The Hunter

[Reno]

OOC: ok shoot me i couldn;t come up with a better title. anyways basically... josh izzy you know the drill. lets focus on the kids first shall we?

it had been three weeks. Arrow was still scared. three weeks. three weeks ago was the day he dropped out of school. he parents allowed it. three weeks since he had those feelings. they still haunted him at nights.

three weeks... since he nearly died.

*flashback*

Arrow screamed. clawing at the nearest boy to him. another yanked on his already broken tail. a ripple of laughs was all he could hear as he hit the floor and his pathetic whimpering did no good as his battered and bloodied body lay in the allyway the five boys had dragged him in. he regonized them from school. popular and all.

"let teach this thing a lesson!" the tallest one said. Arrow winced feeling numbness in his arms as two of the strongest men there held them down by his wrists and ankles. the tall boy walked over and Arrow saw a glint of metal. he cried out in fear trying to struggle away. more laughter and the tallest leaned down holding the sciccors with a manic glint in his eyes.

Arrow cried out again feeling his right ear being yanked slightly. he screamed so loudly. he knew what was coming. he felt the cool metal touch his ear and cut down. arrow screech something horrible feeling tears run down his face and feeling cool blood soon join it. his screams continued feeling a second cut and the boy pulled away holding wehat had once been part of his right ear. the boys laughed.

"arrow!" he heard the cry as his vision bluured.

"mommy..." Arrow wimpered falling in darkness.

*end flashback*

Arrow lightly touched the clip in his ear and whimpered looking outside at the daylight. it was growing to become the end of the day for school. he swallowed trying to shake the awful memory away. if his mother and father hadn;t of found him he would have... he would have died. he was thankful to know almost all of his family had been looking for him. at least the ones in the area. he could still remeber the panic though. the fear. the pain...

Arrow shivered and bowed his head. he never wanted to leave the house again.

Dean had walked up to his uncle Casey's house and started to knock onto the door, he hadnt seen his cousin for a while and had heard what happend a few weeks ago. He had gotten pretty worried about Arrow, he hated hearing how those kids bullied him around just because he was different... When there was no response Dean knocked on the door again still waiting.

Raichu glanced over at Dainket " hey kid you better get ready, your going to miss the school bus" he said finishing his meal as he stood up taking his plate to the sink. Life seemed to be going by nicely since he moved back to Nibelheim... it was just him and dainket. It seemed that he was doing a better job raising him than he did with Ryten.

Kyle Pann and Rufus youngest child who was only six jumped on his fathers shoulders " daddy give me a piggy back ride!" he said holding on from his neck. " please daddy!"

Dainket looked up at his grandpa and nodded. "Alright...I'll get going." He put his plate in the sink and got his stuff for school.

[Reno]

Shaktia looked up and set down her book that she was treying to understand how to read, and stood and unlocked and opened the door. she smiled to Dean, "oh hello there Dean!"

Rufus laughed, "alright alright." he grabbed the his son;s legs.

[Jade]

Dean looked up at Shaktia " Antie Shaktia is Arrow home? I havent seen him at school latley and I was getting worried..." he said looking into the house for arrow

Kyle held onto his father neck " hurry go faster!"

Raichu smiled walking up to Dainket as he patted his forehead " hey what do you say after you get home from school I take you out and we get some training done?"

Dainket looked up at him and nodded. "ok grandpa..." he walked outside and looked around. He was use to the cool air. He smiled and started to walked down the path from his house.

[Reno]

"awe well... Dean he is home." Shaktia led the boy inside, "and Arrow won;t be going back to school either."

Rufus laughed and did as his son asked.

[Jade]

Raichu smiled ashe watched Dainket walk off, things where going by nicely in life... Dainket was doing good in school, and was really getting into becoming a fighter... he felt dainket was his second chance...

Dean smiled " awe... hes so lucky I wish my mom would let me quit school" he said then ran down the hallway towards Arrows room and knocked on the door.

Pann walked in the room and smiled watching the two " looks like you two are having fun" she said folding her arms.

Kyle glanced over at his mom " mommy can I skip school today?"

Dainket walked towards the school and sighed. His sighed as he looked up at the sky. His black hair blew in the cold wind...but he was use to it. He wished that he had friends...but he was too shy to talk to the others...the only time he got to play was when him and Raichu went to go visit his aunt and uncle...then he got to play with Cel and Gab.

[Reno]

Shaktia shook her head lightly chuckling a little and she shut the door, "kids..."

Arrow looked up from his bed. he stood and walked over and opened the door. he looked at Dean, "uh... hi."

Rufus laughed, "good luck Kyle. i don;t think its gonna happen."

[Jade]

Raichu frowned watching Dainket walk off then walked outside getting an idea " Hey Dainket! Come back change of plans!"

" Hey cousin what sup dude?" Dean asked pushing through as he walked inside Arrows room looking around " thats so awsome your mom let you drop school... I wish that I could..."

Kyle pouted " but...." Pann shook her head " no you know you have to go to school honey, so you can grow up and get yourself a good job someday."

[Rikugurl]

Dainket looked back and blinked. "huh?" he ran back and looked up at his grandpa. "what grandpa? did i forget something?"

[Reno]

Arrow's ears twitched then laid against his head, "not if you have to pay the price you don;t."

"yeah and it better not be a desk job!" Rufus said, "i hate desk jobs..."

Cel sighed running a brush through her hair.

[Jade]

" why dont you and I got visit your cousins today? We havent gone anywhere for a while really dont you think?"

Dean stared at him oddly " do you want to try and go surf with me later? Im going to skip school today... atleast im going to try..."

" Ok daddy I promise you I wont!" he said hugging him tightly. Kyle loved his dad and looked up to him alot...

Pann smiled walking up to the two taking Kyle off from his dads back and setting him down on the ground " go get ready for school ok sweety?" Kyle nodded and started to run off to his room

Dainket smiled. "really!? yey!" he ran inside the house and up to his room. he took off his school clothes and put on hi play clothes. This was great.

Gab sighed as he played a hand game.
