Sage smiled as he hugged back. "Well....let's get os sleep." Hepulled the blanket up and over their head. He held Tay close and nuzzled his cheek. "I love you."

The fog horn blew in the morning. Sage opened his eyes and yawned. He looked at Tay and smiled. He rested his head on Tay's chest and took a deep breath. Today they would lose their freedom...but they still had eachother.

Tay smiled and curled around Sage and hius eyes fluttered open sleepily, "hey..."

Sage smiled and nuzzled Tay again. He felt the ship suddenly stop and the horn blew again. There was a knock on the door then a voice. "You two get ready...we're here."

Tay glanced up and frowned, sighing a bit, "well this is it..."

Sage nodded and got out of bed. He walked to the closet and looked around. There were hardly any clothes that would fit him. He sighed as he reached up and grabbed a long coat. He put it on and buttoned it up. It dragged on the floor....but it would have to do.

Tay looked at him and started to snicker, "nice." he stood and walked over looking at the clothes.

Sage blushed. "Shut up...Not my fault that I'm short." He crossed his arms as he walked to the window and looked out. This new town was quite large...in fields. There weren't many houses...just miles of farms.

Tay smiled, "yeah i know." he wore some pants and a shirt, "once we get into town though we'll get something that fits."

The door opened at the man from before came in. "looks like you got some good sleep. Are you ready to go?"
Sage looked at the man and nodded. "yea...we're ready."

Tay nodded stiffly. it just occured to him. the other slaves... they may hurt them.

The man nodded. "My name is Marx. I'm greatful that you have giving up your freedom to help my family. Come, I will bring you to town and buy you both two sets of clothing each. My wife will make the rest of your clothes. After that, I will bring you to your new home and you can get yourselves comfortable...you will start work tomorrow." He walked down the hallway.
Sage looked at Tay and sighed. he walked out of the room and followed the man.

They left the ship and walked to the town square. Marx looked back and smiled, handing them both a pouch. "Here, now you go and find yourself some clothes. When you're ready, come to the town hall. I'll be waiting for you there."
Sage took the pouch and nodded. "Thanks."
