The man's eyes grew wild. "Don't you hurt a boy..." He breathed hard as he glared at the stranger. He raised his hand and the man flew cross the ruins into a broken wall. The man then ran over, almost impossible to keep an eye on him. He grabbed the stranger's hair and pulled his head up, revealing his neck. The man leaned down and suddenly bit the stranger's neck, blood flowed into his mouth and he closed his eyes. He promised himself he would never feed again...but he couldn't help such a hunger.

The boy watched with wide eyes. a vampirie?
the stranger struggled trying to free himself... and soon fell lifeless.

The man released his fangs from the strangers neck and looked up at the boy. Slowly, his wounds started to close. The boy was still there? "Aren't you afraid child?"

the boy blinked then shook his head. he wasn;t scared just shocked, "no... you're my friend."

The man stood and wipped the blood from his mouth. He walked over to the boy and looked down at him. He smiled and touched his head. "Come on, let's go home...what's your name?"
I can't believe I'm taking the boy home...I suppose I can raise him like I raised Sho....

The man nodded. "You can call me Kei..."
About ten years passed. The ruins soon vanished in the new construction of town hall. The building changed, more paint was on them making them seem to be more shadowy at night. Kei was sitting in the livingroom working on a small statue. His hair was cut nicely and his eyes were bright with life.

Daron smiled as he walked towards the front door. he couldn;t wait to see Kei. ever since he found him ten years ago his life had changed, for the better.

Kei put the statue away and walked to the chair that was in the living room. He sat down and closed his eyes. Rain was beating down on the roof and on the streets below...

Daron looked at the sky for a few moments and then fiddled with the door and ooened it, he walked inside, "i;m home!"

Kei's breathing grew faster as he held his chest. He looked up when Daron walked into the room. "Welcome home...supper's in the oven."

"Fine..." He stood up and stumbled over to his room. His room was connected to the livingroon and all that seperated the two rooms were a set of metal bars. He sat on the bed, held his chest and closed his eyes. His limbs were weak and he could hardly keep his head up.
