The men took him deep into the prison walls. They unlocked many gates and walked down many halls into they came to one of the last cells. "Visiter...you have 20 minutes." The man unlocked the bars and walked Daron into it. The man walked behind Kei and untied the nussel. He looked at Daron and nodded. "We'll get you when time is up, please don't touch anything." He walked out of the bars and locked it up, leaving Daron in the cell with the vampire.
Kei turned his head and stared at the floor, making no sound.

Daron looked around frowening then he growled, "i casn;t believe this, tying you up like you're some dog!" he shook his head, "not even a dog deserves this." Daron walked closer to Kei, "Kei..."

Kei breathed deeply, not looking at Daron still. He blinked a few times and just listened...he didn't want Daron to see himself like this.

"i should have never left...." Daron said feeling as shock of guilt run through him, "Kei i'm so sorry."

Kei admired the floor as the boy talked. He hadn't seen him in seven years...and now here he is. He took a deep breath and remand silent. It wasn't the boy's fault...it was his own.

"Kei... why won;t you look at me?" Daron asked timidly, "are you mad at me?"

After a few minutes, Kei sighed again. "how's Fiona?" His voice was weak, it cracked a few times as he spoke those few words.

"Have any children yet?" His voice was so weak that he could hardly get all the words out...his question ended in a whisper. His body was more than weak, it was failing him, eating him away inside.

"yes... two," Daron said frowning, "a little boy with blonde hair and blue eyes and a girl with black hair and hazel eyes. Roy and Justina... Roy's six and Justina is four."

Kei nodded slowly. "I'm happy for you...you have a family of your own...I've raised you well..." He sighed, still not looking at him.

"they put me in trial...i was guilty. The judge gave them the right to conduct test on me...so they used me as a lab rat for a few years, testing my DNA...they burned some of my skin with holy water...and did other test proving that i was a vampire...then after they were happy with their results, they wanted me to talk...i refused...so they put me in here...to rot. Tomorrow is my exicutuion..."
