set the mail down on the table near the door letting out a brief sigh... she was bored... maybe... she nodded walking back outside shutting the door as she just stared at Sephiroth as he walked off.
" Im sorry... Ill always love you... and... I want us to remain friends..."

Sephiroth blinked. someone was watching him again. he turned on his heel and looked back at her.
Sephiros looked at her and smiled, "i love you too... and if we can stay friends then thats better then nothing."

Paine placed her hand on her hip, he was staring at her again. A small smile apeared for a split second then disapeared as she just stood there.
Tifa nodded then glanced at the basket " you better eat those while their fresh... I just got them out of the oven"

Sephiroth rasied an eyebrow then disappeared, reappearing right behind her, "so why are you watching me?"
Sephiros laughed, "sure." he leaned over and took one of the cookies and started eating it.
